We went out to eat spontaneously this evening. I had expected more based on the ambiance. The wait was very long, the waiter seemed overwhelmed, and everything was very chaotic. The waiters didn't know which table was supposed to get which meal, and one of the waitresses didn't even know which dish was on her plate. The food was okay, but not worth the price! A large salad definitely won't fill you up. They also forgot the bread for the salad and the cheese for the Bolognese. We were just glad when we had our food. The whole situation also prevented us from enjoying the ambiance. Many guests were annoyed, as they felt the same way, and in some cases, they even waited longer. So, unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it!

The reception and ordering process went quite smoothly. After the food arrived, we were more or less ignored, and our empty glasses and plates were ignored as we walked by. When we asked if we could take the rest of the food with us, we were politely assured, but even after a 25-minute wait, they didn't appear. It's a shame to be fobbed off like that.

Actually a nice restaurant. Unfortunately, it was far too crowded. Fewer tables would have been more beneficial indoors. As a result, the few waiters seemed overwhelmed. The staff member who served us was unfortunately not very friendly and seemed irritated. The food, pizza and tagliatelle with mushroom cream and fillet tips, were excellent. The soufflé was unfortunately a ready-made product. Combined with cheap vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce, however, it wasn't exactly a hit. Top location.

TL;DR: Wait times were too long. The food was average, but too expensive. We were there as a group and had a wide variety from the menu. The food tasted average at best. One of the dishes arrived barely lukewarm. The portion sizes were okay. However, it was disappointing that the fajitas only came with one wrap, leaving you to eat the rest without. The salmon with the chanterelle sauce was overcooked and therefore too dry. The sauce was quite tasty, though. The pizzas were okay. The biggest problem was the wait time, both for ordering and for the food to arrive. Yes, it's peak season, and the place was packed, but unfortunately, the problem was the disorganized service staff and the understaffed, or rather, too small, kitchen. The kitchen had to stop taking new orders in the meantime to clear the backlog. Conclusion: I found the price excessive for the quality of the food. Add to that the aforementioned waiting times. Overall, I can't recommend the restaurant.

I've eaten there twice in the last few days. Excellent service, especially Saad, who does a first-class job and has the entire place under control. The food was also very good. From ordering to the arrival of the drinks and food... everything was perfect. There's nothing to complain about. I highly recommend it.

The menu states that women get a 30% discount on cocktails. The full amount was added to the bill. The waiter wasn't able to refund it. The pizza also had a lot of dough and few toppings. Both could be better!

We were there for dinner and were more than disappointed. When you see guests coming with a baby, you should at least point out that the meal will take a long time, because even babies get hungry again at some point and get restless. We sat outside; some of the high tables are quite wobbly, and you have to be careful about leaning on them for a moment (you might end up with drinks falling on you). The view of the Baltic Sea is great, though—that's about the ambiance. We waited an hour for our food, which was unfortunately very disappointing. The baked pork steak was tough and only lukewarm, and the pike-perch was also miles away from being "good." The prices are too high for that, and when we asked if we could do something about the price, because we were already really disappointed, we were fobbed off with, "Everyone's waiting so long." Just because everyone is in the same situation doesn't mean it's good! To top it all off, we were offered a schnapps as compensation – to a family with a baby. So we can't recommend Da Camillo; it's better to save your money, grab a fish sandwich, and eat it comfortably on the pier.

The restaurant thrives on its view of the pier and its seaside location. The food was okay. The service was...meh.

Ordered Coke Zero, got Coke. This can be bad for diabetics. Coke Zero was out of stock and was kept secret. Great location, everything else was okay.

I wouldn't eat here again. The food is simply too bad for what you pay. We had schnitzel and fries for the kid... Oh God, just ridiculous for the money. Spaghetti Carbonara... It would be good to just understand the recipe there too... there's no cream in it!

There was nothing to complain about in terms of taste. The steak was cooked medium-rare as requested, and the pepper sauce had the right amount of heat. The kids enjoyed the salami pizza and spaghetti pomodoro. Only the canelonni could have been hotter. But that's only a complaint if you're looking to find fault. Service was good; if the waiters could now smile every now and then, it would be perfect. As they always say with real estate: Location, location, location. Right on the beach with a view of the Baltic Sea and the pier, it can't be topped. Only the table layout is a bit wild for a "monk" like me, but that's just trying to find fault with the motto "find fault with something." If the team can maintain this standard, we'd only wish them well. Keep it up!

We came here with the family for dinner. The ambiance is really nice and the view very pleasant – a definite plus. The service was also friendly, if a bit inattentive. Unfortunately, the food was completely underwhelming. The grilled meat was a disappointment: the chicken breast had a rubbery texture and was barely edible, and the rest of the meat was also not good. My request for medium-rare was ignored – the meat was significantly overcooked. The margarita pizza was also unfortunately too dark and disappointing in taste. It's a shame, because the restaurant had a lot of potential with its lovely atmosphere. Unfortunately, this was our first and last visit.

Unfortunately, we have to give it one star, even though it's still too well-intentioned... Now for the facts: 1. You're seated. As a GDR citizen, you know what it's like, and this is justifiable after 9 minutes. You stand there like, "What do they want here?"... The service: "Do you have a reservation?" No. "Then please take a seat outside and enjoy a drink until we've seated you." Now the clock counts down to 25 minutes. After several eye contacts, hmmm, nothing. 2. In the said 25 minutes, 3 other groups of guests, one of 5 people (no reservation...but 2 women with breasts...) suddenly, "Please take a seat here!" It can happen, the service! After all, they're only men (Southern mentality). Okay 3. A group of three people, look, a pretty, approximately 20-year-old with her 'parents', ah, men:-: the problem is the service. 4. Now the service is the last straw. Another look... a new group and what... of course, women, whoosh, seated! Is that a coincidence, three times...? No way, that has something to do with the southern mentality. 5. I almost forgot, at the same time, a group of two women and two men came along and were there something to sip? NO, no way, these four also did dry swimming, at least as far as their throats were concerned, because there was no service for these four. Well, we don't want to complain, it was raining outside and we had space under an umbrella. Potency: No one would want to have problems with the service of the three nice bearded gentlemen. They certainly don't have it easy either. Our recommendation: Da Camillo should throw his steaks onto the pier, as this restaurant and its service at least love the dogs, and their fish dishes for the seagulls, so they'll be full. There was one good thing, though: the show at the tables, mostly occupied by women, was really good to watch, like in a circus called "Manege frei" (The Manege Free). In any case, you can save yourself the trip to eat. Or if you're hungry and want to see a nice show like in a circus for potency problems, then you've come to the right place. Conclusion: Go to the restaurants with roots "from the region for the region." Enjoy your meal if there's anything available.

A beautiful restaurant, delicious food, and actually very friendly service. But they constantly forgot about us. From ordering drinks to clearing the table and asking if we wanted anything else! It's a real shame. They were lucky that we had so much to talk about and were distracted. But this is unacceptable. Please improve this!

I've never seen such a careless children's portion. Children's schnitzel: burnt schnitzel on fries in a deep plate with nothing on it. No decorations, no side dishes, no ketchup, or mayo. Nothing. And we waited forever, even though it wasn't busy.

Very nice ambiance. But The menu offered a crepe with a scoop of ice cream and a cappuccino. We wanted a single crepe without ice cream and a cappuccino. Unfortunately, our request was declined. So we couldn't spend any money there and found what we were looking for next door. A big thank you to the ice cream parlor next door 🤝

The lasagna was burnt and very little for the price. The fries were soggy, the steak was overcooked on one side and somehow overseasoned for my taste. We waited a very long time for the food. When we asked, we were told we had an appetizer.

Terrible! Not recommended! After several attempts, my wife and I finally managed to place our order after 20 minutes. Our order: 2 beers, 2 fish. One (ONE!) beer arrived after 20 minutes, the second, after several requests, after about 40 minutes. The food was nowhere to be seen after 90 minutes, despite repeated requests. Never again!!!

Great atmosphere, right on the beach with a view of the sea. The food (pizza) was delicious and a decent size. The drinks (Pepsi) were unfortunately dead, but okay. The servers were very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, we had to wait almost 60 minutes for three pizzas we ate there.

Da Camillo is located right on the pier in Koserow. The food is good and plentiful. The service was a bit overwhelmed but pleasant nonetheless. I highly recommend it.

I went to "Da Camillo" for the first time today. The ambiance is nice, but the waiters and especially the bartender were reserved and unfriendly. We only had a drink there, a Crodino Spritz. This drink shouldn't even be on the menu because Crodino mixed with water simply tastes like nothing. Especially when you pay €7.50 for it. Crodino is best served ice-cold and garnished with an orange slice. Nothing more!!! No extra water, and no orange juice on top. The mix is just a rip-off. Crodino, in its original form, is already a non-alcoholic drink mixed with water. If they serve it as a Spritz, it tastes totally watered down. When I asked for a top-up with some Crodino, I was simply ignored. Thanks for nothing! So – a rip-off and bad service! Crodino Ingredients: A blend of water, sugar, herbs and spices, carbon dioxide, acidifier, salt, and coloring. Delicious on its own! Boring with water. 😒

A super delicious restaurant with extremely competent and friendly staff! The food was so good, we even went there twice! The prices are also perfectly reasonable.

Friendly service, good food. However, it's absolutely incomprehensible how a musician can spout right-wing extremist slogans in an Italian restaurant and continue playing even after several guests complained. When we pointed out that it was simply too loud to have a conversation, the music turned up the volume again. Inciting hatred against vegans and promoting the AfD in a restaurant is simply inappropriate and shameful. To top it all off, they said, "One last song, and then only right-wing rock plays from the speakers." Just a bad joke and provocation? All well and good, you can't get over it. But when guests are threatened and informed outside, the fun is over. Recommendation to the owner: keep your eyes open when choosing live musicians, and if necessary, the gig must be canceled, otherwise you'll just have to watch the place get emptier and emptier in no time (which, incidentally, was the case).

We went there for dinner. It was very crowded, but we still managed to get a table. The food was very good, and our additional requests were no problem. The chicken curry was an incredibly large portion 👍 Unfortunately, the chicken wasn't cooked all the way through at the thickest part... The green peppercorn sauce was fantastic. Overall, we were very impressed. The view of the sea was amazing, and the music there was super chilled.

There are no stars, the staff seem overwhelmed, the steak was just sad, for a "steakhouse" it was too dry and served cold, the salad was anything but fresh, unfortunately you can't give negative stars, for the price you can expect better.

Something's going wrong here right now. Thumbs down compared to last year. Two identical dishes, different sizes. Pasta dishes rather blandly seasoned. We found him rude and abrupt. The restaurant was only averagely staffed, so it couldn't have been due to stress. The second waiter couldn't correct his boss's mistakes. When asked directly, he answered "boss," perhaps a bit wearily. We were very satisfied there several times last year in June and September; I'm hoping it was just a bad day. My wife and I had the best entrecôte of 2025 here yesterday. We give it 10 out of 10. It was accompanied by delicious grilled vegetables and, finally, some hot food on Usedom. Great drinks, very good service, and a beautiful view of the Baltic Sea. Thank you for the wonderful time with you.

The waiters are very friendly but unfortunately the garlic bread doesn't taste of garlic, the spaghetti carbonara tastes like a 5-minute terrine and other dishes also had a questionable taste.

We ate there last Friday. The view from the outside is very nice. My husband and I also enjoyed our meal. The children's dish, penne pomodoro, is unfortunately not recommended. The tomato sauce is unfortunately too bitter for children due to the spices. We also waited almost an hour for our food, which is simply too long. Our request to see if the children's food could be brought was noted by the waiter, but immediately forgotten. During this very long wait, we weren't even asked if we'd like anything else to drink. The service was a real flop. Other restaurants are also busy, but I've never had to wait so long for my food.

We give it 5 stars. Everything was perfect. We were here for dinner on a sunny day in May. Wonderfully located behind the dune/beach with a view of the pier and the Baltic Sea. The restaurant was quite full around 7 p.m., including the outdoor seating. So that's a good sign that the food here is delicious. Very friendly and fast service. A varied menu with something for everyone. We enjoyed the Argentinian beef pan. Lovingly served in a single serving. For starters, we had brushetta, also delicious and beautifully presented. The prices are a bit high, but you're paying for the ambiance and the wonderful Baltic Sea view. Highly recommended nonetheless. An extra point for the evening opening hours until 10 p.m. Which is unfortunately a rarity on the island. Most restaurants close at 8 p.m. Absolutely unacceptable. 🤨 We definitely recommend it and will definitely come back. Weather so-so.👍

We ate there twice within a week. The first time we were thrilled: the food was delicious, the atmosphere was great, the staff friendly, and the music was good. The second time (a bridge day) was a complete disaster. We had to wait over an hour for our food. We sat outside, the table was uncovered, the food (salmon, spinach, and croquettes) was cold, and the spinach was burnt. Everything was presented very carelessly. When we asked how it tasted and explained to the waiter what we didn't like, the waiter didn't respond at all. It's a shame that it's just a mass-processing experience as soon as it gets busier. We go to Koserow every year, but we'll be going back to our regulars, so the price/performance ratio is out of proportion.

We spontaneously stopped here for lunch today. While on vacation, we were driving through the villages and found this lovely restaurant right by the pier. The sirloin steak was very good, highly recommended. The service was super friendly, and the price/performance ratio was absolutely top-notch.

We were there for the first time yesterday. We were extremely satisfied. The pizza was great, I love the base; I've never eaten anything so delicious. The staff were friendly and we didn't have to wait long, even though it was very busy. Not a criticism, just a tip. But your knives could use sharpening; it was quite tiring cutting them. We'll be back.

Not for people with mobility difficulties. The entrance is not wheelchair accessible, and after eating, I found a €55 fine in the disabled parking lot. The restaurant didn't seem to care about this issue when I asked about it. It can't have been the tip; it's probably just ignorance. We regularly have better experiences at the 3 Kaiserbäder.

Nice location by the sea. Unfortunately, that was all I can mention positively. We sat for almost an hour without ordering food because the waiter apparently forgot about us. (We tried several times to draw attention to us) Furthermore, it is very cold in the restaurant because the sliding doors always remain ajar.

We were there two days ago and were unfortunately disappointed. First of all, it was really cold in the store. Almost all guests still had their jackets on. As a result, the food got cold quickly. The pizzas were good, but the prices were unjustified. For a tuna pizza with onions just under 16/17€ and 17€ for 3 large colas (0.4 L!!) is quite steep. In total we waited an hour for our food. We won't be coming back.

So I can only say good things about the restaurant. Very child-friendly and also responds to requests. The food is excellent and, above all, freshly prepared. We ate there once for lunch and once in the evening with desserts. The portions are very good and plentiful.

The restaurant has a beautiful view of the sea. However, it's not comfortable inside. Cleanliness is not given. In addition, the interior was not heated. The steak was good, but the chef didn't get it medium rare, as was actually ordered. Price/performance is not right in any way.

We also spontaneously received a place for 3 people in the evening. Suitable for wheelchair users and easy to reach. The staff was very friendly, we really enjoyed the food and it was a pleasant experience in itself.

Uncomfortable, dingy and very cold in winter. I have never experienced such an unkempt restaurant. Waiters listless and the pizza was just average. Cleaning up in and around the restaurant would be necessary.

Da Camillo, Koserow: Location: This is where the restaurant scores points, right near the beach and pier, fabulous view of the bridge and the sea. Ambience: Nothing upscale, no special features, just a restaurant. A little bit maritime, a little bit surfer style, a little bit of everything, overall you can't pinpoint one style. Service: friendly, unobtrusive. But if you think of Italian service staff when you hear the name of the restaurant, you will probably be disappointed. None of the all-male staff on the day we were there were of Italian descent or spoke Italian. Food: well, I also get what was offered as cannelloni from the freezer at the discount store. Spaghetti with cheese and cream sauce isn't much different either. Simply what you mean by convenience, possibly from the very cheap one. But of course there are excursionist/tourist prices, including for drinks. Conclusion: easy, return: not likely.

Unfortunately, apart from the great location and the great ambience, I can't recommend the restaurant! The owner cannot tolerate criticism and has bad reviews deleted via Google because of alleged defamation! That's why I'll leave my review here again: Everything tasted a bit bland. OK, it's a matter of taste. But the service doesn't work at all. We ordered spaghetti without sauce for the kids, but got spaghetti Bolognese. No problem, it happens. Since our kids hadn't eaten any Bolognese, we ordered new spaghetti. We got it too, but it seemed like the sauce was just washed off the spaghetti with a lot of water. They tasted totally watered down. We really don't have any demands like high society, we are simple people from the country. But something like that doesn't work! Last but not least, spaghetti with Bolognese was of course included on the bill...

We were there at coffee time. My husband and I had coffee and cake and the children had hot chocolate and ice cream. The food was okay so far, but nothing special and there was still room for improvement when it came to serving. There were no napkins at all. What we immediately noticed when we entered the restaurant was that it looked dingy. There were crumbs or dirt from the previous person on almost all tables. When I notice something like that, I watch it too. The waiter cleared tables after the customers left - but the table wasn't wiped down. Just disgusting. What's nice is that there is a large oven that was heated. It was warm in the dining room, which was also due to the radiant heaters hanging up. However, if you have to go to the toilet, you should put on a jacket - it's bitterly cold here because it's not heated at all. My little son said: "Mom, it was so cold in the toilet that my pee was steaming." The waiter was very friendly, that was fine. Unfortunately, I personally cannot recommend a visit and will not visit this restaurant again. Cleanliness is the be-all and end-all in the catering industry. I'd rather not imagine what it looks like in the kitchen.

We stayed at Da Camillo several times during our vacation and loved it. Both for coffee and for dinner. Great pizza and a great steak with Gorgonzola sauce. Clear recommendation! What is outstanding is the friendly service, which even lent us an umbrella at the end. Thank you :)

We were there at lunchtime and still had plenty of places to choose from. At first we sat a little away from the oven, but then we quickly moved directly in front of the oven. Because it was so cold in there, all the other guests still had their jackets on. Yes, it's just a kind of winter garden, but it can still be warm. We had different opinions about our food and drinks. My mulled wine was nice and warm, whereas a latte macchiato was rather lukewarm. My grill plate was very tasty. Things looked different again with the zander fillet... It didn't taste good and wasn't particularly warm and it could have used a (dill) sauce. The plates were also carelessly prepared. The service was friendly and quickly accommodated our requests. Conclusion: I won't eat there again in the winter, maybe you'll get another chance in the summer...

The food was tasty and well priced. The restaurant is definitely great in summer as it is located right on the pier in Koserow. Now in winter you should dress warmly. In addition to pizza and pasta dishes, you can also get steaks here. A reservation is recommended.
