Sehr gepflegtes Ambiente, aufmerksames Servicepersonal. Wünschenswert wäre mit der Speisekarte auch eine Getränkekarte zu erhalten, nicht geeignet für die kleine Geldbörse dafür alles in allem recht hochwertig durchdacht. Egal was man von der Karte bestellt , es schmeckt alles wahnsinnig gut.

I haven't eaten fillet steak this good in a long time. The side dishes and dessert were also very tasty. Service leaves nothing to be desired and the ambience is extremely appealing. There was even a show that evening. The Samba dancers are very surprising but definitely worth seeing. All in all we had a really nice evening. However, this restaurant is in the higher priced segment.

The service was very, very professional and experienced. Everything went smoothly and we didn't have to wait long for our food, even though the restaurant was very full. The carpaccio and filet was very, very good. The ambience is really great and like a real steakhouse. Of course, this good quality also has its price, but it is also appropriate.

Very nice meal for four. Top quality beef fillet and very tasty truffle fries. And all of this with little waiting time and at a more than fair price.

We were there yesterday for our wedding anniversary. Due to technical problems we had to wait 45 minutes before we could order the food. The food was very tasty and the steaks were cooked to perfection. There was so much that I couldn't do it all. But it was immediately packed up for me to take home. Price-wise it was a bit expensive, but the quality was also very good. Only the red wine broke the mold a little. €9.50 for a glass of 0.2 Primitivo was quite steep. Unfortunately we didn't get a drinks menu. Since it was very crowded, the noise level was very high and it was generally very restless. This was probably also related to the technical problems, as once the problems had been resolved they tried to serve all guests quickly. Unfortunately, our wedding day was a bit lost as a result.

Wir waren spontan und durch Zufall dort und wurden auf allen Ebenen vollkommen zufrieden gestellt. Der Service war super! Das Essen (Tenderloin) war einfach super. Genau so gebraten, wie wir es wollten. Auch die Getränke (Lugana) waren ein ein Genuss. Wir können es nur empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder.

Wir waren als,Grosse gruppe am 1.01.24 in Radizio Dortmund,unsere Besuch war enttäuschend und hinterließ einen biteren Beigeschmack.Kellner unfreundlich und die Organisation sehr schlecht ist.Nach servieren der Hauptspeisen Totaller ignoranz!!!von Kellner.Tische nicht aufgerämt da wir Große gruppe waren standen ganz viele Teller,Flaschen auf dem Tisch.Mitarbeiter sind nicht in der Lage die Gäste zu bedinen.Hier ist der Kunde krin König.Leider würde mich demnächst für ein anderes Restaurand entscheiden wo die Qualität und Freundlichkeit und Kundenservice groß geschrieben wird. We were there with our friends on Saturday evening. For me it was the first time. Unfortunately, I wasn't as thrilled from start to finish as I was led to believe. Unfortunately, the price was worth it that evening and we have no problem paying a lot if everything is right. Briefly explained: -Unfortunately the service staff was a bit unfriendly. -We had to give the steak back because the cooking point wasn't right. -When we didn't want a dessert menu we were ignored for 30 minutes until we left. Our glasses were all empty. - Water was even poured into the glass opposite the table. They put a closed bottle on the table for us. We won't be coming back again. But thank you trz for the evening.

So what the waiter allowed himself to do yesterday was an absolute disgrace. I invite my team to dinner and it is properly served. No expense spared. My brother orders a ribeye steak and it was burnt - the doneness looked good, but the taste was absolutely burnt. We wanted to spend a pleasant evening together and certainly didn't intend to annoy the waiter. As if complaining about a burnt piece of meat wasn't unpleasant enough, instead of simply accepting it and preparing a new piece of meat, it was discussed. The sweet potato fries were completely burnt - I think they were the last leftovers from the fryer from the previous customer. 😂😂 The waiter and then the head waiter came back to our table and claimed that everyone had tried the piece of meat and that it was perfect. 😂😂 He totally spoiled our cozy evening and started arguing with us! My God, that was embarrassing. Quantity instead of quality.

Yesterday we had dinner with a group at Steakhouse Rodizio and what can I say. An absolute failure... really. The menu seemed very inviting but we were extremely disappointed. We could have expected more with the money we left there, but I would have thrown what was presented to us in the trash at home. An absolute impudence to ask for money for this. The steak was burnt and overcooked, my friend's steak seemed warmed up and she chewed on it like it was chewing gum, the fries were cold and wobbly. Next time I'll go to McDonald's, where I'll get what I expect for the money. And then there is a discussion with us about the fact that our complaint is unjustified. And we all really agreed on that. I'll never go to this store again. I can only say juice shop with all my love Best regards to everyone, there is much better food in other restaurants for less money.

The food tasted good, but not very good. My steak was ordered "medium" and came out "well". In a steakhouse and at these prices, that shouldn't be the case. The service was very friendly and the drinks were brought quickly. However, I had to ask for the bill three times until it came 30 minutes later. For me, Rodizio is far too highly praised, and I can eat at least as well, if not better, in other steakhouses. And usually for less money. Was a unique experience.

Hello, had dinner at Rodizio last night at 10 p.m. Ordered Ribnitz eye steak. Looked good. After the first cut I noticed that the steak was burnt. Steak was sent back. The head waiter argued with me and didn't want to take it back. Then he took it with him. 5 minutes later he comes back and tells me that the steak is perfect and the whole team says so too. I DON'T CARE WHETHER YOU LIKE THE STEAK OR NOT. THE QUALITY AND THE MEAT WAS IN NO CONDITION, clean the grate when you fry good meat on it. Then the second piece of meat came. This time it was less fried and not medium well as I had ordered. The 2 pieces also tasted burnt in places and like old fat and old pepper that was from other steaks and was on mine. Conclusion: Absolutely dissatisfied. The waiter himself started arguing and didn't want to accept that the quality wasn't good, once and never again. Greetings

A dream in a very appealing atmosphere.

Been here again after years. I remembered it somehow differently. The meat wasn't bad, but you'd expect something different for a steakhouse. Service was good, but not outstanding. The space available is very limited and sometimes it is also very loud.

The food was very tasty and the portion size was appropriate. However, for the price asked, I expect something special. We ate there as a whole family and some were even less than satisfied (e.g. fries were too salty, broccoli was totally watery), while others thought the food was great. Therefore only 4/5 stars for the food. The service was nice, but also very hectic and only came to the table after repeated requests, so not very attentive. It was probably just too crowded and the team was perhaps understaffed? The ambience wasn't for us at all, it was way too loud. A meal should be comfortable and the volume should be such that you can still have a conversation. The Rodizio seems more like a trendy shop that thrives on the reputation that you could meet footballers there. Not my case and we only went along on the advice of some family members. There probably won't be a second visit.

In this restaurant, if you are Spanish, French, Italian or Portuguese……….Do not go, the mistreatment we receive has not happened to us anywhere in the world…..an hour and a half waiting for the dishes…not an explanation or an apology …. They can't stand clients who are superior to them, half Germans, half Turks. A ZERO!! Sitting at the table watching how people arrived, ate and left... and others arrived, sat down, ate and left... the two tables of Spaniards watching this and nothing happened there, it seemed like they were trying to get us to leave . The biggest disaster I have ever experienced in a restaurant The meat 🥩 very good!!!!

Wir wollten heute 21.09.2024 spontan im Rodizio essen gehen da wir immer sehr zufrieden waren, von der Bedienung bis hin zum essen alles sehr gut! Aber heute waren wohl sehr viele Geschäftsleute von der Messe da und darum wurde die Speisekarte verkürzt ( was wir noch bedingt verstanden haben ) aber die Preise doppelt so teuer zu machen finde ich persönlich absolut unverschämt! Auch der Empfang am heutigen Tag als wir uns als Normalo anmelden wollten wurden wir von der Dame nicht wahr genommen ( da sie lieber mit jemandem weiter reden wollte) bis uns ein freundlicher Kellner angesprochen hat! Schade das wohl kein Wert wenn Messe Gäste kommen die sogenannten normalen Gäste weniger gut behandelt werden! Echt schade da wir bis zum heutigen Tag sehr gerne da waren!

Update: September 21, 2024 We were there again today and initially thought we had ended up in a different restaurant. We eat here regularly several times a year, but I have never experienced anything like today. Since there was a trade fair in Dortmund, we were completely ignored as "normal people" at the reception despite having made a reservation. After what felt like five minutes, a waiter took pity and kindly led us to our table. There we were given a menu with only a handful of dishes. When we asked whether we could also order the usual dishes, we were told that there was only a very shortened menu due to the trade fair. We could have accepted that, but when we saw the prices (which are not cheap anyway), we realized that they were almost twice as high as usual. That's not serious. This used to be our favorite restaurant, but now we're seriously considering finding a new one. It's a shame it had to come to this. Old review: Absolutely great. The ambience and food are just very good.

I would say one of the best in Germany. I ate a rib-eye medium and spinach with it. I give both a 10 out of 10.

I wanted to pass the time with my wife this afternoon and have a drink for half an hour. We were told that this wasn't possible because we are purely a restaurant and that you can only eat something here. Then we left again. I've never experienced that you can't just drink something in a restaurant. The beautiful counter is probably just there to look at. Otherwise, at first glance, a very nice restaurant. The next company dinner will probably take place somewhere else.

After I gave back a steak that was 80% raw, I was insulted as to why I hadn't said something straight away and that next time I should cut it straight in the middle. Because of renovation work it smelled very much of paint and wasn't nice. Won't come back. Price performance doesn't match here, sorry

Food was good, service was very good, but unfortunately the constant construction noise caused by renovations was a bit annoying, but I don't think that should happen all the time, it can happen from time to time.

Very nice and cheerful service staff. The drinks came quickly and the wine was very tasty. I didn't eat anything but I can say from experience that the selection is very good and of very high quality. The ambience inside is very rustic with lots of wood and leather. Unfortunately, the outdoor area is a little neglected. I'm missing plants and decorations as well as lighting for the evening.

Dear Rodizio Steakhouse, Instead of making up wild stories, just stick to the facts! We are aware of the opening times. And yes, we are even able to read a clock. It's not a good idea to portray customers as stupid. The review relates almost exclusively to our visit later in the afternoon. Unfortunately, the service staff walked past our table several times and left us sitting with our empty glasses for a full 25 minutes. Discreet hand signals were obviously ignored. After dinner we wanted to pay. The fact that the food didn't suit my taste, well, tastes are different. I've eaten much better steaks for my taste. Back to the desire to pay: Once again we were left sitting for around 20 minutes and obviously ignored. And no, the restaurant wasn't full and the staff wasn't overworked. Just a note before this objection comes up. The following correction regarding our visit at 11:30 a.m.: We were accompanied by a physically disabled old lady. We asked your service staff whether she could sit outside (terrace) for the 30 minutes until opening. A very harsh answer followed: We don't open until 12:00 p.m. (yes, no one disputed that!) and you weren't allowed to sit down there before then. One actually expected an 80-year-old lady to stand in front of the entrance for 30 minutes, even though she would not have disturbed anyone or prevented anyone from working on a seat on the terrace. We asked again in a friendly manner, believing that we had misperceived the situation. No, please wait outside (outside the terrace), was replied again. Your comment "You wouldn't want a customer like that on anyone" is subterranean and only underlines how arrogant you act. We eat out three to four times a week and know a lot of restaurants in Dortmund. I can hereby confirm that we are welcome guests in all other restaurants and receive a warm welcome there, which unfortunately I cannot say about your steakhouse. By the way, you can take criticism and, if it is justified (the reader can decide for himself), use it to improve. Wanting to silence critics straight away (your comment: "request for deletion submitted") once again proves that it is better to keep a distance from you (and your restaurant). As you mention, there are plenty of other restaurants. Hopefully one or two readers who might have wanted to visit you might also think so. After this description, my original assessment now follows, which you can certainly understand by now. --- original review --- Very unfriendly staff, also inattentive. You are just paying something, but you are not treated as a guest. Food is just average. In short: Rodizio is completely overrated. Thanks, two visits, there won't be a third.

Great restaurant. I haven't eaten such delicious fried potatoes in a long time. Steak was perfectly medium rare. The atmosphere and staff are simply great.

For me there is no better steak in the world. I've been invited to the supposedly best steakhouses in Rio de Janeiro, New York and Berlin (although not in more cities), but for me nothing comes close to the American Tenderloin at Rodizio. I was here for the first time as a teenager over 20 years ago with my father. Nowadays I treat myself to a steak with my widowed mother every now and then and have never been disappointed. The staff is super friendly and you've known their faces for years, which shows that things are going well behind the scenes too. The food is really great - but I really miss the self-service salad bar from before. Prices have risen sharply and feel like they have doubled. But for me, an excellent steak every now and then is worth it. I find the “new” interior a bit dark. It is difficult to eat here with older people, especially in winter, as you can stumble on the slightly uneven ground. The parking situation is very problematic. But there is also a fly in the ointment for which the restaurant cannot be blamed. The audience is mostly clownish. So you shouldn't be bothered by the fact that an above-average number of guests attach great importance to showing off with a loudly roaring Mercedes in the back parking lot where the restaurant is located, and then wearing (Gucci) track pants in the restaurant very loud heroic stories to tell oneself in the hope of being admired at the neighboring tables. But that was the case almost from the beginning and you should just try to sit in a quieter corner. For a meal with serious business partners, I would consider other restaurants. But for an excellent steak it is my absolute top recommendation!

Great taste. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is borderline - and the €30 per person paid in advance when making a reservation is also not hospitable. Plus: very small drinks (there were no large soft drinks) and mayo from plastic bags.

Unfortunately it's no longer what it used to be!

Good restaurant with a very extensive menu, although some are very expensive. We all ate burgers here because the prices for the steaks were relatively high. The price gradations are a bit irritating. The 200g rump steak costs just under €29. Basically a “usual” price at first. However, according to the menu, only 100g more, i.e. 300g, means that the steak costs over €43?! The cheeseburger was very tasty and juicy. The fries were also as they should be. All in all, recommended if you don't mind the prices.

I ate there for the first time on the recommendation of my friend and was not disappointed. The food is very tasty and the steak is tender. Of course it's a little more expensive there, but the portions are big enough to fill you up (but of course dessert is always good). The spinach as a side dish was also particularly tasty. The staff is friendly and attentive, and there are menus in English. We ate asparagus and garlic bread, rib eye steak and point steak, it was exactly what we wanted. If you like your meat rare, it is better to ask for medium-rare or rare, so it comes on a hot stone plate.

There's really nothing to complain about here. The Rodizio lives up to the name steakhouse. Food excellent, good portions too. Upscale amenities, but also upscale prices.

A top address in the steakhouse sector. Here you get the very best quality meat. The service is also absolutely exemplary. I can't remember the last time I had such good food and excellent service. The price-performance ratio is absolutely justified here. High society from business, politics and sport also meet here. And rightly so. Keep it up. Until the days and happiness come up

Everybody seemed rather happy with their dishes (meat, seafood). Most likely not the typical place to go to for vegetarian or vegan people. However, combining a few side dishes makes a complete and delicious dinner. The salads are very simple and leave room for improvement. Nice atmosphere, restaurant sufficiently staffed.

I wasn't served for almost half an hour even though it was relatively empty. I then left. Unfortunately it's not a lie and I think it's a shame. I was just forgotten.

Unfortunately I only have to give it 2 stars because we didn't come to eat. After the reception we had to wait over 15 minutes for a waiter to take our drinks. Several waiters were present and yet we were not served. We left the restaurant shortly afterwards. I would be happy to give the restaurant a second chance in the future. Addendum to the owner: But that happened in your restaurant. We were seated and given tickets. After about 15 no waiter contacted us or anything like that. Even guests who arrived after us were served beforehand. And don't tell us that we're younger just because you can't handle criticism. Now the store definitely doesn't deserve a second chance

We celebrated our daughter's wedding there on June 1st, 2024. The food was first class, but what I was most pleased with was the service. I have rarely experienced such courteous service. Always there, but never intrusive. We felt like very special guests and we would love to come back.
