We traveled all the way from Stralsund and felt completely at home! The service was relaxed, warm, and extremely attentive – just the right blend of professionalism and friendliness. The location is simply gorgeous – ideal for relaxing and enjoying yourself. The food was consistently delicious, fresh, and lovingly prepared. The ambiance was also impressive: well-kept interior, stylish but not overly pretentious. Everything was clean and inviting – that's what makes eating out fun! We'll definitely be back.

I mistakenly made a transfer to this account, believing it to be a reputable institution (SCHUFA). However, the money ended up in this restaurant's account. When I called them, I received no support, just a shrugging, "We don't know anything." It's absolutely frustrating and disappointing to be left alone in such a situation. It was a nightmare for me—lost money, no help, no clarity. An experience I wouldn't wish on anyone. Very sad and shocking.

Don't be fooled by the exterior appearance; inside lies a wonderful restaurant. We reserved a table a few days in advance by phone with a friendly young man, with a small request, which was fulfilled. The service was friendly and attentive, but not intrusive. All the dishes were perfect and very tasty. The ambiance, the table settings, and the wonderful view were perfect. We only found one small thing a little off-putting, and that was the mayonnaise and ketchup bottles; they somehow didn't fit (just a side note). What we did like, however, was that guests could help themselves to as much mayonnaise and ketchup as they wanted. We spent a wonderful evening at Otto's Restaurantschiff.

With a table reservation for 6 people, this is a brilliantly located venue for a lovely evening with fantastic food, very fresh and creatively prepared.

We were greedy for a voucher and took the time to enjoy it today. It was packed at lunchtime, but there were still plenty of free seats. Friendly service, pleasant ambiance. The menu has something for every taste. From rustic braised cabbage to culinary delights. We chose dishes from the weekly changing lunch menu and were very satisfied. Plenty and very tasty. It's certainly something to enjoy with a view of the Warnow. The aperitifs are particularly recommended, well-mixed and chilled. Conclusion: Everything was perfect; the restaurant ship is highly recommended. We'll be back: definitely, and not just because there's still plenty left on the voucher.

A beautifully located restaurant with a good selection of dishes. The fish platter for two is particularly recommended. The barraquito, which you normally only find in the Canary Islands, is particularly impressive. The service is also very friendly.

The fish platter for two was plentiful and delicious. We were greeted warmly at the door and immediately given our seating recommendation, which offered us a lovely view of the Warno River while we ate. We arrived without a reservation, and the restaurant was well-attended. Our order was served with minimal wait time, and the fish and side dishes remained pleasantly warm the entire time. We'll be back!

Update 08/2025: Unfortunately, things have gone downhill; the portions are very small for the price. Of the three different types of herring in one menu, only one variety remains (2 pieces), and the other menu, with mashed potatoes and a small piece of salmon, came with a salad without any dressing. It's such a shame, because we've eaten here every time we visit Rostock (several times a year). Yes, we know everything has gotten more expensive; smaller portions would be fine. But the taste is no longer as special as it once was, and that disappointed us.

We didn't have to wait very long for our lunch. Everything was delicious, reasonably priced, and kept us full for the whole day until late in the evening. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We sat outside in a lovely beach chair and were able to fully enjoy the weather and the view ☺️ We'll definitely go back next time we're in Rostock!

It's okay, but nothing exceptional. The meal, cod fillet, was fine. Unfortunately, one friend's Wiener Schnitzel had a large hole in the middle, making it about 15% smaller than the other friend's. It was criticized and replaced. I was surprised, however, that the chef came up shortly afterwards and discreetly asked a member of staff to show him which guest had criticized the meal.

Great food, super friendly service but three areas to be - outside infrastructure of the ship you see just cars and you can observe the kitchen. Other place outside you can spot the Warnow - to recommend in summer and inside at the window if window is open - just brillinat if not outstanding 😉

We went to Otto's ship's restaurant on our first day of vacation, and our choice of dining there didn't disappoint. Everything was delicious except for the hamburger florets, which were unfortunately very hard. Otherwise, there was nothing to complain about. We'll definitely be back sometime!

The conversation with her was not only informative, but also very pleasant and warm. You can tell she's passionate about her job. The food was surprisingly simple – but that's exactly why it was so good! The fish platter was a real highlight: simple, yet perfectly prepared, with absolutely perfect flavor. The side dishes were also well-thought-out and harmoniously balanced – nothing over the top, just what was needed. The price? More than justified for this quality. High praise also goes to the service – Bibi was attentive, friendly, and almost anticipated what you needed. This is exactly what you'd expect from service: present, but never intrusive. All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable visit – uncomplicated, honest, and truly good.♥️

I was thrilled, I really didn't expect it. A nice, straightforward menu with something for everyone. Although it looks like a small boat from the outside, the interior is a miracle of space. The service was excellent; we were a large group, and the young lady handled it all with poise, ease, and style. The kitchen did a fantastic job. It was a very pleasant evening. I was invited there as a guest at a wedding. Wow, the staff there put in so much effort, amazing!!! Apart from the wedding, the restaurant operated as normal downstairs and outside, but there were no restrictions for us. Great decor, amazing food, creative drinks. Thanks to the whole team for making everything possible, especially since there were a few children there. Our group was mostly looked after by Thomas. I know that's unheard of, but he deserves at least a Michelin star. Dear Otto's team, keep up the good work! I'm promoting you all in Berlin.

Great location on the waterfront of Rostock's city harbor. Beautifully decorated. Seating is available inside the boat or on land, with both sunny and shady spots. The service is fantastic, friendly, and attentive. We were very impressed with our meal. We highly recommend the homemade lemonades and the Canarian coffee 😀 When we, from Berlin, are back in Rostock, we'll be happy to come back...

We had a strong wind, and the ship naturally rocked a bit in the harbor. But neither the food nor the ice cream slipped from the plate. The best recommendation is the homemade waffle. The prices are more than fair, the child got a special sausage from the menu, and the waitress joked around with the kids. It might not be an everyday occurrence, but we'll definitely be back.

The food is delicious. The lunch menu has unbeatable prices and I highly recommend it. The staff is friendly, and the experience of eating on a moored ship with a view is fantastic. If I'm ever in Rostock again, I'll be happy to come back.

Very tasty food. It's a bit more expensive, but the location is great on a boat at the city harbor. The appetizer plate for two is highly recommended. Parking is currently a bit scarce due to the circus. For two people, the price was €140, including tip.

I booked for our 20th wedding anniversary, and we were seated at a table that couldn't have been more perfect. A full view of the Warnow River. The food was perfect and spot on. The fish was buttery tender and flavorful, the fried potatoes were divine. The appetizer went perfectly with it: caramelized goat cheese. A dream in itself. I wholeheartedly recommend the restaurant ship. Perhaps we'll see each other there.

We ate there today, and it's usually always good. Today, however, there was a black hair on my asparagus. The waiter took the food away. Not even 5 minutes later, the same food was in front of me again. They had just taken the hair off and served it again. 🤮 Of course, I didn't eat it. They offered dessert (50%) off, sadly... Then I slid down the ramp at the entrance 🙈 because it was so wet from the rain... I won't be eating there again anytime soon.

Truly great! The atmosphere on this restaurant ship is truly cozy, the service is excellent, and the food is delicious. The prices are high, but appropriate for the quality and location.

The location and ambiance are top-notch. The chairs—at least the ones we had—were comfortable. The service was impeccable. We had the mixed fish platter (€49), among other dishes, and were very satisfied. One minor criticism: the salmon fillet was a bit dry. Nevertheless, I definitely recommend it.

A very cozy and sophisticated location by the city harbor. Super friendly, funny, and quick-witted service. The food came extremely quickly. The burger buns here are unusually crispy, but not bad, just a little different. The triple sorbet is a dream. Especially the Cassis Rose. A very special, very intense rose flavor. Be sure to reserve a table!

By chance, I discovered this culinary gem today on my day trip to Rostock. My stomach was rumbling, and the restaurant ship beckoned with its fantastic waterfront location. I was warmly greeted as I entered the restaurant and was given a table with a fantastic view of the water. I was pleasantly surprised that all the herbs here seem to be freshly grown. I've never experienced anything like this before, but I wish many other establishments would follow suit. The food served was not only a true feast for the eyes, it also tasted divine and the portion size was just the right size for me. If I ever come back to Rostock, I now know where I can satisfy my hunger well and at a reasonable price. Thank you very much for this experience. I'd be happy to come back.
