The food and service were second to none. It was truly a superb evening with fantastic food and charming service that I will definitely remember. The prices are steep, but in the end, the food is worth every penny.

The menu offers a great selection of seafood and lamb dishes, all perfectly cooked and full of authentic flavor. From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed by Süme, whose wonderful smile instantly makes you feel at home as she kindly shows you to your table. A truly warm and memorable welcome. A special mention also goes to Roberto, incredibly professional and knowledgeable. He guided us through the menu with excellent recommendations, helping us choose the very best dishes. Excellent cuisine, inspired by Turkish cuisine. The extensive fish counter with its exquisite fresh fish is particularly recommended. Lamb and vegetarian specialties are also available. Delicious starters, fantastic main courses, and typical Turkish desserts, combined with a good wine list, invite you to enjoy a quality meal. The service is very attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. The chef serves and sometimes fillets the fish herself.

What used to be an acceptable price-performance ratio has unfortunately gotten out of hand. Too expensive for the quality.

A real gem in Essen! The Tablo restaurant completely convinced me. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the service incredibly attentive and friendly. But the absolute highlight was the freshly caught, grilled sea bream - perfectly prepared, crispy on the outside, wonderfully juicy on the inside and full of flavor. You can taste the freshness and high quality of the ingredients! The side dishes were also excellently coordinated and rounded off the taste experience perfectly. If you want to enjoy excellent Turkish cuisine, this is the right place for you. I'll definitely be back!

Culinary excellence and outstanding service.

Wat een heerlijke gerechten, deze keer wilde gamba's gekozen van de 'verse' kaart. Een paar maanden geleden vegetarisch gerecht met oesterzwammen gehad. Fantasierijk, vers eten in een ontspannen sfeer, met vriendelijke bediening.

Nach längerer Zeit wieder einmal ein Besuch im Rahmen des Restaurant-Karussell Frühjahr. Der erste Gang war eine Katastrophe, jede Menge Kichererbsenpüree mit ein paar Salatblättchen, 3 Zwiebelringen, 2 kleinen Tomatenhälften, Granatapfelkernen, ein wenig Dressing und 3 knusprigen Brotscheibchen. Der Hummus hat alles geschmaklich total zugedeckt und die Menge hätte für einen Hauptgang gereicht. Der zweite Gang Spitzmorcheln im Teigmantel und Pilzpüree war geschmacklich wirklich gut wenn auch ein kleinwenig überpfeffert. Der Hauptgang war auch nicht überzeugend, Lammschulter, Auberginenpüree und gefüllte Zucchini. Die Lammschulter war total tot gekocht, leider. Der Nachtisch war OK. Empfehlung an die Küche, bitte authentische türkische Küche, da liegt die Kernkompetenz.

I've known the store for over 20 years and have always enjoyed going there. After a long break we were finally there again. The menu is a little shorter than before, but the wine list is twice as long. Cuisine and service top as always. However, I no longer find the price level suitable for me. The store was never cheap. It doesn't have to be for what's on offer, but at some point the price is good. I have no problem paying good money for good food. Compared to other good Turkish restaurants, it felt 10% better but 50% more expensive. It seems that they only target very well-heeled customers. Which is of course okay and legitimate. Since I personally come from a good middle class background, I will think twice about visiting the store again in the future. Otherwise everything is really great. As long as the prices are not an issue, I can always recommend the store.

We were there for dinner for the first time today and have only heard good things about this restaurant. Unfortunately we left really disappointed. Starting with the receptionist who accompanied us to the table, but didn't accept our coat. The guests at the next table were asked about the coat rack immediately after they were escorted to the table; apparently guests are not treated equally here. After the starter we had to wait another 45 minutes for the main course. Unfortunately no one really looked after our table; the main course only came when we asked. We would have liked the employees to take more care of the tables and keep an eye on how far the guests are and ask nicely whether we are missing something and whether we are satisfied. These points should be taken into account in this price category!

Wir waren mit ca 40 Personen zum Abendessen nach einer Tagung dort. Das Essen wurde in Buffetform im Keller serviert. Das Essen war viel zu wenig und hatte maximal Kantinenniveau. Es waren weder ausreichend einheitliche Biergläser noch einheitliche Teller vorhanden. Der Service war uninspiriert und schleppend. Echt eine Enttäuschung. Werde nicht wieder hingehen.

I've been to this restaurant three times now and I'm thrilled every time! The meat always tastes the same. The atmosphere is great and the employees are super friendly and often up for a little joke. I find it particularly pleasant that people don't look at you wrong here if you don't drink alcohol. Instead, the Cola is charmingly served in a wine glass. The prices are a bit higher, but understandable for the quality of the meat. The starters didn't entirely convince me, perhaps because I know the cuisine well due to my Turkish roots. Nevertheless, a lot of attention is paid to cleanliness and order, which I appreciate. You can tell that the team attaches importance to maintaining high quality over time. All in all, a highly recommended restaurant for anyone who wants to enjoy Turkish cuisine and a nice atmosphere.

The food was very tasty and the service was exceptionally good. The staff at the resturante was very, very attentive. Without it being explicitly stated in advance that it was someone at the table's birthday, the restaurant staff recognized this and congratulated the birthday child and served a small special dessert! Tablo's atmosphere is very nice and suitable for a fancy dinner. The service is polite and the menu is straightforward, with fish, meat and a few vegetarian dishes. Our starters tasted great. The side dishes for the main courses were also well cooked. Unfortunately we didn't like a few things: - My partner and I both had fish and I have to say I expected more for the price. Unfortunately the trout and the turbot tasted like nothing. Unfortunately you have to say that. - Our waiter was nice but also pushy. If I say that I don't want to order anything else, then please accept that and not try to increase the bill by annoyingly offering additional dishes. Example: We didn't want dessert. However, the waiter repeatedly offered a very small dessert, which of course was accounted for. - In our opinion, the white wine was also not billed correctly. This wasn't serious, but it was the icing on the cake for us.

Excellent restaurant. Everything super fresh. Beautifully set table and great wine recommendations. The mezes were perfect. Authentic and successful in quantity and preparation. The fish doesn't get any better in terms of taste and preparation! The Adana Kebab was still a bit missing the final point of perfection. What I mean to say is that it tastes a little better in Türkiye. All in all, no point deducted. Keep it up!

I actually like going to Tablo. I was looking forward to a nice, relaxing evening with my husband on Friday; but then it started, the high table we ordered was taken, why?? I ordered sea bass whole to fillet myself and it came with a fish fillet approx. 150 g 😂😂 with the reasoning that the individual fish would be too big for one person; at least my husband got his sole as ordered; Our starters and desserts were nothing out of the ordinary, as always OK, but then came the amazing bill, which was disproportionate to the performance. The fish alone at €100 was an outrage. I don't even want to talk about the starters and desserts, which was what I saw on the last visit 2 Months ago the price/performance ratio was still quite different; Conclusion: There are also other restaurants nearby where you as a guest won't be ripped off

AMAZINGLY delicious food!!! Best restaurant in Essen! We have been coming to the trade fair every time for 10 years and occasionally for a private meal! Simply great food in a very nice atmosphere... Location is very central, within walking distance of the opera and the train station! Starters are brilliant (don't miss the Manti, they're a dream), main courses are beautifully decorated and always taste perfectly matched... No matter whether it's chicken, beef steak or lamb! Desserts to die for! Service is always more than just TOP! “Customer is king” is lived here!!! Thank you for the many years of enjoyment, service and hospitality! Thank you! Teşekkür ederim!!!

The word “guest” is particularly important here. The food is very good, my wife tried octopus for the first time in her life and is totally thrilled. As a main course, loup de mer, very tasty. Perfect wine recommendation. If you consider the number of employees and the quality of the food, you shouldn't complain about the prices. We'll definitely be back.

Das Essen war lecker, aber es ist sehr teuer. Die Menge eines Hauptgerichtes ist so gehalten, dass eine Vorspeise oder ein Nachtisch zum satt werden benötigt wird. Dann ist man schnell bei über 70 Euro ohne Getränke. So exquisite ist das Tablo aber nicht. Der Service ist nett und ausreichend aufmerksam. Das Ambiente ist okay, es war voll, also etwas lauter.

Essen ausgezeichnet, jedoch -in meinen Augen- überteuert. Portionen auch recht übersichtlich. Wir waren an einem Samstagabend dort und die Akustik war aufgrund der Geräuschkulisse nicht optimal.

Raum ist schön. Kürbis Suppe war nicht okay weil viel Brühe und Kartoffeln Geschmack . Schade.

Essen völlig überteuert und hebt sich nicht ab von vergleichbaren Läden, welche die Hälfte verlangen. Gargrad von Fisch und Fleisch deutlich drüber. Service hat mir nen Ellbogen ins Gesicht gehauen. Insgesamt absolut nicht empfehlenswert.

Eine sehr schöne Entdeckung mit etwas anderer türkischer Küche. Wir haben dort hervorragend gespeist, sehr guten Wein genossen und sind sehr zuvorkommend bedient worden. Das Restaurant hat eine offene Küche, die erstklassige Fischvarianten bietet. Der Gastraum ist offen, und auch wenn in anderen Bewertungen von einer unangenehmen Lautstärke die Rede war, kann ich dieses nicht bestätigen. Fast alle Tische waren vollständig besetzt, wir haben uns dennoch in normaler Lautstärke unterhalten können. Vor allem das Dessert Künefe ist wärmstens ans Herz zu legen, was für eine Leckerei!

Hatten einen Gutschein bekommen und wurden (leider) erst dadurch auf das Restaurant aufmerksam. Als Anhänger der türkischen Küche, auch im Land Türkei selbst, waren wir mehr als angenehm überrascht. Obwohl ein Wochentag, war es sehr gut besucht und entsprechend lebhaft durch die vielen Gespräche. Aber wem soll man es verdenken, dass man mit KollegInnen/Geschäftspartnern in den Genuss dieser gehobenen Küche kommen möchte. Wir haben mit der kalten und warmen Vorspeise begonnen. Die eindeutig frisch zubereiteten Speisen waren ein Genuss. Das Hauptgericht war dann nochmal eine Steigerung. Gerne hätten wir noch einen Nachtisch probiert, aber dazu werden wir wohl beim nächsten Mal auf einen anderen Gang verzichten müssen. Ein nächstes Mal wird es mit Sicherheit geben. Wer sich über die Preise beschwert, der weiß Qualität nicht zu schätzen. Herzlichen Dank an das Personal(auch an die im Hintergrund(Küche)). Der Service war unaufdringlich, aber aufmerksam und ausgesprochen höflich. Auch das war eine Wohltat. Bis zum nächsten Mal

Die Apfelschorle und der Steinbutt waren gut, aber das Beilagengemüse und der kalte Vorspeisen Teller enttäuschend. Schlechtes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Ein sehr leckeres türkische Restaurant. Ich hatte einen Fischteller mit verschiedenen Fischsorten. Sehr gut gebraten und wirklich saftig. Preis sind ziemlich hoch, allerdings ist es das Essen wert.

Also wer da essen geht ist ein idiot und selber schuld. Das essen ist Okey nicht schlecht aber die Preise sind definitiv viel zu teuer frechheit und die location ist auch nicht soooo schön das es teurer sein muss. Also ich werde definitiv nicht mehr hin gehen für das Geld kriegt man viel mehr an essen und Portionen.
