We spontaneously visited the restaurant on a Friday evening without a reservation. We were lucky and a place could be organized for us (so the recommendation is to reserve a place). The food was very tasty and the portions were very large. The service was also very good and attentive. The service was very funny and the highlight for us was the mango schnapps at the end. We'd love to come back! A chance visit turned out to be a real stroke of luck!

If you want to lose weight, come here. You wait 2 hours for your food and when your appetite is gone, the cold food comes with a deadly spiciness. My “Garlic” also ran away from the Garlic Naan. Finally, I can add that you don't receive an apology for this impudence, but rather a "🤨". This is the quickest way to lose your appetite and therefore you can lose weight quickly. #neveragain ❌

We were there for New Year's Eve dinner and were warmly greeted by the restaurant owner Mickie. There was a buffet. A selection of three vegetarian and three meat dishes (Tika Marsala, Curry and Venison). Plus Nan bread and fried dumplings. The food was very good and had a pleasant spiciness. For my taste it could have been a little hotter. The prices are reasonable and the service is special. The restaurant is definitely worth a visit!

We have been coming to the Bombay Palace for our Advent dinner as a group of friends for several years. Delicious dishes (our favorites are Butter Chicken, Chicken Vindaloo and Chicken Tikka Masala) and, above all, Nicky's great service always give us a wonderful evening and fun times. The restaurant is within walking distance from the local train station.

The Bombay Palace is definitely our favorite Indian restaurant in Frankfurt. The enjoyment begins as soon as you sit down at the stylishly set table with the fine cloth napkins. The extensive menu full of delicacies always makes it difficult to make a decision. But no matter what you ultimately order, it always tastes delicious. No matter what we ate here (and we tried quite a few), we were never disappointed. The price is also absolutely right. A clear recommendation!

Unfortunately, where it says “Bombay Palace” it doesn’t always have Bombay in it! Anyone who has ever been to India has probably fallen in love with the wonderful curries, whose taste is incomparable. Unfortunately, there wasn't much left of this taste experience at Bombay Palace. We ordered Butter Chicken and Chicken Tikka Masala – two of the most popular Indian dishes. But instead of a culinary highlight, what awaited us was chicken in a bland tomato sauce that was reminiscent of ready-made products from the supermarket. The Garlic Naan was simultaneously burnt and doughy, with barely a hint of garlic. Everything was served carelessly prepared. The rating of 4.7 is therefore a mystery to me.

Great Indian Restaurant! The Chicken Biryani and Garlic Naan were incredibly tasty and the liquor rounded off the meal perfectly. Nicky and his team are super warm and ensure a pleasant atmosphere. Absolutely recommended!

Very tasty, fresh, traditional food in a nice atmosphere in a central location. We had 2 tandoori dishes and the mixed starter plate. I can recommend all three dishes. We were able to get a second helping of rice at no extra charge. Nicky and his colleagues offer excellent service, from warm plates to fresh cutlery for the main course to mango schnapps after the meal 😃

Simply fantastic! My visit to Bombay Palace was a real taste experience. The Butter Chicken I tried here was incredibly tender, perfectly seasoned and had a deliciously creamy sauce that just melted in your mouth. You can tell that Ashwani Kumar (“Nicky”) and his team work with a lot of love and care – the food tastes authentic and fresh. The atmosphere is cozy and invites you to enjoy the evening in peace. Nicky makes every guest feel welcome and the entire team is super attentive and friendly. For lovers of Indian cuisine, the Bombay Palace is truly a top address in Frankfurt. I will definitely come back – absolute recommendation!

Spontaneously walked in on vacation. I am a chef myself and know a bit about Indian cuisine. We were warmly welcomed by the boss personally. The food was prepared and served very freshly and in a reasonable time. If you like something spicy, you should stop by here. But be careful, there is European hot and Indian hot. Make your choice carefully. For me it was excellent. Will eat here again next time.

Auf Empfehlung von Freunden sind wir am Sonntag ins Bombay Palace Essen gegangen und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Ich entschied mich für das zweite Gericht mit den großen Garnelen auf der Karte (leider habe ich den Namen vergessen) und bat darum, es weniger scharf zu bekommen. Was mir dann serviert wurde, übertraf meine Erwartungen bei weitem: Das Gericht war so aromatisch, wie ich es bisher bei keinem anderen indischen Restaurant erlebt hatte. Nicki, der Inhaber, hat eine herzliche und lockere Art und wir wurden sehr nett und zuvorkommen bedient. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Located on the edge of the apple wine district, a great alternative to ribs with cabbage...😎 The food was really high quality and plentiful, but also really spicy. Service from the boss was a bit slow and, contrary to many reviews, a bit cold. Quite a long wait for second drinks, but I appreciate the nice atmosphere…

Ich hatte schonmal eine Rezension auf Google geschrieben, weil der Inhaber (Nick) sehr unfreundlich zu meiner Frau war. Vor kurzem musste ich feststellen dass die Rezension gelöscht wurde. Eine neue kann ich auch nicht hochladen. Anscheinend ist der gute Mann nicht kritikfähig und lässt schlechte Kommentare löschen. Das ist sind unprofessionell und zeugt nicht von Größe.

Even though the kitchen had already closed, we were still welcomed and “spoiled”. The food was impeccable and the host was extremely funny and hospitable. Nikki, thank you very much for all the delicious nightcaps :)

Very friendly service from the boss himself. Good chance of getting a seat as it's not very crowded. Mango lassi and naan highly recommended. Our dishes were ok, but the poultry meat could have been a little higher quality and the vegetables could have been crunchier and tastier. (Ingredients bought too cheaply or frozen?) Price performance is ok. Recommended if you want a quick Indian meal. If it's going to be a special evening, then maybe choose a different restaurant.

Indian food is always good for us. Now we're off to the Bombay Palace. Here the boss greets and serves you personally. Table right by the window, very nice. The menu reads well and there is something for everyone. The food was really great and there is nothing to complain about. One point is deducted for cleanliness. Unfortunately, the tablecloth and the cloth napkin had several curry stains and the knife looked as if it had been used as a tool. But that won't stop us from visiting again.

This is the first ever review I’ve given online. Feels more like a warning. One positive about this place is that I can now safely say when and where I’ve had my worst dining experience Started with a bit of casual harassment from the owner making weird jokes/innuendos to my friend. As for the food see below: Popadoms and selected sauces - have never had popadoms like this .. really peppery and over spiced and served with 3 sauces one of which was palatable the other were not .. don’t know what the craic is there Sharing starter - overall textures were awful. Don’t know they were stuffed with but it was like eating pladough Korma - bland and didn’t really taste like korma lacked the sweetness and when I brought this up with the owner he said “korma isn’t really for men” Butter chicken - best of a bad bunch Rice - again was ok but you can’t get rice bad Naan - greasy and lacking flavour Jalfreizi - flavours were all off The general atmosphere was strange as well.. when the owner saw that we hadn’t finished the starters he made us feel uncomfortable and almost forced to us to say it was nice. €124 this cost us between 3 people .. not worth a fraction of it. Was a bizarre and almost funny evening but the bottom line is that this is overpriced and not worth your time or money

If you like Indian food, I can only highly recommend Bombay Palace! There is a really great selection of Indian dishes of special quality. We always like to go to the Bombay Palace because we simply like it there the best. You can feel that the innkeeper really cares about the well-being of his guests. It's always a pleasant atmosphere and we'd love to come back.
