TAMATSU Heiligenhafen in Heiligenhafen

The Tamatsu experience was a success for us. This slightly different restaurant can have both pros and cons. For us, it was absolutely pro, meaning we were thrilled. Sushi isn't our thing, but the menu offers plenty of other options, whether momos, spinach salad, or kimchi, all very, very tasty. Reservations would be a good idea; pick-up is no problem; our favorite is mixed tempura, a mix of vegetables and chicken. As always, everyone's tastes differ. We enjoyed it and will go back. Go for it and experience something different.... Thank you, Tashi Tamatsu, for the culinary journey....

Stopped here for refreshments on a spontaneous trip to Heiligenhafen. Best view of the marina. Questions about the food were answered in a friendly manner. Extra card with allergens available. Looked great and tasted great too 😋

The service was good and the food was delicious, especially the momos are recommended. When it came to the red curry, the curry with chicken was more convincing than the one with pollock because it was simply more flavorful

We were there for lunch, it was very quiet and we were among the first guests. The starters were good. Afterwards we waited almost an hour for the main courses. I ordered sushi a la chef. Unfortunately, there was chilli mayo spread all over the sushi, something I didn't know from my previous sushi experiences. I am very sensitive to chili spiciness (wasabi can be used without any problems), which made it impossible for me to eat sushi. The service staff was not very accommodating and rather shrugged their shoulders and said that I should have mentioned this and that it had never been a problem before. For me it was the last visit there and the price/performance ratio wasn't right for me. The other dishes were okay, but didn't blow our minds.

Everything was to the best of our satisfaction. What I couldn't eat (for health reasons) was simply taken out and a little more of the other ingredients were used. We already know the location from Büsum. It's always nice The staff was great and very friendly. You belong there and are not just another guest. Always my pleasure. It's worth it 😁😂

Hello, we were at Tamatsu. We took the surprise package. Where the chef creates you a starter plate, a main course plate and a dessert plate. That was absolutely brilliant. We can only recommend it. Very good

Wir sind total begeistert. Wir waren Ostern da, hatten einen Tisch reserviert,aber leider keine Ahnung von Sushi, Momo und Co. Die Beratung durch den Service war super, das ganze Team war sehr freundlich. Das Essen wurde uns erklärt und es hat alles wirklich gut geschmeckt. Der Abend war ein schönes Erlebnis. Die Qualität rechtfertigt auch den Preis. Der Laden ist klein, die Tische stehen eng, aber dennoch kommt bei diesem Team keine störernde Hektik auf. Wir empfehlen das Restaurant gern weiter. Toll ist besonders die Deko außen. Da sitzt man im Sommer sicher schön.

If you want something special, you're in good hands here. Following a recommendation, we went to the restaurant and spontaneously got a table for two people (with several people, it's better to reserve a table in advance). We had sushi and it was just so delicious and the dessert “American cheesecake” with berries was a dream. The staff was very attentive and friendly all the time. We'll definitely be back.

We were on holiday in Schleswig Holstein. Just enjoyed a nice lunch in Heiligenhaven. Cosy restaurant on a nice promenade. Nice service that was interested in where we came from. The waiter had also worked in the Netherlands and could still speak a little Dutch. He had a nice chat with us.

The food was super delicious, which you could enjoy with a beautiful view of the water. The price of the food was okay, as tuna is very expensive, but 6.80 for a beer is disproportionately expensive.

The food is great, but the service is a disaster. We had made a reservation on site for the next day and after the main course we were asked if we would like something to drink. When we said no, we were asked to pay, we still had 5 minutes to leave because time was capped. But we were not informed of this beforehand. We would have actually liked to order dessert, but then we lost the desire. We have never been treated so inhospitably, especially not at this price level.

As soon as you walk in you are greeted in a very friendly manner and immediately feel at home. The food was ready quickly and tasted great. Had a wonderful birthday evening with my girlfriend! We'll be back! Simply great!

A nice restaurant with good cuisine. Located directly at the harbor. We still remember it from summer. Also good for warming up in winter. The pumpkin soup was simply delicious.

Modern Asian cuisine with European elements. We have been guests at Tamatsu several times now and after the teething problems in the beginning, the restaurant has now been a top address in the otherwise somewhat dusty Heiligenhafen for several years now. Good drinks menu, a wide selection of dishes and very good service make it a real asset.

Every time you come here, I'm surprised at how incredibly good the food is and how the owner, Taschi, never stops planning and tinkering with what's possible. And when he's there, he's always good for a quick chat. And it's worth listening to. If you like super duper fine things, you have to eat here. The service is super nice and relaxed and on the ball. The ambience is great. A must.

The ambience is inviting and invites you to linger. The welcome is warm. There should be something for everyone on the menu, but it is not overloaded. The food is really delicious. From the starter to the main course to dessert. The wine list also tops it all off. And because that's the case, you should reserve a table in advance.

Very nicely located and everything is chic and clean. Unfortunately the waiter didn't say a word to us, except for the bare minimum. On the one hand, I understand if you don't feel like serving on Saturday lunchtime in the best weather, but on the other hand, I don't understand why you can't say hello and goodbye or even mention the amount when you pay. Despite everything, we stupidly gave a tip, which naturally went uncommented. That doesn't have to be the case...?! The food (fish and chips) was ok, well fried, but otherwise tasteless fish. I accepted the price of €13 because of the location, but I wouldn't do it again.

Tamatsu Restaurant, hidden in the heart of Heiligenhafen, resembles a garden of paradise, where the harmony of nature meets human artistry. Walking inside, you immediately notice lamps woven from delicate grass that sway like waving meadows under the summer wind. The light they cast is warm and soft, almost blurry, like morning fog, enveloping the interior with a delicate glow. Amid this sensual play of light, there are colorful roosters - small works of art that, in their simplicity, remind us of the joy of life, laughter and innocence. The seats at Tamatsu seem to be nothing more than a promise of comfort. Their deep, soft fabric absorbs you, as if wanting you to stay here a moment longer, forgetting about the noise of the outside world. When you sit down, it feels like time is slowing down and the only thing that exists is the warmth of this place. There is atmospheric music in the background - not too loud, not too quiet - perfectly fitting the moment. The sounds flow calmly, as if each tone wanted to tell its own story about love, longing and elusive moments. The air is filled with the subtle aroma of spices, promising a sensual experience. Guests talk in whispers, as if this place requires them to respect the magic that permeates it. The waiters move gracefully, almost invisible, as if they were part of this theatrical performance happening around. War mal bedeutend besser. Man sitzt bei einem wunderschönen Ambiente direkt am Jachthafen. Das Essen ist asiatisch durchschnittlich, die Tagesempfehlung hatte Imbiss Charakter.

Nice cozy restaurant. Interesting atmosphere. We only had peppermint tea here in the afternoon with fresh mint and waffles with cherries and ice cream. Both were very good.

Versatile menu, wonderful hummus and fresh tuna cooked to perfection. Excellent service, wonderful location on and overlooking the marina. Overall extremely pleasant.

Had lunch with 2 people, free choice of table, nice atmosphere. But then the completely unmotivated young waitress arrives. There is only one menu, but upon request we get a second one. The cutlery is then placed at the front of the table and the guest is allowed to work with them, or what's the point? The food will arrive at some point, very tasty and at a good temperature! The other dish, fried fish and fries, was unfortunately only lukewarm. Otherwise it would have tasted really delicious. No one came to the table to ask if everything was OK. Ps the waiter who brought the beer was absolutely perfect, I never want to be served by that lady again.

Super delicious! What a great shop! No matter whether Tibetan dumplings, super fresh sushi, chicken curry or steak. There is something for everyone here. The atmosphere outside is more than cozy and definitely invites you to sit for a long time. The service was nothing short of perfect! The professional and relaxed manner as well as a bowl of water and a few crawls for the four-legged friend ensure a feel-good atmosphere. Not exactly cheap, but definitely consistent with the quality. We'll definitely be back. Thank you! 😊

Wir haben vor einigen Jahren sehr schlechte Erfahrungen mit dem Tamatsu gemacht. Bedienung war damals absolut unterirdisch. Wir haben dann heute nochmal ne Chance gegeben: Superfreundlicher Service. Es passte wirklich alles. Wenn das so bleiben sollte, ist das Tamatsu tatsächlich empfehlenswert. Möglicherweise jedoch etwas für eine jüngere Klientel (sehr stylisch und doch unkompliziert), aber auch wir haben uns als "mittelalt" sehr wohl gefühlt. Wenn man außen oder oben einen Platz erwischen kann - gut. Hier gilt der Grundsatz: sehen und gesehen werden. 😁

This was our second time at Tamatsu and we were very satisfied again! A great selection of Asian/Italian fusion cuisine. The location at the marina is of course great! The only drawback: In our opinion, the prices are (too) high. So a visit to Tamatsu remains something special, something you only treat yourself to once in a while, but still highly recommended.

The lunch menu is great value for what you get, especially in this location. The normal main courses here are really extremely tasty. Top!

That was harmonious, interesting dishes

Unfortunately our table was still occupied when we arrived. We were asked to pick up an aperitif from the counter in the bar 30m away, which belongs to TAMATSU. Unfortunately, we weren't served there for 10 minutes despite having "registered" at the counter, whereupon we went back to the TAMATSU restaurant. (There is a star deduction here, but this should rather apply to the bar.) From then on everything went smoothly and we were served attentively. The starters all came at the same time, except for the seaweed salad that we had ordered, and were plentiful and just right in quantity and we were looking forward to the main course. Starters: Tempura shrimp, veggie tempura, edamame, beef momo (starter), momo mix (starter), (unfortunately the Beef Momo Dumplings were a bit dry, which can happen quickly with beef due to its lower fat content, but still tasty) Main courses: Hot Strong Tempura Roll, Crunchy Tiger Roll, Creamy Baked Salmon roll, Crispy Veggie Roll, Tuna Tempura Roll, Crispy Beef Nigiri Main courses were all well portioned and very tasty. My personal highlight was the Crispy Beef Nigiri (something extraordinary and taste-wise 10/10) Dessert: Tonka bean crème brulee, popcorn parfait “Tamatsu Style” The tonka bean creme brulee was very tasty and recommended, the parfait was also very good, only the popcorn had a strange burnt taste. The only bitter aftertaste was the 4 bottles of still water that were tapped from the tap in front of us and then charged at €32.

It was very, very crowded and the staff was clearly overwhelmed. Other than that it was a very nice evening with good food. Very high priced.

We have an extensive event coming up for a private celebration in the foreseeable future and we'll be testing out one or two locations ourselves over the next few days without further discussions. We agree with the hotel industry - the restoration is currently still in the discovery phase... Long story short, we ate at Tamatsu earlier and according to bill number 168415, table 100 / we were allowed to enjoy service number 10. In a nutshell, the performance was both shocking and terrifying. The 2 stars are only there because the table was clean and the view was pleasing. Of my two pieces of liver, one was undercooked and had tendons running through it. The second slice was decent. When it was cleared away, the moment of truth came with the question of whether it had been okay so far? No, it wasn't, which was clearly communicated with a greeting to the kitchen. With a smile of some sort worthy of a Mona Lisa, the service maid left... After another half hour it became too stupid for us, my wife paid directly to the well-known service person and was able to enjoy the mysterious smile once again - this time probably because the expected tip of 0.00 was in line with the performance. In plain language, we expected an apology and at least an offer of compensation for the failed meal. The girl seemed to be overwhelmed. In the event of a failure of this kind and the specific factual complaint, I ultimately expect the cook to appear at the table... For me the bottom line: service incompetent and downright damaging to business - food poor. There is no question that we will not visit this location again, let alone recommend it. P.S Two hours after consuming the *Hot Strong*, my wife started having severe stomach problems. If a visit to the doctor becomes necessary, I will know how to use the test results. Addendum: After a vigorous emptying of the stomach and intestines, the *Hot Strong* was digested. Thanks for nothing!

Absolutely great food and nice ambience.

Full marks for a super delicious meal, very nice service and the ambience and view at the marina are unbeatable. Plus wonderful sunshine to enjoy the whole thing in the outdoor area with a view of the marina...what more could you want? We were definitely not there for the last time. Thumbs up for the successful catering concept.

We were thrilled! The food was great, the service was nice and the atmosphere right by the harbor was really wonderful, even during a thunderstorm. We were completely happy. So please train the staff on the MS Tashi in Burgtiefe! :)

- 5 stars for the ambience: direct view of the port of Heiligenhafen. You can't sit more beautifully. - 3 stars for the service: we waited about 30 minutes for the drinks and a total of 1.5 hours for the main course - 3 stars for the vegetarian sushi: as a vegetarian, I have the veg. Ordered a sushi chef platter and all but one piece was deep fried and many of them were covered in some kind of mayo sauce. It's just not for me. - 3 stars for price - performance overall. The prices are really high and the quantities are very very small. And the sushi isn't that excellent either.

We were assigned a seat right at the entrance, even though there were a lot of seats available, and despite asking to be moved, we were repeatedly turned away.

Perfectly located directly on the marina and the promenade to the pier, the Tamatsu is definitely one of Heiligenhafen's culinary highlights. High prices for outstanding cuisine, but actually worth the money. Absolute tip!

Very friendly staff. Delicious food. Unfortunately, the slightly hotter chili mayonnaise was on all the sushi pieces in Sushi A La Chef. That didn't suit my taste. But that's just my taste. All in all recommended.

Thursday evening. Super full - the service lady was still able to offer us a table after 20 minutes. My husband's meal was really good, my roast duck in the salad was strong! roasted. But okay. We just expected something different.........

Waren nach längerem mal wieder dort. Was für eine Veränderung, die Kellnerin hat uns nicht wirklich verstanden. Die Toiletten ließen in der Sauberkeit, sowohl Frauen als auch Männer zu wünschen übrig. Da es sich nicht um ein „ Preiswertes „ Essen dort handelt, sollten sich die Betreiber darüber mal Gedanken machen, das die Toilette das Aushängeschild ist. Das die Kellnerin uns nicht richtig verstanden hat, ist nicht ihre Schuld. Hier muss der Betreiber darauf achten, wann er wem wo einsetzt. Zum Essen, wir hatten eine sogenannte Grillpfanne. Mit Spareribs, Schweinefilet, Jakobsmuschel, Lachs und panierte Scampi. Ein sehr gutes Angebot und reichlich für zwei Personen. Das Filet war Lauwarm und Zäh, wurde anstandslos Neu gemacht. Das Neu gemachte war ebenfalls nur etwas wenn die dritten auch gut halten. Man wurde angehalten ordentlich zu Kauen. Letztlich haben wir mit trinken 91€ bezahlt ohne Trinkgeld. Dafür muss aber doch was gemacht werden um diese Preise auch zu rechtfertigen.

Essen war wirklich genial. Hummus und Kimchi sehr sehr lecker. Beide Rolls waren top. Immer wieder gerne. Kommen wieder Personal sehr freundlich. Wir kamen recht spät aber die Küche konnte noch zaubern. Waren begeistert
