Just had lunch in Taj, wonderful place, food is great, must visit

The restaurant is beautiful, the staff there are respectful and halal, and their food is very excellent, clean, luxurious and elegant

The Taj Mahal Restaurant scores with the excellent quality of the food - the taste is really convincing and authentic. However, the service left something to be desired and was not particularly attentive. The prices are high and the ambience was rather unspectacular. Unfortunately, despite several couples at the table, NeoTaste was only accepted once, which was disappointing. Overall, a mixed experience with a few drawbacks.

I recently dined at the Taj Mahal and was thoroughly impressed with the experience. The dishes were not only incredibly flavorful but also generously portioned. A special shoutout to the Tikka Masala, which was perfectly spiced, and the Mango Dream dessert, which was an absolute delight! I must also commend Sohail, who provided outstanding service throughout the meal. His attentiveness and professionalism truly elevated our dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to enjoy authentic Indian cuisine!

The best Indian food I have ever tried in germany, The service was really good especially a young charming south Indian guy who recommend best dishes for my taste; I will definitely recommend this if you would like to visit an Indian restaurant having good food and excellent service.

I ordered food here based on Wolt's high reviews and was disappointed. The garlic naan was dry as was the naan with lamb, I have never had such dry bread at an Indian restaurant. In addition, the butter chicken and mango chicken were not convincing in terms of taste and the curry was liquid instead of creamy. The rice, on the other hand, was okay, nothing special. At €21.50 per dish, I think it should have at least tasted good to very good and not bland. If you want authentic and delicious food for your money, don't order here.

I was here this afternoon and I have to say it was a disaster! The bread was hard, greasy and far too crispy, the curry dishes were far too runny like soup. Some of the staff only speak English. Never again! I'd rather go to the Indian guy I trust.

I am always really happy with the overall package. The ambience is nice and appealing, the service is always perfect and the food is delicious. There is a large selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes. The lassis and cocktails are highly recommended!

It is expensive, the food is acceptable, but there are a lot of spices, and the place is nice 👌

We spontaneously decided on this restaurant, when we entered we first thought, great... everything was full, but luckily that wasn't the case. The extremely friendly employee took us to a table and brought us the cards. There are a variety of authentic Indian dishes, including vegetarian and vegan. We ordered starters and main courses, everything was delicious. There are also a variety of drinks. The employees are always very attentive without being intrusive. We will be back.

Today I had Indian food at the Taj Mahal. The meal was a complete pleasure. The meat was very tender and tasted very tasty. The service and the waitress was very friendly. The restaurant was very clean and comfortably furnished. I've eaten Indian food in many places, but I haven't liked it like the Taj Mahal. I can only recommend the restaurant.

Overpriced, small portions with hardly any meat. I didn't like it particularly well, rather very below average. Mango Lassi is delicious, but I would like to give it one star. Ambiance is ok, nothing special for the high prices.

It was a good experience to sit there with so many Indian pictures around. I ordered two samosas with pakora and two chai, also Gulab Jamun. It wasn't exactly authentic Indian taste, but it was still good.

Great food .not spicy for me although they mention it hot and spicy dish. Restaurants was clean, the waiters was very nice introduced us most of the food so that we don’t order similar taste dish from the menu. Butter chicken quite nice. And the mutton was flavorful and tender.

Food was excellent! Salmon super tender, great taste and very exquisitely prepared. Great naan and good wine. We will be back.

Very good service and delicious food

Delicious food and beautiful decor! We were craving some Indian abroad and this restaurant was both affordable and pleasant. It is not as strong as in Sweden, but people think that can be both good and bad. Very nice staff (especially a cute guy who served us). I would highly recommend!

I arrived alone on Friday at around 9:00 p.m. The place was quite full, but there were about 5 empty tables when I entered. The waiter asked me to start thinking about where to seat me, and then the owners informed him that they were full and there was no room available, maybe because I was alone so I didn't save him, too bad Who intends to come alone, it's a waste of his time to go somewhere else in the first place.

The food is really excellent. Super nice restaurant and good service. The chicken mango curry was incredibly delicious.

My fiancée and I ate at the Taj Mahal in Frankfurt because our friends recommended it. I wanted to have a nice evening, but unfortunately nothing came of it. When we arrived we were served by a service employee who didn't speak German, which made communication difficult. The food was delicious but the service was an absolute disaster. While we were eating, an argument began among the employees that spread throughout the store. A waiter was arguing loudly with one of his colleagues and dragging us around the store, leaving us wondering what was going on. The argument continued at the bar and even in the kitchen we heard screaming and breaking dishes. It was very unpleasant for me and my companion and our evening was severely affected. The food was great but the service left something to be desired. The owner should definitely think about his employees.

This was the most shocking experience I have had in Germany! I visited this place on 23/04/2024 at around 09:17 pm. I was a single guy and I entered the restaurant, there were group of 4 ahead of me and 2 people were behind me! The ones ahead of me were seated and when my turn came the steward just said “ We don’t have any table !” But then the couple behind me (who had no reservation he arranged a side table for them. I am quite in shock as to was this because I was Indian or because the he thought 2 people would give him more business! Very disappointed in this treatment! Maybe it’s time they either post “Single person not allowed” or something like that.

The restaurant is beautifully decorated. The large photos on the walls were impressive and appropriate for the restaurant. The food was excellent. The service was also very good. Everyone was friendly and attentive.

Taste is good, but i think they should have more options in the menu, and it would be great if they could have some reserved parking options.

In my opinion, this restaurant is one of the top 10 in Frankfurt. The restaurant has moved from Willy-Brandt-Platz to Schweizer Straße. The location is no longer quite as impressive as it used to be - and they still have to fight for approval from the city for the small outdoor area (where you can also smoke). It should be noted: we chose this restaurant because - with one of my guests in mind - they also offer a really good selection of vegetarian dishes. Also worth highlighting is the fast and friendly service - and also the fact that the 2019 prices apparently still apply on the food and drinks menu. The only point of criticism: there were only 3 white wines to choose from on the wine list. Of quite high quality. We were also very happy with the Hessian Pinot Gris, but we would also have liked Sicilian and South African white wines on the menu. P.S. Apparently the most popular food for non-vegetarians is still “Mixed Seafood from Grill” . The other people ordered that too.

Luxury restaurant. I came near here the other day The restaurant I found. I've been here before, I couldn't get in because it was full. I came to this restaurant again. The interior is very beautiful Clean restaurant 😀 But everything is expensive I'm sorry, but if you pay this price I had a good experience at a different Indian restaurant. The service is neither good nor bad. Rather, the service was inorganic without a smile. I felt like I was doing it. And as for the taste, It was a delicious restaurant. Will I go again? That is questionable.

Overrated. We paid 50€ per person. I miss good old cozy Indian family interior & atmosphere and don't get the sterile stylish furniture fancyness. For that price I expect biodynamic earth care transparency & quality and excellent taste. Some vegan dishes, that's nice! But no main dish below 20€. Ordered Samosas beforehand, but got mixed starters instead - fried veggies basically, a joke. I said something but we weren't offered anything. Surprise us with a rework! ✌️

Were there for dinner on March 1st at 6:00 p.m., two people. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our table. The homemade lemonade tasted excellent, the staff was always attentive and asked us several times if everything was OK and if we needed anything. The starters combined with the main course were really tasty, the tender butter chicken was like a royal dish for my taste buds! All in all, I can highly recommend Taj-Mahal, the atmosphere was very modern and extremely pleasantly furnished. I'm looking forward to the next visit!

I came here because I read the reviews and they said “ best Indian in Frankfurt”. Guys have you ever had good Indian food? Naan bread seemed from yesterday (super super dry), the rice was overcooked and the chicken tikka masala was almost tasteless and very watery. Butter chicken was slightly better but still.. very poor in taste. You can find so much better in ffm.

The food was very good and the decor was tasteful. Personally, it was a bit too restless for us because the reservations are made in two stages and the guests almost all arrive at the same time. However, we also had an inconvenient table for two, right next to the cloakroom and near the kitchen. Nevertheless, the organization was good and the waiting time was absolutely ok.

Danger! False reviews! My old review was challenged by Taj Mahal. This was 3 stars and had no inappropriate comments whatsoever. Since the company is trying to prevent free expression of opinion in its favor, I am now only giving it one star. Impossible!

Just managed to get two places there on Mondays. Nice waitresses. Beautifully set tables with cloth napkins. Dishes freshly cooked and served hot. Very tasty as well as the dessert. Good wine list and large selection of drinks. We really liked it and recommend it.

A small, cozy tappas restaurant. There is a large selection of tappas. There is also a large wine list and Sanria. Value for money is good. The service is nice and friendly.

Essen ist geschmacklich exzellent, aber gefühlt etwas zu teuer. Vor allem bei den Fleischgerichten gibt es viel Soße, aber wenig Fleisch. Qualität stimmt dennoch. Service ist etwas durchwachsen, je nach Kellner. Alles in allem eine gute Wahl, aber eben keine 5 Sterne.

Das Essen war richtig gut, der Service war richtig gut und vorallem die Atmosphäre hat mir sehr gefallen. Empfehle ich jeden weiter👍

War hier heute mit meiner Frau essen und muss sagen dass ich noch nie ein so leckeres Butter Chicken sowie chicken Tandoor gegessen habe! Es ist aufjedenfall einen Besuch wert. Sehr elegante Einrichtung, sowie toller Service und sehr leckeres Essen.

Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen!! Ich esse sehr oft Indisch und muss sagen dass dieses Restaurant mein neuer Favorit ist. Wir waren vom Ambiente, den Hausgemachten Getränken bis hin zum Essen begeistert. Die Bedienung sehr sympathisch zuvorkommend und freundlich. Wir kommen aufjedenfall wieder!

Das war mein erster Besuch, aber ich werde ab jetzt immer wieder kommen. Es ist super super lecker gewesen, die Gewürze, das Gemüse, auch das Dessert ist zu 100% weiterzuempfehlen. Die Einrichtung ist sehr schön und modern, die Servicekräfte sind ebenfalls sehr lieb und sympathisch. Ich bin mehr als zufrieden, danke!

Im Hähnchen Vindaloo viel Kartoffeln wenig Fleisch. Geschmack okay. Service einfach grottenschlecht. Bestellung vergessen, ohne nochmalige Erinnerung an die Kellner sitzt man lange vor leeren Tellern. Essen nur lauwarm. Wir kommen nicht wieder.
