Incredibly unfriendly staff. And therefore unprofessional. These people are friendly to their wealthy (often Swiss) guests, and that's it. HUGELY WEAK

Just great! It was our first time there and it was lovely all around. We spontaneously got a table, but inside, as all the tables on the terrace were occupied. But we were able to move to a table outside later in the evening. The service staff were just great! Everyone was very accommodating and attentive. When there was a small faux pas while eating, we responded very hospitably and apologized without hesitation. The food was also really tasty. Although the price is a bit higher, the quality is also very good. We'd love to come back when we're in Konstanz again.

Super delicious food and a great, quiet location with a fantastic view of Lake Constance. Prices are not cheap, but the food is quality!

We'll try it again on our next vacation! Something went wrong with our pick-up order and we received completely the wrong food. The boss was super friendly, very committed and apologized profusely. After a stressful day, things like that just happen. We are looking forward to our next island vacation and our visit to the Strandbad restaurant.

Pleasant restaurant which mainly serves Italian specialties. The pizzas and pasta were excellent. The restaurant is located directly on the (pebble) beach and on sunny evenings the sunset is magnificent. To recommend.

I think that was our fourth visit to the restaurant and it is rare that the experience gets better and more beautiful with each visit. The team on site was extremely attentive and friendly. There were 7 of us and everything worked without any long waiting times. As expected, the food was delicious! 😌 You more than deserve the 5 stars! Thank you!

A very nice place to take a break

The restaurant is beautifully located on the water. It was busy, but we managed to get a table in the sun as the weather was nice in March. The service is very friendly and attentive, the food came quickly, despite the restaurant being full. We had a bikini salad, a Caesar salad, spaghetti garlic, penne broccoli and bruscetta. It was all very fine. We'd love to come back when we're in the area.

We were clearly advised to sit in the shade, nothing bad in itself, but when we asked for pillows or blankets we were denied these with the statement that there were no more, but were handed out to guests with sunbathing spots without question. Only after repeated requests from another waitress was there any left. When the boss saw this, he just said: “That’s enough for now.” I have rarely experienced less service or felt more uncomfortable. The food contradicts this, although pizzas were not cut, the quality was sufficient. There were also no paper towels or soap in the toilet. The location and view directly on the lake were otherwise very nice. All in all a nice location with subterranean service

Wonderful moment in this Italian-style restaurant, by the water. We were lucky to have a table but in view of the crowds, it is better to reserve.

Quiet location, directly on the beach. Fast and extremely kind service, good dishes and very generous portions.

Unfortunately the service is very poorly organized and you wait forever for drinks, food and the bill. We waited 1 hour 15 minutes for the food. This wasn't the first time we were disappointed with the service. Last time we waited a long time and no drinks came. Actually a nice place with good food and a great view.

An absolutely fantastic location! At sunset there is almost no better place nearby to eat right on the water. The menu ranges from classic, home-style dishes to pizza, steaks and fish, and of course fresh Reichenauer salads are also a must. In the evening it is often very crowded, the service is very quick and so is the kitchen. You can also jump into Lake Constance for a refreshing swim right on site. The restaurant is open all day from 11:00 a.m., so you can also stop by for a cappuccino. A favorite place for us.

Very nice location, and varied menu We were a large group. We all got our food quickly one after the other. Everyone really enjoyed it. Salads were fresh, the pizza was large, thin-based and tasty. The service staff were very attentive and friendly. Price performance is appropriate. Definitely won't be there for the last time.

Everything is right here. The ambience is very nice. Right on the lake and everything is beautifully prepared. The young staff is friendly, attentive and asks if everything is okay. This is what I would like service to be like in a restaurant. Unfortunately, this is often lost these days. Not here. The staff is very attentive even when it's busy. Since I've been there several times and feasted my way through some of the dishes, I can say that everything tastes delicious. I've already had my things packed. From salad, to pasta dishes, pizza,... and everything is fine. The pizza has a super tasty base!

The homemade cevapcici tastes and looks just like the frozen ones you buy in the supermarket. However, the terrace is nice and the cappuccino is good.

I've been there several times with different people and it's always been delicious. I have always found the service to be very friendly and quick. And the atmosphere is simply wonderful, especially when you look at the sunset in the evening. Mosquito season is currently in full swing due to the flooding. I recommend either coming early or taking a mosquito spray with you. It's definitely worth it!

Restaurant in the lido. The lido itself is a little less crowded than the baths on the “mainland” and therefore nicer.

We went here for an ice cream after visiting the lido. The service is very friendly, it's nice to sit on the terrace with a view of the lake. We don't quite understand why the ice cream sundae came so much later than the iced coffee. There are several parking spaces near the lido, I find the fee really steep, €2 per hour and €10 per day.

Friday evening 5.30 p.m. The Diavolo pizza, which was advertised as "spicy", consisted of too few half slices of salami; a hot sauce did not find its way to my table despite repeated requests to the bearded waiter. The pizza was round, the dough was not an experience... During the meal I had to leave the small table because it was needed for a larger group. For guests who did not make a reservation, the table was limited to 30 minutes. As soon as I had finished my beer, I was quickly cashed in with extremely superficial gastrocharm. Hospitality that comes from the heart looks different. No risk of repetition

Absolutely beautiful location with good food and a nice ambience

Not what you would expect from typical outdoor pool gastronomy, but a restaurant at a high level. Not necessarily cheap, but great quality food in a wonderfully beautiful place 👍

We were finally able to get a parking space! Difficult when the public parking spaces are all full. We then parked on the edge of a field, which is actually not allowed. We decided to get two pizzas and eat them on a bench by the lake, while the dog could swim in the lake. The pizza wasn't bad, but I still expected more... A few anchovies adorned the dish and about 10 of those blackened cheap olives that taste like nothing, at least not like an olive... Maybe just don't go shopping at the discount store and try the organic Kalamata olives from a well-known drugstore - a far cry from heaven Difference. In addition, the pizza was incredibly thin in the middle, but there was a lot of edge... It was also badly cut, so we had to "tear" the pizza before enjoying it. So all in all, not a big hit, although of course you can sit beautifully in this restaurant and have a great view of the lake.

Yesterday we got currywurst with fries and fish crispy with fries to take away. The fries were good but there was no salt on them and fries without salt just don't taste good. The fish crispy pearls were good. The currywurst was just disgusting. Eaten one piece and threw the rest away. We suspect she was frozen and thawed.

Great place, but the team leader seemed overwhelmed and hectic due to the large number of visitors. The young staff very friendly and attentive. All tables reserved but no one came. Despite being advised that we were only having a drink, some of the shaded tables could not be used. Too few parasols in full sun.

Wow! I had the best and freshest cannelloni of my life here! The prices are fair, and very important: Meat costs more here than vegetarian dishes, but it is regional. If you treat yourself to meat or fish, at least it will have less impact on the climate. Great, we'd love to come back!

Top restaurant right on the lake. Mixture of Italian and Balkan dishes. Nice and attentive staff. We had grilled vegetables as a starter, meatballs (Lake Constance fish) and grilled skewers. Everything was very tasty and reasonably priced.

My husband and I were here 3 times after the reopening. We were very satisfied with the service and food. The ambience has been breathtaking for tens of years. Today, however, I have to make a criticism because I come from the catering industry myself. We waited at least 30 minutes, even though we frequently gave hand signals to order. Eventually a waitress came to take our order. When the drinks came they weren't filled to the limit, i.e. 0.4 liters. I complained. The waiter, as if he didn't understand anything, just ran away like a monkey, I don't hear anything or see anything. That's not possible because everything has become very expensive anyway. The food was super good and tasty...

Very subpar and rude service. Unfortunately, racist remarks and they do not aim for customer satisfaction. We ordered two beers and a pizza and sat outside. Pizza was an hour late. No apology or anything. When we wanted to pay with card, there were three waitresses waiting around doing nothing. It was another 10 mins waiting so that the so-called boss can come to get the payment. No apology again for being late. When I complained about the order and payment waiting time being late, the service just tells me to be quite as if I were screaming. When I asked why the pizza was late for an hour, they told me that they didn’t think I was ordering a pizza. They apparently thought I was asking a question. I also got instructed how this is not the US and I should then speak German if I want to order there. Totally disrespectful and a a discriminatory boss. They do not deserve a single cent. Do not go if you are a foreigner living in Reichenau. You are not welcome.
