Michiko – Asian Dining & Sushi Lounge in Konstanz

We ate at the michiko restaurant at the weekend. It tasted great, the sushi was very fresh and it was very nicely decorated, we had a plate for 2 people. Service was quick, and super nice and accommodating. When we wanted to pay, we had it We still talk to him super friendly!! But the only thing that bothered us is that we had to wait a long time for our food, which is why I can only give it 4 stars.

The service is very rude. We were given the wrong dishes and we had to argue because we were accused of placing the wrong order. He said he had camera in the restaurant. There is also a real lack of hygiene, the tables are not clean and there are dead flies everywhere.

In my opinion, this Vietnamese restaurant in Konstanz offers the best sushi, great soups and also the best value for money. The distance from the city center shouldn't stop anyone from stopping by or ordering something to take away. The lunch menu is particularly worth it. The only drawback: Unfortunately there is no toilet in the restaurant. Since this is part of the center, you can use the toilet there (to do this you have to leave the restaurant and walk over to the center). I have also often eaten at a sticky table. It would be nice if a little more attention was paid to this :) Overall definitely recommended.

So far I've had ToGo dishes here. Everything tastes very tasty, I can warmly recommend it and the value for money is great. A small wish: Would it be possible to do without plastic containers? Microplastics can pass into the food, especially when food is hot. Alternatives such as containers made of sugar cane or similar would be great and would make the enjoyment experience even more sustainable. Thank you!

Too expensive now. It was always very good, even if it was more expensive than the competition at the time. But now it's no longer worth it.

When you get there, it has more of the charm of a to-go/snack bar. The ambience is not what you would want for a nice meal. BUT, the sushi was really good. Beautifully prepared and tasted really good! Cleanliness could be better, the service was OK but long waiting times should be taken into account. We waited almost 30 minutes for the drinks and almost 60 minutes for the sushi, and that was with little traffic. However, many to-go orders were picked up during the waiting time, which explains the waiting time somewhat. Still ugly. All in all, you can eat well there, but I would order sushi to go next time.

Sushi is really very good, value for money is also okay! I have ordered sushi locally and for pickup many times! I even accept the waiting time, despite the stated pick-up time, sometimes even >15 minutes, as well as the permanently "broken" card reader, which is why payment can only be made in cash... However, I was very upset recently when I had to wait a good 10 minutes to pick up an order, even though I'm deliberately coming later. I usually don't give a tip when I pick up food (for what service?! After all, I'm paying for the goods I ordered). Sometimes I round it up to the full euro, but then I get a comment after the waiting time I was told that I should tip more next time, which I thought was cheeky! Since then I've been getting my sushi somewhere else because it just really annoyed me...

Service was incredibly great, everyone was very friendly and accommodating. Sushi was extremely tasty and also super fresh, which was especially noticeable with the salmon - so buttery that it almost melted in your mouth. A strong recommendation given the excellent price-performance ratio, gladly again!🤍

I really enjoy getting sushi here, in Konstanz I love it the most. Everything is freshly prepared and the ingredients are of great quality. I've been ordering regularly for three years and I always look forward to it. The tempura roll with salmon and the mango salad are my personal favorites, but the lunch menu is also very good and relatively cheap (between €10 and €15). The staff is always friendly and caring. If you haven't been here yet, you should definitely stop by

Good sushi at a very fair price. Tokyo and Tuna Set are highly recommended. The service staff is very fast, nice and courteous.

Long waiting time for ordering and food. 42 minutes to wait for the food? Unbelievable. Additionally, they don't let you pay with the card, only cash. On top of it, I got pay over of 3 euro only with 20 and 10 cents only. I had to go out to find a bancomat to withdraw money at the end. Very old fashion. People started use crypto. Those guys are still using Stonehenge paying option. Very dissatisfied

The food itself was delicious and beautifully prepared. However, unfortunately there were 2 hairs in my dish. Staff not particularly friendly or motivated. It's a shame because it tastes delicious.

Our favorite sushi spot far and wide!!!Great value for money, the vegetarian sushi is really delicious and the service is always friendly:) The furnishings are also very nice and cozy. The only thing to complain about is that there is no toilet on site, there are a lot of people queuing in the restaurant to pick up their food and you may have to wait longer for your food. All in all, still worth a visit again! 🥢🍣

It's terrible, the service is disgraceful!! I have given this restaurant a chance several times and each time I have been extremely disappointed. You wait an hour for your food, the plates are delivered every 50 minutes for small groups of 5 people, once we even waited 2 hours which is an outrage. I'll never enter this restaurant again! The staff wears AirPods throughout their stay, even when they are talking to you. The food tastes good but hygiene is also lacking. There is a massive flying problem. Orders are constantly being mixed up and brought back to the kitchen, and these dishes are then put back in front of other guests, even if this plate has already been left aside for 30 minutes and in front of strangers for 5 minutes. This restaurant is a disgrace, the service is really the last!!!!!

Food good, cleanliness...well...

I was there the second time because I love their Buddha crispy sushi but this time I ordered papaya salad as well which was very bad, very watery, I waited for my food about 1 h, service was slow, table dirty, I had to say waiter to clean it before my food comes. and at the end waiter said that card payment is not possible and sign for that was only written inside by the counter, and I was eating outside. I went home disappointed and frustrated.

I invited business partners to dinner at Michiko's. Food and service were top! Unfortunately I have to deduct a ☆ because you can't pay by card or invoice. Very unfortunate, as no further business lunches are possible there.

There were 6 of us. With a reservation, we unfortunately only got a table for 4 with a small table next to it, which means that 2 people only had a stool and no backrest. There are certainly larger tables that were not used by large groups during our visit. The service was also inattentive in other ways: we had to ask to be allowed to order. We got lucky rolls without ordering them. During our entire stay we were never asked if everything was okay or if we would like something else to drink. Empty plates were not cleared away. Sushi was okay.

I really like going there. It's cozy on site and the staff is friendly. The food is absolutely delicious. I've tried various sushi variations so far and everything was very good, the fish was fresh and the rice was just right. Everything is very attractively prepared and served. I am also happy to order takeaway via the website. You can then pick up your food on time and eat it at the location of your choice. I can fully recommend Michiko.

There is a very nice waitress and the atmosphere is good, especially in the evening. The fairy lights and the general interior design are very nice. The food is also well prepared and decorated as it should be. And for such a small kitchen, the food tastes really, really good. I would definitely recommend it and go again.👍

Very nicely decorated shop, the food was very tasty at a reasonable price. The tables are not too close together, so you are relatively undisturbed. Unfortunately, some of the tables are in the shop window, right next to the entrance to Kaufland. Unfortunately, card payment is not possible. Very friendly and attentive staff.

We were warned that we would have to wait half an hour for food. After 20 minutes the waitress came to us and said another 20 minutes, so we had to wait 30 minutes for the starters and another 20-25 minutes for the sushi. The chef even went to Kaufland to buy something else. Personally, I don't think this is a problem, but if there is no crowd in the store and you order at the same time as us, then I don't understand how it can really take more than an hour to prepare a sushi plate for 4. Otherwise the shop is really nicely done and the food is beautifully presented!

40 minutes after we ordered pork bbq we were told that it was no longer available and that we should choose something else. That came pretty quickly. They actually do a good job, but are understaffed for the number of places. A pity.

The Pho is really good! The portion is big, the broth is delicious, and the beef is quite tender. I don't think I've ever had such tenderness to my Pho beef before. The lunch deals are excellent. The sushi was alright, but it's Korean-style rather than Japanese: it was cooked. The place doesn't take credit cards, thou :( Had to go to an ATM.

Wirklich gutes Essen zu fairen Preisen. Leider ist das Klo im Center und entspricht einer öffentlichen Toilette und der Tisch hat so doll geklebt, das mein Ärmel fest hing.

J'ai goûté les sushis végétariens et la soupe pho au tofu, que je recommande vivement. Les deux plats sont bons et copieux, et le prix tout à fait abordable. Les limonades maison sont aussi très bonnes, mais un peu plus chères.

Wir waren heute zum ersten Mal hier, aber nicht zum letzten Mal. Die Einrichtung ist rustikal und gemütlich, der Service sehr freundlich. Wir hatten Kimchi (anders als ic es gewohntistbin, aber mir hat es gut geschmeckt), den Bangkok Baby Salat (speziell aber wir fanden es lecker), das BBQ-Pork (mit einer riesigenPortionNudeln) und Curry mit Ente (cremig, kokosnussig und zitronengrasig). Besonders empfehlen kann ich den Zitronengras-Tee. Im Kännchen ist kein Beutel, sondern frisches Zitronengras und Orange - echt richtig toll! Zu meckern gibt's nicht viel, außer vielleicht, dasskeine Kartenzahlung möglich ist und dass man zur Toilette ziemlich weit ins nebenan gelegene Einkaufszentrum gehen muss. Und unser Tisch war ein bisschen klebrig. Da könnte man vielleicht noch gründlicher wischen. Ein Verbesserungsvorschlag wäre sonst, darauf zu achten, dass die Speisen gleichzeitig an den Tisch kommen. Aber all das ist jammern auf hohem Niveau. Wir waren zufrieden.

Ein Gutes Restaurant. Ich war nun ca 10-15 mal dort essen und habe ein klares Fazit. Pfoten weg vom Sushi. Alles andere vor allem das gebackene Hänchen mit Salat und Udon sind sehr lecker und empfehlenswert. Leider ist das Sushi nicht von dieser Qualität und Preis Leistungstechnisch nicht vertretbar.

Wir waren mal wieder essen und es war wie immer sehr lecker. Bedienung ist sehr freundlich. Preislich passt es. Was ich bissle schade finde das kein WC im Restaurant ist man muss rüber zum Seerheincenter. Und es ist nur Barzahlung möglich. Ansonsten kann ich es nur empfehlen.

Meine Freunde und ich essen hier gerne und oft - sowohl vor Ort als auch Take Away. Es gibt leckeres Sushi und viele andere asiatische Gerichte - würde es als Fusion aus japanischer und Süd-Ost-Asiatischer Küche beschreiben. Für VegetarierInnen empfehle ich das Veggie Mix Sushi Set (Nr. 101) :)

Bestes Asiatisches Restaurant in Konstanz. Bestes Sushi zu Verhältniss mäßig echt günstigen Preis. Super nette Bedienung.

Telefonisch bestellt, 15 Minuten war alles fertig. Absolut super. Sogar ein kleines Schälchen Salat war dabei. Echt toll. Das einzige was ich sagen muss, das irgendein Gewürz dabei war, was nicht meins war. Entweder im Reis oder in der sosse. So parfümiert.....aber sonst perfekt. Danke

All in all not so bad as a normal adapted Asian restaurant. But I wouldn't categorize it as a good Japanese place to go to.

Online sah das Restaurant eigentlich gar nicht so schlecht aus. Aber leider hat es drinnen extrem nach Fett gerochen. Es war wirklich sehr unangenehm und penetrant. Auf den Service haben wir auch sehr lange gewartet. Um wie 19 Uhr waren wir da und um 20:40 kam das Essen. Über 1,5h dort sitzen bevor man das Essen bekommt finde ich einfach deutlich zu lange. Wir haben irgendwann neue Getränke bestellt weil wir so lange gewartet haben das die ersten Getränke schon leer waren. Als die neuen Getränke gebracht wurden, wurden die leeren Gläser aber einfach stehen gelassen. Immerhin haben wir für die 2. Getränke nicht bezahlen müssen weil wir über 1h auf das Essen gewartet haben. Die Bedienung war eindeutig sehr überfordert. Das muss wohl aber schon eine Weile lang so laufen wenn ich mir die anderen Rezensionen so durchschaue. Das essen war eigentlich in Ordnung. Wir hatten alle (3 Personen) Sushi. War nicht das beste Sushi, aber auch nicht das Schlechteste. Toiletten gibt es dort leider keine. Was ich leider auch nicht so toll fand, sind die Fliegenfallen die von der Decke hingen. Die waren zwar im Eck, aber man konnte sie trotzdem sehen. Ich finde das ist nicht unbedingt ein appetitlicher Anblick. Vielleicht gibt es da noch andere Möglichkeiten. Nachtisch gab es leider auch nicht mehr (wohl ausverkauft). Ich würde tatsächlich nicht nochmal hin gehen weil der Service einfach wirklich eine Katastrophe war. Da kann das Essen noch so gut oder nicht gut sein. Allein schon wegen der Tatsache, dass man anschließend so heftig nach fett riecht. Die Klamotten, die Haare. Einfach alles. Leider nicht empfehlenswert.

Das Essen ist lecker und gut! Der Service am Freitag Mittag war leider miserabel. Mir wurde das Restaurant empfohlen und war zunächst zufrieden; wir hatten schnell einen Tisch und konnten schnell bestellen. Bestellt wurden 2 Getränke, die super schnell kam :) und Frühlingsrollen sowie 2 Mittagssushi Sets. Die Frühlingsrollen kamen nie. Als die Sushis kamen, waren die Frühlingsrollen immer noch nicht da - dann halt nicht, wir haben abgeschlossen und gedacht, sie hätten es vergessen. Zum Sushi hatten wir KEINE Essstäbe erhalten, Ingwer und Wasabi fehlte auch. Das war uns zu blöd und nahmen die (hoffentlich) sauberen Essstäbe vom Nachbartisch... Denn es kam nie jemand raus um uns zu fragen, wie es war. Ausserdem hatten wir Hunger und erwarten auch, dass wir die Grundlagen erhalten, um essen zu können. Die Tische neben uns waren nicht abgeräumt. Die Frühlingsrollen haben sie berechnet, wir sie aber nie erhalten. Statt sich zu entschuldigen, hatte die Bedienung gemeint: "Oh, hab das wohl an einem falschen Tisch gebracht". Wir verstehen das, jede Person hat mal einen schlechten Tag. Aber die Bedienung war extrem frech und hatte noch das Gefühl, sie hätte Trinkgeld verdient. Es hat 25.80€ gekostet, wobei ich 30€ geben hatte. Die Bedienung hat offensichtlich Trinkgeld erwartet (für nicht gelieferte Stäbchen, Wasabi, Ingwer und bestellte Frühlingsrollen). Dabei hat sie mir die 4.20€ auf den Tisch geworfen mit einem wütendem Blick und Auftreten und war anschliessen sauer auf uns. Der Service am Anfang war gut und schnell, anschliessend nur noch ein Disaster. Vielleicht habt ihr ein bisschen mehr Glück und eine kompetentere Bedienung, denn das Essen war schon lecker.

Das Essen war qualitativ und quantitativ sehr gut. Haben noch spontan einen Tisch gekriegt um 19.30Uhr. Restaurant war sehr voll aber Gastgeberin hat uns speditiv den Tisch gezeigt und konnten auch rasch bestellen. Die Vorspeisen sind rasch gekommen und meine Kinder glücklich mit dem erhaltenem. Satay Spiesse und Süsskartoffeln Pommes inkl. Wantan Taschen alles sehr lecker auch die Erdnusssauce sehr fein abgeschmeckt. Sushi war exquisit. Wir kommen gerne wieder
