The best sushi in Konstanz! Nicely furnished, small, family atmosphere. Large sushi plates are definitely recommended here. You can watch the chefs preparing the food and the music isn't too loud. If you want to treat yourself you should go here! You can't get eel sushi, mussel sushi, etc. of this quality anywhere else! Delicious starters, the gyoza was fantastic!

Top! Excellent and authentic Japanese cuisine. No comparison to all the other "Asian" restaurants in the city center. Everything is typically Japanese. Not cheap, but worth every euro. Very happy again!

Authentic sushi experience! The sushi chefs make all sushis in front of you. They prepare it quickly and serve great green tea. It's similar to being in Japan. You're supposed to eat quickly, pay up and then leave, as the place is small. But keeping this in mind, it's a great experience for sushi overall!

We ordered sushi from Tatsumi. And picked up after the specified time. The restaurant is not very big, which is why it is understandable that it gets booked up pretty quickly and it becomes difficult to get a place for short-term reservations. That's why we decided to eat to go. The sushi was very tasty. The service was also very friendly. We will definitely come back on our next visit to Konstanz.

The quality of the food (sushi, small salad, ice cream) and drinks (white wine, Japanese beer, espresso) is very good and the price is completely reasonable. The sushi bar is very authentic, the food is prepared by Japanese sushi chefs, the fish is fresh! You can watch the boss at work using an overhead monitor. You should bring your time, quality comes before speed. A Japanese family was also a guest, which probably says it all about the authenticity of the offer. The service is generally fine and friendly; Since the sushi bar is very busy, you may have to repeat one or two order requests (drinks), but that's not a problem. We (the two of us) first sat at the bar (on a Saturday evening, we hadn't made a reservation); But when a table became available, the service offered us this vacant table; I found that very accommodating! The ambience is rather rustic and simple, but that's actually authentically Japanese for a sushi bar. The sushi bar is rather inconspicuously located in a backyard, so it's not a fancy place; I like it. The men's toilet is also rather rustic, but clean; Only the sink had run out of paper towels to dry my hands, but I also think details like that are important. I can highly recommend this sushi bar and would be happy to eat there again on my next visit to Konstanz.

Hello hello hello, I visited this small restaurant on the recommendation of a guest and I have to say I was very positively surprised. There is a quiet atmosphere with friendly service and lots of little treats, which unfortunately I haven't been able to try them all yet. The gyoza are really cool. Sorry for the choice of words. The sushi is of excellent quality with fresh ingredients. Kimchi is TOP NOTCH. What the young waitress didn't have in terms of experience, she made up for with a charming smile. Great... keep it up! How can it be that no one answers the phone??! You can call as much as you want, you will simply be ignored. I was already in the restaurant and heard the phone ringing constantly and no employee thought to pick up the phone. That means when I call, I'm just ignored. What's that supposed to mean?! What do you have a phone for?!

The phone hung up on me twice for a reservation. Restaurant too small and the service unfriendly. Orders are delivered incorrectly and claim that this was ordered. You can't have a comfortable evening there; they would like to throw you out after an hour. The store sucks! Absolutely the last thing... Better go and eat kebab, the people are friendly.

For everyone who doesn't understand these high ratings. It was once by far the best sushi restaurant around. And then was overwhelmed by success. Unfortunately, others aren't any better.

Despite a reservation, the table was not yet free and we had to wait 15 minutes. We had to wait 40 minutes for the main course. The restaurant is extremely cramped and stuffy. You feel like you're in the back room. The food, however, is very good.

We stopped by spontaneously and luckily got 2 seats at the “counter” and were allowed to move to a table a short time later. The food and service were really very good. Anbiente was also really cool. Without ever having been to Japan, it had a very Japanese flair. Priced for okay for the quality! Super satisfied!

So we picked up sushi from this restaurant. Expectations were high because of the good reviews. We love sushi and like to try a new place every now and then. First of all, it was a big shock when the sushi was 50 euros more expensive than expected. Prices appear to have been increased significantly recently. So a good 170 euros instead of 120 euros. Ok, maybe it's a little vacation for the palate and the soul.... Enjoyed the food.... Well,...... Unfortunately, unfortunately just completely average sushi. No explosion of flavor, no freshness in the mouth. Too sweet, too fluffy, avocado not great. Some things are quite good, but just not good enough for this price. Too bad, that was the last time we ordered here.

The Tatsumi has a lot of tradition, an interior design that is more reminiscent of the conditions and flair of Asian countries. The sushi is the best you can get in Konstanz (not cheap, but sushi never is). But the quality of the fish is definitely worth it.

Disappointing experience despite good reviews After choosing the sushi restaurant based on numerous positive reviews, I was extremely disappointed. When we entered, even though we had a stroller with us, we were directed outside without a greeting by the fat-bearded waiter, apparently because of a lack of space, even though the restaurant wasn't really full at the time. Lunch started promisingly with a good miso soup and a fresh salad, but the sushi platter was completely disappointing in terms of taste. The waiter was not very communicative and even urged us to clear away even though we were still eating. After the visit, we both struggled with stomach cramps. All in all, I cannot recommend this restaurant and will not visit it again.

Truly amazing sushi! The salmon is deliciously fresh and juicy, and their shiitake mushrooms taste phenomenal. Great unique combinations, one of the best sushi restaurants with an authentic vibe.

Ich war lange Stammkunde und Kunde der ersten Stunde des Restaurants. Von Jahr zu Jahr wurde am Erfolg gemessen der Service schlechter. Vom Familiären willkommen wurde im laufe der Zeit ein „ Ess und geh“ Das Personal wechselt häufig und du wirst Plötzlich zur Nr. Das Essen ist das beste im Landkreis , wird mich aber nicht dazu bewegen wieder öfters zu kommen. Schade .

After 100 calls spread over 1 week, not a single call was answered, so I drove there spontaneously, maybe I was lucky, everything was fully booked, you should make a reservation. Problems with reservations, yes - I called the pick-up service and already reserved a table. We made a pilgrimage there for my daughter's 18th birthday. 3 out of 4 guests liked sushi etc. affin, 1 guest had even tasted local cuisine in Japan. We were all extremely impressed by the Japanese chef's skills - we will definitely be back soon! PS Great feature, you can watch the chef prepare things via the overhead camera!

The prices are really no longer justified. It's getting more and more expensive. The restaurant can never be reached, you have to make 20 calls for each order until someone picks up, and you often have to wait hours for your food. The service is really a disaster. I love the food here, about 2 years ago you could get enough for 15-20€. Now you have to plan around €30-40 per person and that is simply too much. For that money I can get 2-3 meals in any other restaurant.

Ordered sushi to go today - great service even though the restaurant was full. The food was beautifully prepared and tasted fresh and great. Really great value for money!

I tried several times to contact the restaurant using the normal number to make a reservation, unfortunately without success. When I tried to use the number for sushi orders to pick up and explained that I couldn't get through to the normal number, the phone was rudely hung up on me. I find this behavior completely unprofessional and disappointing. Based on these experiences, I unfortunately cannot recommend this restaurant. Never again – what a terrible shop!

Wir waren Stammgäste, bis wir vor ein paar Wochen um 19.00 Uhr bestellt und das Essen erst um 21.00 Uhr erhalten haben. Take Aways wurden ständig vorgezogen. Es gab keinen Discount, nur ein trockenes Sorry. Vorgestern wollten wir Sushi zum Abholen bestellen, über 30min lang haben wir niemanden ans Telefon gekriegt. Um 18.00 Uhr sagte man uns, wir können um 21.00 Uhr erst abholen. Super Essen und deshalb ärgert es uns, dass wir dort nicht mehr hingehen können. Es macht den Eindruck, als seien ihnen die Gäste egal ..

Der Laden ist komplett überbewertet. Ich hatte eine Miso Suppe die wässrig war und nach nix geschmeckt hat. Die Sushi Kreationen waren auch nicht wirklich überzeugend. Das Ambiente ist auch eher Imbiss mässig.

*****The Verdict**** The Place: Very Japanese. Similar to those Japanese Resto in Japan. Modern ambiance with mix Japanese culture design and display. The People: it is run by a japanese Chef so expect a japanese Hospitality. The Food: So I ordered Steak Tofu with Ginger soya sauce, Ebi Furai and Unagi sushi. The Tofu Steak comes with a savory sweet sauce, was expecting it with any ginger taste to it, but it is not. I find the sauce too sweet for it and the Tofu somehow too soft. I would recommend a much firmer texture tofu for it and a sauce that is not too sweet. Also it comes with springrolls which is better to be substitute with more japanese side dishes. Overall for this, it is ok but needs improvement. Ebi Furai looks like just a normal breaded Shrimp that is also being served in other Asian resto but don't be fooled, it taste Good! I don't know how they prepare it but the inside is cooked but very succulent and Crispy outside! The Shrimps indeed that they used, definitely are prepared in a good way. I ate even the tail part as well! The only thing I don't like is, the sauce dip that comes with it is somehow sweet tangy and it doesn't match. Would suggest to change it with tempura dip sauce. Unagi sushi taste good also but it needs to be abit more warmer. since Unagi sushi normally are freshly grilled before serving as what I have eaten locally in Japan. But don't get me wrong with it my comment for this one, it is still good . The Price: reasonable for its Quality and just right for what you are going to get. Overall: ⭐️⭐️⭐️3.5 to be exact. it is good and have a great potential to be a good japanese resto.

Man hat echt irgendwie das Gefühl man ist in einem kleinen Restaurant in einer Gasse in Japan. Das Essen ist wirklich super und falls ihr Vegi seid, können sie gut auf eure Wünsche eingehen. Super Service. Schaut, dass ihr im Voraus reserviert, sie sind meistens gut besucht.

Essen ist sehr gut, gutes Sushi und man kann sogar sehen wie es gemacht wird. Es gab ein Missverständnis mit dem Kellner und obwohl es für uns nicht schlimm war haben wir einen Flammwein umsonst bekommen. Vorspeisen sind auch sehr zu empfehlen.

Essen per Telefon bestellt und abgeholt. Reibungsloser Ablauf und pünktliche Abholung. Präsentation und Geschmack waren wirklich toll! Gerne wieder.

Sowohl zum Mitnehmen als auch als Gast vor Ort ist dieses Restaurant zu empfehlen. Ich habe bisher immer sehr gut zubereitetes Essen bekommen und das Ambiente insbesondere an der Theke finde ich toll.

Top Sushi Lokal mit japanischem Chef und zuvorkommenden Mitarbeitenden. Immer wieder gerne über Mittag oder auch Abends. Die Inneneinrichtung ist traditionell und schlicht, man fühlt sich (fast) wie in Japan.

Ausserordentlich guter Sushi. Die Teller werden ebenfalls schön präsentiert. Preisleistung stimmt. Beim Essen kann man kaum was bemängeln. Verbesserungsbedarf gibt es bei der Ausstattung der Möbel. Diese sind nicht wirklich bequem und die Tische nicht ideal platziert, sodass man teils zu eng mit den Nachbarn sitzt.

Sehr gut erfahrung hier gemacht

Für eine spontane Party haben wir kurzfristig mehrere Hokkaido-Platten bestellt und abgeholt. Das Sushi war super lecker und ganz frisch. Unsere Gäste und wir waren begeistert. Darüber hinaus hatte der Sushi-Meister das Sushi schön und dekorativ auf unseren Platten zubereitet. Möchte man qualitativ hochwertiges und traditionelles Sushi essen, ist man im Tatsumi goldrichtig!

Super Laden! Klein und etwas beängt, aber genauso stell ich mir das auch in Tokyo vor. Haben für 60 Euro die Sushikreationen vom Meister für 2 Personen bestellt, und es war einfach mega. Noch nie so gutes Sushi gehabt wie an diesem Tag. Am Ende gabs dann noch einen Sake, aber leider nicht in einer traditionellen runden Sakeschale, sondern aus einer quadratischen Schale aus Plastik. Fand ich jetzt nicht so toll, daher ein kleines Manko. Werde trotzdem auf jeden Fall wieder kommen!
