The staff are very nice and the service is quick, the food was great and it didn't take very long for the food to arrive, it's nicely presented but there is too much traffic.

Guys, what kind of beer is this….??? The day after was spent in the toilet... normal to pay so much money for such a shitty beer without comment!!! We randomly stopped at this location in the evening after a 2:30 train ride. Nice welcome, we ate pasta and salmon pita, very well prepared. Nice surprise, happy to have found this place, recommend.

Absolutely unspeakable. The entire staff and kitchen were overwhelmed. Above all, the waiter, who was extremely unfriendly when greeting us - suffering from severe high blood pressure or something else - was a disaster. In some cases he even gave untrue information about the inventory of the wine. Even ordering the drinks was a challenge. They took an incredible amount of time with everything and were visibly irritated. The fish soup consisted mainly of sodium glutamate and changed dramatically in substance after 5 minutes and simply became watery. The plaice certainly wasn't from the North Sea, but it was certainly thawed, almost mealy and without any real taste. Definitely avoid if you expect fresh and tasty fish.

The fish restaurant offers a large selection of delicious fish dishes. The restaurant is modernly furnished. The food was very well cooked and the fish platter for 2-3 people was excellent and plentiful. The service was very friendly and attentive.

The salmon was great, unfortunately half of the plaice consisted of bones. I'm particularly curious about an explanation as to why our food (including all the vegetables and the green dumplings) tasted like dishwashing liquid?! Sorry for the waiter, the service was otherwise good, but because of the aftertaste we couldn't leave a tip. One more little note: Please adjust your card again, e.g. to have three different spellings for fillet (Fielt, Filt) on one side is really macabre.

My husband and I went to Stromgold full of anticipation. We had great expectations because of the TV broadcast and the reviews, which were unfortunately bitterly disappointed. The service was attentive and friendly, the atmosphere was quite cozy. The oysters tasted like harbor water, were brought without lemon and smelled very strong. I've already had chills after eating an oyster. Unfortunately, the carpaccio was the worst thing I've ever eaten: bland, unsatisfactory meat quality, brownish color, the sauce was a kind of gravy (?!) and you had to imagine the taste of truffles. In the end we were glad we didn't order more. Finally: Beer columns in a seemingly chic restaurant are also rather questionable...

Large tasty portions. Great team, value for money is right.

We visited you for the first time today and were very, very disappointed. Had the vegan meal - cauliflower and pasta with chicken - bruschetta first. All in all... it tasted like nothing, even pepper and salt were missing. The vegan meal was missing hummus and the few leaves of lettuce were old and sandy. The court said nothing, let alone smacked of anything. The pasta just tasted like overcooked noodles and they were swimming in oil. Bruschetta was also unfortunately very neutral with huge pieces of onions in it. Service was nice, even if our criticism was not answered. I didn't want to be a creep and give a bad review, but when I saw the toilet...Very dirty, even if guests could be to blame + no towels, toilet paper or soap. I had already sent this message via Instagram and email. There was no response after 2 months. Therefore, here is a public review.

A great address, my salmon kebab was delicious. Unfortunately, both the avocado and the hummus were missing ;) but the friendly and very motivated waiter made up for it. Hope he stays in the restaurant, great behavior towards the guests!!

Simply cannot be surpassed in terms of mediocrity. The boss makes big speeches on Instagram, but not much of it is implemented. Food was simple and expensive. Seating furniture is an imposition… waiters are not well trained… maybe do less talking and more….

Reserved a table online a week ago with the desire to sit outside. A reservation is only desired and possible for indoor use. Unfavorable at 30 degrees. Too bad. The overwhelmed staff was not interested in a solution. Due to high fluctuation and some waiting, a table became available. Fish of any kind is recommended. The pasta and vegetables were completely overcooked and gray. There are no plans for guests to come back here and unfortunately it is not the goal of the house. Here tourists are served in the passage.

Hello, we were in Warnemünde for 1 week, the area was nice as always. Stopped in after a stroll and wanted a café au lait and a latte. The service was quick (since it wasn't that crowded, but unfortunately the café au lait and latte were the very last thing. Tastes are different Ok, but that didn't work at all - it's just a good thing that there are places (Twee Linden) that do it much better. When we're in Warnemünde we just walk past, it's not worth it for us.

The fish restaurant right on the promenade. We sat outside with a good view of old electricity and were able to choose from the lunch menu. Waiting time for food was a bit long even though we were the only ones. Portions are sufficient, fresh and tasty.

It wasn't our first time here but it was certainly the last. The young team on the outside terrace was completely disorganized, they were all moving in a hurry but nothing really worked. Rosé instead of red wine, the beer was at ambient temperature with 0 carbon dioxide, inedible... the people at the next table even left it standing. The fish latte for two was plentiful but absolutely tasteless, the fried fish all tasted like nothing, and there were hard curli fries... the shop thrives on the location but not on the quality... it's a shame.

Unfortunately, quality falls by the wayside at the expense of quantity. Fish was pre-fried and not freshly prepared and also cold. Warmed up food at this price..On the table quickly in 5 minutes. No thanks.

Friendly service, food obviously warmed up in the microwave, drowned in oil and completely overpriced, sticky tables. We came because of the good reviews and quickly went back to the hotel toilet because we couldn't tolerate the food.

Food (fish platter for 2 people) was very good, maybe a few fried potatoes too few, but still 5 stars. I also have nothing wrong with the Marlower beer. Prices are within reasonable limits. 5 stars.

Actually just wanted to have a drink outside. Until then it was OK, like any beautifully located beer garden on the Warnow with nice, attentive and courteous service. Unfortunately, our dog was so happy that he knocked down the table and drinks. The extremely nice waiter responded in a very friendly manner, thank you again for that!

First of all, the food came very quickly despite the busy room. We saw the photos on the wall of the win at “my local, your local”. In our opinion it's undeserved. The food was unseasoned ready-made food. Cheapest frozen vegetables and the fries/kibbilinge are hard and worse than at any chip shop. I can't understand why the restaurant is rated so well.

We were guests here twice during our vacation. The food was really very good and the service was also great. We will stop there again when we are in Warnemünde! Please keep it up👍🏼

The food was OK, but nothing special. The restaurant is in a good location and is appropriately furnished, but I give negative points for the ambience because the cleanliness leaves something to be desired. The cushions outside were dirty with duck droppings, so we sat inside. The tables there were all very sticky, as was the menu. The service scored points for that!

After our trip we spontaneously stopped here before heading back. Cozy atmosphere, delicious food and very courteous service. We were here with two small children and still felt very welcome, which is unfortunately no longer a given these days. We would love to come back.

As I often do, I found this restaurant using Google ratings and reviews. It's really nice to see a restaurant with a good rating (4.7 at the time) exceed expectations. The food was top, the service was fair to great, but the best thing was the children's portions. If these are usually of inferior quality, they are in no way inferior to adult dishes. But the best thing: we asked the waiter whether dishes like schnitzel were also available for children. The answer was yes, it costs €5. We thought, oh great, 5€ cheaper than the adult dish, but no, it really only cost 5€!!!! That's what I call excellent customer service where I'm happy to tip generously. An absolute top restaurant!!!

Chose because of the good reviews and was looking forward to fresh fish. Unfortunately it was a big disappointment. Ordered halibut fillet and got a fried piece of fish with lots of bones. Simply dry, every gourmet fillet from the supermarket tastes better. The gnocchi with ricotta filling was almost impossible to identify and certainly not to taste, spinach was not present, contrary to what was stated on the menu. The “fries” with another burger dish we ordered were downright outrageous. These were completely hard-fried pieces of pannade that were probably supposed to be reminiscent of curly fries. Incredible. The fries that were then delivered following a complaint were very good. The service was attentive and obviously sorry, there seems to be something wrong in the kitchen at the moment or at least today. The neighboring tables around us had similar experiences... unfortunately we won't be coming back.

We were guests at Stromgold today. We had a super nice welcome from the service team, which continued throughout the evening. The food was nothing special in my opinion, there is something for everyone, but both of our meals were just average. The only thing that really struck me negatively was the owner's behavior towards his colleagues. He encouraged her to run and just spread stress. Maybe he should appreciate his team more. So conclusion: maybe we'll come back again to have a drink, but we certainly won't eat there again.

We came because of the many positive reviews. Unfortunately some of the food was inedible. My husband has already written a review about this. What was “interesting” was that a waiter turned away all new guests asking if they had reserved, even though there were free tables. If the guests got to the other waiter, they got a table. So it's just a matter of luck :-)

We have been coming to Warnemünde since our own childhood and now with our own child for many years. Two years ago we happened to be playing football in the spa park with the boss and two employees. So we thought we would have a relaxed meal here 😀 Of course, the restaurant is very chic and stylishly decorated. Because of the nice weather we ate outside on the large terrace. We actually recognized a waiter. Both the service and the food are 5 stars. Super nice, fast delivery, food was hot, served properly and absolutely sufficient. Thank you. We'd love to come back! The menu mainly contains fish but also meat and other things. The dishes are freshly prepared...the fried fish is not a frozen raw material...the price is in line with other restaurants. From 8 p.m. there is a happy hour with long drinks, where you can end the evening with a view of the old river. To recommend!

If I advertise a long drink happy hour starting at 10 p.m. (without mentioning days of the week), then I can't say at 10:05 p.m. that this is the last round... At that time there were still just under 10 tables in total proven. After more guests came, at least no one chased us away - which happened to the last newcomers before 10:30 p.m. An unpleasant impression remains.

Very nice service who took great care. Unfortunately the burger took a long time to arrive and came cold. So completely cold with no residual heat. It didn't taste good either.

We were in this restaurant this evening because we stopped there once on vacation last year and were very satisfied. Unfortunately it wasn't like that this time! First of all, the mood in the restaurant was very restless. The waiters seemed very stressed and were running back and forth in the restaurant and to the outside terrace. I ordered a smash burger where the meat was very dry and not smashed. My partner had the salmon fillet with potato gnocchi, seasonal vegetables, terriyaki sauce and lemon. When the plate came for the first time, the taste of the dish was really okay, but the vegetables (except for a small amount) were completely black (burnt). After we told the waiter the plate went back to the kitchen and came again. Now there were new vegetables completely without color. So the defect has apparently been remedied. But the vegetables were not dressed again with the teriyaki sauce and lemon but were simply completely tasteless. As unpleasant as it was, we spoke to the waiter again. He was also very friendly and took the plate with him again. After less than 30 seconds he came back out of the kitchen. Some teriyaki sauce was simply drizzled over the plate. Not panned again or anything like that. Just tipped over it. So unfortunately the taste had nothing to do with how it was before! We were visibly disappointed. The waiter noticed this and brought us a schnapps on the house (without a conversation or anything like that). Since we don't drink alcohol, we unfortunately had to decline it and thanked us for the gesture. Then he came back a short time later with 2 espressos. Since neither of us drink coffee, we unfortunately had to turn it down. (Which was very uncomfortable for us) Then he came back a short time later with 2 glasses of tea on the house. (Which we ultimately accepted) A super nice gesture! Finally, I have to say that the waiter really did a good job, but with a simple conversation or a question: 'Can I do something good for you with a coffee or something similar' the situation wouldn't have become so unpleasant for everyone. The 2 stars go to the waiter, unfortunately the food wasn't convincing. We probably won't come back.

Yesterday we ate with a group of 8 people in the Stromgold restaurant and were completely thrilled. The service was excellent and very attentive. Particularly positive are the huge portions, which really fill everyone up. Our children were also treated to a great surprise, which made the meal an unforgettable experience for the whole family. Highly Recommended!

Very friendly, fast and the food is simply delicious

Very nice atmosphere and the food and cocktails were excellent. I think the prices are normal for the region. The portions were really very large. Had the herring fillets with fried potatoes and my wife had the tagliatelle with salmon. Class! The food was very tasty and can only be recommended. Cocktails are also very good and exactly as you would imagine. Will happily eat here again when we are in the area. Can recommend it unreservedly.

Waited at the table for 20 minutes and no one even came despite waving several times. A pity.

The shop looks great. However, I was convinced of the opposite several times. Drank a cocktail on day 1, very unfriendly service and after a long wait you were served. (She stood chatting with a colleague for 10 minutes). Sent away on day 2 because apparently there was no space. However, there were still several places available and not reserved. Day 3 placed by one waitress and blasted away by another in the most unfriendly manner. A larger group came after me who also hadn't reserved and they got the place. When I asked if another place was available, I was told off in the most unfriendly manner. I've never experienced anything like this (especially since almost everything inside was free). I wouldn't recommend this store to anyone! And the waitresses could be trained in friendliness! Here you are excluded because you want to eat alone! They don't see the customers, just the money. Never again! I can't rate the food because I didn't eat anything. Cocktail was average, nothing special.

The veggie dish “baked cauliflower” was an imposition, actually not edible. This is unacceptable for a restaurant.

We actually like to have a cocktail or a long drink here. However, yesterday evening (8.45 p.m.) we were a little disappointed, we were not allowed to sit outside in the outdoor area because a temporary stop for guests was planned. We were kindly directed to the outdoor seating directly in front of the restaurant. The employee there told us that we could only sit down with a reservation and apologized. There were an excessive number of free seats and tables in both outdoor areas. We didn't quite understand yesterday's procedure to reserve a table for a cocktail? I've never done it before, especially when happy hour is advertised.

You shouldn't sit down here to eat ice cream, the fruit is mushy and a lot of it was sour and the ice cream tastes like cheap discount ice cream. You pay far too high prices for that

The restaurant is really highly recommended. We spontaneously ordered a table for 8:30 p.m. Everything was great, the food was plentiful, fresh and delicious. When we asked if we could get an additional side dish (bread), we did so without hesitation. The service was all very nice and everyone had a good laugh at the waiter's little mishap when he accidentally tipped over a drink. All in all, I'll come back here on my next vacation, I promise. Keep it up and maintain the position and the quality. The price is also very good for the amount of food you get

The food gets (as well as rated) 5 stars from me. Everything was prepared fresh and quickly and tasted great. The sauce with the matjes was particularly tasty. We sat there the whole evening and sipped cocktails. However, I have the impression that the service there is very overwhelmed. Especially in the beer garden. There is no real system and so it often happens that drinks or food are brought to a table that you didn't even order, but are missed somewhere else. There was also a lot of confusion in the final calculation, in the end everything was fine and there were no problems, but it's just stressful. Not just for the customers. Here we should perhaps try to develop a better concept internally. Otherwise you really can't complain about the drinks and food. Delicious! 😋

We spontaneously got a table on Saturday. My sister and I ate the mixed fish platter. It was really very tasty and the portion given for 2-3 people actually corresponded to a portion for 3 people. We were both very full and there was still a lot left over. The service was very friendly and accommodating. The waiter and waitress with a slight accent were super nice. Just like the gentleman who offered us a table. If we come to the area again, we will definitely visit this restaurant again. Despite the stress before the football game, the staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. Thank you very much :) keep it up

Jacket potatoes were gray, spinach wasn't recognizable as such, plaice, well... it tasted like it was from yesterday. The waitress was very nice and tried to smooth things over with a coffee, but we had completely lost our appetite. It was definitely too expensive for nothing.

Stopped here after an eventful day to once again enjoy good German cuisine with fish. The food was freshly prepared and tasted good. The service was very attentive and really friendly. The ambience in the typical North German style together with the relaxed flair makes you want to come back!

Staff was a disaster, food unfortunately arrived after 10 minutes without cutlery and after waiting 1 1/2 hours for drinks we finally left. A pity

Unfortunately, I can't understand the positive reviews. Unfortunately, the food in particular was absolutely not recommended. The starter was extremely bold. Carpaccio with quail egg and fresh truffle, but unfortunately without quail egg and without truffle and also gray in color and not red, so questionable freshness. The special thing about it is that they hadn't forgotten the quail egg or the truffle, but generally seem to serve it without it, but leave it differently on the menu...I find something like that very difficult. For our main course we had plaice and it was completely burnt for all of us. Extremely unfortunate for the fish and disappointing for us too. The fried potatoes weren't a highlight either. Regarding the service, it has to be said that although it was friendly and tried hard, it did not deal with our complaints confidently. The starter, for example, could not be explained to us why it says differently on the menu. However, for the main course the chef came to the table and apologized for the black fried plaice. At the end we got a drink on the house, but to be honest we shouldn't have paid for the starter or the plaice. Overall a very disappointing evening and cannot recommend the food.

Unfortunately, the welcome wasn't quite as warm as usual. We asked for a blanket because we were cold, and it took a lot of time to get it. The Caipi was prepared more lovingly and tasted terrible! I have to say that there was hardly anything going on. Unfortunately not a nice experience there.

Was recommended as a fish restaurant, but unfortunately cannot be confirmed at all! I'm also amazed that there are so many good reviews. The ambience alone was cold and uncomfortable. The wine is served in plastic glasses. I've never experienced that in a restaurant, except at a kiosk. But the level is about right given what we experienced. The menu on the internet had nothing to do with what was actually on offer, which was very disappointing because that was how we chose the restaurant. Then the food was of very poor quality and the response to criticism was very arrogant. Never again!

Food was good, although a bit expensive. Service was inexperienced and a bit too casual, and kind of sloppy (Gucci puffer vest). Music outside was 1. inappropriate and 2. way too loud. It was not possible to have a normal conversation where we were sitting. The request to reduce this to a normal level was answered in the affirmative but not implemented. I feel sorry for the team in the kitchen because they are not to blame for the rating.

My granddaughter liked the food so much that when she was 6 years old she said: Grandma, you have to write a good review. We really enjoyed the plaice fillets and steinbeisser from the very affordable lunch menu. The service was very quick and incredibly friendly, especially Jessy.

We went with a bit of luck and got a table on a Tuesday. However, it was already full, so make a reservation. The wait staff was young, dynamic and immediately there for every request. There is a wide variety of food to choose from and everything was excellent. In fact, the fish was one of the best we've ever eaten. Everything went super quickly and the prices are reasonable. Therefore a clear recommendation and we would come again.

We were there around lunchtime. We sat down in the restaurant and were immediately served in a friendly manner. After a moment's thought, we ordered the following from the lunch menu: HAMBURGER PANNFISCH 3 fish lets, fried potatoes, mustard sauce, bacon & onions €15.00. It was tasty, generously portioned and of good quality. Thanks for that. Did we find the boss’s disturbing? Annoyingly loud business conversations at the next table. We didn't want to know that! So it might be. At the snack bar opposite we would have paid €8 for fried fish and €6 for fries, so I don't have to think about it for long. Clear recommendation.

Friendly welcome in an upscale atmosphere. It's said to be one of the best fish restaurants on the Alten Strom and that was confirmed by our choice of superlekkker dishes 😉 Service top.

Unfortunately, the ice cubes are felt into the glasses by hand. (Outdoor Bar) A “no go”! Actually a good restaurant. Unfortunately the current staff is not good.

Went to see them on Whit Monday on the recommendation of a colleague. Just great... price-performance ratio is right. Food.. Cod and fish platter simply great. And to round it off, the waiter...I think his name is Leo, just to cuddle with. Very attentive, customer oriented, lovely. All of us in our 70s haven't been called "sweethearts" for a long time. Didn't come across as clumsy, just beautiful. Keep it up 👍⚓⛵
