Once and never again. The atmosphere is terribly uncomfortable. The food is terrible and overpriced.

I ordered a garlic schnitzel for 17.90.... there were two beer-mat-sized, unseasoned schnitzels with a small pot of garlic dip and a bit of salad. The fried potatoes were lukewarm and tasteless. After I complained, I got another beer-mat of schnitzel and hot fried potatoes, but everything was tasteless, and there was no apology from the head waiter. In conclusion, the galley gets the red lantern from me, because you can't get worse food on Fehmarn....

Absolutely not. I can only agree with the many bad reviews: I had redfish in a herb coating and fried potatoes. The fried potatoes were a low-quality, ready-made product, the fish was very thin and flavorless. My wife even had stomach problems. It was supposedly good in the old days, but those days are long gone.

I ate cod with pepper sauce and hash browns, a super-thin slice of cod in egg/flour batter, tasteless, pepper sauce without pepper, and lukewarm hash browns from a convenience store. Stomach cramps, etc., at home. The chef and his assistants behind the counter gave the impression that they had already given up on cooking and the restaurant.

The cod fillet was substandard; we've never had such poorly prepared fish on a plate. The fish was completely watery and flavorless, as were the rubbery fried potatoes. Also worth mentioning is the packet mustard sauce. After we complained, we were told the chef was the same as years ago. Well, the good man must have completely forgotten his craft. Two stars for the service, since we only had to pay for the drinks in the end. We definitely won't be seeing you again.

No taste and fried too short. The plaice was breaded and dripping with fat. But not seasoned at all. Pretty tasteless. I cannot recommend this store. Paying 90 euros for the four of us with a small drink is really cheeky for this meal.

The rolls were so burnt, they were half rusks. It was cheeky to serve this, unfortunately I only noticed it when I got home, so I would have had to bring it back. If I saw it correctly, there are even the rolls from the bakery next door that are only made warm, no wonder they taste like rusks and the fish didn't taste good either, bland and strange dressing. The thing that seems to be most worthwhile here is to take the fresh fish sandwiches with you - unfortunately we weren't that enthusiastic about everything else.

Remolade war reine Mayonnaise. Außerdem war es schmutzig, die Speisekarte und Tische klebten. Für 2 Personen 50 Euro bezahlt, hätte man gleich in die Tonne kloppen können. Hab mich nur geärgert, dass wir die Bewertungen nicht vorher gelesen haben.

It's unbelievable what has become of the galley. Service was a disaster - it doesn't matter, I just wanted to eat, I thought. One child was not served the fish & chips request but had to order the food separately and was served it in a Styrofoam bowl (banned in the EU since 2021). The other dishes followed, served unkindly. I have never eaten such bad plaice fillets. It's a shame that an animal had to be sacrificed for this - mealworms would have had the same taste. Fried potatoes with ready-made seasoning and old fat - BÄHHHHH. After there wasn't a tip immediately, we had a minute's silence with the waiter. NEVER AGAIN!

Wir wollten eigentlich nur was trinken(Außenbereich), was dem Kellner mürrisch machte. Trotzdem schnell die Getränke bekommen. Auch wieder nicht mit der besten Laune. Da wir nur Fischbrötchen essen wollten, musste ich mich zu dem Fenster begeben. Was ich da erlebte war genau das Gegenteil. Die BESTEN Fischbrötchen die wir bisher gegessen hatten. Beim abräumen der Pappen, anstatt Tellern, war eine andere Servicekraft auch nicht der besten Laune. Sie hat rumgemault, weil ich den Aschenbecher auf die Pappen stellte, damit diese nicht wegfliegen. Und das Leider musste ich auch noch auf die Toilette, nicht empfehlenswert. Alles im allen Personal 1 Stern und Essen 5 Sterne.

We ordered a set dinner. One set with schnitzel plus fries and salad, which was edible, but my dinner set with three different fish, spinach, sauce and baked potatoes was a disaster. The fish was edible, but: the spinach was served cold, the sauce that was "covered" over the fish was terribly fatty and generally speaking inedible, the baked potatoes were the worst: old, rubbery, dripping with grease and not at all browned (where they should have been). The information was passed on to the staff, who took note and quickly left the table without a word. Personally, I do not recommend this dish.

Nice little restaurant/bistro with traditional charm in the middle of the small old town of Burg on Fehmarn. Can be found on what is essentially the main street, “Breiten Straße”. There is indoor and outdoor seating. The cozy atmosphere can be felt outside, but I can't judge the inside because we sat outside in the beautiful sunshine, where almost every seat was occupied even at 5 p.m. The service was friendly and quick; Both drinks and food arrived at our table quickly and neatly. The food was fairly priced and tasted good. Definitely more of a bistro character but that's how it was declared and it was definitely delicious. There is also a good selection of fish sandwiches and the food can be taken away. We would come back and try more. :)

Went there today, ordered island plates (pork medallions, mixed vegetables, Bernaise sauce, fried potatoes, salad garnish). Medallions hard, fried to death, tasteless, so cold that not even the herb butter on them melted. Vegetables were completely overcooked, you could have eaten them without teeth, fried potatoes were ok, salad garnish consisted of an eighth of iceberg lettuce in one piece, two pieces of cucumber, a quarter of tomato and a spoonful of cream on top. All in all subpar, I had it returned, it wasn't charged even though the service wasn't very friendly. Once and never again caboose!
