I was really looking forward to the experience at my beloved Bo Dai Ko Resti. A sentence with an X, that was definitely not going anywhere! The interior doesn't look as cozy as it used to. All that plastic and shiny white furniture don't really fit together anymore... The service also left a lot to be desired... Something we ordered was never brought to our table. The staff don't speak German very well, making communication challenging. Unfortunately, my udon noodles were very bland, and the service was very slow... The conveyor belt wasn't running, or rather, it was, but we weren't allowed to take anything from it. Well, all in all: a shame, I probably won't be coming back...

I came with my family from Madrid, Germany (a total of 11 of us). The people who served us from the moment we arrived were delightful, friendly, always smiling, and made us feel at home. The food was delicious. Watching the sushi chef at work is fantastic. There's a fishy smell in the air. But what on earth happened to the ambiance?!!?!?! The terrible interior design seems unkempt and tastelessly thrown together. It's reminiscent of the 90s. Stains on the tablecloths, greasy stains and handprints on the menu, a heater attached to the wall with a cord, water stains on the dishes... what kind of downgrade is this? Before, everything was woody, warm, clean, and cozy. Eating there was like a short vacation. It definitely isn't anymore. I wasn't even allowed to pay with cash... for whatever reason... what a shame.

We were there on Saturday evening, and despite the many visitors, we didn't have to wait long for our food. I ordered sushi and my wife ordered udon noodles with duck. I haven't had such good sushi in a long time; the rice and the freshness of the salmon were unique, and great for the prices. Thank you so much, we would love to come back.

Love this place under the new management. We usually come for lunch and the lunch menu is great. I particularly like the Miso soup, nigiri and Tofu curry. We also appreciate the selection of drinks, like Litchi lemonade and Ginger Tea. The service is amazing, love coming here every week!

Ich bin ein treuer Kunde dieses Restaurants und in die japanische Kultur verliebt. Hier habe ich die beste Ramen-Suppe gegessen – alles frisch zubereitet, inklusive der Teigwaren. Ein wahrer Genuss! Ich war in Japan und kann vergleichen: Die Ramen-Suppe hier war so authentisch, dass ich mich wie auf einer kulinarischen Reise fühlte. Die ruhige Atmosphäre im Restaurant hat dieses Gefühl perfekt abgerundet. Jetzt, da dieses wunderbare Gericht nicht mehr auf der Karte steht, bin ich sehr traurig. Das Restaurant hat einige Veränderungen erlebt. Ich möchte dem aktuellen Küchenteam von Herzen bewusst machen, wie glücklich diese Ramen-Suppe die Gäste gemacht hat. So etwas Vergleichbares gibt es in Konstanz und Umgebung nicht – eine richtige Ramen-Bar mit authentischen Gerichten wie Okonomiyaki und anderen typischen Speisen fehlt hier sehr. Es wäre wunderbar, wenn solche Gerichte wieder angeboten würden! Vielen Dank für die schönen kulinarischen Erlebnisse, die ich hier genießen durfte.

Before the renovation, I enjoyed the best ramen soup I've ever tasted outside of Japan - authentic and fresh, as I know it from Japan. The freshly prepared pasta was particularly impressive, making the dish incomparable. Unfortunately, I discovered that this dish in its original form can no longer be found on the new menu. That made me very sad because it was unique in Constance and I valued it very much. Therefore, I would like to ask you to offer the ramen soup again in its original, authentic format. Another dish that I would like to try is okonomiyaki, also prepared in a traditional Japanese way. Thank you for considering my concern and I hope to dine with you again soon to enjoy the flavors of Japan.

Today it was packed to the brim at BO DAI KO, but luckily we managed to get a table. We sat directly at the treadmill and had a wonderful view of the open kitchen. A visit to BO DAI KO always means a new experience. The personal chef selects the sushi and we can decide what to take on the conveyor belt. Of course you can also express your wishes yourself, but the sushi chef knows what's good and you can taste it too. Our absolute recommendation in the city center of Konstanz🫶👍 By the way, we really like the new concept!

We had an incredible evening at BO DAI KO today! They have a new concept, but we like them better than before. Location is great in the middle of the city center. They ran the running sushi especially for us, even though it only takes place on weekends. That was very friendly and we will definitely come back! If you want to eat authentic and inexpensive sushi, this is the place for you. Our child ordered fried noodles and they were delicious. Our recommendation Omakase 3🫶

Very tasty udon soup with homemade udon...unfortunately that was yesterday. The signature ramen and udon soups were removed from the menu and replaced with neutral, overstuffed ribbon noodle soups with spicy pepperoni. The old ramen, on the other hand, was very balanced and aromatic. I can't say anything about the sushi, but we always enjoyed going there for the ramen. Another reason for me was the pleasant, quiet and traditional atmosphere. Unfortunately, there is now loud, modern music playing there and it is very bright. Unfortunately, the restaurant has lost some of its charm. Very unfortunate. There is a before/after comparison in the pictures.

The freshness here is exceptional. The last time I ate such delicious poultry was in Turkey. The children swallowed the sushi like nothing. Also the starter, a dream! I can recommend it to everyone! And compared to the big restaurant next door, not even 50% of the price!

The exterior and interior look promising. But the food was really not up to our expectations. I was disappointed. The salmon sashimi was good though.

We entered the restaurant after checking the good google ratings and the cosy atmosphere. But the food was not fresh. They put mayonnaise and soya sauce on their Flammkuchen, the mayo tasted so disgusting. Yakitori dish was also not fresh. Wasabi was dry. We also ordered a mango juice that tasted like cheap juice from the supermarket with a lot of sugar and water. We didn't eat half of the food and left unsatisfied. Not authentic at all.

Food was bad as was the service. The sauces were not edible. Not recommended! There were no other guests on site and yet the staff was busy on their cell phones the whole time and had no time. I'll spare you photos ;)

The miso soup is very delicious and spicy. The sushi was fresh. We went in half an hour before the afternoon closing. The staff welcomed us in a friendly manner. They didn't rush us. We were able to have lunch comfortably. The place is very cozy. I can only recommend.

If you are expecting something authentic then this is not the place for you. We ordered salmon rolls and chicken ramen. The salmon rolls tasted okay but the salmons are not fresh. Ramen is a disaster. Obviously they are using instant noodle seasoning packets for the soup. It is super salty. Noodles taste bad too. I have to say it is the worst ramen I’ve ever had on this planet. However, if you don’t expect much on the food. You can pay a visit.

The Miso Ramen cannot be called ramen, the “broth” is just hot water mixed with a little miso paste, the noodles come out of the package, and the toppings also leave something to be desired. Half the bowl was pointed cabbage. Oh well

The restaurant is very authentically decorated and the food is very tasty. Unfortunately, we experienced an unpleasant situation. We arrived a little late and ordered straight away. Although the restaurant was open until 10:30 p.m., we were told at 9:30 p.m. that we now had to order the last round of drinks because the kitchen was closing and the staff "wanted to get off work too." We weren't the last, nor did we leave at the last minute. We then left shortly before 10 p.m.

Unfortunately ripped off and unfriendly service :( -Yellow plates are billed as green plates (price difference of €1.5 per plate) -Different prices on cards. Paid €84 for two people.

Delicious Udon Tori Kaarage! Well seasoned. Nice staff and nice decor as you would imagine in Japan. Unfortunately, where we were there, the staff's children were also there, so they were a bit loud from time to time. Otherwise gladly again.

Unfortunately, the voucher had expired for three months - we would have had to redeem it in a very unusually short time of 6 months for the catering industry. The very friendly and benevolent service stood up for us and asked the manager. Unfortunately, they were not prepared to show any goodwill or compromise, which we very much regret.
