Very nice service. Very good food. Definitely make a reservation. The food was really nice and hot! The pork cheeks and the cod were great. Dessert: Creme Brullee can still be improved. No berries on it so that the spoon test works. So we'd love to come back

Superb food, laid-back&friendly atmosphere, beautiful terrace, resident dog. I'll probably never eat a schnitzel this good again — a bittersweet moment to savour. Zweibelrostbraten was excellent, too. I'll let no one ever speak badly of German cuisine again.

True to the motto 'The best last', we had dinner here on the last evening of our holiday. But first things first: We noticed on the first day of our exploration tour that this restaurant was a very special one. As we walked past, we recognized what delicious and well-prepared food the guests (who were eating outside) had on their plates. My wife's trained eye proved right. After studying the menu thoroughly, our choice was the rump steak a la Strindberg, and we were not disappointed. The steak was cooked medium rare, exactly as we ordered. The side dishes were fresh and also very professionally prepared. Everything was right and the ambience was also harmonious. It was a very harmonious and delicious last evening. Many thanks to the attentive service team. And best wishes to the sweet guard dog, who patiently let every guest cuddle and pet him. We'd love to come back when we're in the area. Super great food and service very attentive!

What can you say?! The food is excellent, the service leaves nothing to be desired. The room invites you to linger. I was lucky enough to be able to look behind the scenes, everything was clean and freshly cooked. Why people here make comparisons with the “restaurant with the two yellow arches” and write that the sauces are not homemade is and remains incomprehensible to me! My favorite was the onion roast, but sea bass, beef cheeks and cheese spaetzle are also a delight! Here the boss himself is still standing in the restaurant! Highly recommended!

We had our New Year's Eve dinner here. The service was absolutely professional and friendly. We had a cute spot at the front of the window with our dog - perfect! The food was A1 from starter to dessert. Everything was absolutely perfect. The onion roast was brilliant. Our elderberry spritzer was also very tasty. It's great that the chef/owner comes out to the tables sometimes. This restaurant is run with a lot of love and the couple who own it are authentic and very customer friendly. The prices are not unreasonable - but they are absolutely fine for the quality of the food. We'll stop by again...all the best to the owners for 2024!!! LG Walter Schrom

Very fine cuisine and warm service. We were very satisfied!

Unfortunately disappointing. Ready sauce and salad dressing. A pity. It's just not enough to rest on old, faded awards and dubious television shows. You might be able to impress a few TV couch potatoes on an excursion. It would be better not to make yourself too comfortable. A decent salad dressing is not rocket science; you can also get a ready-made balsamic sauce at the restaurant with the two yellow bows. That would be rather embarrassing for me as a chef. Especially if you work in a region where one of the most famous salad dressings comes from. Unfortunately, the pork medallions were also rather unimaginative, the gravy from the package and the cheese spaetzle were fatty, mushy and, in terms of taste, rather low in the lower third of the scale. Conclusion: missed opportunities, faded laurels, very disappointing.

Das Essen war sehr lecker aber wir mussten sehr lange auf das Essen warten. Service sehr nett. Ambiente finde ich jetzt nicht so schön aber das ist Geschmackssache. Die Preise sind sehr gehoben.

Mit einer kleinen Gruppe, die Weine genossen. Wir konnten uns gerade noch ein Platz ergattern, da schon viel los war. Die Weine sind ausgezeichnet und man hätten mehr trinken können. Das Ambiente ist rustikal, passt aber sehr schön zu dieser Weinstube. Gerne wieder.

Hier kann man nur 5 Sterne geben. Weil hier wirklich alles stimmt. Wir waren in unserem Urlaub (1 Woche am Bodensee) gleich zweimal hier essen, und das obwohl die Auswahl an guten und sehr guten Lokalen hier wirklich groß ist. Ich hatte bei unserem ersten Besuch die leckere Fischsuppe vorab und mein Gatte einen kleinen Salat. Somit waren wir sehr froh uns das Strindberg Steak teilen zu können. Alles vom feinsten… Beim zweiten Besuch haben wir uns die Vorspeise, ein mega leckeres Vitello Tonnato, geteilt. Selbst dabei haben wir es geschafft unsere Hauptgerichte gänzlich zu verspeisen. Und das lag nicht an der Qualität der Speisen, sondern weil einfach nichts mehr rein passte. Sollten wir mal wieder in der Gegend sein, wird dieses Lokal unsere erste Wahl sein.

Auch wenn es dieses Jahr keine Felchen gibt - tolle Küche. Sehr gerne gegessen das Thunfischcarpaccio ... einfach wunderbar leicht und mit dezenter Zitrusnote. Sonderwünsche gibt es auch, z.B. Kartoffelpüree für unseren kleinen Spatz 😁

Wir waren am Samstagmittag spontan dort eingekehrt und haben vorzüglich gegessen. Das Thunfischcarpaccio, wie auch der Zander mit Kartoffelsalat waren hervorragend. Abgerundet mit einem vorzüglichen Sauvignon blanc aus der Region.
