Cool restaurant. Typical American food with burgers, ribs, chicken pieces etc. I had a cheeseburger and chicken tenders. Both very tasty. The furnishings are rather rustic. There was nothing wrong with the service. Depending on the time of the week and time of day, it is advisable to make a reservation.

I essentially came to the Road Stop to eat. The portions are quite large and, in my opinion, very tasty. Compared to other large cities, a good price/performance ratio. I've been coming there again and again for many years. The service is very nice and attentive.

A great shop, delicious food and a great atmosphere, unfortunately the gentleman who distributes the tables is extremely overwhelmed and very unfriendly. Lots of free tables, but he still can't keep up. That really upset our stomachs. If you would fix this detail, nothing should stand in the way of 5 stars.

The food didn't blow me away. The ribs were pretty bland and the wings were ok. The ambience is nice, typical road stop and the service was great too! Personally, it's just too expensive for me and not tasty enough.

As always, great food. Because it is always very crowded here, you should reserve a table.

We were at Road Stop for the fourth time today and even though it was very busy, we were served quickly and the food came quite quickly. We had four different dishes and everything was so delicious! It was really on point. Our waitress was great too, it was great all around!

The store is always busy. Food and drinks at reasonable prices. Everyone was happy with their dishes. Table reservations are required, especially in the evening when there are more than two guests.

Diesen Road Stop kann ich nur empfehlen. Sehr freundlich Bedienung und das Essen war sehr gut. Gemütliches Lokal mit sauberen Toiletten.

Unfortunately, I can't understand why this store is running like this!? We were there with several people and all the food was cold. But since we had waited so long for it and didn't feel like it anymore, we more or less ate it. This is the second time this has happened to us and we won't be going there again. However, the conditions were very nice. That was the only positive thing.

I always enjoy being here. It's really cozy inside and in the summer the terrace is great for a cool drink. There are very tasty ribs and the best Caesar's salad around! Unfortunately the burgers are made with frozen patties, but they are also very good!

Yes, really 5 stars in every category, I can only do it in direct comparison to Mac. notice. Or here and there with a street food cart that is already good at making hamburgers, but that in Essen is something different. The combination of over 300 grams of meat with our own sauce etc. was really great. 👍

Today I visited my favorite restaurant for the first time with my new dog. The welcome was warm. The love of animals is great, so dogs are no problem either. The Christmas decorations are particularly beautiful at the moment. Winter garden, beer garden, playground ... extensive menu and drinks, friendly service. Also suitable for vegetarians. Everything is great.

Food and staff really very good. There is a star deduction for the parking spaces. Manageable and chaotic. Unfortunately, the benches cause back pain. Still highly recommended!

The baked potato was a lukewarm jacket potato. The order came very quickly, which wasn't so good in this case because everything tasted cold to lukewarm. Taste: superficial. Dir Kola had no carbonation. All in all, the price-performance ratio is not justified.

Always worth a visit. The burgers, wings and milkshakes are great, even if they're not exactly cheap. But you can treat yourself every now and then. In summer you have problems finding a parking space; That's always a bit annoying.. but otherwise everything is great ☺️

We had our Christmas party at the Road Stop on Friday with 16 people and we really enjoyed it. Our waitress had everything in view and you never had to wait long until you had a new drink. The food came within 20-30 minutes of ordering. Great service :-) Thank you for the lovely evening with you.

The parking lot at the house was almost completely full. Nevertheless, there were still enough free spaces inside. It was pleasantly attended. The decor is rustic as desired. The spare ribs were tender, tasty, plentiful and the barbeque sauce was delicious too. The service was very nice and quick. We can easily go back here

Wir waren hier immer zum Brunch, den gibt es leider nicht mehr. Jetzt haben wir hier lecker gegessen und einen schönen 1. November mit der Familie verbracht. Es war sehr lecker. Sehr nettes und aufmerksames Personal. Es gibt ausreichend Parkplätze. Auch der Kinderspielplatz ist toll.

The selection is diverse and ranges from juicy burgers to fresh salads and hearty snacks. I would particularly like to emphasize the quality of the ingredients - everything tastes fresh and is prepared with a lot of love. The service was quick and friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for a break on the trip. The portions are generous and definitely fill you up, and the prices are absolutely fair for the quality offered. If you're passing through or just want good, uncomplicated food, Roadstop is definitely the right choice. I'd love to come back!

We had dinner there with a small group on a Wednesday evening. The service was super friendly and the food was very solid. What we were very surprised by was the volume that increased over the course of the evening due to more and more guests. Next time we would definitely sit in the winter garden, which was well heated, to have a little more peace and quiet.

As always TOP! We love being in Kettwig because the service is really great. We, 4 people, got the last table. Well, right at the door. We didn't find it particularly exciting, but we stayed. Before the food arrived, an attentive waiter directed us to a vacant table further away from the entrance. SUPER! Thanks for that. That's why we always like to come back.

It was my first time here and I have to say that you can eat very well here. The service was very friendly. And the food was pretty quick too. The prices are a bit expensive here, but we really enjoyed the food that we will come again.

I like the ambience and the style. The service was quite good. The food, fries and coleslaw, were delicious. What didn't work at all was the meat on the burgers. On the one hand, it was completely cooked through without even asking how you would like it. That would somehow still be ok, but it was extremely gristly. I wouldn't go there for burgers again.

The burgers actually don't work at all. The patty is fried to death and both the bun and the remaining ingredients are of the simplest quality. The prices are clearly too high for that. Compared to the road stop in Wuppertal, there is considerable potential for improvement in Essen.

Food OK, service attentive, friendly and fast. It's not exactly a bargain. If you don't like burgers, it will be quite expensive for a warm meal because you can or have to put them together individually. But the portions are also okay. When it's busy, it's also very loud and you can hardly have a conversation. Nevertheless, all in all recommended.

I was at the road stop again on Saturday after a long time and I have to say that nothing has changed. The food is still super tasty and the prices are acceptable. Yes, it is still super crowded there and it is advisable to reserve in advance. The background noise is also a bit louder and the parking lot is full. BUT: The food makes up for it. Therefore, the Road Stop is an absolute must for every burger and ribs lover.

We were disappointed here again after more than 10 years, but this time it was excellent, it was just very, very full, but everything worked quickly and well, nice staff. Parking situation a bit chaotic but the operator can't park anything for the drivers but for the drivers like them. Nevertheless, a successful evening and we look forward to the next time
