A nice restaurant with fine cuisine. In addition to fish and meat, vegetarian options and classics like Senfei are also offered. The service was excellent. We had a very pleasant evening at Otto's.

Great location and great service 👍 there is still room for improvement when it comes to food. Beef carpaccio a bit small and the cream tasteless, burger buns too firm and small, creme brulee too runny. We sat downstairs and it was just too loud. Nevertheless, it was a nice evening 😁 many thanks to the team.

It will be my favorite place when I'm home. Not really noticeable from the outside but inside it's a dream. Whether it's a party...no matter what kind, you can celebrate really well there. Or just two to chat. The two levels offer plenty of space. And when it's colder the fireplace is on fire 😅our class reunion was the perfect meeting point there. Thanks

Great restaurant ship and if you get a window seat you have a great view. Great food, I had the Kutterburger, and fair prices. The staff is also super friendly. Was there spontaneously and got a table without a reservation. But it was also on a Tuesday. I'll definitely come back here.

On the outside doesn’t look very fancy, bin inside is super cosy, staff is friendly and food is delicious. We accidentally went there when the first floor was hosting s wedding so we got some wedding party vibes as well. Our 5 year old also liked the kids menu. Was a bit noisy due to s big group seated next to us.

A top restaurant with incredibly friendly service and extremely good food. The prices were completely justified. And the homemade lemonade is an absolute highlight. You probably don't need to reserve a table during the day, but it is recommended for the evening hours.

Yes, good location, food is good, potatoes were black. The bad thing is that the cellars don't care, they carry the food to the guest so charred. Something like that doesn't work at all. The reaction to the criticism was again great, there was a crème brulee for free.

A great restaurant, are here once a year during our vacation. The service staff are great and also look after children very lovingly. The food is great. Price performance is great. Anyone who is ever in Rostock should go there.

Great restaurant on the Warnow. We just wanted to warm up a little. We returned with our dog Teddy. He was immediately given a bowl of water. My wife has a very good coffee and I ordered a hot chocolate. It was the best hot chocolate I've had so far - I immediately ordered a second one. The ambience is exemplary - a wonderful view over the Warnow. The service was excellent - very attentive and friendly staff. When we are back in Rostock we will stop by again.

It was a really delicious meal! The service was great, all extra requests were solved with “no problem”. Even two flavors of ice cream were formed into one ball from the children's ball because the little one couldn't decide. Thank you!! We'd love to come back! It was super tasty.

Simply a nice location for a restaurant. The restaurant is stylishly furnished and designed to be open, bright and inviting. The service is friendly and accommodating. The food is very tasty. We can especially recommend the Belgian waffles as dessert. If you are looking for an unusual location to eat, this is the right place. By the way, it is highly recommended to reserve in advance. We will definitely come back. Edit: After three years of small downgrade, unfortunately the food for the price is no longer of the same quality as before. Overall prices are a bit high these days - bottled beer costs over 6 euros. But the waffles are still good. :)

We came across the restaurant by chance on the way to Warnemünde and didn't look back. Staff very friendly, food is very tasty and a very nice view.

We were there for brunch. The buffet was great and the service was very attentive. The cherry on top of the sundae is of course the great location with a fantastic view. Absolutely recommended!

Great service and great ambience. Unfortunately the food doesn't come with it. For example with schnitzel. 25€ for an average schnitzel with canned mushrooms.

A great restaurant, sat with a view towards Warnemünde, ate coffee and ice cream. It tasted very good. There's definitely a great atmosphere here in the evening, I can only recommend it.

Unique location that doesn't rest on its laurels. We had a burger and a schnitzel and it tasted excellent. In addition, the service staff was extremely friendly and attentive. This restaurant is highly recommended when visiting Rostock.

Tasty food, very pleasant atmosphere inside, but our group waited an hour for the previously ordered meal. We were tired after the whole day and the waiting was really annoying.

Clear recommendation - 5 stars We had our wedding dinner on Otto's restaurant ship on January 31, 2025 and it went just perfectly. From the friendly preliminary discussion with honest and customer-oriented advice to the wedding day, it was perfect for us personally. We knew beforehand that the food was high quality and delicious and this was confirmed again. The location in combination with the decoration, great service and the table buffet gave us a wonderful wedding afternoon. Many thanks to the whole team and especially to our “main waiter”, who also impressed with his sympathy and humor. Thank you very much, you played a big part in the success of our wedding day.

Unfortunately we only got seats on the lower deck. The table was quite small for four adults. The food was well prepared, but the taste was more like 4 stars. I really liked the service.

A wonderful restaurant with a cozy atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious food. Pleasant prices. We ordered a fish plate for two - a very tasty and filling dish. Unfortunately, one of the 6 pieces of fish had bones, but for some reason I don't think this happens often. Enjoyed the evening at this restaurant.

There are special days with events in the evening including food, so call ahead to see if there is space in the restaurant. For two with a starter and main course, plus several drinks, we spent €85. Highly recommended.

A big compliment to the team and the kitchen at Otto's Restaurantschiff. I was able to easily modify my dish a little and change ingredients due to a change in diet. Tastes very good. So far I can only say good things, I'll be happy to come back and definitely recommend it to others.

Very tasty food. It's a little more expensive, but a great location at the city harbor on the boat. The starter plate for two is highly recommended. Parking spaces are currently in short supply because of the circus. For two people we were at €140 including tip.

A motivated crew on deck ensures a very good feel-good atmosphere, so that a quick look can turn into a loooong stay. The food is regional and international, the price is very consistent with the product. We will visit this steamer again when we stay in Rostock.

Good value for money with small drawbacks" We went to Otto’s Restaurantschiff for lunch and found the price-performance ratio really good. The portions were large and the prices were very fair. Unfortunately we weren't entirely impressed with the taste as the food was a bit too salty. The drinks were good. A small point of criticism is the toilet situation - if the restaurant is full it could be problematic. Overall, a solid experience – quite okay!

...great seating, great food (fish platter for 2), tasty Rostocker Zwickel... Unfortunately it was already dark, but there was a nice view of the city harbor. The staff was TOP, attentive with a bit of humor 👍 This time just as tasty, or even tastier...🤔 For the first time I read "shovel roast" or something like that on the menu... Ordered at the table and the bite I was able to taste was divine... So Rostock doesn't always have to be fish. There was also a charming waiter who, after the main course was finished, agreed to share the dessert (if it was too much) with the guest... But maybe it was just my gorgeous lady at the table, who is just as sweet as the orange crème Brulee... (or rather bitter sweet...?) It was a great evening in a beautiful atmosphere with excellent food and great company and great service..., or vice versa...? 😉 In any case, still highly recommended 👍👍👍 therefore gladly 5⭐

It was a slightly different atmosphere. Restaurant on the water. It was good. However, the spaghetti had been in the cooking water for a very long time.

We went for brunch, very tasty: food fresh, tasty and rich. The view of Rostock, the harbor, the water is wonderful... We have one suggestion: since the buffet is downstairs and you constantly have to go down when you're sitting upstairs, we would like something to be set up upstairs too. 2 tables less and upstairs, for example. B. Fruit and a reduced menu with a note that there are more food and drinks downstairs. Otherwise everything was great and the service was also quite accommodating. We'll definitely come back.

I booked a place in the restaurant at short notice, which is also recommended as this restaurant is always very busy. The reservation was no problem for 2 people, lunchtime in the middle of the week despite many guests. (It was mid-December and therefore Christmas time with many company dinners). The service was super nice and very service-oriented. The food was plentiful and very well prepared. The taste hit the mark for me! A clear recommendation from me! If you want to eat really well at affordable prices, this is the place for you! 👍🏼

Unfortunately we are very disappointed with the agreement with the boss. In July we talked about the 70th birthday at a dinner on site and also decided on the choice of table. Since we were the first ones for today's appointment, we were able to choose. Two calls confirmed the arrangements! This morning the sad surprise, different tables, worse seating arrangement, contrary to all agreements. And for a big birthday! As a result, the mood among the organizers was in the basement! And there was no way the staff could save the situation and there wasn't a specific contact person on site either.

This restaurant is culinary special. The starters, the main courses and the desserts… simply a culinary delight. Worth mentioning is the nice and friendly service. Reservation made sense. There was great demand on Christmas Day. It was also very crowded.

The only thing that tasted “normal” was the mineral water. Everything else was fantastic. We had the generous bread basket with aioli, among other things, followed by the fish platter for two and, for dessert, a chocolate cake and a Belgian waffle. Everything was wonderfully prepared and simply really tasty. We also chose the Primitivo as a red wine, which was also ok. The atmosphere was cozy, the staff was simply friendly. We felt very comfortable and can recommend this restaurant with a clear conscience.

Today our family met for Advent brunch at Ottos. The food left nothing to be desired, it looked delicious and tasted great too! We were served very friendly and felt very comfortable. Our favorites were the potato casserole, red cabbage with duck and potatoes and lastly the strawberry cake. Unfortunately we couldn't try everything, so we'll be back soon! We came here on a recommendation and it was really worth it. The food was very good, the service was very nice, a little slow, but given how busy it was, that's no wonder. We would love to come back and are looking forward to it.

Otto’s offers a wonderful ambience that invites you to relax and enjoy. The service is friendly and attentive, which makes the time really pleasant. The quality and preparation of the food is also impressive. However, the menu is unfortunately lacking in seasonal surprises. There are always the same, slightly modified dishes, which is both confusing and disappointing, especially during the Christmas season. Instead of a culinary variety, it's just the duck leg - which is certainly tasty, but too small for good eaters. Perhaps, as other restaurants do, the chef could expand his culinary creativity a little and conjure up more variety on the plates that honor the special time. Otherwise, you eat what you already had at Easter or in summer or autumn. And that gets monotonous at some point. A little more variety and seasonal highlights would give this otherwise wonderful restaurant the finishing touch and give it full marks. Maybe the chef will surprise us with one or two additional dishes at least for Christmas - we'll stay tuned!

The food is delicious, the portions are generous, and the atmosphere and service are really warm. The presentation of the dishes is also very appealing and you can tell that the cooking here is done with love. However, I think it is a bit cold in the restaurant, which spoils the overall impression a little. With a warmer room temperature it would be perfect!

Unfortunately the fish was cool on a warm plate. Quality was top regarding the garnished dishes. Selected foods also have a very good quality in terms of taste. Only the temperature causes a star deduction. I have to say it was very crowded. Prices are appropriate for the quality and absolutely in line with the market.

We had a work party there, food and non-alcoholic drinks were excellent. It was very stormy that evening and rocked a lot, but it was bearable. Toilets very clean...it has to be said. In general it was just great and the atmosphere was something special 😁

Very cozy, great food and good service

We were invited to a birthday dinner and had a great place with a view of the Warnow and Gehlsdorf. We ate roulades from the lunch menu. Four of us agreed that it was very tasty and the price was right. At around 1 p.m. the restaurant was full and we noticed that there were a lot of regular customers. The service also impressed us. We will come back more often!

Landed there by chance on a Tuesday evening and was lucky. Actually everything was reserved, but we can still take two places for a certain period of time. And to our surprise, the restaurant was consistently very busy. And not on weekends and with slightly higher prices. But it was worth every penny. The food was very tasty, the staff and atmosphere were wonderful.
