Very good food, large selection, not too spicy, fast service

I'm pregnant and wanted to go to the toilet and wasn't allowed. Very unfriendly here. We then decided to eat.

Rude staff, as well as unreasonable treatment, we asked for 2€ to use the toilet, which was unbelievable, so we changed our mind and went to eat at the top dog, much friendlier and better treatment.

We ordered home. The food arrived hot and delivery didn't take long. Both dishes (chicken and lamb) were tasty, good quantities and everything was well seasoned. We would like to eat in the restaurant next time and enjoy the view of the Main.

The food is always very good. Today I received the first email in three years with a complaint about the delivery. The problem was resolved immediately, professionally and friendly. A top address, clear recommendation.

Top Indian. Very tasty food and prices are ok. It's wonderful to sit outside in the summer. OK inside too. We usually have it delivered to your home, sometimes it takes forever, but everything is warm and well packaged

The best Indian food I had in Germany so far! The meat is soft and tender. The staff are nice and friendly, and they have a nice terrace to sit outside. If the Butter chicken was less sweet it would be perfect but other than that it was great.

They have big terrace in front of the river, although not directly along the water but close enough. Food is authentic and tasty, price is also ok based on current economy, but the portion could be bigger…

Tasty Indian restaurant. Service can be improved i.e we ordered alcohol free beer which was served to the neighbors, took ages to pay. Food was ok but not great and a bit too expensive.

I can't judge the food. Today I was at a celebration in the neighboring Borussia (excellent Frankfurt cuisine). It was impossible to have a conversation with the other guests because of the booming bass that echoed from the Main Curry House. At least five of us asked one after the other to turn the music down a little - to no avail. We value the rowing clubs' restaurants as beloved local institutions. But if there is a rotten (inconsiderately loud) apple in the basket, that too will be lost

Booming Indian music with no regard for the neighborhood. The cozy atmosphere on the river banks and in the beer gardens is a thing of the past. Doesn't fit here.

One of the best Indian places I have visited so far. Very good quality! Portions (rather small) and price above average, but the quality is absolutely legitimate!

Everything tastes super delicious

It's very beautiful there. Especially in summer, with the outdoor terrace and view of the Main you can't beat it. Large selection of delicious Indian food, our waitress knew in advance what we wanted 🙃🙂 and always with a laugh. Thank you for the lovely evening.

The restaurant is located right by the river and has a very soothing atmosphere. However, that is the only positive thing about the restaurant. The service is very relaxed and the food is below average. We ordered chai, kadhi pakoda, malai kofta and palak paneer and all dishes were not made to Indian standards. As someone who grew up with Indian food, I can for sure say that the food was not authentic or flavourful. Would recommend for ambience, but not for the food.

On a sunny day... On the Main... A nice place for an Indian meal. The service is fast and friendly, sometimes it seems a bit too relaxed. We had a grill platter and a vegetarian meal as well as samosa. Everything tastes good and spicy, not so spicy but more aromatic. However, there is a bit more detail to go into The seating on the terrace outside is nice and you can easily watch the lively goings-on on the banks of the Main. We were there by bike, while there are enough parking spaces on weekdays, it gets very tight on a sunny day. Overall, a nice thing for sunny days.

One of the worst experience I ever had ordering food, after starving for 12 hours and having such food is really disappointing. I ordered Chicken Korma !!! The Cook doesn't have any knowledge about the food. This Curry was extremely sweet and no taste at all, it was not at all edible. Worst food ever . Dont ever waste your money ordering from here They dont have any taste its literally sugar gravy waste of money no salt no taste just sweet Worst experience 0 rating if there's a rating below that they don't even deserve 0

Food wonderful. Waiter wanted to misunderstand us a bit in order to sell more products, but after that was clarified, very nice staff. The ambience at the rowing village is always great, especially when the weather is good.

We visited this restaurant recently for lunch. Some of the positives were: Great ambience (lovely river view), free and available parking right outside the restaurant, kind and friendly staff and quick service. The food is good too but some of the dishes were not fully to our liking. Chicken Vindaloo and Lamb curry were great, Tomato soup and prawn soup were delicious, naan and paneer was super fresh. But both methi Paneer and Malai kofta were way too sweet. The kofta felt like gulab jamun ball in gravy. The assorted starter platter had one single tiny piece of chicken, cut into two pieces and overall it seemed insufficient when served to a group (less value for money). We gave our feedback to the restaurant owner and they were quite happy to take the feedback and make the necessary changes. Overall a nice and pleasant experience in this restaurant. Would definitely like to visit again in summer for the great ambience ad lovely views.

We ordered there twice via the homepage. The first time we ordered, the food was delivered exactly at the time requested, unfortunately 2 of the 4 starters we had already paid for were missing. After a phone call we were told that we would get this for free next time. The next time I ordered, again via the homepage, the delivery time stated was one hour. After almost two hours we called to ask. We were told that there was no order and that we should have contacted us by phone. When ordering online? After some back and forth the food was delivered. Unfortunately, the two starters were missing again. We will therefore refrain from placing orders for the time being.

We had chicken tikka massala and butter chicken and it was delicious! The service was friendly and very attentive. All in all recommended!

We've been there twice in the evening to play skat. The food is very tasty and the selection is very large. The staff is very friendly and attentive. There's also a mango lassi on the house. Very good Indian cuisine at very fair prices! Any time!

The food is very often delivered incorrectly. The wrong food was delivered and when we wanted to return it we were told why we ordered through Lieferando. There was no solution and no excuse.

Mittagstisch war gut und preiswert. Ohne Schnörkel auf einer Platte serviert. Hähnchen Vindaloo, pikant aber nicht wirklich scharf. Die Gerichte außerhalb der Mittagskarte sahen optisch etwas ausgefeilter aus, aber ok, mehr kann man bei einem günstigen Mittagessen wohl nicht verlangen.

Essen ist sehr lecker! Der Service ist auch immer sehr freundlich. Manchmal sind die Wartezeiten ein wenig länger. Draußen sitzt man ganz schön. Das Ambiente drinnen solide, aber noch Luft nach oben. ;)

My wife Julie, and myself, had the privilege of meeting Akass, the bar tender, who spoke excellent English and steered us through the process of ordering meals and drinks that were good and tasty. The prices are fair and the service wonderful. Akass, made this a great experience in our travels through Europe and we highly recommend this establishment.

Obwohl nur 7 Tische besetzt sind und zwei Service Leute die Gäste betreuen, dauert es ewig bis man die Karte bekommt und weitere Minuten, bis man bedient wird. Die Freundlichkeit lässt auch zu wünschen übrig. Und wenn man deswegen nicht groß Trinkgeld gibt, dann bekommt man nicht einmal ein Danke und wird mit einem leicht verachtenden Blick abgestraft. Super. So gewinnt man neue Gäste 👍🏻 Ganz schrecklich : die Musik auf der Terrasse. Eine Art "Richard Clayderman" was die ganze Zeit im Hintergrund trällert.

Der Service war zuvorkommend und sehr freundlich. Das Essen war perfekt, tolle Würze und große Auswahl, vor allem auch eine sehr große Auswahl an vegetarischen Gerichten! Perfekter Abend für leckeres indisches Essen.

Das ist das beste indische Restaurant im Rhein- / Main Gebiet. Das Ambiente ist ein Traum. Das Essen unvergesslich lecker. Der Service ist ebenfalls super. Ingesamt würde ich am liebsten diesem Restaurant 10 Sterne geben.

Waren heute zum ersten Mal im Main Curry House und richtig begeistert. Die Kellner alle sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und aufmerksam. Das Essen einfach nur richtig gut. Wir haben draußen sehr schön und gemütlich gesessen, drinnen ist es eher schlicht, nicht wirklich indisch eingerichtet. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, but if you know Indian food, don’t bother. A single papar was served not prior to the dishes but with everything. The masala, instead of being served with the papar, was spread over the papar so when it reached the table it was a soggy mess. The chicken tandoori had been marinated for a few minutes before cooking. It tasted if almost nothing. Palak paneer war a little better, but neutral in flavour. If you like Indian food give this place a miss.

Walked in almost near sunset, its location is beautiful and serene with an open and internal seating. Seating is ample and the external seating overlooks the river Maine. The waiters are well taught with excellent connect with the customers. The menu is well spread with a variety of liquor (You will find Kingfischer & Old Monk too). I ordered a vegetarian thali in anticipation that almost all the vegetable preparations can be tasted and believe you me that they did not disappoint. If they could provide 2 nans instead of rice as an option it could be good. First naan was not served hot but its OK. The owner/manager walked over and greeted with smile enquiring the quality of food. Over all a good experience and would be tempted to repeat.

Wir haben bestellt, nach ca einer Stunde war das Essen warm bei uns und wir konnten mit Karte zahlen. Die Portion war reichlich und hat locker gereicht! Mein Mann hat leer gegessen, bei mir ist was übergeblieben, weil einfach zu viel für mich. Es war lecker gewürzt, ich hab tatsächlich etwas schärfer erwartet :) Der Minz-Joghurt? Da alle Restaurants in der Umgebung keinen Platz anboten sind wir zu Main Curry spaziert. Sehr angenehme Serviceangestellte. Grosse Auswahl an Gerichten wo wir allerdings keine Ahnung hatten. Haben eine super Beratung gekriegt und es hat sich sehr gelohnt. Tolles Essen und unschlagbare Aussicht auf Frankfurt im Sonnenuntergang!

Die Bedienung war freundlich. Wir hatten vorweg Papadam - das man typisch mit drei Dips kennt. So kam es auch. Allerdings waren alle drei extrem mild und der eigentlich typische Minzdip schmeckte künstlich. Die Hauptspeise - einmal Lamm mit (auf der Karte angegebenem) scharfen Curry und einmal Thali war ok - das Fleisch zart, und geschmacklich in Ordnung aber überhaupt nicht indisch. Das Dhal war regelrecht langweilig. Aber alles durchweg ließ die klassischen indischen Aromen vermissen. Wir sprachen die Bedienung darauf an und man erklärte uns, dass sie das machen würden, weil es sonst den Gästen zu scharf sei… aber dass es auch gar nicht indisch schmeckte erklärt das ja nicht. Wir jedenfalls gehen eher nicht mehr hin.
