The food in the galley is reasonably priced, and the fish was fresh and tasted good. Unfortunately, the food as a whole was very greasy: the fried potatoes were mainly coated in fat and not fried, and the schnitzel was not completely cooked through and was heavily saturated with fat from the breading. The atmosphere also suffers from the open kitchen, as the bistro doesn't seem particularly clean - a lot of the things we touched were slightly sticky. The service could also have been a little friendlier. The thing that seems to be most worthwhile here is to take the fresh fish sandwiches with you - unfortunately we weren't that enthusiastic about everything else.

Das schlechteste Bistro/Restaurant was wir in den letzten Jahren besucht haben. Das Essen war ungenießbar, rein gar nichts gewürzt. Die Scholle und die Bratkartoffeln triefend vor Fett. Remolade war reine Mayonnaise. Außerdem war es schmutzig, die Speisekarte und Tische klebten. Für 2 Personen 50 Euro bezahlt, hätte man gleich in die Tonne kloppen können. Hab mich nur geärgert, dass wir die Bewertungen nicht vorher gelesen haben.

Have just eaten a fried fish and herring roll. According to the photos it looked really good. What you get now is not worth the money. Cheap roll is not crispy, no taste. Hardly any remulade. The whole thing had hardly any taste. It's one of the worst fish sandwiches we've eaten so far. Baked fish for €5.80 and herring for €3.80. Hands off.

The fish rolls are very good and taste fantastic, BUT the rest is very friendly but a catastrophe, the waiters are drowning in impudence, disrespect and unfriendliness. You just feel like you are a money supplier. The ambience leaves a lot to be desired. The only positive thing Apart from the food, the woman standing at the window selling street food is the only one who can at least say "Hello" and "Enjoy your meal". I think that says it all and think about it several times before entering this juice shop.

Fish rolls with fish cakes are absolutely not recommended, small frozen meatballs warmed up in the deep fryer. Not tasty at all...👎

We had fish rolls and non-alcoholic hefeweizen, the roll with Bismarck herring was freshly prepared and was very tasty, the roll with fried fish was also freshly prepared, but unfortunately the tartar sauce made the roll soggy pretty quickly. The lady who prepared the rolls was very friendly, the colleague who took the order for the beers and served them was initially rather dismissive. Only later, when we brought the glasses inside, did she become friendlier. Unfortunately, you could find the way to the toilets with your eyes closed, just by the smell - even though they are in the basement. Since we sat outside in the sunshine, we can rate the ambience with three stars. Conclusion: The fish sandwiches are good and not as overpriced as on the other side of the street. If you can sit outside due to the weather, it's ok. Cleanliness still needs to be worked on.

Sehr unfreundliche und mürrische Menschen, die dort arbeiten... Wir sind prompt aufgestanden und wieder gegangen. Schade, war mal ein netter Laden mit guten Fischbrötchen.

It's unbelievable what has become of the galley. Service was a disaster - it doesn't matter, I just wanted to eat, I thought. One child was not served the fish & chips request but had to order the food separately and was served it in a Styrofoam bowl (banned in the EU since 2021). The other dishes followed, served unkindly. I have never eaten such bad plaice fillets. It's a shame that an animal had to be sacrificed for this - mealworms would have had the same taste. Fried potatoes with ready-made seasoning and old fat - BÄHHHHH. After there wasn't a tip immediately, we had a minute's silence with the waiter. NEVER AGAIN!

The food was like that, the cleanliness was okay and on the way to the toilet in the basement it smelled and the women's toilet was broken so women had to use the men's toilet too. Unfortunately we cannot recommend the galley.

Today we were with 3 people in this restaurant on the outside terrace and wanted to have a delicious alcoholic drink there. The waiter, who wasn't too friendly, gave us the cards to choose from. We sat on the terrace and wanted to have a drink and eat fish sandwiches. The waitress was a very grumpy man and that alone forced me to get up. Wir wollten eigentlich nur was trinken(Außenbereich), was dem Kellner mürrisch machte. Trotzdem schnell die Getränke bekommen. Auch wieder nicht mit der besten Laune. Da wir nur Fischbrötchen essen wollten, musste ich mich zu dem Fenster begeben. Was ich da erlebte war genau das Gegenteil. Die BESTEN Fischbrötchen die wir bisher gegessen hatten. Beim abräumen der Pappen, anstatt Tellern, war eine andere Servicekraft auch nicht der besten Laune. Sie hat rumgemault, weil ich den Aschenbecher auf die Pappen stellte, damit diese nicht wegfliegen. Und das Leider musste ich auch noch auf die Toilette, nicht empfehlenswert. Alles im allen Personal 1 Stern und Essen 5 Sterne.

The Wiener Schnitzel was good. Unfortunately, the fish plate didn't quite meet my expectations. One of three fish fillets had a crispy breading, while the other two were practically drowned in sauces. I would recommend serving the sauces separately. The fish was fresh, but the fried potatoes were unfortunately unseasoned. The ambience on the outside terrace was okay. It's just a fish bistro and not a restaurant.

We were there to eat delicious fish and have something to drink. We decided to just have a drink as the items on the menu didn't appeal to us. We asked the very grumpy waiter whether it was okay to eat the fish sandwich at the table, which the customer had to fetch from the restaurant and pay for immediately. When we wanted to pay for the drinks, the waiter was very angry that we wanted to pay with an EC card. He then slammed the receipt on the table and called after us to put away our cardboard and the fish sandwiches ourselves... what???? That's what the restaurant offers! Should we wash our own dishes too??? Really outrageous. Be careful when using the toilet. Well...maybe it was Halloween decoration...Would fit the season. Danger of slipping on the stairs and down by the toilets due to old grease, cobwebs and big flies everywhere...You have to be brave when flushing. Simply press the white Nupsi deeply and jerk. Then it's working. Conclusion: The fish sandwich was good, the rest was just terribly bad.

We ordered a set dinner. One set with schnitzel plus fries and salad, which was edible, but my dinner set with three different fish, spinach, sauce and baked potatoes was a disaster. The fish was edible, but: the spinach was served cold, the sauce that was "covered" over the fish was terribly fatty and generally speaking inedible, the baked potatoes were the worst: old, rubbery, dripping with grease and not at all browned (where they should have been). The information was passed on to the staff, who took note and quickly left the table without a word. Personally, I do not recommend this dish.

It wasn't our first time eating here, but what we were served yesterday wasn't even worth one star. The fish and fried potatoes were dripping with fat and the fried potatoes were completely soggy. In the second dish with fish and so-called pepper cream sauce, the fish was not properly fried and the breading was completely soft. But the absolute highlight was the so-called pepper cream sauce. A white pulp full of leeks and other vegetables with an overdose of pepper from the pepper shaker. That was definitely our last visit there, after the waiter quickly left without a word after we told him that the food was just bad.

Nice little restaurant/bistro with traditional charm in the middle of the small old town of Burg on Fehmarn. Can be found on what is essentially the main street, “Breiten Straße”. There is indoor and outdoor seating. The cozy atmosphere can be felt outside, but I can't judge the inside because we sat outside in the beautiful sunshine, where almost every seat was occupied even at 5 p.m. The service was friendly and quick; Both drinks and food arrived at our table quickly and neatly. The food was fairly priced and tasted good. Definitely more of a bistro character but that's how it was declared and it was definitely delicious. There is also a good selection of fish sandwiches and the food can be taken away. We would come back and try more. :)

Went there today, ordered island plates (pork medallions, mixed vegetables, Bernaise sauce, fried potatoes, salad garnish). Medallions hard, fried to death, tasteless, so cold that not even the herb butter on them melted. Vegetables were completely overcooked, you could have eaten them without teeth, fried potatoes were ok, salad garnish consisted of an eighth of iceberg lettuce in one piece, two pieces of cucumber, a quarter of tomato and a spoonful of cream on top. All in all subpar, I had it returned, it wasn't charged even though the service wasn't very friendly. Once and never again caboose!

I've never eaten so badly in my life. Really not...the fish didn't taste like anything and was super bad. No taste, the salad tasted terrible at all, despite the yucky sauce. And 22 euros for that. I was very annoyed about such bad food...I had ordered a bottle of water and was sure it was tap water...unfortunately you can't prove it. I would never eat there again

The food is absolutely not recommended. I had the Fehmarn skewer with 2 different sauces that looked as if they had already been eaten, the fish tasted like it had been refrigerated at Iglo and the fried potatoes were dripping with fat. Wer gut essen und zufrieden nach Hause gehen möchte, sollte dieses Lokal nicht besuchen. Die Scholle war eine voll Katastrophe weder gewürzt noch gebraten nur durchs Fett gezogen. Über den Salat wurde ein Joghurt geleert. Mehr war’s nicht. Ich könnte noch weiterschreiben, aber das reicht. Zu dritt haben wir 80 € bezahlt, 80 € zu viel!

Visited a fish restaurant for my wife's sake. From the outside it looks very nice and inviting. Sure, the menu with “non-fish offerings” is small, which is completely understandable. But what I got as “garlic schnitzel” was the last thing! A thin, burnt, breaded shoe sole that was then sprinkled with an excessive amount of garlic powder. The fried potatoes were drowning in fat and were anything but crispy. With all understanding, you can always get a schnitzel fried and using garlic fresh or as oil is not difficult either. I would never recommend this restaurant. The food also went back. I found almost €80 for four people to be more than excessive for the meal.

The staff tried to be friendly, but were visibly unmotivated. The food was really terrible! So really terrible! I had the “recommendation” plaice with North Sea crabs and hollandaise sauce and fried potatoes. I have never eaten this dish worse (and I don't mean that in a bad way). Der Service "lauert" im Türrahmen und bringt schnell Karten und Getränke... bis hierhin noch gut. Dann gab es, weil nur kleiner Hunger, einen Garnelenspieß. Dieser scheint nur die Fritteuse zu kennen, keine Röstaromen und somit labsch. Dazu gab es wunderbares Brot mit Knoblauch(Creme). Das Beste war der Wodka danach in der Unterkunft.

First the food, we had plaice in an egg coating with a dollop of tartar sauce and fried potatoes. The fish and potatoes were dripping with fat and all in all totally tasteless. Canteen quality for €19.90. But the worst thing is the service. The wrong food was brought to the table and taken away again 2 minutes later and served at the neighboring table. We hadn't touched the food yet, but that's not possible. If I had been the second recipient I would not have accepted it. The waiter was totally unfriendly and indifferent towards the guests. You simply feel like you are being abused as a provider of money and have nothing to do with the hospitality industry.

First of all: the fish (redfish and salmon) was good to very good. The fried potatoes are coarse pieces of potato that appear to be briefly tossed through the pan and probably only take on color from a ready-made seasoning. Fried potatoes are different! The salad plate mainly consists of a lot of cheap iceberg lettuce, roughly chopped with stalks, yellow and green (!) peppers on the edge, cucumber slices, 3 bland tomato quarters and 4 lemon quarters. What appears to be a ready-made dressing on top. As I said, the fish is good, but the price is not justified. Service okay.

If I had read all the negative reviews on TripAdvisor prior to choosing a restaurant for lunch then I would never have chosen this restaurant. Fortunately, we made a spontaneous choice, based on our local knowledge. On entering, we were asked which languages we spoke (English and Danish) and were promptly handed a collection of menus in English. Danish and Swedish. Our chosen dishes arrived promptly; were much appreciated, though the size of the portions was somewhat large. Give this restaurant a try; you will not be disappointed. It serves both in-house and takeway customers: both groups are served promptly.

It's a shame, but when I see that the crabs and side dish are placed on the plate with the raw hand so that I can then wipe my fingers on my jeans :(, The plaice fillet with fried potatoes was floating in oil:(, fried potatoes were soft, and that for 20€. Samstags um 12 wurden wir vom Service sehr robust in Empfang genommen: wir öffnen gleich…. Die Schollenfilets waren sehr fettig und nicht gewürzt, ebenso die mitgelieferten Bratkartoffeln, die viel Fett aber keine vernünftige Hitze gesehen haben. Bier wurde prompt und auch aufmerksam nachgeliefert. Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis unterirdisch. Das Niveau reicht nicht einmal für einen Schnellimbiss. In den Toiletten roch es unangenehm und Handtücher gabs auch nicht. Fazit: Nicht zu empfehlen!

Einfaches Ambiente im Freien, nette Bedienung, super frischer Dorsch, große Portion! Wir waren sehr sehr zufrieden!

The problem was that the female waiter consistently ignored us When I asked her if we could order our drinks, she told us that she wouldn't serve us because we weren't Ala card guests and had only bought a fish sandwich outside the house. We were there 2 years ago and were really happy! Were there on April 19th, as others wrote, it smelled strongly of fat, the food was on the bottom shelf. 4. Here's the impression: The menu outside the "restaurant" looked relatively good... but that was it. The staff was quite unfriendly and listless, and the food wasn't as expected either. I give one star because you can't give none. I don't even know where else one could give constructive criticism here. Service, friendliness underground. I can no longer recommend this restaurant at all, 1. the chef seems to like ready-made sauces 2. The fried potatoes were not edible at all. After entering the front door you are not in a galley but in two shops. In one, on the left side, you can buy fish sandwiches and then leave the shop again. (through the entrance) Buying a fish sandwich does not entitle you to sit down inside. On the right there is seating and a second restaurant. (Not visually separated or a clue) Only the waiter, who can't be surpassed in terms of arrogance (he thinks he works at the Ritz). There is no morning or good day. You are greeted with “fish sandwiches?” Then don't sit down! Once and never again! Even my daughter (5 years old) asked why the man was so mean. That says it all. Oh yes, the food. Fish and chips fresh from the bag into the deep fryer. The fish sandwiches are nicer, fresher and probably tastier to make at home.

I was there in March. When you enter the store with a cheerful "Moin," there is no response from the dark-haired lady with the grumpy expression on her face. The fried fish roll also only tasted mediocre. I wouldn't go there again.

There are good fish sandwiches to eat here. The prices are okay, a little lower than at the harbor, but also a little less fish. All in all, the price is normal for the island.

Poor quality baked fish is cut into small pieces and sold as kibbling!
