Nityanand has good food in general. Service is also amazing. However some of chicken dishes has chicken that is separately boiled and then added to the Curry, for e.g. Butter Chicken and in this case chicken doesnt have taste ..Curry is good though.

I didn't know the restaurant before and was excited to see what awaited us. What should I write... It was relaxed, all the staff were courteous, and the food was really tasty. The ambience isn't a highlight, but it's about the food and it was really good & recommended.

We ordered from Wolt today. Delivery was very quick, but 5 stars. Unfortunately there are 0 stars for the food. We had Chicken Tika Masala, which was unfortunately more like a tomato soup, chicken Biranyi, which was unfortunately tasteless and bland, and a Garlic Naan, which was more like a pancake. It's a shame because the recessions before were all very good.

One of the best Indian food we have had in Frankfurt. Particularly, the Shahi Panneer we had was outstandingly delicious. The service was very friendly and attentive and the prices are reasonable too. Will definitely repeat and highly recommend.

A very good Indian restaurant! The Naan is authentic and much better than elsewhere, the dishes are of very good quality and the boss is very welcoming.

I live in London, so I often eat excellent Indian food, but this hidden hotel restaurant makes the best paneer I've had in a LONG time. Hammer. Definitely try it, 5/5.

Unfortunately rather disappointing. I ordered butter chicken today with a 2 for 1 offer and unfortunately received 2 fairly small portions. The butter chicken was also not tender like other Indian restaurants, but seemed more like browned chicken was thrown into the sauce rather than marinated in it.

So good I couldn’t stop to take photos! Had the chicken Noorani, unique and delicious - not spicy but still of rich flavour. Can’t recommend enough.

We have ordered from Nithyanand many times and the food has been perfectly seasoned every time. The portions are very large, sometimes enough for a second meal the next day.

Unfortunately, we cannot understand all the good reviews. The food is okay, but nothing more. All the dishes we had lacked the spices and pep that you expect from Indian food. The masala chai was also rather bland. The restaurant atmosphere wasn't nice either. The shop looks untidy, the tablecloths were stained. All in all, pretty average and far from really good Indian food.

I had something to eat delivered. Murgh Palak (chicken in a spinach sauce) and Lassi Dry with almonds and cashews. The food was very tasty and the portion was very generous and the suppliers were friendly. They packed extra bread for me again. Price performance ratio is very good and it tastes very good. Definitely recommended.

With so many positive reviews, we wanted to take a look. Service excellent, atmosphere a bit 90s but very clean. Starter fried shrimp with 3 dips. 5 stars for that alone. Main courses lamb with hot pepper sauce and chicken with mango. Meat was so incredibly tender, sauces were absolutely amazing. For dessert we had the cheese balls with milk - surprisingly good. In short, one of the best Indian food ever, absolute recommendation ❤️

Absolutely fantastic authentic Indian food! We had hara naan, regular naan, bhindi masala with okra and eggplant bharta (grilled eggplant and peas). The service was very attentive and quick. The terrace is nice and quiet to sit on.

Spinat with Potato—a hearty and comforting dish that seamlessly combined spinach creamy with potatoes, creating a harmony of textures and tastes. The subtle spices elevated the dish, adding depth without overpowering the natural flavors. To round off our dining experience, we savored the Sweet Carrot Hawa with indian chai—a delightful sweet treat that left a lasting impression. The natural sweetness of the carrots, combined with aromatic spices, created a decadent dessert that was both comforting and satisfying. Our Waiter Raju made our visit extremely pleasant. We can recommend this place to everyone who wantes a taste of India.

Particularly noteworthy is the great, courteous service and the free option to reorder bread and rice if there is not enough. The restaurant's ambience is also attractively furnished and not overloaded with decorations. Absolutely recommended and an insider tip in Ostend!

Nithyanand Indian Tandoori Restaurant is a hidden gem tucked away in a humble hotel. Hardly noticeable from the outside, it only reveals itself to those who draw attention to its inconspicuous sign. But once you step through the door, a world of culinary delights opens up. The interior may seem old-fashioned, but that doesn't detract from the taste experience. Unfortunately it is also very empty inside in the evening, but you will be served quicker this way hehe. :) My partner and I visited the restaurant twice and both times were impressed by the warmth of the owners and the quality of the food. On our first visit we chose the set menu and we were not disappointed. The portions were generous and we were more than full. The food was delicious and varied, and the value for money was unbeatable. The owners were patient and attentive and made us feel at home. On the second visit we decided to order à la carte, and although our selection wasn't entirely to our liking, that was by no means due to the preparation or quality of the food. Nevertheless, we were extremely satisfied with the service and the value for money. Overall, I can recommend the Nithyanand Indian Tandoori Restaurant to anyone who is in the mood for Indian food. It may be hidden, but its authenticity and quality make it a must for Indian food lovers.

The restaurant is in the hotel. We were there in the evening, around 9:30 p.m. It was very well attended. The staff was very friendly! The food was really delicious - I've never had Indian food as good as there. A true pearl. I can only recommend it to everyone.

Halal restaurant in the area. One of the best Indian food I have had. Nice family restaurant served by the mother. I like that the food portion is big and enough for even 3 people to share one plate. Had the Lamp Biriani, Butter chicken with garlic nan, all very delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area or Frankfurt in general. It’s inside the hotel but you won’t be lost. Thank you for the food and kind service.

I actually thought it will be overrated with the 4.9 stars, but it 100% deserves it. I was alone and I got the samosa, some bread (forgot the name) filled with cheese and peaz and the vegetable Biryani. Absolutely delicious, all of them. Biryani is definitely a very good portion which is rare in indian restaurants I feel. Samosa is amazing, I don't usually like fried food, but you cannot really taste the oiliness of it only the deliciousness. Totally worth it and amazing! And you can obviously take the leftovers and get excited about them again the next day! Also very good service and nice staff, one can enjoy the meal best when people around you are cheerful and friendly! Definitely to try. Thank you!!

Hidden Gem! Wohne in der Nähe, aber habs nie hingeschafft und endlich gewagt und absolut nicht bereut. Köstliche Gerichte mit riesen Portionen zum fairen Preis. Absolutes Highlight: Chicken Chilli Masal und Lassi (Mango oder Banane). Sogar Gruß des Hauses kam und war köstlich! Alles schon scharf, daher lieber nach weniger Schärfe fragen, wer es nicht allzu pikant mag. Klare Empfehlung, wir kommen wieder!

This was the best Indian food I’ve ever had, as someone who has travelled through many countries and being an Indian myself lol. The drinks were so well priced, the staff were so kind and considerate, the vibes were immaculate. Definitely would return to Frankfurt, just to visit this restaurant again. The food was 10/10.

Sehr gute und günstige Mittagsgerichte, mit ausreichend Reis und Naan. Leider war das "scharfe" Lammgericht nicht wirklich scharf, hat aber dennoch sehr gut geschmeckt. Service ist sehr freundlich und fix, auch wenn viel los war.

Super leckeres Essen! Alles frisch zubereitet und perfekt gewürzt. Die Minz-Limonade wurde mit frisch gepressten Zitronen zubereitet und ist eine echte Empfehlung. Die Bedienung war hervorragend. Uns wurden stets Gerichte aus der Karte erklärt und Empfehlungen ausgesprochen. Alles in Allem ein wirklich toller Abend. Kann ich nur empfehlen.

Das Essen ist sehr lecker (wir hatten Chicken Tikka Masala, Garlic Naan und ein Auberginen Curry) und der Service ist auch sehr gut. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist Spitze, wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

First things first, the restaurant is inside the Plaza Hotel.. so just look for sign boards when you reach the location as per Google or just call the restaurant… Trust me, the food wont disappoint you. We ordered some cocktails and Dal makhani with 2 garlic naans. It was one of the tastiest Dal we had in Germany. The staff is humble, polite and really friendly. They serve everything with smile and loads of flavor. Its a must try for Indian food lovers if you are in the neighborhood.. 5 ⭐️ and 5 ❤️ for @NithyanandIndischeTandoori..

Excellent meal ! The best Indian restaurant I have ever eaten. One tip now it’s really hot we don’t have fans for cooling down. But it worth just sweatering. The service is a bit slow though but all curries are freshly made. We think it worth waiting. Thank you! The boss there are very kind person.
