We visited off-season, hadn't made a reservation, and although the restaurant was busy, we were seated immediately. The service was okay, but there were quite long waits. The ambiance seemed rather haphazardly put together – there wasn't a cohesive concept. The food, in our case the Argentinian and Mexican stir-fry, was incredibly delicious and flavorful! All in all, we can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.

It was cold and drafty. The pizzas had plenty of toppings, but the crust was still raw inside. The waiter was friendly, but seemed drunk. For the price, I expect more.

I had a fish soup that didn't deserve the name. There was hardly any fish, but lots of octopus pieces with the consistency of rubber. The waiter seemed unmotivated. Since it was cold outside, the seating felt like sitting in a glass-enclosed vestibule. The view of the Baltic Sea and the pier was nice, though. But the restaurant had no access to it.

We ate dinner at this restaurant twice during our short break and were very satisfied both times. The service was very friendly and attentive, the food was delicious and offered good value for money.

Where are the Italians? Why would a Georgian or Syrian open an Italian restaurant? Ah, yes, because everyone loves Italian food. The Camillo plate for €20 (should be renamed the Arabic pan). Vegetables and fruit with beef. It tastes like rubber, all mixed together, so authentically Italian. Then you only get a preliminary bill, or they prefer cash. I think I know why.

We took a weekend trip and had dinner there. The food was plentiful and delicious. It's located right on the beach near the Koserow pier, which is illuminated at night. It was very romantic. The only downside was the background music.

We went back again and had pasta and pizza. The service was good and the staff excellent; I highly recommend it.

We spontaneously stopped by for dinner together. Contrary to the recent rather poor reviews, we enjoyed our time here. It was clean, the servers were all very friendly, there was pleasant music, and the pizza was absolutely delicious. A special pizza request was no problem either. The drinks were also great. The prices were reasonable for the region.

Five of us went there and had three pizzas – they were great. One mulled wine had a fly on the orange slice. I had pasta with fillet tips and first discovered a hair in it, and then, to top it off, a piece of steel mesh. There was no real apology or compensation. The ice cream in the freezer had completely melted. Paid in cash and no bill. Ambience

After a cold evening stroll, we wanted to sit by the fireplace in the really nice conservatory and have a cocktail. It was a quarter past nine, so there were still 45 minutes until closing. Unfortunately, we weren't served. No one spoke to us. We waited 15 minutes and then left. After a quick look at the menu, we were really put off by the €13.90 cocktail.

Very poor service. In peak season, you get the impression they're completely overwhelmed. Food orders get mixed up, and there's little insight. The pizza was topped with ingredients we didn't order, making it inedible. Don't be fooled by the many positive reviews. They'll have all the negative reviews removed unless you object.

The food was incredibly delicious, but the service was absolutely terrible. We got our own menus, lit the candles ourselves, and cleaned the table. We were there that evening with 10 other guests. It's a shame we just didn't feel welcome.

The food was okay, but the service was really bad. Our table wasn't clean, we took the menus from another table, and unfortunately, they forgot to ask if we wanted anything else to drink. The waiter seemed annoyed or stressed, even though there were only three tables occupied.

We went there twice during our short vacation. We went for lunch on the first day and, because we enjoyed it so much, again on the last evening. Sitting outside wasn't possible in this weather, but the conservatory is also very cozy. The food arrived relatively quickly and was very tasty.

We are very disappointed. Loud music at the ice cream stand at Da Camillo, with far too much bass, booms across the entire pier forecourt. Even when ordering, the sales staff have to ask repeatedly because they can't understand the customers. Very inconsiderate and completely inappropriate. Practically like a techno party, only suitable for a young crowd. A real shame.

The food was great. But is the "live music" live when the singer is constantly playing on his iPad?

Loud, pounding music is playing at the waffle stand, filling the entire area. The people at Da Camillo obviously lack the common sense to realize that this place isn't just for young people. If that's not enough, then everything else is probably geared toward young people, too. Therefore, not recommended for anyone over 20‼️

Unfortunately, 2 out of 5 meals weren't worth a star at all. A sharp piece of plastic was discovered in a pizza while chewing. They were given a new pizza, but my appetite vanished. The pizzas were wobbly. The pasta and beef were good. The service staff seemed unmotivated and bored. They weren't particularly friendly either. But at least the view of the Baltic Sea was nice.

4 out of 5 stars - A lovely end to our Usedom vacation at "Da Camillo" with one BUT... Perfect location with a view of the pier and friendly service. Unfortunately, there was a major mistake with the grilled dishes: The steaks (beef and lamb) were served twice cooked well – instead of medium – despite complaints and a long wait. The chef personally apologized and removed the dishes from the bill. THANK YOU! We'll be back, but only for the pizza – they're obviously great at that here 🍕.

Highly recommended! Great food, first-class service, and the view is simply fantastic! Sunset included. The cocktails are delicious and, especially Monday to Friday until 7 p.m., really affordable. The service was fun, the pizza we wanted to share came on two plates, and every dish was delicious. 😋👍🏼

I stopped in spontaneously, a bit skeptical due to the extensive menu. But I have to say: the ambiance was very cozy, the atmosphere and service pleasant, and the food truly delicious, plentiful, and very reasonably priced. The only downside was that it was quite drafty and chilly. So, you'll need a thick sweater.

Amazing...we ended our best day so far at "Da Camillo." We weren't disappointed. The atmosphere (around 6:30 PM --> it's getting dark, it's starting to get stormy, the bridge is lit up, Italian music is playing, the guys are in a good mood) was truly fantastic. The food was a real treat (mushrooms, bruschetta, Parmigiano, good oil, pizza made with love). The price/performance ratio was more than acceptable. That's how it should be. Thank you for that. 👍💪🫵

We waited a long time for the food; the waiter's German was poor, and a few things went wrong. However, the food was very tasty and the portions were generous.

Pizzeria right on the Koserow pier. You can sit inside or outside. The food was delicious. Two employees were nice, but one was rather arrogant.

At least they still had food at 7:30, when others had already closed. I had the cannelloni, which were really delicious. The staff was nice and friendly. It was a bit chilly inside since the doors were open and it's already a bit cooler in the evening. But otherwise, everything was fine. Card payments are accepted, but tips in cash are appreciated.

€2 a scoop of ice cream...OK...Koserow, right on the pier. Then came the giant scoops...one would have been enough for me 😂 and super delicious 👍

Good restaurant with a great location and a fantastic view. Three of us were here a few weeks ago and got a table without any problems. Only the tables by the window were reserved. The staff was very accommodating and accommodated special requests. The food was all delicious and plentiful.

It's really great—very cozy and clean. The food is fresh and delicious. The staff is friendly, and the service is excellent. I recommend everyone to come here and enjoy the delicious dishes.

We had pizza, which was really delicious. The dressing on the side salad was very vinegary. The food took a long time to arrive because they were busy. It's not appropriate to charge an extra 50 cents for the mayo in a restaurant.

The meal, a grilled patty for two, was a highlight: very well seasoned, tender meat, simply superb. Kudos to the chef. The drinks, however, are very expensive. We highly recommend Da Camillo.

This Italian restaurant is highly recommended. You can sit inside or outside. Outside, a glass front protects you from the north wind. We had the spaghetti and lasagna, and both were excellent.

Although the restaurant was relatively quiet during our visit, we had to wait a while for service and felt a bit rushed off. However, the food was great, and there's a sea view.

The food was very good, but the wait of just over an hour somewhat spoiled our evening. The service could be a bit better organized, but the rest of the food was very good.

We went out to eat spontaneously this evening. I had expected more based on the ambiance. The wait was very long, the waiter seemed overwhelmed, and everything was very chaotic. The waiters didn't know which table was supposed to get which meal, and one of the waitresses didn't even know which dish was on her plate. The food was okay, but not worth the price! A large salad definitely won't fill you up. They also forgot the bread for the salad and the cheese for the Bolognese. We were just glad when we had our food. The whole situation also prevented us from enjoying the ambiance. Many guests were annoyed, as they felt the same way, and in some cases, they even waited longer. So, unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it!

The reception and ordering process went quite smoothly. After the food arrived, we were more or less ignored, and our empty glasses and plates were ignored as we walked by. When we asked if we could take the rest of the food with us, we were politely assured, but even after a 25-minute wait, they didn't appear. It's a shame to be fobbed off like that.

TL;DR: Wait times were too long. The food was average, but too expensive. We were there as a group and had a wide variety from the menu. The food tasted average at best. One of the dishes arrived barely lukewarm. The portion sizes were okay. However, it was disappointing that the fajitas only came with one wrap, leaving you to eat the rest without. The salmon with the chanterelle sauce was overcooked and therefore too dry. The sauce was quite tasty, though. The pizzas were okay. The biggest problem was the wait time, both for ordering and for the food to arrive. Yes, it's peak season, and the place was packed, but unfortunately, the problem was the disorganized service staff and the understaffed, or rather, too small, kitchen. The kitchen had to stop taking new orders in the meantime to clear the backlog. Conclusion: I found the price excessive for the quality of the food. Add to that the aforementioned waiting times. Overall, I can't recommend the restaurant.

I've eaten there twice in the last few days. Excellent service, especially Saad, who does a first-class job and has the entire place under control. The food was also very good. From ordering to the arrival of the drinks and food... everything was perfect. There's nothing to complain about. I highly recommend it.

Actually a nice restaurant. Unfortunately, it was far too crowded. Fewer tables would have been more beneficial indoors. As a result, the few waiters seemed overwhelmed. The staff member who served us was unfortunately not very friendly and seemed irritated. The food, pizza and tagliatelle with mushroom cream and fillet tips, were excellent. The soufflé was unfortunately a ready-made product. Combined with cheap vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce, however, it wasn't exactly a hit. Top location.

The menu states that women get a 30% discount on cocktails. The full amount was added to the bill. The waiter wasn't able to refund it. The pizza also had a lot of dough and few toppings. Both could be better!

We were there for dinner and were more than disappointed. When you see guests coming with a baby, you should at least point out that the meal will take a long time, because even babies get hungry again at some point and get restless. We sat outside; some of the high tables are quite wobbly, and you have to be careful about leaning on them for a moment (you might end up with drinks falling on you). The view of the Baltic Sea is great, though—that's about the ambiance. We waited an hour for our food, which was unfortunately very disappointing. The baked pork steak was tough and only lukewarm, and the pike-perch was also miles away from being "good." The prices are too high for that, and when we asked if we could do something about the price, because we were already really disappointed, we were fobbed off with, "Everyone's waiting so long." Just because everyone is in the same situation doesn't mean it's good! To top it all off, we were offered a schnapps as compensation – to a family with a baby. So we can't recommend Da Camillo; it's better to save your money, grab a fish sandwich, and eat it comfortably on the pier.

Ordered Coke Zero, got Coke. This can be bad for diabetics. Coke Zero was out of stock and was kept secret. Great location, everything else was okay.

I wouldn't eat here again. The food is simply too bad for what you pay. We had schnitzel and fries for the kid... Oh God, just ridiculous for the money. Spaghetti Carbonara... It would be good to just understand the recipe there too... there's no cream in it!

There was nothing to complain about in terms of taste. The steak was cooked medium-rare as requested, and the pepper sauce had the right amount of heat. The kids enjoyed the salami pizza and spaghetti pomodoro. Only the canelonni could have been hotter. But that's only a complaint if you're looking to find fault. Service was good; if the waiters could now smile every now and then, it would be perfect. As they always say with real estate: Location, location, location. Right on the beach with a view of the Baltic Sea and the pier, it can't be topped. Only the table layout is a bit wild for a "monk" like me, but that's just trying to find fault with the motto "find fault with something." If the team can maintain this standard, we'd only wish them well. Keep it up!

We came here with the family for dinner. The ambiance is really nice and the view very pleasant – a definite plus. The service was also friendly, if a bit inattentive. Unfortunately, the food was completely underwhelming. The grilled meat was a disappointment: the chicken breast had a rubbery texture and was barely edible, and the rest of the meat was also not good. My request for medium-rare was ignored – the meat was significantly overcooked. The margarita pizza was also unfortunately too dark and disappointing in taste. It's a shame, because the restaurant had a lot of potential with its lovely atmosphere. Unfortunately, this was our first and last visit.

The steaks (entrecote, rump steak) were very good, but the dressing for the Mexican salad was a bit watery. Overall, though, I definitely recommend it; I got a good seat without a reservation.

Unfortunately, we have to give it one star, even though it's still too well-intentioned... Now for the facts: 1. You're seated. As a GDR citizen, you know what it's like, and this is justifiable after 9 minutes. You stand there like, "What do they want here?"... The service: "Do you have a reservation?" No. "Then please take a seat outside and enjoy a drink until we've seated you." Now the clock counts down to 25 minutes. After several eye contacts, hmmm, nothing. 2. In the said 25 minutes, 3 other groups of guests, one of 5 people (no reservation...but 2 women with breasts...) suddenly, "Please take a seat here!" It can happen, the service! After all, they're only men (Southern mentality). Okay 3. A group of three people, look, a pretty, approximately 20-year-old with her 'parents', ah, men:-: the problem is the service. 4. Now the service is the last straw. Another look... a new group and what... of course, women, whoosh, seated! Is that a coincidence, three times...? No way, that has something to do with the southern mentality. 5. I almost forgot, at the same time, a group of two women and two men came along and were there something to sip? NO, no way, these four also did dry swimming, at least as far as their throats were concerned, because there was no service for these four. Well, we don't want to complain, it was raining outside and we had space under an umbrella. Potency: No one would want to have problems with the service of the three nice bearded gentlemen. They certainly don't have it easy either. Our recommendation: Da Camillo should throw his steaks onto the pier, as this restaurant and its service at least love the dogs, and their fish dishes for the seagulls, so they'll be full. There was one good thing, though: the show at the tables, mostly occupied by women, was really good to watch, like in a circus called "Manege frei" (The Manege Free). In any case, you can save yourself the trip to eat. Or if you're hungry and want to see a nice show like in a circus for potency problems, then you've come to the right place. Conclusion: Go to the restaurants with roots "from the region for the region." Enjoy your meal if there's anything available.

Very nice ambiance. But The menu offered a crepe with a scoop of ice cream and a cappuccino. We wanted a single crepe without ice cream and a cappuccino. Unfortunately, our request was declined. So we couldn't spend any money there and found what we were looking for next door. A big thank you to the ice cream parlor next door 🤝

A beautiful restaurant, delicious food, and actually very friendly service. But they constantly forgot about us. From ordering drinks to clearing the table and asking if we wanted anything else! It's a real shame. They were lucky that we had so much to talk about and were distracted. But this is unacceptable. Please improve this!

I've never seen such a careless children's portion. Children's schnitzel: burnt schnitzel on fries in a deep plate with nothing on it. No decorations, no side dishes, no ketchup, or mayo. Nothing. And we waited forever, even though it wasn't busy.

The lasagna was burnt and very little for the price. The fries were soggy, the steak was overcooked on one side and somehow overseasoned for my taste. We waited a very long time for the food. When we asked, we were told we had an appetizer.

Terrible! Not recommended! After several attempts, my wife and I finally managed to place our order after 20 minutes. Our order: 2 beers, 2 fish. One (ONE!) beer arrived after 20 minutes, the second, after several requests, after about 40 minutes. The food was nowhere to be seen after 90 minutes, despite repeated requests. Never again!!!

Great atmosphere, right on the beach with a view of the sea. The food (pizza) was delicious and a decent size. The drinks (Pepsi) were unfortunately dead, but okay. The servers were very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, we had to wait almost 60 minutes for three pizzas we ate there.
