Steakhouse Rodizio in Dortmund

Vielleicht war der Keller neu oder hatte einen schlechten Tag. Nach der Getränkekarte/ Dessertkarte gefragt/Getränke bestellt und es dauerte ewig,obwohl es nicht voll war.(Hat man im Blick wenn man aus dem Gewerbe kommt 😉) Und jedes Mal wenn er zum Tische abräumen kam, sah er mein Gesicht😅 drehte ab und brachte die Anfrage dann sofort😍 aber das ist kein Ausschlusskriterium für eine schlechte Bewertung😇 Das Essen war einfach nur mega🫶 Qualität und Preis Top🙏 Wir können es zu 100 % weiterempfehlen und werden sicherlich auch dort wieder einkehren.

Ich rief an, um zu reservieren, und man reagierte beleidigt, als ich nach dem Rodizzio fragte. „Wir sind kein Rodizzio.“ Verwirrend und enttäuschend. Wenn man so mit zukünftigen Kunden umgeht, möchte ich mir nicht vorstellen, wie es beim nächsten Mal zugeht…

Es war damals mal besser, aber immer noch im oberen Bereich.

Wir hatten einen tollen Besuch im Steakhouse Rodizio. Das Fleisch war frisch, zart und sehr schmackhaft, und die Auswahl war groß. Die Bedienung war freundlich und aufmerksam, und die Atmosphäre war warm und einladend. Wir haben den Besuch sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder.

Ein Punkt für Service ist noch zu viel. Wir waren zu Fuß unterwegs bei sehr warmen Wetter. Wollten uns nur kurz hinsetzen und ein kaltes Getränk zu uns nehmen. Das wurde uns trotz der Hitze untersagt. Mit der Begründung, dies sei ein Speiserestaurant und kein Kaffee.

Toller Service, tolles Essen, alle ExtraWünsche wurden erfüllt ohne zu diskutieren! Draußen auf der Terrasse wunderschön, auch wenn man nur einen Blick auf den Parkplatz hat, aber es ist angenehm ruhig und entspannt.

Wir hatten für 19 Uhr reserviert. Leider haben dort nicht essen können, weil wir keinen Parkplatz vor Ort oder in der nähe bekommen haben. Denn dort gibt es nicht nur das Lokal, sondern auch ein Gym,eine Physiotherapie Praxis und Altersheim. Habe keine Lust entfernt zu parken und dann noch teuer zu bezahlen. Sehr schade für das Restaurant

Na ja, zwischen Anspruch, 1. Eindruck und erbrachten Leistungen gab es schon noch viel Luft nach oben. Die grellen Deckenstrahler über den Tischen sind absolut daneben. Da kommt kein Ambiente auf. Speisenangebot teils lieblos und wenig kreativ. Was sollen die Weinbergschnecken in einer einfachen Sauce Bearnaise?? Und der Gargrad der bestellten Steaks waren auch nicht okay. Somit sehe ich hier echten Handlungsbedarf beim Küchenteam für die Geschäftsführung. 🤔☝️

Wir (5) waren in der Woche um 18 Uhr da und waren soweit ich das sehen konnte, die ersten. Kurz danach wurde es etwas voller. Ob es um die Uhrzeit generell so frei ist, kann ich nicht beurteilen, vielleicht waren die anderen Plätze - so wie unserer - auch reserviert. An dem Tag war es sehr heiß und die Klimaanlage hatte gut was zu tun. Wie schon einige beschrieben haben, wurde es nach und nach lauter, was ich aber bei solch einem Ambiente völlig okay finde. Das Essen war mega, ich war das zweite Mal da und fand es wieder sehr gut. Drei meiner Begleiter waren das erste Mal dort und waren ebenfalls begeistert. Kommen sicherlich mal wieder, aber dann an kühleren Tagen ☺️

Der Service war absolute Spitzenklasse. Essen war auch lecker, Portionen riesig.

Wir kommen immer wieder gerne ins Steakhaus Rodizio. Die Steaks sind jedes Mal perfekt auf den Punkt gebraten und von hervorragender Qualität. Auch alle anderen Speisen sind stets sehr lecker und frisch zubereitet. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die super freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung, die dafür sorgt, dass man sich rundum wohlfühlt. Toller Service, tolles Essen und eine angenehme Atmosphäre absolut empfehlenswert! 😊

Vom ersten Moment an ein freundlicher Empfang und ein aufmerksamer Service. Beide Steaks sowie die Beilagen ausgezeichnet. Nach einigen Enttäuschungen in anderen Lokalen ein 1a Erlebnis. Auch die Getränkeauswahl ist so sicherlich selten zu finden , Top Produkte. Von mir eine klare Empfehlung, die auch eine längere Anfahrt Wert ist.

Ich kann es absolut empfehlen; es sieht sehr gelungen, lecker und genussvoll aus. Ich war vor dem Probieren etwas skeptisch, aber es ist wirklich sehr lecker.

Wird mal Zeit, dass ich euch bewerte. Ich kann jetzt schreiben, wie fantastisch das Essen ist und wie außergewöhnlich der Service, ich kann auch darüber schreiben, wie wunderbar das Ambiente ist, aber das reicht meines Erachtens nicht aus, um zu erklären, wie unfassbar liebevoll ein Aufenthalt bei euch ist. Ins Rodizio zu kommen, ist wie ein Besuch bei der liebsten Familie. Ich fühle mich bei euch nicht wie ein Gast, sondern mehr wie eine Schwester. Wenn für mich bei über 30°C im Schatten im Frühsommer Last Christmas gespielt wird und dann tatsächlich andere Gäste tanzen und mitsingen, dann weißt du, du bist angekommen. Ganz viel Liebe für euch alle, und bis die Tage.

Tolles Steakhaus mit super Atmosphäre und freundlichem Service! Besonders gut fanden wir, dass man die Zutaten individuell zusammenstellen kann. Die Trüffel-Pommes meiner Frau waren top und mein Assado-Teller mit Pommes, Spinat und verschiedene Fleischsorten waren perfekt gegrillt und sehr lecker. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wir waren kürzlich im Rodizio in Dortmund, doch leider waren wir enttäuscht. Sowohl unser Hüftsteak als auch das Tenderloin waren viel zu durchgebraten, statt auf die gewünschte Garstufe zubereitet. Man kam mit Ausreden, dass es am Warmen Wetter liege. Zudem war die Kräuterbutter komplett gefroren. Der Mojito schmeckte nur nach Zitrone und war leider ungenießbar. Der Salat mit Joghurt-Dressing war sehr fad, und die Bratkartoffeln hatten kaum Speckwürfel und waren zudem angebrannt. Auch der Service war leider enttäuschend – es wirkte mehr wie Schein als Sein, und wir haben uns insgesamt mehr erwartet. Wir waren leider zum letzten Mal dort!

Salat Argentina top und dazu ein Pornstar Martini – sehr zu empfehlen. Alles frisch, geschmacklich super abgestimmt und wirklich mal etwas Besonderes. Komme gerne wieder 👍

Grillteller bestellt. Von 3 Stücken leider nur eines auf Punkt gebraten. Eines war bereits durch und ein weiteres eher rare. Auch wenn sonst alles anstandslos war, erwarte Ich schon, dass man in einen Steakhouse das Fleisch wie gewünscht hinbekommt.

Wir waren nicht begeistert. Das Rumsteak war teilweise zu roh und teilweise zu durch. Außerdem hat es uns eingenebelt, was dazu führte das Haare und Kleidung auch nach dem Besuch noch unangenehm stanken. Das Putengeschnetzelte war einfach Schrott (billigkantinequallität). Unserer Kellner war unaufmerksam und auch nicht wirklich freundlich, eher wortkarg und überheblich. Die Hauptgerichte dauerten zu lang und wir mussten beim Bestellen und bezahlen zu lang warten. Auch der noch schmutzige Teller auf der die Vorspeise serviert wurde, trug negativ zum Gesamterlebnis bei. Alles in allem waren das 91€ (ohne Trinkgeld), für zwei Personen die wir uns im Nachhinein gern gespart hätten.

Hier waren wir definitiv nicht das letzte mal. So ein wunderschönes Ambiente und leckeres Essen. Es war einfach mega toll.

Seit Jahren ist das Rodizio die Anlaufstelle in Sachen Fleisch und Gemütlichkeit. Nur Fernando fehlt 😑

Bestes, sehr zartes Tenderloin Filetsteak, super freundlicher und schneller Service. Bereits mehrfach dort gewesen und gerne immer wieder :-)

Leider Absolut nicht zu empfehlen Leider zahlt due Geschäftsführung ihre Handwerker Rechnungen nicht !!!!!! Wie sich nun raus stellt leider keine Seltenheit sondern die Masche dieses Hauses ! Das Essen mag zwar schmecken wobei ich auch dies zuletzt eher miserabel fand aber als Handwerker rate ich jedem anderen Handwerker oder Unternehmer ab mit diesem Laden Geschäfte zu machen und würde mir wünschen das dies auch die Gäste überdenken wem Sie dort das Geld geben ,einem Unternehmer der selbst seine Rechnunfen nicht Zahlt

War wie immer ein Erlebnis. Toller und zuvorkommender Service. Qualitativ sehr gutes Essen. Getränkekarte sehr gute Auswahl mit echten Highlights. Wer hier unzufrieden herausgeht, dem ist definitiv nicht zu helfen. Tischreservierung ist sinnvoll.

Habe echt in vielen Steak Häusern auf der ganzen Welt gegessen aber hier ist es echt grausam Die Mitarbeiter katastrophal zu arrogant würde ich nicht weiter empfehlen!

Ich war bereits mehrfach im Steakhouse Rodizio und war insgesamt meist zufrieden. Umso enttäuschender war mein heutiger Besuch. Ich hatte ein American Tenderloin (300 g, ca. 70 €) medium bestellt. Beim ersten Anschneiden fiel sofort auf, dass das Fleisch ungewöhnlich fest war. Es zeigte sich durchgehend grau – auch bei weiteren Schnitten war klar erkennbar, dass das Steak komplett durchgegart war und nichts mehr mit „medium“ zu tun hatte. Auf meine Reklamation hin wurde mir vom Kellner allen Ernstes erklärt, ich würde das falsch sehen und die graue Farbe läge am Sonnenlicht bzw. an „ultraviolettem Licht“, da wir am Fenster saßen. Diese Aussage war nicht nur fachlich fragwürdig, sondern wurde auch in einem sehr belehrenden und oberlehrerhaften Ton vorgetragen. Nachdem ich darauf bestand, dass das Steak nicht korrekt gegart war, nahm der Kellner es mit in die Küche und kam anschließend mit seinem Handy zurück, um mir Fotos zu zeigen, auf denen angeblich noch „Blut im Kern“ zu sehen sei. Diese Art der Diskussion war für mich schlicht eine Frechheit. Die Situation eskalierte unnötig, es entstand eine unangenehme Szene im Restaurant, und ich fühlte mich vorgeführt und respektlos behandelt. Erst nachdem sich die Schichtführung eingeschaltet hatte, bekam ich ein neues Steak – inklusive frischer Beilagen. Dieses war dann auch einwandfrei und entsprach der Bestellung. Trotzdem bleibt ein sehr negativer Gesamteindruck. Bei einem Preisniveau von deutlich über 100 € pro Person erwarte ich nicht nur Qualität beim Essen, sondern auch einen respektvollen und professionellen Umgang mit berechtigter Kritik. Aufgrund dieses Erlebnisses werde ich das Restaurant nicht mehr besuchen.

Wir besuchten dieses Restaurant auf Empfehlung meines Sohnes. Das Fleisch und seine Präsentation waren fantastisch. Die signierten Trikots von Dortmunder Fußballlegenden im Hintergrund verliehen dem Ganzen eine besondere Note.

Super Service, tolle Atmosphäre und hervorragendes Essen. Die Auswahl an Fassbier war zwar begrenzt, aber alle Biere waren frisch.

Wir haben hier ein vorzügliche Steak genossen. Gerne wieder.

Das Essen war von hervorragender Qualität, der Service ebenfalls, selbst an einem Fußballtag mussten wir nicht lange warten.

Wir sind Belgier und nur auf der Durchreise durch Dortmund. Eine unglaubliche Entdeckung! Die Preise sind zwar etwas höher, aber es lohnt sich absolut! Die Trüffelgerichte – mit echten Trüffeln! Das Fleisch, perfekt zubereitet, zergeht förmlich auf der Zunge. Eine einzigartige und freundliche Atmosphäre und ein tadelloser Service! Ich kann es uneingeschränkt empfehlen!

Ein ganz tolles Steakhaus. Nette Bedienung, trotz vollem Haus. Fleisch war wie bestellt schön Medium und sehr lecker. Haben mit 4 Personen die grosse Steakplatte von 1,5kg Fleisch mit Genuss leer gemacht.

Sehr enttäuschend, ein Rodizio, dass kein Rodizio anbietet. Schade

Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience today. I entered the restaurant to purchase gift certificates for several people for a larger sum. Although I am usually very patient and understand that they can be busy, I waited in vain for over 10 minutes without being approached. A waitress glanced over at me several times but continued chatting with other guests without making any attempt to approach me. Two other waiters walked past me multiple times. Out of respect, I didn't want to call out to anyone across the dining room and continued waiting. In the end, I wasted 10 minutes, lost a regular customer, and missed out on several potential new customers who would have been gained through the gift certificates. This makes me sad and, frankly, a little angry. Merry Christmas.

Very tasty and super friendly staff!!!!

THE GOOD: The food was average. I ordered a bacon burger with a mountain of fries. The burger, oddly enough, consisted of two small burgers. No idea why. THE BAD: Nervous atmosphere. The server wandered around aimlessly, talked loudly, and only brought the drinks after I asked several times. THE UGLY: Way too expensive. A bacon burger with fries cost over €20. A small Coke cost €3.90. I left almost €30 on the table.

The food is truly excellent. The service is very patient and attentive. However, the ambiance is a drawback. Why? Time slots... really? Yes, understandable from management's perspective, but for a group wanting to have a proper drink after dinner... a definite no-go. Furthermore, it's far too hot (the ventilation is inadequate for so many people) and much too loud. Very crowded and cramped, again understandable from management's point of view, but ultimately, sometimes too much is simply too much.

Excellent lunch menu, great service and atmosphere

We were a party of four who went there in the evening without a reservation. The place was packed. After a short, moderate wait, we were greeted very warmly. We felt welcome right from the start, even in the waiting area at the bar. Despite the size of the restaurant, our table was very cozy and somewhat secluded. The atmosphere was pleasant. The drinks service was quick and consistently friendly. The food arrived surprisingly quickly, despite the restaurant being busy. Even with the usual wait for steaks, it was perfectly acceptable. My sirloin steak for €34.90 was cooked to perfection and tasted fantastic. The others were also very satisfied. The house Primitivo was excellent; I immediately treated myself to a second glass. I had heard from friends beforehand about supposedly arrogant and inattentive service. I can't confirm that at all. On the contrary, we experienced very attentive and professional service. All in all, a very successful evening. Absolutely nothing to complain about. We'll gladly come back.

Because of the waiter who, in front of everyone and witnesses, told a colleague not to order at the bar because he was getting drunk (in front of four witnesses), only ordered one beer to exonerate the waiter, just like I did myself, who ordered wine. Unbelievable! The head waiter... The food and drinks were good, but... no way, I will never set foot in that place again. I've traveled all over Germany, and this kind of thing is unacceptable.

We were in Dortmund for the Women's Handball World Championship and wanted to grab a decent bite to eat before the tournament started. Rodizio was the perfect place for that. We'd reserved a table the day before and arrived well in advance. A friendly welcome and communicative waiters with a good sense of humor – it was a great start. As a starter, we ordered carpaccio, which was beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious. For our main courses, we had filet mignon (one with béchamel sauce) with spinach and a baked potato, and Argentinian roast beef with a side salad. The meat was cooked to our liking (medium-rare) and seasoned perfectly. The spinach was an unusual choice with the filet, but it was so well-seasoned and prepared that we'll definitely be trying it at home. The ambiance was rustic and just right for a steakhouse. We'll definitely be back!

The food, ambiance, and service were excellent. The only downside was that it was very crowded and we had to wait at least 30 minutes for our reserved table. There was even entertainment; two samba dancers livened things up.

The ambiance is great... lots of wood, rustic tables, chairs, etc. We liked it. The service is attentive, quick, and friendly... all good. The food... well... My Stroganoff consisted of two sad little hemispheres of rice and a bit of meat lost in the tasteless sauce. My companion's hamburger was only medium-rare... The waiter's comment: "Our ground beef is so good you could eat it raw." Seriously, folks... poor quality food at exorbitant prices. My conclusion: No thanks.

Neither the location, nor the building, nor its exterior gives any indication of what awaits inside. It was probably a good thing I went in the dark. Inside, a top-notch meat restaurant! Superb service! Kudos. They were efficient, attentive, and quick, and every order, including all special requests, arrived exactly as ordered and to the correct person. Quite an achievement with 16 meals! The meat was cooked to perfection! Absolutely nothing to criticize. The price-performance ratio is perfect! Highly recommended.

Our Experience at the Steakhouse in Witten We visited the steakhouse as a couple and initially had a good impression of the restaurant's exterior. Upon entering, we were greeted warmly and asked if we had a reservation. After declining, we were shown to a table. The menus were printed on very thick paper – however, many pages were worn, frayed, and in places, soiled. The drinks menu was also quite heavy. At around €45 per dish, the prices were in the upper-middle range. The food itself was also average in terms of taste. The Béarnaise sauce was the highlight for us and truly delicious. The Argentinian steak was okay, but not outstanding. We weren't contacted shortly after the food was served, especially regarding the doneness of the meat – we would have appreciated a quick check-in. During our meal, a staff member's phone rang nearby with an unpleasant ringtone, disrupting the atmosphere. When we asked for the bill, we were asked three times if we wanted to pay together – completely unnecessary, as we had already answered that question. Finally, the bill was placed on the table rather rudely, which significantly marred the overall impression of the visit. In conclusion: A restaurant with an appealing exterior, but with clear weaknesses in service and a menu that urgently needs updating.

Another great evening! With Tomahawk and everything else, the evening was perfect. Thanks, see you Saturday, I'll be back then! 👍

Unfortunately, the welcome was unfriendly; we were shown to our table without a word. The service was also poor; drinks were forgotten or arrived only after being carried. The food was not worth the price.

The food was very good. The drinks were somehow... uninspired. If you like steak, this is the place for you. I had apple spritzer, which was pre-mixed bottled Astra beer, and I would have preferred a hand-mixed spritzer. We missed having a local Dortmund beer.

Unfortunately, the quality of the food has declined significantly in recent years. The food is still good, but the value for money isn't right. The price has roughly doubled in recent years. Furthermore, they try to fill tables three times a night. The service staff, including the manager, create a hectic and stressful atmosphere, so that a pleasant meal and a pleasant atmosphere are completely lost. It's a real shame.

A tip for service! If you're having a bad day, waiters should take the day off and stay home. Otherwise, the food was good.

I tell you what! Excellent food, great value for money, great atmosphere, but what stands out is the quality of the staff!!! Highly recommend it!!!

Food was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. But it also took forever to arrive (around 2h total from when our admittedly large group arrived). Service rating isn't against the actual service people, they were all great, but the food tool ages to arrive, even the appetizers.

It is on expensive side but does have good food and perfect environment to have business and casual dinner

Very snooty, unfriendly staff. I've never had such an unfounded, unfriendly, and snotty experience with waiters. When we came in, my partner and I asked if there was a free seat because we had called ahead and asked. Both employees looked at us and ignored us until one of them, after asking twice, said, "Just anywhere," in a somewhat unfriendly tone, and left. We then sat outside for a while, and when the drinks we wanted with our cigarettes didn't arrive, we wanted to sit inside and talked to the two employees who were standing outside. We asked again if it was okay to go inside and if they could perhaps take the light with us. He looked at us. There was no smile, and he first said to my partner, "I don't understand what you want from me now," and when he repeated himself and the situation was already a bit tense for him, the waiter said. Yes, they do have a candle in there. Afterwards, we ordered drinks, which, by the way, only arrived after two requests and an hour of waiting. Incidentally, I wanted to order a drink that apparently wasn't available in the restaurant, and I wasn't told that either. Everything was written down, and after an hour, when I asked again where the drinks were, he didn't say anything. He looked me straight in the face and said that the drink wasn't available at all. He asked again about all the drinks we'd ordered because he couldn't remember. When we wanted to order our steaks, the other waiter came over. The one who had initially been standing with the one who had already said so rudely, "Anywhere," when we asked for a free seat. And it started with his greeting. He acted like he was the greatest. We asked him several times for a recommendation and told him it was our first time there, and he kept beating around the bush, trying to belittle my partner and talk down to him. We've never experienced anything like this before. The steak was very tasty, but the rest, like the salad and the fries, looked more lifeless than at the last snack. The fries tasted like they'd been fried in old grease. We've always known that hospitality should come first, and you might even offer guests something as an appetizer beforehand, like some bread and olive oil or a small salad, but that varies from restaurant to restaurant. In my opinion, only one waiter was really friendly, and that was the gentleman who, I think, was of Russian origin. Although, as I said, the ambiance and the steak itself were really good. If we're very unlikely to come back, unfortunately.

Simply ridiculous; I have no idea why so many people love this place. The Bernaise sauce came from a packet. The waiter thought it was perfectly normal and emphasized that it was from Lucullus, as if that would make it better. This stuff was also poured over the snail appetizer. The meat was OK, but nothing special. Eating there once was enough for me, considering the price, it's a disgrace.

We only wanted to stay at the rodizio for about 30 minutes and have a drink, but not anything to eat, and we spontaneously dropped in since we were nearby. The waiter then informed us that we weren't welcome, but only if we also ordered something to eat. He then asked his manager, who then told us (even though she was standing 2 meters away from us) that we had to leave because guests who only wanted to drink but didn't eat were unwelcome. Even with a bit of decency and respect, the owner and the person in question could have said that. Well, the place was fairly empty, and there were plenty of free tables outside. We just wanted to have a cozy Coke and chat. Of course, we'll never go back to a place like that. If we were sent away like that, we certainly won't come back, even if we wanted to eat steak.
