Maredo in Dortmund

We had a really great evening there, the food and the service, thanks to Steffi, were outstanding. Thanks to the entire team, you gave our son a really great birthday. If we were nearby, we would definitely stop by more often.

Mr. Ramiz is a very attentive service employee who not only welcomes us warmly but also seems to literally read our every wish from our lips. He is one of the reasons why we feel so comfortable at Maredo in Dortmund and why we keep coming back.

The Madero really convinced us! The steaks were of the best quality And cooked to perfection. What made this meal memorable was the service. Our waitress Nesrin particularly impressed us with her friendly and professional manner.😄 I can only recommend Madero to anyone looking for a first-class steakhouse. Everything is just right here! This was definitely not the last visit!

So Maredo is familiar with the beef product and that's what you can expect. It was to the point and tasty, everything was very good as expected. But here again a thank you to the service, very attentive and friendly. The ambience alone is just so-so. But this is not unknown either and does not reduce the overall result. So we will definitely come back when the time comes.

We went to Maredo for the first time today and I was completely satisfied. Particularly noteworthy is the employee Ramiz, who made the evening a real experience with his quick and extremely friendly service. Anytime again 👍🏻👌🏻

Unfortunately the rump steak didn't have the desired cooking point. Then the steak was riddled with semen, which of course was a shame for the enjoyment of the steak.

My hope was that something had changed for the better at the “fast food chain” Maredo. The service was really very attentive and friendly (5/5), the food was generally ok (3/5l but the atmosphere is terribly uncomfortable. Like in a cheap 2* hotel 🫣.

Spontaneously stopped by Maredo on Friday evening before the BVB game. We were quickly assigned a table and handed over the menu and asked about the drinks. NESRIN has the service gene - the steaks were brought with side dishes as requested and she asked if everything was OK. Friendly employees like NESRIN turn customers into satisfied guests!

I was there with my parents a few days ago. I haven't eaten so well in a long time. The steak was incredibly tender and incredibly tasty. I haven't been to a restaurant with such good service in a long time. Ramiz is great and really made our visit an experience, including the good food. Thanks alot!

Steak Tasting! We went to the steak tasting today. The food was super delicious! The service was outstanding! A variety of different steaks and side dishes were served. Today we visited Dortmund. We really enjoyed a visit to Maredo on Balkan Street. Delicious food, steak top, salad top. But the friendly service Ramiz is particularly noteworthy. As a starter I had a carpaccio, but it was frozen on the inside. After I indicated this, it was neatly resolved and this was an excellent carpaccio However, the main course was already brought to the table while we were still working on the starter. As a main course, all 3 of us had a different type of steak and it was very tasty. The quality of the food was fine/good, but the way of serving was a bit strange

We like coming here because we appreciate Ramiz's attentive service. He is always in a good mood and attentive without being intrusive. The dishes we have ordered so far have tasted good, and any intolerances have been taken into account. The ambience is rather cool and old-fashioned, but the service is all the more welcoming. In summer it's also nice to sit outside.

Maredo is my go-to spot when you’re craving a good steak in Dortmund! The vibe is relaxed and welcoming, making it a great place to unwind over a hearty meal. The steaks are always cooked just right, and the sides really hit the spot. I’ve never been disappointed, though it can get a little busy at times, so the service might slow down. That said, the friendly staff makes up for it. It’s a bit on the pricier side, but totally worth it when you want to treat yourself!

Mr. Romiz…our waiter was simply unbeatable. ☺️ So much friendliness, service etc. is extremely rare and we really enjoyed our visit. Great and keep it up…👏 Unfortunately, my beloved pepper sauce with the steak and the sour cream with the potato were replaced with only 4 stars because it was always special for you. Otherwise, as always, very tasty...

There were six of us there with friends. The sirloin steak was very tasty, the salad bar was fresh and tasty, but you can only help yourself once - you have to pay extra for second helpings. The woman named Nesrin was friendly and attentive.

C'est un équivalent de Buffalo Grill ou toute autre chaîne de grillades / steakhouse. Mais pour un tel restaurant, la viande n'était pas d'une qualité irréprochable (un peu dure bien que marinée). Le tout était bien trop salé et les accompagnements quelconques. Et le prix demandé est un peu excessif (pour moins cher c'était 1 point de plus dans la note). Donc on peut y aller mais sans prétention. Pour le reste, le service était agréable et la salle propre, quoi que le mobilier un peu daté (ambiance années 2000). Et il est en plein centre ville, donc facilement accessible à pied.

I've eaten here a few times and have been served by the waiter Ramiz several times. He is a truly excellent waiter and remembers details like how I only want a lemon in my glass and no ice cubes. Plus, I never had any problems with my orders. I always enjoy coming here.

This is a restaurant I often go to. The staff are friendly and the food is delicious. However, today I had a slightly uncomfortable experience. The male staff member was friendly and guided me, and I enjoyed the recommended menu. The problem came when I was paying. I waited for more than 20 minutes to sit down and pay, but the staff member never came. As my reservation time approached, I had to go to the checkout counter myself. When I asked to pay at the checkout counter, one staff member seemed to apologize and told me to wait three times. I waited at the checkout counter for 5 minutes. I was upset because I had to wait about 30 minutes. Then, when the staff member came to pay, he showed me the receipt and asked if I wanted to tip more, and I was already upset, so I paid without pressing the tip button. When I didn't press the tip button, the staff member let out a small sigh. The food was delicious, but I was upset all day. I don't usually write reviews for restaurants, but I wanted to tell you what happened today. If the restaurant manager reads this review, he would tell them to hire more staff during peak hours so that something like this doesn't happen again. I can't help but think that it was because one staff member was working alone, but I couldn't help but be extremely disappointed by what happened at the restaurant I always go to when I want to eat steak.

As always, the steak was very tasty and the salad buffet was excellent. There really is something for every taste. Even grilled peppers and other vegetables that would otherwise have to be ordered separately as an appetizer. The service was prompt, the food was on the table quickly. Like her best friends, our waitress Nesrin even brought us a skewer of roasted marshmallows for our seven-year-old (on the house). Thank you very much, we'll be happy to come back the next time we go to the Westfalenstadion.

The food at Maredo Dortmund is first class. For us as regular guests, the concept is exactly right. We are particularly impressed by the first-class service Nesrin. She is always present and serves us with never-ending patience and courtesy. Highly recommended!

On my husband's birthday we spontaneously ended up at Maredo. The welcome was super warm, our waiter Ramiz was simply fantastic! We had a delicious meal, there was a drink for my husband as a birthday present and the service overall was great. We felt very comfortable and will eat there again!

It's rare these days to have a meal out where everything is just right. Especially as a severe allergy sufferer, it's difficult to find something suitable when you're out and about, so I tried the Maredo Steakhouse again with my mother after years. Our service person, Ramiz, was really great. Friendly, courteous and quick. On top of that, the food was really good too. A 250g sirloin steak, grilled to perfection, and perfect steakhouse fries. All in all, we left the restaurant completely happy and full, with just ~35€ in our wallets for 2 people less. We'd love to come back!

Worst restaurant in Dortmund, ordered 2 beers from waitress, no beers arrived. Another waitress took our order of 2 beers, 2 garlic bread starters and 2 main meals. 20 mins later our beers arrived and still no starters. After 45 mins our main meals arrived with no sign of starters. My meal was stone cold and I took it back to the kitchen and walked out.

The quality of the food was excellent. The staff was courteous and helpful. The ambience in the restaurant is rather functional.

I visit the restaurant regularly and am very satisfied. The selection in the salad bar is very diverse and very tasty. A fresh and healthy option, especially for lunch. I can highly recommend the rib eye steak. Tip: Order whiskey and drizzle it over the meat. Pure enjoyment! The staff on site are always very friendly and accommodating. My special thanks go to Ramiz and Nesrim. It's always pleasant when they're in the restaurant. Best service: 6 stars. And also 6 stars for Hussein and Ibo. Both are unbeatably good in the kitchen/grill!

The fries were tasty and crispy but there was easily half a kilo of sauce on the burger. As a result, it was completely muddy. Wouldn't order it again.

I ordered 2 chicken burgers that were as big as a bread roll and they were cold!!! They were supposed to cost 14.60 euros each, I've never experienced that before!!!!

Prices excluding VAT are stated in the menu. Absolute no go!!!

We ate here on our wedding anniversary and were treated like royalty. Our waiter (sorry I forgot his name but it starts with R) was so friendly and accommodating. Even though the food was really delicious and we even got drinks on the house, we will remember our visit to this restaurant primarily because of the service. Every restaurant needs such an outstanding employee! All in all a great experience and a recommended restaurant

Food was tasty but for the price you would be better off going elsewhere €2.00 for herb butter😱 Furthermore, there were hardly any people present and you could constantly see the staff smoking outside on the terrace. We won't come again.

Today we went to our favorite restaurant in DO again. We like to eat the salads and are usually surprised by the ramis for the main course. Today again a great meal and fantastic service. It was our dog's birthday today and Ramis took great care of him even though he is actually afraid of dogs. The combination of good food, good atmosphere and a ramis is actually priceless. I was at Maredo Dortmund today with my wife and our dog. Dog was no problem at all. Our waiter was Ramiz, rarely met such a friendly and courteous person! He even helped when I asked for a cigarette 😃 Food (2x rump steak) with various side dishes was very good, dessert cheesecake and creme brulee extremely tasty! Many thanks to Ramiz and the whole team for this great evening!
