Das Essen ist fantastisch 🤩 unbedingt probieren!!!

Man bestellt eine Sprite und bekommt eine Spezi, ok, kann passieren. Dann bestellt man das Butter Chicken und bekommt ein Curry und es wird mit einem diskutiert, dass das das sei, was man bestellt hätte. Ich glaube das wüsste ich. Alles in allem einfach keine gute Erfahrung, und das auch ohne die ewigen Wartezeiten zu beachten.

Wenn 0 Sterne möglich wäre, dann wären es 0 Sterne. Wir haben falsches Essen und Getränke bekommen, haben eine halbe Stunde aufs essen gewartet, Personal hat auch sein Fehler nicht eingesehen und mit und diskutiert, essen hat nicht geschmeckt und war einfach unprofessionell. Kann ich nicht weiter empfehlen. Preis Leistung war einfach schlecht

Wir hatten für 20:30 Uhr eine Reservierung für 13 Personen an einem Messetag vorgenommen. Ursprünglich war ein angenehmes Beisammensein mit Freunden geplant, jedoch wurden diese Pläne durch die Unfähigkeit der Servicekraft zunichtegemacht. Wir hatten zweimal für denselben Zeitpunkt angerufen, da wir zuvor 11 Personen angegeben hatten. In beiden Fällen wurde 20:30 Uhr bestätigt. Nach einem anstrengenden Tag kamen wir im Restaurant an, ohne dass ein Versuch unternommen wurde, uns zu helfen oder Ähnliches. Stattdessen wurde in einem äußerst unfreundlichen Ton behauptet, dass wir für 18:30 Uhr gebucht hätten.

Für 13 Leute reserviert, aber zur besprochenen Uhrzeit waren wohl keine Tische mehr frei. Schade.

Das wäre mein erstes Mal Indisch essen und ich hab mich sehr gefreut nach der Dokomi hier zu essen. Wir haben vor einigen Wochen reserviert, sind dann um 20:30 reingegangen und uns würde direkt gesagt, dass wir um 18:30 reserviert haben und die keinen Tisch für uns haben. Sehr schade, wir haben uns als eine große Gruppe sehr gefreut hier zu essen.

Sehr delikates, frisch zubereitetes Essen. Allerdings war die Ente leider ein wenig zu durch und der Reis zu körnig. Dennoch ist das Restaurant meine Empfehlung wert

Das Taj Palace Düsseldorf ist ein wundervoller Ort mit herzlichen und freundlichen Gastgebern, bei denen man sich sofort wie zu Hause fühlt. Wir haben während unseres Aufenthalts für Interpack neun Tage lang dort gegessen – und ich muss sagen, wir haben das Essen und die Gastfreundschaft absolut genossen!

Sehr schlechter Service. Es dauerte über eine Stunde, bis das Essen serviert wurde.

Mir wurde der WLAN-Zugang verweigert, mit der Begründung, er sei nicht verfügbar, obwohl er verfügbar war.

Schlechtester Service und schlechtestes Essen, wir haben eine Stunde gewartet.

Also egal was ich bis jetzt bestellt habe, hat fantastisch geschmeckt. Dabei ich finde ich eigentlich immer was, was nicht gefällt. Also hier: absolute Geschmackserlebnisse! Frisch, geschmackvoll und einfach nur toll. Bin gerne vegetarisch und manchmal vegan. Die Küche und das Restaurant und Lieferservice sind wirklich top. Dieses Jahr 2026 min 7x bestellt/gegessen.

Das Personal ist freundlich, aufmerksam und hochprofessionell, ohne dabei aufdringlich zu sein. Sie reagieren prompt auf alle Wünsche und sorgen dafür, dass man sich während des gesamten Besuchs bestens betreut fühlt. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt ist das ausgezeichnete Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Angesichts der Qualität der Speisen und des gesamten Erlebnisses sind die Preise mehr als angemessen. Alles in allem ein fantastisches kulinarisches Erlebnis – ich werde definitiv wiederkommen und kann das Taj Palace Stockum jedem wärmstens empfehlen, der auf der Suche nach hervorragendem Essen und erstklassigem Service ist!

A culinary highlight – authentic & delicious! I was absolutely thrilled with my visit to Taj Palace. The inviting atmosphere made me feel welcome from the moment I stepped inside. The service was incredibly friendly and attentive, even though the restaurant was quite busy. The food – especially the tandoori dishes from the clay oven – was an absolute delight, perfectly seasoned and flavorful. The appetizers and naan bread were also fantastic. A must for any lover of Indian cuisine in Düsseldorf. I will definitely be back! Highlights: Authentic flavors: Very tasty main courses, especially the tandoori specialties. Taj Palace ist echt next level! 🔥 Schon beim Reinkommen direkt nice Vibes, richtig entspannt dort. Essen? Einfach krank gut! Alles mega frisch, richtig geil gewürzt und einfach nur lecker. Man merkt sofort, dass da richtig Mühe drinsteckt. Service auch 10/10 – super freundlich, locker drauf und voll aufmerksam, aber null nervig. Genau so muss das sein! Super leckeres Essen. Wir haben bestellt und es kam alles heiß an. Super freundliche Kommunikation. Das Naan hat bis jetzt alle übertroffen. Haben sogar eine Cola geschenkt bekommen.

Wir waren das erste Mal hier, wir haben noch so lange unserer Lieblingspizzeria nachgetrauert aber das war ein Fehler. Wir hätten schon viel früher kommen sollen. Es hat uns sehr sehr gut geschmeckt. So ein köstliches Essen und der MangoLassi ….mhhhhh….Da wir draußen gesessen haben, war für uns das Ambiente wunderbar. Wir hatten Glück, im März Sonnenschein. Es wurde für uns auch extra die Markise eingefahren, damit wir volle Sonne haben, das war sehr nett. Als junger Mensch war ich oft indisch essen, irgendwann wurde es dann zu teuer . Hier stimmt das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Wir werden jetzt regelmäßig kommen und alle vegetarischen Gerichte ausprobieren, es gibt so ein tolles Angebot. Schon bei meinem ersten Besuch am 22. März wurde ich nicht nur als Kunde, sondern als Gast herzlich willkommen geheißen. Die Inhaber, Guru und Yaad, gehören zu den herzlichsten und authentischsten Menschen, die man je kennenlernen wird. Ihre Gastfreundschaft geht weit über den Service hinaus – man fühlt sich hier wie zu Hause. Besonders beeindruckt haben mich ihre Freundlichkeit, ihr ständiges Lächeln und ihre Bereitschaft zu anregenden Gesprächen, die jeden Besuch unvergesslich machten. Was diesen Ort aber wirklich besonders macht, ist das Essen. Es ist nicht nur authentisch, reichhaltig und voller Geschmack, sondern Guru und Yaad haben sich sogar die Mühe gemacht, indische Gerichte zuzubereiten, die gar nicht auf der Speisekarte standen, nur um sicherzustellen, dass mein Kollege und ich uns wohlfühlten und rundum zufrieden waren. Solch eine Sorgfalt und persönliche Note ist unglaublich selten. Jede Mahlzeit schmeckte wie selbstgekocht – frisch, perfekt gewürzt und mit echter Liebe zubereitet. Tatsächlich war der Aufenthalt so angenehm, dass ich vom 22. März bis zu meiner Abreise aus Düsseldorf am 26. März jeden Tag im Taj Palace gegessen habe. Es wurde mehr als nur ein Restaurant – es wurde zu einem Ort, auf den ich mich täglich freute. Wenn Sie authentische indische Küche schätzen, ist dies ein absolutes Muss. Und neben dem Essen nehmen Sie etwas noch viel Wertvolleres mit: schöne Erinnerungen, anregende Gespräche und das Gefühl, wunderbare Menschen kennengelernt zu haben, denen das Wohl ihrer Gäste wirklich am Herzen liegt. Absolut empfehlenswert! Ich werde ganz sicher wiederkommen, sobald ich wieder in Düsseldorf bin.

Das Restaurant war ein Zufallsfund am Abend vor der Messe. Die indische Küche ist wirklich gut und authentisch! Der Service aufmerksam und höflich. Allein das Ambiente könnte minimal gemütlicher sein. Unterm Strich aber definitiv einen Besuch wert!

Die Speisen waren wunderschön angerichtet und das Essen hervorragend. Nur eine Kleinigkeit, aber ich kann das köstliche Gulab Jamun als Dessert wärmstens empfehlen. Merkt euch das! Ja, genau ihr!

Nie wieder: Nehmen Bestellung für 4 Personen an (als Lieferzeit am Telefon 1 h genannt), liefern dann doch nicht, sagen auch nicht ab, sind telefonisch nicht erreichbar. Knapp 2 h später um 20:40 Uhr haben wir storniert. Das Essen war noch nicht einmal zubereitet und Ausreden (angeblich kein Fahrer) ließen darauf schließen, dass gar keine Lieferabsicht bestand. Es wurde zwar angeboten, dann jetzt PÜNKTLICH in einer halben Stunde zu liefern, was nicht glaubhaft war. Das Ärgerliche ist, dass sie uns nicht Bescheid gegeben hatten, denn wir hätten das Essen auch abgeholt. Wir sind nicht die Einzigen, denen nicht abgesagt wurde, das hat offensichtlich Methode. Keinerlei Entschuldigung seitens des Restaurants.

The food and prices were great – the service was quick and attentive – the ambiance was rather cold and didn't quite match the quality of the food. After the trade fair, I just wanted to grab a bite, and this Indian restaurant was on my way. :-) I got a table right away, even though it was very busy – that's not always the case when you're traveling alone. :-) I highly recommend the tandoori chicken. As far as I could see, it's family-run, and you can tell it's authentic Indian cuisine. The spiciness and the spices are unmistakable – but with the lassi, it's always a treat. The decor has been left as it was – you can tell they focus on the food and less on the ambiance. The prices are very reasonable. As for the quality of the food, it's always a good choice.

I'm very disappointed today. I don't understand why I was ripped off. I've ordered from them a lot, and the food is always delicious, no question. I called and ordered Butter Chicken for two, which used to cost €19.90 and recently went up to €21.99, which wasn't the problem. But the flyers, which were newly printed because the prices were updated, stated that there was a 25% discount for every pickup order. That's always been the case, except for today. After I picked up the food with my son, and we paid €43.63 for the two dishes I ordered (rounded up to €45), I noticed later in the car that the receipt showed a €10.95 difference, and I was supposed to pay €32. When I went back to the store and mentioned it, the woman asked the manager why. The manager said that there were no more discounts and that it used to be that way. The prices have gone up... I was confused and trusted the information, but later I wondered if that were the case, why would it say so in the flyer?! Since the new prices are also on it, it can't be an old flyer!! Therefore, I'm no longer a regular customer. And today is Valentine's Day too! 👍

The food here is shocking, small portions very little meat in the dishes as they added potato as a filler and lots of sauce. V hot dish here is mild to medium in the uk. Avoid avoid avoid. It really is disappointing

I ordered through Lieferando. Half an hour after the estimated delivery time, I called. First, they asked for my postal code, then they said they didn't have a driver. They didn't notify me or call back; their main goal was to confirm the order with Lieferando and collect the money.

There were five of us eating there. The welcome was warm and inviting. It's a small restaurant and looks rather unassuming from the outside. Inside it's a bit cramped, but very cozy. We all ordered different dishes and everyone loved them. We were absolutely delighted with the quality and quantity. The service was incredibly friendly and attentive. We had a wonderful time and look forward to returning soon.

Food was a bit tasteless, otherwise nothing to complain.

We were there to redeem a voucher from a voucher book. Instead of being allowed to sit in the warm and cozy front area, we were then shown to the heated back room. Since we wanted to use the voucher, we stayed there. It should be noted that we were the only guests at 4:00 PM. The appetizer was breaded with chickpea flour. The two main courses were tasty, but at best average.

I went here after a long day of work and had the most wonderful food and service. The palak paneer and naan were fantastic. The next day i went again with my dad and everything was spot on. Generous portions, fair prices and very kind owners. They even gave us a little bit of their amazing pickled chillies to take home with us because we liked it so much. I wish i had a restaurant like this where i live! PS: their gajar halwa is THE BEST

Delicious food! Fantastic naan and roti, of which you should order at least one as a side dish. They have a good selection of vegetarian dishes and even some vegan options. In addition to chicken, they also serve duck, fish, and shrimp. As for drinks, I really enjoyed the mint lassi. The crowning glory is a pot of chai for dessert. You can sit outside or inside in the summer. Currently, finding a spot is no problem. They also offer delivery.

This was our first time here and we're absolutely thrilled! The food is so delicious, and the way it's served is simply fantastic! The service was super friendly and explained exactly what was what. We had the butter chicken, mango chicken, and the garlic naan bread. All highly recommended. The mango lassi was outstanding.

How I would love to eat Indian food again, but what do you get here? Even after more than 90 minutes (on a Friday evening), there's still no delivery. Rhineland laziness or simply no desire? Then not...

The menu impresses with its variety and authentic Indian classics: in addition to popular chicken curries, there's Lamb Bhuna/Vindaloo and even seafood options like Scampi Bhuna or Fish Bhuna. Everything is prepared individually to your desired spiciness—it's nice not to be surprised by a "medium" setting. Plus, papadums, raita, and pickles—a true gourmet experience!

We spontaneously decided on this restaurant to fortify ourselves before the football game. The atmosphere isn't really comfortable, but the food was very tasty. You can eat outside, inside or in the back area. Recommendation.

This was our first time eating here. The two of us ordered 5 different dishes. Plus drinks and a lassi mango. Philipo was very attentive and super friendly. He soon realized that all the dishes couldn't fit on one table and asked if we would prefer to sit at a larger table. We gratefully accepted this friendly and very attentive offer. The meal was excellent. Philipo the waiter is one of the nicest, politest and most accommodating waiters we have ever had.
