Literally the best Indian food I’ve had in Frankfurt! However I’ll also say I’ve actually never had better Indian food in any other country either! The staff are amazing, the owner Nickey is a gentleman and again the food is beyond words! I beg anyone to come here because you will not be disappointed! Online reservation was accepted for today, also open today according to Google Maps. On site there was a handwritten note in the window saying “closed for holidays”. Annoying!

We were there this evening because we love Indian 😀 On our many city trips we usually always eat Indian food and then think we can rate the food. The food was great, the price and performance were good, and the restaurant wasn't as kitschy as is often the case. The Bombay Palace is in our TOP 5 of the Indian places we have visited (approx. 30 restaurants).

Very beautiful restaurant with traditional and very delicious Indian food, specialities, desserts, tasty tea. The atmosphere is very friendly, the service is amazing. Many thanks to the team for such hospitality. My family and I found this restaurant by coincidence and were happy about it. We also liked interior which looks like museum and music. As an Indian, I have already been to several Indian restaurants in Frankfurt, but the quality and taste of what Bombay Palace offers is simply fantastic. Here you can experience India!!! Keep it up, I can recommend it, thank you. I would be happy to come by again.

Nicki is a very friendly and attentive host, always happy to have fun and tries to ensure his guests have a nice evening. We ate there once and I ordered something and picked it up once. Very good food in good portions at reasonable prices. That wasn't our last time there.

So I usually only get on here to give a 5 star rating … if I have a bad experience at a place I walk away and never think of it again . I have given this place a 4 star they lost a star cause of the alarming way the boss treated his waitresses in from of the whole dining room… he berated them and embarrassed them and ultimately made a show of himself for everyone to see and hear … in their defense they were very understaffed front of house ..the food was very good too . I feel bad cause I think they’ve been closed a lot since the dreaded covid and last night was the first time I saw them open in ages … had to give them some custom but wasn’t impressed with the owners shouting and the waitresses embarrassment

Worst experience of my life. The boss made a very rude joke. I made a racist comment. We expressed our displeasure, but they continued to harass us. I will never visit again.

The owner is very rude. They open at 6 pm in the evening which is not published anywhere at the entrance. I reached at 5.45 pm. But they dont have curtsey to allow to sit inside. Owner is rude, pushy & in a hurry. They serve gravy dishes with rice and want to charge extra for roti or naan. Not able to customise. Being Indian I do not recommend this place.

Ich kenne das Restaurant noch von früher, war hier vielleicht vor 6 Jahren Mal und wollte es nun mit dem B-MY-Heft noch einmal besuchen. Wir waren 3 Erwachsene und 1 Kind, "durften" aber den 4 für 2 Gutschein nicht benutzen, sondern nur den 2 für 1, da keine 4 Erwachsene, ok... Haben dennoch 3 Hauptspeisen, gemischten Starter und Tandoori Hühnchen bestellt, dazu 2x Naan-Brot. Getrunken haben wir 2 Flaschen Wasser, 3 Mango-Lassi, 1 alkoholfreies Bier, eine Weinschorle und einen Saft. Das Tandoori waren nur 3 Stück Hühnchen ohne Beilage und dafür wurden 20,90€ abgerechnet. Hauptspeisen waren in Ordnung, aber nichts Überragendes. Das Essen meines Mannes war viel zu scharf und fast ungenießbar, er hat sich aber durchgekämpft. Ich hatte Garnelen, die alles andere als groß waren (In der Karte stand große Garnelen), das vegetarische Essen war das leckerste. Ich hatte schon so ein ungutes Gefühl bei der Rechnung, weil er vorher versucht hatte, uns alle zum Saufen zu animieren. Mein Mann trinkt nicht und ich bin hochschwanger. Nun wurde also unsere weibliche Begleitung belagert, der er noch einen dritten Kurzen andrehen wollte, daraufhin sagte ich ihm, dass es reicht und wir nach Hause wollen. Mein Kind wollte er auch dauernd auf den Arm nehmen, obwohl es da offensichtlich keine Lust hatte. Das vegetarische und günstigste Hauptgericht war das einzige, was er von der Rechnung genommen hat. Habe mich darauf hin beschwert und ihn damit konfrontiert, dass das Käse ist und er hat dann irgendwas geredet, von wegen es sei immer so gewesen und hat mir 10€ zurückgegeben. Uns wurden außerdem irgendwelche Videos vom Inhaber gezeigt, wo er mit den Gästen trinkt und auf Instagram folgen sollten wir ihm auch... Unsere Rechnung betrug 135€. Für dieses Geld war ich schon deutlich besser indisch essen. Und vor allem mit einem angenehmeren, unaufdringlichen, freundlicheren Service. Great food and fantastic service. The owner is super funny and gave out 3 rounds of schnapps, we had a good evening. If you don't like spicy food, you should say that you want it mild :) the standard portion is relatively spicy (for a European^^)

Were there again after a long time. And haven't regretted it. The boss himself comes to the table and greets the service very nicely, the most important thing is of course the food: highly recommended, very tasty, very good portions and everything from the starter to the dessert can be recommended without reservation.

Actually you should divide the review into 2 different areas. On the one hand there is the excellent Indian food. We had two different tandoori dishes and the meat was really top and the level of spiciness was perfect. The furnishings and atmosphere are also very nice and the price-performance ratio is okay. Up to this point, almost 5 stars. But... The end of our stay there was quite bizarre, as the owner wanted to drink 3-5 mango schnapps with all the guests. 1 free schnapps after your meal is a very nice, hospitable gesture. However, if a clearly drunk owner literally drags all the guests by their arms to the bar, drinks one shot after the other, hugs everyone uncomfortably and without being asked and wants to take selfies and the rest of the staff obviously wants to sink into the ground in shame, a limit has been crossed.

1,5 Stunden gewartet obwohl der Laden leer war und leider das Essen hat uns überhaupt nicht geschmeckt war salzig und hat kein Geschmack… Ich gehe gerne indisch essen aber sowas hatte noch nie gehabt.

Food was excellent! The portions were huge and we were able to have the rest packed away. Unfortunately only one waiter provided proper service, which is why the ordering process took forever, but he was super friendly

The owner of the restaurant was a very friendly, sincere, humorous and caring person. The food was delicious. My only criticism is that the vegetarian Samosa was a bit too oily and didn't have too many peas and carrots in it. It was filled mostly with potatoes. However, the chicken dish and basmati rice were very, very delicious. The restaurant owner offered us shots after our meal.

The food was solid, but I still can't recommend the restaurant. There were two of us and we were harassed and groped quite a bit by the owner (arms, shoulders, hips, constantly taking photos). If you complained you were then insulted. The mango schnapps, which is often mentioned in other comments, was probably already well filled up, because we later noticed that a main course had not been charged for. It was fine again, because the gourmet block was not accepted. "Next time." It won't exist for us. We felt incredibly uncomfortable.

Das Essen war super lecker, der Wirt super freundlich. Alles in allem ein perfekter Abend. Wir können das Bombay Palace nur empfehlen.

Sehr leckeres Essen, gut gewürzt bis scharf auch bei nicht scharfen Gerichten (für deutsche Verhältnisse). Reis war ein bisschen trocken. Sehr netter Inhaber der gerne einen Absacker mit einem trinkt und gute Laune verbreitet :) Es gibt eine sehr große Auswahl an Currys mit Lamm, Fisch, Hühnchen und vegetarisch. Also ist für jeden was dabei.

The owner was a bit pushy and too clingy with all guests. He forced ordered a still water as can be seen in some other reviews. The atmosphere was ok and the food was average. As an Indian, I would not recommend this place. We were in a rush to catch the bus and he added wrong items in the bill and we ended up overpaying. Not worth a visit. There are better places to go to in Frankfurt for Indian food. (Visited on 9-Dec 2023)

Wir hatten uns auf ein sehr schönes Date Night mit meiner Frau gefreut, aber leider haben uns die Kritiken getäuscht. Das Restaurant ist sehr schön eingerichtet mit Tischdecke und schöne Kerzen, aber leider mussten wir sehr darunter leider, dass das Essen ewig gedauert hat und das Service überfordert war. Als das Essen kam (nach mehr als eine Stunde) war es kalt, unglaublich und nicht wirklich, was man für eine Lamb Korma erwartet (zu wenig geschmack). Gemüse Eintopf war noch schlechter, mit klar gefrorenes Gemüse und zu wenig Kochzeiten. Am Ende waren wir etwas sauer und mussten nochmal 20 Minuten zahlen um zu zahlen. Der Chef wollte uns aber ein Mango Schnapps anbieten und alles gut machen. Wirklich geschmacklos und befremdlich... obwohl einige Gäste Ihr Spaß daran hatten, auch wenn sie stundenlang auf das Essen gewartet hatten. Na ja, vielleicht es ist etwas für Leute, die ein kostenlosen Schnapps möchten, nachdem sie 35-45€ pro Person ausgegeben haben.
