Strand Pizzeria in Fehmarn

Definitely worth a visit. Prices are reasonable...and affordable for a tourist spot...

We were in the area one evening, and the pizzeria was a great place to grab a bite to eat. After looking at the menu, my initial plan was to order a spartan pasta dish. But then, looking at the menu at my table, I saw that the vegetarian pizza could also be ordered vegan. The restaurant is down-to-earth and child-friendly, which I think is great. The service was very friendly. Due to a misunderstanding, a pizza was prepared "incorrectly," but it was immediately taken away without any fuss and a new one made – great! For me, it was one of the best vegan pizzas I've ever eaten. Nice and thin and moist with a really delicious cheese substitute. I was thrilled and will definitely be back very soon. Thank you!

We had dinner with you last night. My daughter had her 8th birthday, and we reserved a table in advance. We were greeted very warmly and with congratulations. After ordering, we didn't have to wait 10 minutes for our five pizzas. We were very satisfied and full. Our birthday girl had a wonderful end to her celebration with you. Thank you so much!

We had no trouble getting a seat, even without a reservation, and were immediately greeted warmly. The pizzas were delicious, freshly prepared, and reasonably priced—exactly what you'd expect from a relaxed beach pizzeria. The staff was attentive, friendly, and always courteous. We absolutely couldn't understand the negative comments you read here and there—our impression was entirely positive. Summary: A lovely place for good pizza with a holiday feel. We'd love to come back.

In short Thank you for your warm and courteous service and welcome. We and our children felt very comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed our time with you. The food arrived super quickly and tasted simply delicious. The location was quiet, and we had a great time chatting in a wonderful atmosphere. We also noticed that you do everything you can to make a table available, even for guests without a reservation, without immediately turning them down, which is really rare. Tip for all readers: If you want such a lovely evening, just reserve a table the day before and then it's sure to work out. We also noticed that you were very careful to ensure that families with children were served more quickly, which I have to highly commend, as the little ones often have less patience than we do, and it was done superbly. We adults are usually more understanding, and they also ensure a peaceful atmosphere. So, we'll be back next season with kids straight away. 💙

Unfortunately, the pasta was soaked in grease and tasted strange. I'd rather not go into detail about how we felt afterward...

They immediately sent us away... they didn't answer our questions. We wanted to sit outside, but there was a seat available...

The food tastes cheap or like it's mass-produced (from a cafeteria or a can). • The pasta is mushy, even though you didn't specify a special request. • The Coke tastes strongly of syrup, so it's probably from a pump, not fresh. • The bruschetta is extremely greasy and appears to have been soaked in (cheap) sunflower oil.

Worst aglio e olio I've ever eaten. The pasta was swimming in a soup of oil, water, and what felt like five tablespoons of raw garlic. It was served with chunks of tomato and arugula. I can't say if other dishes taste good, but if something as simple as aglio e olio doesn't work, I won't risk anything else.

Pizza and pasta... The food is good, delicious, and the portions are more than ample. The service is pleasant and friendly. However, only 2 stars for service because the wait time was too long. After placing an order for three people, we waited an hour for our dishes (even though the dining room was only 25% full at the time). Apparently, the capacity isn't sufficient for the parallel takeout business and the restaurant business.

The pizza is delicious and we didn't have to wait long for takeaway...

We come to Ifa on Fehmarn every year. We always have to have a pizza from the Strand Pizzeria. Yesterday we had the Margherita, the salami, and the super delicious Parma pizza. The service is always very friendly and quick. We'll be back.

The vegan pizza was delicious. We ordered two vegan pizzas to go and were very happy that this is possible here! We had the vegetable pizza and the mushroom pizza to go. Thank you very much :-)

Unfortunately, our visit today was anything but satisfactory. The gluten-free pizza offered on the menu was sold out. Upon request, my partner – who has a proven gluten intolerance – was offered a pasta dish. We explicitly pointed out our intolerance and relied on the assurance that the dish would be prepared accordingly. The staff was friendly, the service prompt – that deserves recognition. However, the three pizzas at the table were very bland in taste and unfortunately unconvincing. What is absolutely unacceptable, however, is that about 1-2 hours after eating, my partner began experiencing clear symptoms of gluten intolerance: nausea, vomiting, stomach cramps – the rest of the day, evening, and night were completely ruined for her. I will deliberately refrain from further details. This shouldn't happen – especially not when you rely on an explicitly promised, tolerable alternative. This has nothing to do with diligence in the restaurant industry. Conclusion: Definitely not a second time for us.

The service was extremely friendly. The drinks came quickly, and so did the food, all at the same time. They offer children's portions, which we really appreciated. The pizzas and spaghetti Bolognese were delicious. The spaghetti is homemade.

The restaurant itself is nice, but we didn't like the food. We had pizza and pasta. The pizzas were okay, although one had been in the oven a bit too long... The cream sauce with bacon that accompanied the tortellini was very, very simple. We wouldn't recommend it.

We've been living on the island for years, always on the south beach, but we'd never tried the restaurant. On Monday, June 30th, we finally decided to eat there for dinner. The prices were quite reasonable, and the service was friendly. The starter was delicious, but it had a lot of oil on it, which continued with the other dishes. Unfortunately, my husband, my son, and I couldn't tolerate it at all, and my son couldn't even make it to the bathroom on the way there, poor thing. We're sadly cured of this restaurant and won't be going back!

Nice, fast, and lovely place. The pizza, however, isn't worthy of a pizza. Very greasy, tastes like grated industrial cheese. No mozzarella or fior di latte used.

The pizza and antipasti are delicious. You can sit comfortably and watch the hustle and bustle outside. The restrooms are clean.

The pizzas were very tasty, thin dough and crispy edges. The service was nice and friendly. The prices for the pizzas are at the upper limit at around €15. Unfortunately, the non-alcoholic drinks in particular are too expensive, 0.4l Spezi €6.10 and 0.2l Sprite €3.30. We don't like dogs in the restaurant either.

Out of 7 orders for the main course, 2 were wrong. Then two more wrong drinks. Also get warm still water. Service didn't come. Pizza so thin in the middle that you could see through it. A pizza in the oven for far too long and the edge is not edible. We never again!

Unfortunately I can only rate the head waiter, the place felt quite empty, we were informed that it would take at least 45 minutes to order and receive two pizzas to take away. It's a shame, he won't get my money anymore. He seemed annoyed and overwhelmed

Should actually give minus points, the store is not recommended. Pizza blank (the dough) is a finished product (industrial product). Service was a disaster, my pizza first came wrong, then I got a new one that was also wrong, the extra ingredient champions were missing. Which were then calculated even though I mentioned it. Oh well, when I returned the first pizza that was wrong, I was treated unkindly and even deliberately ignored by the waiter at the end. We sat for over 20 minutes and waited for the table to be cleared and to pay. During this time, neighboring tables were served, cleared, etc...

We were guests at the hotel next door and picked up food there two days in a row and really loved it. Pasta, pizza and starters were great!!! Will definitely come back!

The food itself was very good and reasonably priced. The ambience itself was nice, but for me personally it was just too loud. The restaurant is relatively large, so a reservation for more than two people would be advisable. When we were there there were "only" two waiters there. The wait for the food didn't bother me; I just found it inconvenient for the waiters themselves, as you could tell they were a bit stressed. They were always friendly. And I found the two entrances to the restaurant a bit inconvenient.

You can definitely do it ;). Cute restaurant, not loud despite many guests. Service top! So nice and super fast. We spontaneously went out for dinner in the evening. And got last place. When I asked whether the free table had been reserved, the previous person quickly removed the leftovers, even though other guests were definitely waiting for their food! Otherwise you'll end up sitting unnoticed in other restaurants for a while. Great service, the food came very quickly, payment was also very uncomplicated and quick. And everything with a genuine smile, despite being busy. The food was good. Pizza could have been bigger if I was hungry, but it was the perfect size for normal, as you didn't feel over-indulged afterwards but were pleasantly full. Tortellini in cream - bacon - sauce. Delicious, nice and hot, as it should be. Possibly you could have done without the additional salt. But totally ok! Our daughter hardly gave us anything :). Prices reasonable for the place. Definitely again ;).

We ordered 2 pizzas from there. The pizzas were really delicious. The ingredients were very fresh. The salami and ham were also really good quality. The dough was a bit thin in the middle, but the edge was still nice and loose and crossy despite cooling. If we go back to the island we will order there again.

I ate very tasty food. Pasta Gamberoso and Tiramisu were super tasty.

This evening we ordered a pizza and tagliatelle. We enjoyed it very much, the service was fine and the food came quite quickly. The prices are also completely okay in this location. We were here again on vacation in 2024, we enjoyed it just as much as the year before and the price of the pizzeria remained stable 👍🏼🙃

We were there quite late on Wednesday. The food was good so far, the speed was good and the service was still friendly, calm and focused on the guests, even though it was just before closing time. Price-performance is appropriate for the location and the portions were sufficient. The tortellini was slightly over the top but perfectly acceptable.

Just had dinner here. 2x pizza salami and 1x pasta carbonara. So we really don't want to rate anything negatively here because it simply wouldn't be appropriate. The food was really delicious and 10.90 euros for a pizza salami on Fehmarn in this location is perfectly fine in 2024. We'd love to come back.

Vegetarian pizza was very good. Well topped, great base and crispy. I'm only deducting half a star (if I could) because of the starter plate. This was also good, but not ideal. Service was a bit thin and therefore very stressful

Food very good. Had pizza and pasta, both very tasty. Service apologized because, according to them, it took too long. You probably always had technical difficulties. But everything was good. We didn't think it was so dramatic.

Die Lage ist Top, der Laden an sich auch ok. Großes Kompliment an das Service Personal. Trotz Unterbesetzung und voller Hütte war der Service Top und super freundlich. Dafür 6 Sterne!! Das Essen war leider nix, bitte etwas den Pizzateig salzen!! Ich hatte ehrlich gesagt schon einige TK Produkte die von Konsistenz und Geschmack her um Längen besser waren. We were very happy with the food and the service. The pasta was very tasty, the pizza was crispy.

We were very satisfied. Went there spontaneously with our three children. The pizza and pasta came very quickly and was delicious. Even though it wasn't on the menu, we were even offered kid-sized pizzas. They were more than enough for the kids. Prices are cheap for the long and the portions are more than sufficient. Our dogs were also allowed in. The service was very nice.

We went to the beach pizzeria for the first time this evening. We enjoyed it very much. Rarely have I had such a great pizza.

This was the second time we've been to the beach pizzeria and unfortunately our pizza wasn't cooked this time either! After we let us know, we received a round of new pizzas, except for one of them the pizzas weren't cooked through again! A pity!

Today we had dinner there and bought my pizza with salami and mushrooms for €10.90. I really liked it because it had a very Italian style. My mother had bruschetta and she also really liked it for €5.00 for the price, very tasty for that 5 /5 Stars . I also really liked the service and they were very nice, service was quick, everything was great 5/5 stars!

We'd love to come back. Better reserve in the evening. There are many activities for children and adults in the winter garden of the Ifa Hotel. Playground, billiards, PaPat, table tennis etc. 🫶🏼

We were there today (just off season) around 6:30 p.m. We ordered two pizzas and they were exactly the kind we only know from Italy. No greasy ready-made stuff with cheese substitutes, but delicious pizzas with fresh ingredients. Pizza Diabolo and Pizza Venice are super delicious. Crispy thin dough, not too much but delicious tomato sauce. Even the price is totally okay for such a tourist place. We'll definitely be back! 😊

Super Service! After my first pizza was burnt, the service responded very nicely and brought me a new one within a very short time. This tasted very good. I ordered pickup from the hotel room and the wait was 10 minutes

Rarely have I had such a bad pizza. Very carelessly prepared and the dough was limp. The caprese salad was also a disgrace. The rocket salad was partly mushy. Very carelessly prepared. The waitress was alone. She really struggled and ran back and forth.

Unfortunately we are not satisfied, which is why we gave it 2.5 stars. The prices are slightly higher, but are okay. The staff was overwhelmed even though we were there shortly before closing. No greeting, no questions... unfortunately we always had to react to everything. The food (pizza + pasta) was totally tasteless. After 10 minutes we had to borrow pepper/salt ourselves from another table upon request.

I was satisfied with our visit and the food. The food was good, the pizza was better than expected. The staff was friendly and quick. The price-performance ratio for the pizzas is good. Not a convenience pizza, as the ingredients can be customized if necessary. Best indication, fresh mushrooms on the pizzas.

Somehow it wasn't a hit. Pizza dough very tough. Cheese not mozzarella, but something bitter. Tomato sauce almost non-existent. There remains a greasy aftertaste that wants to be washed away. I think they were just having a bad day with all the positive reviews here. Unlucky.

Cozy restaurant. You should reserve a table, especially in the evening, otherwise you will most likely not get a seat. The service is friendly and attentive, but unfortunately completely understaffed. The food tastes good and the portions or pizzas are large.

Nachdem wir das Lokal betraten freuten wir uns zunächst, das wir schnell einen Platz bekamen. Jedoch dauerte die Entgegennahme der Bestellung sehr lange. Als die Getränke dann kamen viel direkt auf, das einige Gläser nicht gereinigt waren und sich Verunreinigungen am Glasrand befanden. Das Essen selbst (Pizza) war recht gut jedoch war die Pizza meiner Meinung nach zu dünn. Insgesamt ein vom Essen her gutes Restaurant, welches nach meiner Erfahrung ein bisschen unhygenisch ist. Jedoch Mit einer zwar freundlichen aber maßlos überforderten Bedienung die anscheinend das ganze Lokal alleine bedienen soll.

Nudeln mit Tomatensoße, Klassiker... jedoch kaum genießbar, weil es viel zu scharf war. Auf den Hinweis leider nur ein Lächeln der Kellnerin... am nächsten Abend Pizza to go, kann man nichts falsch machen. Kann man doch. Leider suppte sie nur vor Fett, war labberig und mein Magen hat sich danach ordentlich beschwert. Leider nicht zu empfehlen.

Wir wurden von einer sehr freundlichen Bedienung an unseren Tisch gebracht. Das Essen kam sehr schnell und war sehr lecker! Preis Leistung passt super! Werden gerne bei der nächsten Durchreise wieder vorbei schauen. Weiter so!

Super frische leckere Pizza gegessen. Fluffig weicher Teig und guter Belag. Schnelle freundliche Bedienung und wenig Wartezeit.

Die Pizza kam innerhalb von 5 Minuten und war wirklich Oberklasse. Knuspriger, dünner Boden. Frische und hochwertige Zutaten. Kann die schlechten Bewertungen überhaupt nicht nachvollziehen. Preis-Leistung kaum zu toppen! Wir werden uns hier noch ein paar Pizzen genehmigen! :-)

Leider sind wir vom letzten Besuch ziemlich enttäuscht worden. Pizzen teilweise zu lange im Ofen, nicht nur bei uns. Pizzen waren leider auch nicht vernünftig belegt. Frutti der Mare glich eher einer Margherita. Service hecktisch aber freundlich. Getränke übertrieben teuer. Schweppes Ginger Ale 0,4 für 7,00 Euro. Respekt! Hier sollte man in jedem Fall vorher einen Tisch reservieren. Ich hoffe, ihr hattet hier nur einen schlechten Tag. Sind bei euch besseres gewohnt gewesen.

Durchwachsen, Pizza gut, Pasta in Öl ertränkt. Service ok. Sehr hektisch im Laden durch viel Kommen und Gehen.

-Terminbestellung leider nicht möglich. (Wollten um 19 Uhr für 20 Uhr essen zum mitnehmen bestellen). Restaurant war gut besucht, Küche hatte voll zu tun und angeblich würde die Bestellung dann untergehen. Soweit so gut. -3 Pizzen dann kurz vor 20 Uhr bestellt, gewartet, nur leider wurde unsere Bestellung falsch rausgegeben. Also wurde unsere Bestellung nochmal in die Küche gegeben. 10 min später hatten wir dann unser Essen. - Pizzen waren sehr lieblos gemacht, Teig am Rand teilweise nicht durch und von unten verbrannt.. Fazit: Die Servicekraft war sehr bemüht. Die Küche hätte sich ein wenig mehr Mühe geben können. Preislich OK.

Das Essen sah optisch nicht gut aus aus, der Service war auch nicht grade gut, das Essen hat solide geschmeckt

Die Pizzen waren schlecht belegt uns bei einer war der Boden angebrannt.

Die Lage ist bombig. Schön nahe am Strand bekommt man auch die Speisen aus der Heimat. Sehr lecker, schön her gerichtet, auch keine zu kleine Portion. Tortellini haben mich als großen, gut essenden Mann satt bekommen, die Pizzen waren schön groß. Lediglich die Ränder etwas mau belegt. Geschmacklich gab es aber nichts zu bemängeln. Einrichten selbst ist schön gemacht, sauber, Bedienung freundlich und aufmerksam. Preise sind normal. Für die Lage, Größe der Portionen und im Gesamtbild angemessen. Empfehlen würde ich vorher immer einen Tisch zu reservieren. Das Einzige, was mich gestört hat, war der Durchzug von der anliegenden Passage. Der war unangenehm, wenn man nach einem Tag am Strand mal etwas Windruhe brauch und "nur" essen möchte. Türen schließen ging nicht, da es laut der Chefin sonst zu warm werden würde in der Küche.

Lage: schön. Pizza: OK, für 11,80€ aber nicht in besonderem Maße gut. Getränk: 2x Saftschorle 0,4l für zusammen 13,20€. Das empfinde ich schlicht als unverschämt und dann einfach nur auf die Karte zu zeigen, wo nur einfache Schorle 0,2l mit 3,30€ drinstehen, machts halt auch nicht besser. Fazit: nur essen, nicht trinken. Oder woanders hingehen (am Yachthafen gibts einen Pizzaautomaten, den wir aber nicht getestet haben...) P.S. als Antwort auf die Antwort des Inhabers: es war ein Rhaberschorle und ein Apfelschorle, also auch noch falsch berechnet, was mir vor Ort gsr nicht aufgefallen war. Plus: es gibt Restaurants, wo "groß" 0,5l ist oder wo groß weniger als 2xklein kostet...

Sehr nette Bedingung, keine 15 Minuten gewartet. Wir haben im Restaurant gegessen. Rundum zufrieden.

Wir haben eine super Pizza hier bekommen. Knusprig, dünn und von guter Qualität. Preislich vollkommen in Ordnung. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und die Stimmung angenehm.
