Momentan vermutlich die beste Küche auf Wangerooge! 😋 Die Auswahl war ansprechend und jedes Gericht ein Volltreffer. Auf die Empfehlungen der zuvorkommenden Gastgeber war Verlass. Auf die Bedürfnisse von Kindern wird geradezu vorbildlich Rücksicht genommen. Ich nehme von unserem Abend im «Krüsch» nur positive Erinnerungen mit.

Weniger als 5* könnten einfach nicht vergeben werden. Erste Wahl bei der Frage nach einem guten Restaurant auf Wangerooge. Essen, Service und Ambiente auf höchstem Niveau. Auf Wangerooge der Place to be. Modern, aber nicht modisch. Wie sich das im Norden gehört.

Super Essen in Toplage. Koch und Service kennen sich auch mit Zöliakie aus. Glutenfrei ist kein Problem

Auf diesem Wege nochmal herzlichen Dank an das gesamte Team für das hervorragende Essen, den Service und die herzliche Athmosphäre bei Euch. Wir hatten als Vorspeise eine Antipastiplatte die wie alles andere auch ganz frisch zubereitet war. Allein diese Vorspeise ist schon einen Besuch wert. Dann kamen die Hauptgerichte, Risotto mit isländischem Lachsfilet und Tim's Ente mit Kartoffelstampf und Rotkohl und Tim's Jus. einfach ein Traum. Als Dessert gab es dann Creme Brulet. Mit jedem bissen haben wir die frische und die, im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes, "Kochkunst" genossen. So wird Essen gehen zu einem Erlebnis. Wundervolles Eventcatering! Das vom Brautpaar gewünschte vegane Buffet war einfach nur hervorragend und sehr vielfältig. Es braucht keine Ersatzprodukte, wenn Gemüse so perfekt zubereitet wird! Auch wenn ich schon über 10 Jahre vegan lebe, habe ich selten so gut in einem Restaurant gegessen. Die rote Beete mit Cashew Parmesan, das Spargelrisotto und der Blumenkohl einfach traumhaft. Dazu noch ein super hilfsbereiter Service bei dem auch die kleinen Gäste liebevoll umsorgt werden und sogar spontan eine Rückzugsmöglichkeit bei der Hochzeitsparty ermöglicht wird. Dankeschön für den tollen Abend 👌🏽💚

Als Hochzeits-DJ habe ich schon in vielen Locations gearbeitet – das Krüsch gehört zu den Häusern, in denen einfach alles ineinandergreift. Es war meine erste Hochzeit auf Wangerooge, logistisch also kein Selbstläufer. Das Team hat von der ersten Minute an mitgedacht, und die Abstimmung zwischen Service und DJ lief, als hätten wir das schon ein Dutzend Mal zusammen gemacht. Dazu ein veganes Buffet mit einer Auswahl, die selbst die Gäste überzeugt hat, die sonst eher Fleisch auf dem Teller erwarten. Brautpaar glücklich, Abend rund, alles am richtigen Platz. Danke ans ganze Team – ich komme jederzeit gern wieder.

Alles perfekt und superlecker! Als Gruß aus der Küche gab es selbstgebackenes Brot mit Aioli. Danach hatten wir eine Gemüsecremesuppe mit Kräuterschaum und als Hauptgang Spargelrisotto mit Kabeljau. Auch der hausgemachte Eistee war hervorragend, und der Service war, wie schon bei unserem letzten Besuch, ausgezeichnet. Hier gibt es hervorragend abgestimmte Speisen aus hochwertigen Zutaten.

Das beste Restaurant auf Wangerooge! Vom Service wie von den Speisen top. Junge Küche auf obersten Niveau, hier steht der Gast noch absolut im Mittelpunkt! Keine überladene Speisekarte und keine doppelte Tischvergabe am Abend!

Leider kann ich zum Essen und Ambiente nichts sagen, da das Lokal geschlossen war, obwohl wir einen Tisch reserviert hatten und auch eine Reservierungsbestätigung erhalten haben. Ich hatte zuvor einen Gutschein bestellt, bezahlt und bekommen, der an dem Abend eingelöst werden sollte. Einige Tage später war ich im Lokal und habe mit einem Mitarbeiter gesprochen, der mir versicherte, dass sich die Chefin melden würde. Das hat sie leider nicht getan. Auch auf meine anschließende Mail habe ich bis heute keine Antwort erhalten. Schade! Der Gutscheinbetrag verfällt nun wohl - kann also nur davon abraten, Gutscheine dort zu kaufen oder einen Tisch zu reservieren. Nachtrag: Inzwischen hat sich Frau Pfister per E-Mail bei mir entschuldigt, den Vorgang eingeräumt und die Rückerstattung des Gutscheinbetrags angeboten. Das begrüße ich ausdrücklich. Der ursprüngliche Vorfall bleibt zwar ärgerlich, aber die Angelegenheit wurde nun immerhin nachvollziehbar aufgegriffen.

Wir hatten einen spitzen Abend! Das Essen war hervorragend und vor allem wurden wir vom Service sehr umsorgt, das hat uns gut gefallen.

Im Restaurant Krüsch auf Wangerooge habe ich einen rundum sehr schönen Abend verbracht. Man merkt sofort, dass hier mit viel Liebe, hochwertigen regionalen Zutaten und echtem handwerklichen Anspruch gearbeitet wird. Ich hatte die argentinischen Rotgarnelen in Knoblauchöl mit Baguette sowie die knusprige Ente mit Rotkohl und Kartoffelstampf. Beides wirklich hervorragend zubereitet und geschmacklich auf hohem Niveau. Für meinen persönlichen Geschmack waren die Gerichte etwas kräftig gewürzt, hier könnte man den Salzgehalt minimal reduzieren. Das ist aber wirklich nur ein kleiner Hinweis und sicherlich sehr individuell. Der dazu gewählte Sauvignon Blanc hat perfekt gepasst und das Essen wunderbar ergänzt. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich den Service: ein unglaublich freundlicher netter junger Mann, aufmerksam und immer mit einem Lächeln. Insgesamt ein Restaurant, das hält, was es verspricht: Herzlichkeit, Qualität und echtes Genusshandwerk. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Besser hätte mein Urlaub auf Wangerooge nicht enden können. Das Restaurant Krüsch ist ein echtes Highlight – man schmeckt die Qualität und fühlt sich wohl und willkommen. Wellness für den Gaumen und für Seele trifft es perfekt. Ich freue mich schon jetzt auf das nächste Mal🥰

Jetzt, Mitte Februar war nicht viel los und wir hätten gar nicht reservieren müssen sondern konnten uns einen Tisch aussuchen. Ist später im Jahr wahrscheinlich anders. Sehr aufmerksame und nette Bedienung. Gute Alternativ-Vorschläge, wenn jetzt in der Nebensaison nicht alles da war (wie der Sangiovese und Negroamaro Rotwein anstelle des Puglia Primitivo).

I wish we had filtered the reviews before our visit and read the management's responses to the negative ones… During our visit, she reacted exactly the same way: She came to our table with a plate that had already been cleared, hadn't been finished (but also hadn't been complained about), and wanted to know who had left it and why it hadn't been eaten. She wasn't interested in the answer at all. Instead, she launched into a tirade in the style of the review responses. The highlight was her statement: If we wanted bad food, we should eat at home.

Great restaurant with delicious food: Prices are on the higher side, but the quality justifies the cost. The atmosphere is also very nice. Unfortunately, the service was lacking; we often had to wait a long time to order.

We had dinner here one evening during our vacation. The welcome and service were very friendly. The ambiance was fantastic. We ordered a three-course meal, which was excellent. At our request, the wine was split between two glasses of 0.1 l. We felt very comfortable, and the food was excellent. We will definitely come again.

On the first day of our vacation, I ate at Krüsch with my mother and my three sisters, right on the North Sea – and it was a perfect experience all around! The ambiance is cozy and stylish, the food is fresh and prepared with great attention to detail, and the service was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. We were so impressed that we absolutely had to repeat the experience during our vacation. Delicious, delicious – highly recommended!

Top Restaurant with great service. We had a blast!

We went there twice. Both times, the food was truly amazing. Whether vegetarian, meat, or fish, everything was delicious. It's a shame that there are relatively few fish dishes, and the shrimp, for example, didn't even come from Europe. It's more multicultural than German cuisine, so if you're looking for food that's more typical of this region, you might be a bit disappointed. But what they make tastes fantastic. I can only recommend it and look forward to going back on my next stay in Wangerooge.

We had dinner here this week for our wedding with around 20 people and also used the restaurant for the champagne reception after the ceremony, and it was a dream. The food—both meat and fish, as well as vegetarian options—was fantastic—everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The same goes for the appetizers and desserts. The service was truly outstanding; everyone was extremely kind and friendly, and they catered to our every need. We were all very, very satisfied and thank you for the wonderful evening.

Krüsch presents itself as a restaurant for upscale tastes. The location directly by the sea is excellent. We received a friendly welcome, but were in for a surprise: Because the staff was ill, they said, they were only serving outside, so we couldn't take our reserved table inside. A fresh north wind blew, making it quite chilly outside at times. The staff therefore provided blankets. Our meal, a salt-crusted salmon with pickled samphire on a bed of bulgur wheat for €34 and a vegetable curry for €26, was good but not exceptional. Wines by the glass started at around €12 for 0.2 liters. The Primitivo we chose was pleasantly dry, not particularly aromatic, but fine for the curry accompaniment. The service was unfortunately quite slow. Conclusion: For a restaurant of this (price) range, it was too little that evening. Due to the absence of staff, I would only deduct one point and hope that – if it comes to that – things will be better on future visits.

By far the best restaurant on the entire island. Very nice and attractive interior, you can also sit outside, and they have plenty of space. The food is excellent, very good value for money, the dishes are lovingly and well-prepared, and the quantities are absolutely sufficient. The good wine selection is also nice; in other restaurants on the island we visited, they serve standard, sour wines like Chardonnay and Pino Grigio, which mostly taste sour and bland. Krüsch is truly in a whole different league! Krüsch was already an absolute highlight during our visit last year, and it's nice that the quality and excellent service have remained consistently good. Unfortunately, this isn't the case with many restaurants on the island; several have gone downhill significantly (for example, "our boat"). We highly recommend Krüsch and hope it stays on the island for many more years to come!

Disappointing visit – unfortunately no longer recommended We've been to Krüsch on Wangerooge several times over the past few years and have always been very impressed – the vegan selection was especially commendable back then. We were all the more disappointed on our current visit. We received an unfriendly welcome as soon as we entered: We'd barely walked through the door when the manager told us to hang our coats in the coat rack because it doesn't look nice hanging over the chairs. A warm welcome doesn't look like much. Unfortunately, this tone continued throughout the entire evening. A garlic allergy experienced by one of our group wasn't addressed with the flexibility expected at this price point – perhaps not making a dish 100 percent according to the menu? None of this. The service also left us with the feeling that we were significantly neglected compared to the other guests. At the end, we were told that the only vegan dessert was no longer available – which, to be honest, we could hardly believe. Years ago, the vegan selection was a huge plus, but now there's hardly anything left: a vegan main course, that's it. Very disappointing for a restaurant that once presented itself as open and modern. We also had to wait quite a long time for everything – only the bill came quickly at the end. Everything gave us the impression that they were trying to get rid of us as soon as we entered the restaurant. And with all that, the prices were surprisingly high considering the declining quality of service, the greatly reduced selection for certain dietary requirements, and the lack of flexibility. The only positive thing: The curry tasted good again this year – but that alone isn't enough to overlook the many negative impressions. We will refrain from visiting in the future.

A super nice restaurant. When the weather's nice, you can sit outside on the terrace or on the promenade with a fantastic view of the beach and sea. When it's windy or rainy, the restaurant offers plenty of lovingly designed space inside. Very friendly service, accommodating individual requests and also offering additional vegan options. It's worth asking. For children, for example, there's delicious pasta, which our daughter devoured completely both times. All in all, 5/5 stars We stayed at Krüsch twice this holiday and immediately recommended it to others. We'd love to come back on our next vacation. All the best to Anna and the team!

Restaurant Krüsch is the place for fine dining in Wangerooge, located directly on the promenade with a view of the sea. Top-notch service and delicious food. My wife had the fish soup with a hint of Indian flavor. Absolutely outstanding. I had duck dumplings with roasted cabbage. The duck was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and I couldn't make dumplings better myself. Freshly made red cabbage still had a bit of a bite. And all of this in a wonderful atmosphere in the restaurant. We truly felt like guests. We highly recommend Krüsch if you're willing to pay a little more for fine dining.

A beautiful restaurant right on the promenade. Anna and her team are super friendly. They cater to every need. Even on chilly days, they offer blankets so you can enjoy the sunset on the beautiful terrace.

The seating is very pleasant, and the food is also very tasty, although the portion prices aren't quite reasonable. The Asian fish soup had six small pieces of fish for €22, and the €16 glass of red wine is also quite expensive. There are relatively few dishes, which is fine, but there were always two or three out of stock, which severely limited the selection with only two meat dishes.

Hey, We'll definitely be back! Everything's perfect at Anna's. The shrimp are fantastic, and so is the dessert. A feast for the eyes and the palate. The service can't be topped either. And you have to try the strawberry punch to know what strawberry punch should taste like. Of course, you pay accordingly for such quality, but the effort can't be worth more than that. And something we'd also like to particularly praise: the smoking ban, even on the terrace. Here, the guest is king. Thank you very much!

Do it! We ate here for the first time during our vacation on Wangerooge, and it was FANTASTIC. The starter, main course, and dessert were all fantastic. Even the coffee was good. We enjoy good food, and this restaurant easily made it into our top 5. The individual components were complex, but not overly elaborate. The dishes were well-rounded, the portion sizes generous, and when I think back on them, my mouth still waters. The service was incredibly warm yet unobtrusive. The prices are, of course, a bit higher than everywhere else on the island—but here, every cent is worth it! So, if you're standing in front of the menu or googling restaurants on Wangerooge and wondering whether you want to treat yourself—do it!

So, fresh from this evening, We had already reserved our table before arriving at Wooge and were looking forward to the evening. We were not disappointed in the slightest. A super-motivated team, with a very tasteful location. A small but very fine menu where you can tell that it's either fresh or it's not there... (Today, someone actually finished the herring tartare before us ;-) ) From the first to the last minute, we were looked after in a friendly but not intrusive manner, and the food was simply fantastic. A little tip if you can't get a table at Krüsch: the team opened a burger bar next door, and we already tried it on Monday, and they're amazing... So there are no excuses for an unfortunately awesome evening... Thanks to the team, we'll see you again. P.S.: Everyone can have one, but we were there again yesterday and it was still amazing... ``` OK, the herring still hadn't swum past the island, but the homemade strawberry punch totally beat it... The rest was perfect, as always... Anyone who's been to Wangerooge and hasn't "krüscht" missed the best bits.

We've been staying at these familiar premises since 2022. Very courteous, professional staff. Fine cuisine. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return.

We visited this fantastic restaurant on May 17, 2025. The day before, we had reserved a table for 6:30 p.m. because we had won a voucher for two people to Krüsch in the Advent giveaway. The restaurant and the outdoor area are very attractive and beautifully decorated. Our jackets were taken from us at the entrance and taken to the coat rack. Afterwards, we were offered a very nice table facing the terrace. Anna, the owner, then handed us beautifully designed wooden menus. The selection was simply fantastic and filled with some truly amazing dishes. Here, you could tell that the kitchen places great value on first-class ingredients. The choice wasn't easy for us, so we opted for a pan for two with Argentinian red shrimp. It was served with garlic bread and a wonderful colorful salad. The wine selection was also first-class and left nothing to be desired. We were absolutely thrilled with the excellent food, the wine, and the wonderful evening. Our dog was also allowed to join us in the restaurant, which we found very pleasant. Many thanks to Anna and the team for the wonderful experience. We will definitely return to this place on our next vacation to Wangerooge.

The day before yesterday, we were at the new Krüsch restaurant on the promenade on Wangerooge. We had made a reservation the day before and arrived promptly at 7 p.m. The restaurant is very attractive, tastefully, and brightly decorated. The service was also exceptionally good; our jackets were immediately taken and taken to the cloakroom. Our table was also beautifully set. We both ordered a set menu, but I was able to make some adjustments without any problem. The quality and taste of the various dishes were outstanding. You immediately notice that the food used here is first-class. The wine list also leaves nothing to be desired. In any case, we were thrilled with the great food and the successful evening. The old Krüsch at the last location was also excellent, and this one now also has a beautiful view of the sea. Dogs are also welcome there. We will definitely be back. The lobster ravioli with crustacean foam were a real delicacy :-) We recommend a wine pairing from the sommelier, perfect wines for the respective course. The ambience is wonderful with a view of the North Sea and we had such wonderful hours there in the Krüsch. We are really looking forward to our next visit.

Very nice restaurant with a great terrace! Very lovingly furnished with special offers. We had waffles, tea time and lunch and were always amazed by the quality and attention to detail that Anna and her team serve! We will definitely come back and are already looking forward to it!

We were there for dinner with 3 people and thoroughly enjoyed it! Super friendly, courteous and relaxed service, brilliant food in beautiful, tasteful surroundings - all in all the best restaurant during our stay.

Very tasty food. Small card and something different than the usual. Unfortunately, during our visit the staff was overloaded and we had to wait a long time for drinks and food.

We can only recommend Krüsch. A really great location with nice service and excellent cuisine. A visit to Krüsch is definitely planned for our next stay in Wangerooge.

Das Team ist mit Können und Überzeugung bei der Sache. Durchdachte Menüs und Einzelgerichte, die man so auch auf dem Festland nicht oft findet. Handgemachtes und Bio-Produkte haben ihren Preis, der im Krüsch mehr als gerechtfertigt ist. Wir kommen wieder!

We were at Krüsch Essen with 6 people. The service is great and also positively relaxed. Any wishes regarding food are addressed directly and you can always find something that you like to eat. The quality of the food is great and the kitchen does a great job. The portions are sufficient, which you don't always expect given the prices, as higher prices don't always mean enough to eat. 😉 Of course the price is a little higher for an island like Wangerooge, but since the price-performance ratio is right, everything is ok. If we're on the island again, we'll come back

Endlich! Großartige Küche, sehr schöne Location und extrem freundliches Personal auf Wangerooge! Hat in dieser Kombination hier jahrelang gefehlt… Hat Syltniveau, ohne Schickimicki aber dennoch perfekt! Die Preise sind etwas höher, aber ein Matjestartar ist eben auch kein frittiertes Hühnchenfleisch… Ein Grund, wieder häufiger nach Wangerooge zu fahren - ihr habt der Insel gefehlt und sie hat euch verdient!

It was a very nice evening with excellent hospitality. We were there on December 30th, 2024 and asked in the afternoon whether there would be a place for us (5 people) in the evening. Although the restaurant was actually fully booked, we were still able to get a seat and we were given a really warm welcome in the evening. In short, everything was excellent and we would love to come back!

Today, on Christmas Day 2023, we spent the evening with you and enjoyed wonderful food that was made and served with a lot of love and care. Top quality in a stylish atmosphere. This year you moved the Krüsch from “Zedeliusstrasse” to the old Strandlust premises in the “Obere Strandpromenade” and gave it a unique redesign. Most of the tables are now by the window and almost all have a perfect view of the sea. Now in winter you have decorated a part of the restaurant as a winter market with cozy bales of straw and everything that goes with a good winter market: delicious punch and delicious homemade waffles, kale soup or goulash and stollen. Your restaurant offers by far the best cuisine on Wangerooge! Your dishes are of such sophistication - the products are always fresh, the preparation is at the highest level, the decoration is made with love. Since Anna and David are sommeliers, you always have the best wine pairing for your food. But the most important thing for us is you! You welcome your guests with such charm and friendliness - you won't find that twice on Wangerooge! It makes no difference whether guests are visiting you for the first time or are repeat visitors. New Year's Eve menu (8 courses, therefore a little more expensive, but worth every cent). Excellent food, good wines, nice atmosphere, very friendly and ambitious staff. Anna and David in particular deserve special mention. She embodies hospitality with a very warm manner and provides competent, unpretentious service. Chapeau. A special evening.

Das "Krüsch" - mein absolutes Highlight (nicht nur) auf Wangerooge. Selbstgebackenes Brot, noch warm, duftet. Die Feta-Crème brûlée mit Mango-Chili-Chutney an fruchtig-frischem Wildkräutersalat - ein Gedicht. Exzellente Weinempfehlung des Winzer-Sommeliers. Service ausgezeichnet, mit Blick für individuelle Bedürfnisse des Gastes. Bei aller Perfektion eine unbeschwerte, Genuss versprechende Verwöhn-Atmosphäre. Fazit: "Kehr wieder".

Anyone who gets upset about the fact that everything isn't always available on an island probably doesn't understand the principle of fresh, high-quality cuisine. If you want freshness and quality, you have to accept that not every dish is available in unlimited quantities. And when it comes to prices – Krüsch is not a canteen and certainly not a fast food restaurant. There is no frozen currywurst to warm up here, but real, honest cuisine. So yes, the Krüsch has its price, and you have to be willing to afford it. Quality and taste at the highest level – that is the standard here. If you find this too expensive, you might want to stick to places that place less emphasis on quality. Marco

Wir hatten einen äußerst genussvollen Abend in wohliger Atmosphäre, zuvorkommendem Service, hammergeilen Speisen und erlesenen Weinen.

Very, very tasty, high quality food, prepared with great attention to detail. We particularly liked it and that vegans also get their money's worth. (Which is often difficult in holiday resorts) It is often so easy to turn a vegetarian dish into a vegan one. This is implemented brilliantly here.

Tolle Lokation, wir wurden sehr nett empfangen. Das Essen war sehr hochwertig und absolut etwas Besonderes. Sehr zu empfehlen. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis absolut ok. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Sehr zuvorkommender und freundlicher Empfang. Wir entschieden uns für das vegetarisches Menü. Die Speisen wurden nach angemessener Wartezeit die mit einem Gruß aus der Küche überbrückt wurde für das Auge sehr ansprechend gereicht. Das rote Beete Carpaccio war sehr schmackhaft. Es wurde vom Pilz Risotto noch etwas übertroffen. Der krönende Abschluß war dann das Vanilleeis mit fruchtigen Beeren. Die empfohlenen Weine passten perfekt zum Menü. Hier schmeckt man wirklich das mit Herz gearbeitet wird. IWur können einen Besuch uneingeschränkt empfehlen und kommen gern wieder

When you enter the Krüsch you are greeted with a big smile, we were so excited, my Krüsch daughter also just got her buttered noodles with parmesan, the wine was excellent, the food was simply delicious. The salad is fresh with a bit of sweetness. Delicious bread with delicious dips. The Créme Brûllé is a poem. We'll be back.

Two visits within 4 days. The first visit impressed us so positively that we wanted to come back straight away. The food was freshly cooked, tasty and reasonably priced. Special requests (allergies) were easily addressed and taken with appropriate care. The service was also not objectionable. Big praise to the boss and her team. We will definitely come back again. If the transit from the mainland wasn't a bit expensive, I would say it's worth a visit just for the food. So you just have to do something else on the island first.
