Great food, exceptional service, and a cozy and relaxed atmosphere. We spent the entire evening here and felt very comfortable. Wide selection, good quality, and warm service.

India goes Sachsenhausen. The food is excellent, with high quality and finely balanced taste. There is a wide selection of different dishes. We had a quite substantial starter and three different main courses, all with completely different flavors and all deliciously prepared. Nicki, the chef, made sure everything was okay, created a fun atmosphere, and fulfilled all our wishes. The warming racks allowed us to eat in peace, and the portions stayed hot until the end. We had a wonderful evening and really enjoyed our visit! Many thanks to Bonbay Palace. We would love to come back.

The Bombay Palace was on our list for a long time due to the very good reviews and last Friday we finally managed to visit the restaurant. Unfortunately we were massively disappointed. First of all - kudos to the owner, who managed the service including drinks the whole evening with an average of 15 tables all by himself - not everyone can do that. But this also meant that everything felt a little more stressful, took longer and the used glasses piled up in high towers on the counter behind us. His appearance was a bit shabby (holey jeans that hung way too low) and somehow we didn't quite warm to his sense of humor. The decoration is a bit macabre in places (wooden figures with oversized breasts) and you only get shiny polyester napkins. 🤷🏼‍♂️ On the culinary side: The lamb tikka masala sauce was good, but the meat was extremely hard and tough, riddled with tendons and simply inedible, so we unfortunately had to complain about it. Since I was in the mood for lamb, I thought I couldn't go wrong with the Seekh Kebab, but you could also taste the poor quality of the minced meat because it was also full of tendons. Ice-cold samosas were served at the table next door, which were also complained about, so it doesn't seem to have been an isolated incident in our case. I therefore cannot understand the 4.8 stars and therefore unfortunately cannot recommend the Bombay Palace with the best will in the world.

We discovered this restaurant through the voucher book and had an amazing experience! The food was absolutely delicious, and the owner, Nico, was incredibly friendly, making us feel very welcome. The service was quick, and we really appreciated the little details, like the warm plates. We tried the butter chicken, lamb Bombay, and mango lassi—all of which were fantastic! The mango lassi, in particular, was especially delicious. In my opinion, this is the best Indian restaurant in Frankfurt! Highly recommend this place!

Absolutely authentic cuisine. The two of us dined on a weekday and the food and service were excellent. The boss serves the guests personally and is a passionate restaurateur. The best Indian restaurant in Frankfurt in terms of quality and taste. A real heartfelt recommendation!!!

We spontaneously visited the restaurant on a Friday evening without a reservation. We were lucky and a place could be organized for us (so the recommendation is to reserve a place). The food was very tasty and the portions were very large. The service was also very good and attentive. The service was very funny and the highlight for us was the mango schnapps at the end. We'd love to come back! A chance visit turned out to be a real stroke of luck!

If you want to lose weight, come here. You wait 2 hours for your food and when your appetite is gone, the cold food comes with a deadly spiciness. My “Garlic” also ran away from the Garlic Naan. Finally, I can add that you don't receive an apology for this impudence, but rather a "🤨". This is the quickest way to lose your appetite and therefore you can lose weight quickly. #neveragain ❌

We were there for New Year's Eve dinner and were warmly greeted by the restaurant owner Mickie. There was a buffet. A selection of three vegetarian and three meat dishes (Tika Marsala, Curry and Venison). Plus Nan bread and fried dumplings. The food was very good and had a pleasant spiciness. For my taste it could have been a little hotter. The prices are reasonable and the service is special. The restaurant is definitely worth a visit!

We have been coming to the Bombay Palace for our Advent dinner as a group of friends for several years. Delicious dishes (our favorites are Butter Chicken, Chicken Vindaloo and Chicken Tikka Masala) and, above all, Nicky's great service always give us a wonderful evening and fun times. The restaurant is within walking distance from the local train station.

The Bombay Palace is definitely our favorite Indian restaurant in Frankfurt. The enjoyment begins as soon as you sit down at the stylishly set table with the fine cloth napkins. The extensive menu full of delicacies always makes it difficult to make a decision. But no matter what you ultimately order, it always tastes delicious. No matter what we ate here (and we tried quite a few), we were never disappointed. The price is also absolutely right. A clear recommendation!
