Swaad - The Indian taste in München

There were four of us. Every dish was different and delicious in its own way, all freshly prepared. You won't find any generic sauces here, but authentic Indian cuisine at its finest. Be sure to try the Pani Puri.

Unfortunately, the service was unsatisfactory, and the food wasn't presented nicely. I had them pack up the leftovers, and they included bones and a squeezed lemon. Very, very disappointing!

Amazing food and super friendly staff. I had a connecting train and could order food over call seamlessly and pick it up fast.

I reserved a table by phone. During the call, I was repeatedly left waiting and transferred without warning. After much back and forth between staff members, my reservation was finally confirmed. Since the whole process seemed rather disorganized, I requested written confirmation of the reservation via the WhatsApp contact listed online. There was no response whatsoever. Finally, I went to the restaurant in person to ensure that the reservation I had confirmed over the phone was indeed entered into their system. There, I was told that the restaurant was closed that day. When I asked why no one had responded to my messages, the only response was "I don't know." No apology, nothing. Extremely chaotic and utterly unreliable service. I was truly disappointed.

Great Food , Amazing Ambience. Great service from all the staff especially there was this guy called 'Megh' . He was great , he was fast , he was treating us like his family. Overall great experience, would love to visit again and again

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Wonderful Experience at Swaad Restaurant, Pasing! We had a fantastic lunch at Swaad Restaurant in Pasing, and a big part of that was thanks to Megh. He was extremely welcoming from the moment we arrived and took great care of us throughout our visit. His warm and attentive service truly made our meal special. One thing I really appreciate about this restaurant is that they have separate freezing sections for vegetarian and non-vegetarian items, which shows their commitment to quality and hygiene — especially important for vegetarians like us. The ambience was lovely, the staff were very warm, and the food was excellent. We ordered Paneer Tikka Achari and Veg Kolhapuri, both of which were delicious and full of authentic flavour. Overall, a wonderful dining experience — highly recommended! 🌟

I had the leftovers from the very good meal packed up. I wanted to have them for lunch. Great, thanks. Thrown away. Who can eat meat and dry rice without sauce? The squeezed lemon wedge and the garnish on the plate were apparently more important. I've never experienced anything like it. They even put the bowl of sauce on the plate. Unfortunately, I have to give the service one star.

Yesterday I visited to swaad restaurant pasing , it was amazing experience and food was really great I like everything there even it was more delicious than my expectations. One more thing there was an party also and I thought it will get noisy and will disturb our dinner but the staff handle everything very smoothly without hurting others feelings and which was really impressive. They enjoyed there party joyfully and we enjoyed our dinner peacefully. Overall I had a great time in swaad restaurant in pasing with delicious dinner. Highly recommended.

Certainly one of the best Indian restaurants around. However, a disruptive side effect is that the kitchen is apparently so overloaded with orders from various delivery services that we couldn't enjoy our visit. Drivers were constantly coming and going to pick up food. As a result, we had to wait an unreasonably long time for our meals and got the impression that the priority was given to online orders rather than dine-in customers. The management should consider whether they want to be a fast-food outlet or an upscale Indian restaurant – and how they can better manage the balancing act between these two types of customers on a Friday evening.

The restaurant is very nice and the service was very friendly. The food was okay. The rice tasted of nothing (it was completely overcooked in the water), hence only 3 stars.

We waited 1,5h for our food. Food is good, but quite annoying to see the delivery services taking the orders and the people in the restaurants are waiting forever... Should prioritize the people in the restaurant ...

Truly lovingly and subtly seasoned dishes. I highly recommend both the Chicken Nilgiri and the Bhuna Ghost as main courses. From the dinner menu, the Pani Puri as a starter is a particular highlight for me. Very relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. Keep up the good work, dear Swaad team!

We've ordered through Uber Eats three times now and have been absolutely thrilled every time. Despite the distance to Munich's city center, the food was always still hot and fresh. The chicken is tender, well-seasoned, and grilled to perfection. The sauces are delicious, natural, fresh, and homemade. For me, this is one of the best Indian restaurants in and around Munich. Highly recommended! I especially recommend the Chicken Tikka and the Garlic Naan.

Today I visited swaad pasing, i really like the service and the environment even the staff was very polite they gave me warm welcome. Moreover, the food was really delicious , i will definately visit again there and highly recommended.

The food and the atmosphere was amazing . I really loved the taste and the quantity of the food . The person who was serving us was very polite and nice . The only reason for rating the service 2 was the waiting time . We had to wait almost 45 mins for our food to arrive after ordering which is way too much time . But I would definitely recommend going here.

Regarding the lunch special: 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. means the shop closes at 2:30 p.m. at the latest, meaning you have to order by 2 p.m. to still be able to participate. It's a shame if you cycled 20 minutes here to meet up. I can attest that the shop is packed at lunch.

I went to Swaad with friends yesterday for the second time and will be back. The dishes are seasoned in the German style, which still has a good amount of spice. If you want it spicier, just ask. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. The service is attentive. Many Indians also eat there. Reservations are required.

If you are going to enjoy the typical Indian food and atmosphere this is not it. But it's nice place to visit. Good german Ambience. Pleasant one I would say. And good Indian biryani taste.

Unfortunately, our second visit wasn't as successful. We had to wait a long time for our main course, which tasted good but was unfortunately served lukewarm.

There were several of us, aged 16-18. The negatives: First, the waitress didn't speak any German, only English, which I find unsuitable. The food is, as expected, good Indian at moderate prices. Not a gourmet temple, but very good value for money, and the portions were large.

Now my favorite Indian restaurant in Munich. Amazing flavours, staff are very nice and the restaurant itself is very nicely designed and looks quite classy. Highly recommend a visit, it is just a few min walk from Pasing Sbahn station

A thoroughly successful evening. My wife and I had a wonderful evening with delicious food and a relaxed atmosphere. The appetizers were flavorful, the mango lassi wonderfully refreshing, and the main courses perfectly seasoned – everything was cooked to perfection and in just the right portion size. The service was friendly and attentive, and the terrace was a truly pleasant place to sit. We'd love to come back!

For takeaway, I had Kadhai Paneer and Veg Jalfrezi with Paratha. Both were really good, especially the KP. Will definitely visit again and enjoy the ambiance next time, as it looked good when I went to take the food.

Being charged for food I never received

A must try place for great Maharashtrian food. I have tried the following dishes - 1. Sev Bhaji with Chapati 2. Samosa chaat 3. Chicken fried rice (Indo- Chinese) 4. Shrikhand All these 3 dishes were excellent. Their service is very nice too. The ambience is very soothing. Not the typical weird Indian decor. Parking is not easy but it is less than 5 minutes walk from the Pasing station.

Top! A beautifully decorated restaurant with very friendly and attentive staff. The food is fresh and delicious, and the lunch special is worth trying.

Unfortunately, the food was still too spicy for us in four different dishes. The price was at the upper end of our tolerance.

I ordered the Mutton Sukka on the bone for delivery. The sauce itself was good, as was the portion size. However, there was so little meat on the bones that I would be ashamed to serve that to a dog. Charging €18(!) for this is truly outrageous. Besides, the food started to make its presence felt in my digestive tract a few hours later. Overall, I can only say that I will be giving this restaurant a wide berth from now on, as the value for money is absolutely poor.

It's a bit small, but the quality of food it's good and the staff is friendly. Even if the place was full they brought relatively quick our food and we're satisfied with the portion as well. Fair price and you can have refills of rice.

By the way they already have two restaurants in Munich We are a foodie indian vegetarian family settled in UK for 17 years. So we know what is Good North Indian taste. We were travelling from UK to Austria by car and stopped for food here. A little outside, didn't want to go in the centre with our left side driving skills! But what amazed us was brilliant taste. When it comes to food nothing else matters. We asked to get Kadhai Paneer and a few Naans. Rice is complimentary anyway with vegetable dishes. We wanted one more vegetable...the Guy (Megh) suggested sev bhaaji. He was quite helpful and after patiently listening to our preferences suggested the curry and it was indeed worth it. Thanks to him. He even made one of my drinks complimentary. The restaurant otherwise is quite big inside. Offering a lot of space with good distance between tables. There is outdoor seating space as well. Nice and clean. Brilliant experience overall. Must go once and see for your self!

We went there last evening with a few friends who were visiting us from Berlin. We had dropped by pretty late only to have a few starters. Though it was pretty close to the time for last food orders, the staff were patient with our requests. Swaad Pasing has moved to nicer bigger quarters. Though I didn't mind the space they had before, the new place is pretty spacious and elegant. The food was delicious as always. The vada pav with the Hausgemachtes pav, fluffy like a cloud, and the authentic thecha brought back memories of Pune. We also got chicken achari tikka after much deliberation, and it did not disappoint. Alongside the mattha, and the mango mastani to close off the affairs, I regret not going there with a bigger appetite. 😋

We were extremely satisfied with the food. We were there in the afternoon when it wasn't busy. It was truly delicious, but the service was unfortunately rather poor. The waiters weren't attentive and had trouble understanding us. We had to wait quite a while for drinks, and the dishes weren't cleared away for a long time after the meal.

We normally go to Berg am Laim Branch, today tried hier in Pasing new restaurant it was also amazing like the other one. Delicious food and very impressive environment. Thanks Minh
