First of all, I have to say that the steak was simply outstanding - perfectly fried, buttery tender and a delight in terms of taste. The restaurant really impressed me with its attractive interior. The service was friendly and engaging, and I'm sure a little more humor and charm would have made us order more. I will definitely come back and highly recommend this restaurant!

We were at MASH Hamburg yesterday and were absolutely thrilled! From start to finish it was a perfect experience. The starters – the Tuna Tartare and the Wagyu Toast – were a taste experience in a class of their own. We then decided to do the MASH World Tour and it was an absolute hit. The quality of the meat, the preparation and the presentation were simply excellent. However, we would like to give special praise to the young man who served us so professionally, attentively and kindly throughout the evening. His service made the evening even more memorable. Thank you for this great experience – we will definitely be back!

The menus are very good, the price is affordable. The meat flavour was very good. One of the most successful places in Hamburg 😍😍😍

Food was good and tasty for the price.

The reception was very disappointing as we were not noticed. Only after we were told that we would like to be accompanied to the table was we told that he would be there shortly and the drinks were made ready, which showed that the priority was not ours. After telling us again that we would like to go to our table, he brought us to our table. We ordered a bottle of wine. He didn't let us taste the wine. The starter was very tasty. Then came our main course, the steak, but without our side dish, which came later. This doesn't work if the steak has already been sliced. The atmosphere wasn't Christmassy either. No music or anything. Finally, the hammer came at all. We were charged for things incorrectly. For example, fries were ordered but didn't come, but they were still on the bill, we were charged for the wrong wine, and we were also charged for drinks from the neighboring table. I expect from this restaurant that the waiter checks this independently. It wasn't crowded and therefore no stress for the waiter. Sorry, with an invoice of €400 you can expect 100% service.

We ordered Danish and American ribeyes, both were cooked perfectly. And we had MASH Tartare as an appetizer, which is also delicious. The cocktail is also good. All in all, this is a great fine dining experience☺️

Beautiful interior. Friendly service. Delicious steaks. The price tag is expensive. I don’t know why, but they brought me carpaccio and steak at the same time, a very strange decision.

Disappointing when the food is served and there is no longer an opportunity to complain to the waiter about the cold Bernaise sauce and the worst, stringy dry-aged steak (the dog didn't care) or to order another drink. Inquiries to the guest - none! The bill came promptly after the third request. We'd rather eat a good steak somewhere else.

Incredibly delicious Australian tomahawk steak, it melted in the mouth!!!! We sat in the back in the separate room and were treated excellently!!!! *Update:* After almost two years I'm back here - and the restaurant has improved again. The steaks are still excellent, tender as butter and cooked to perfection. I was particularly impressed by the Uruguayan Tenderlion. The revamped menu features great new additions such as the Wagyu Toast starter and an expanded offering of A5 Japanese Wagyu. The sides are also excellent – ​​the chili fries and truffle mac and cheese were great. As always, the service was friendly and attentive. A restaurant that remains at the highest level in terms of both quality and ambience.

One of the best restaurants I have been lately. Is it a Micheline star restaurant? Definitely not. But it's a great steakhouse. I would however like a bigger variety on the different cuts. No tbone, no sirloin, no flank steak. Just ribeye and one NYStrip. But cooked to perfection. The dry aged ribeye was smooth, and the regular ribeye was buttery soft. The side dishes left me untouched, but I come from a Mediterranean county so I am used in different side dishes and preparations. The service was fast and friendly. Atmosphere was really nice. Would definitely recommend.

The staff is courteous but not intrusive. However, I deduct one point for the waiting time at the cloakroom directly at the entrance area, which is unfortunately too small. The meat was on point. We had the Mash around the World pan. We liked the slightly smoky and aromatic Danish meat best. However, I deduct one point for the supplements. At a restaurant with upscale prices, the Cesar salad shouldn't taste like it was drowned in bland sauce. All in all, it was a culinary delight in a very attractively decorated steak restaurant.

Booked spontaneously during a weekend trip in HH. Food 10 out of 5 stars, service 10 out of 5 stars. Overall package 20 out of 5 stars. One of the best restaurants we have ever visited. Big praise to the entire team. We'll be back

Unfortunately it started with an unpleasant reception experience, hence only the 4 stars, we had two burgers with fries - yes, just under €50 per person but really enough and tasty! The wine list is very large, unfortunately unkempt, several of the requested wines were not available and were not marked as such. Overall, I think there are better steakhouses in Hamburg.

Went to the store very spontaneously today and luckily got a spot. Were served by Jenny and I have to say, I would always wish for such service. The food and general atmosphere in the store is first class. I will definitely dine here again on my next visit to Hamburg.

The food (Steaks Tenderloin Uruguay & Rib Eye Danish) were top. Tender, perfectly grilled, great taste. Hard to do better. Fries are good, tomato salad didn't convince me - carelessly prepared and the taste was so-so. The ambience is very nice, the restaurant is well decorated and of high quality. Very cozy. Why only 3 stars? The restaurant was busy on Christmas Day - not full, but there was enough staff there. However, this did not contribute to a very cozy atmosphere. Lots of small & big mistakes when serving, when explaining the menu in an unfriendly manner, “did you understand me” was a rude way of saying it. The evening for 6 people was okay with a price tag of over €500 and appropriate for the quality of meat, but the staff for such a place almost stops me from visiting it again. Maybe we’ll test this again on a “normal” weekday.

We chose a special restaurant for Christmas. The restaurant made a very nice impression as soon as you entered. In the entrance area there was a counter with a coat rack. A couple in front of us was dropping off their jackets. An employee took their jackets. When it was our turn, no one felt the need to offer to take our jackets off. When we asked, the jacket was kindly taken away from us. We were taken to the table. The table was very nice and we sat in a corner for ourselves. The waiter appeared a short time later and brought us the cards. He seemed likeable. The process between the courses was a bit lengthy, but still completely acceptable. At the end, each of the guests at the tables next to us was offered a nightcap by the waiter. Not us. When we asked about getting jackets, we were told that it varies from waiter to waiter. I replied that it was always the same waiter and whether it would depend on the amount of the bill which guest was offered something like that. This was denied. At no point was it about us necessarily wanting the nightcap, but very much about the principle. When you leave such a large amount of money there, we expect equality. It's a shame, it could have been a good evening. Now we have a very stupid feeling. However, the food was very tasty and there was nothing to complain about.

We were at the Steakhouse Mash on December 23rd, 2024. At the reception it took almost 3 minutes for anyone to even use the reception. When we sat there, we felt this special ambience like something out of a movie. It was a nice unknown but interesting atmosphere. For dinner there was the beef tartare as a starter, which was really delicious, and the main course was the American rib eye. In general the quality was very good! But at the end when you pay the bill you ask yourself whether you couldn't get such a piece of meat cheaper at another steak restaurant. Nevertheless, the MASH is worth an experience and I think you can definitely visit it once. After that, everyone can decide for themselves whether it will be their favorite restaurant or not. We thank you for the nice evening!

The ambience of the restaurant is appealing and the location overall is beautifully designed. When it came to eating, however, the impression remained mixed: the steak was good, but it quickly got cold before you could enjoy it in peace. Unfortunately, the fries weren't convincing, and the starter was okay, but nothing special. The service did not meet the expectations one might have at these prices. It was noticeable that there was a lack of staff, which had a negative impact on the attention and quality of the service. For a restaurant in this price range, I would have liked more quality and a better overall impression. MASH is okay, but not the outstanding Hamburg steakhouse you might expect.

Overall the steaks were good and we enjoy our time there since we believe we create our own great atmosphere but this is definitely a place you only go once.

We're giving it four stars out of pure politeness, even though our overall experience wasn't convincing. The ambience was fine, nothing wrong with that. However, as the restaurant became more and more crowded, the staff became more and more hectic, and the tense mood among the employees was clearly noticeable - including semi-arguments while setting the table. Even though there is obviously a lot going on on Saturday evening, we as guests still expect peace and quiet and a relaxed atmosphere. The food was ok, but not outstanding - we have eaten better in other restaurants. We ended up skipping dessert. All in all, it wasn't a completely successful experience, and four stars are very generous.

The MASH Steakhouse in Hamburg is really a great address for steak lovers - the quality of the meat is simply top, it couldn't be better. However, there is still some room for improvement when it comes to service. Little things like coasters being placed next to the glasses instead of underneath or an error in the order didn't have to happen. Nevertheless, the team was friendly and tried hard, which is noticeable. With a little more attention the service would be just as top notch as the food. I'll be happy to come back and hope that these little things go better next time!

We were there in a larger group. Seldom felt so unwelcome, waited hours for the food, overwhelmed, arrogant and poor service, as a guest you were sometimes ignored, when you spoke to the service you sometimes got mushy answers, but the food was very tasty.

Food top. When the food is served, there is only one waiter who brings everything. Unfortunately our steak was at the table for 5 minutes without any side dishes. 4 waiters clearing up? Steaks grilled to perfection. Side dishes overpriced. Everything has to be ordered separately. With a steak price of almost €80, this is questionable. Nice ambience.

The ambience is breathtaking in a cozy atmosphere. The food is really good but also very expensive. The bar offers almost every cocktail and spirits you could wish for. The condition is very friendly. Unfortunately, drinks were repeatedly swapped at our table with other people.

I'm sitting in a really fancy steakhouse right now - everything here is so stylish and sophisticated that even the napkins probably have a better resume than me. The atmosphere is incredible - a perfect mix of cozy ambience and modern luxury that almost makes you feel like you're in a movie (except without the cameras). The food? Absolutely heavenly! The steaks were cooked so perfectly that I briefly considered whether I should give the chef a round of applause. Juicy, aromatic, simply a pleasure - you can really taste the quality here. Admittedly, it's not cheap, but you're happy to invest in yourself for such an experience and these taste explosions!

We had the Mash World Tour. They were three fantastic pieces of meat! I have never eaten such a tasty and tender piece of meat. The service was excellent. We immediately got a table of our choice. The waiter Nico was first class. Very accommodating and friendly! We will definitely come back!🥩🤍

A wonderful steakhouse that I can only recommend. The food came to the table organized and quickly. The quality was top and the wine also matched the steak. The wine selection is huge and I will definitely be there again.

Were there as a small company party. We stood at reception for 5 minutes until someone deigned to greet us. It was completely empty at the start so I expect good service for the price category. Unfortunately this lasted the whole evening, there was no love when serving and you didn't feel like a guest but rather like a foreign body. The food and ambience, however, are absolutely worth the price. But would I go again? It's questionable, I can cook myself, it's about the overall package and that's still good, but there's a lack of warm service

Das war ein Griff in die Tonne! Preis / Leistung passen null….service mittelmäßig! Hatte ein Rib eye on the bone für € 79 was einer Katastrophe gleichkam und die Beilagen sind ebenfalls nicht erwähnenswert. Unterirdisch war die wässrige Pfeffersauce oder die winzige Portion Kräuterbutter! Also ganz klar nicht wieder….da gibt es im Bereich “Steaks” wirklich gute Alternativen.

Very classy establishment. The service was courteous and the food was first class. The ribeye was beautifully cooked to perfection, had a strong flavor and was incredibly tender. The side dishes, especially the spinach, complemented the steak excellently. The Wagyu Toast was different from my expectations and was unfortunately a bit of a disappointment. The essence of Wagyu was somewhat lost due to the pulled pork style. The homemade bread, however, was convincing. Overall, it was a very successful evening, which was rounded off by the excellent service and the excellent food.

At this point I would give twice as many stars! I've eaten quite good to very good steaks. But not in such a beautiful setting! The interior design is a beautiful mix of dignified and modern. Lots of mirrors, lots of cognac colors, extremely comfortable seating, lots of leather. The service is excellent. Very attentive without being intrusive. Very sweet! The different types of steak and meat are explained. There are fine sauces and the starters in particular are imaginative and super tasty. The quality of the meat is just as excellent as the overall mash package. A very pleasant and lovely restaurant experience!

Den Hype um das Restaurant kann ich nicht nachvollziehen. Der Service schlecht. Auf Getränke 45 Min warten, das Essen überteuert und teilweise lauwarm am Tisch. Kann ich nicht empfehlen

Das Essen war gut, aber leider wirklich nur gut. Der Service unterirdisch, da meiner Meinung nach nur besetzt durch Aushilfen. Wartezeiten zwischen den Gängen ca 1 Stunde und bei leeren Getränken war Niemand aufmerksam um mal nachzufragen ob noch was gewünscht ist.

Habíamos pedido una mesa para 4 pers. a las 19 : 30 ! Nos aconsejaron sentarse en el bar donde esperamos 45 minutos! ¡Por fin tenemos una mesa! Esperó 45 minutos. para nuestros entrantes después de haber pedido al camarero nuestros entrantes. Después de haber recibido el plato principal, llegamos a la conclusión de que la carne era rara y no media como se pedía. Además, no hubo diferencia en un lomo de 200 y 300 gramos. La salsa estaba fría y a petición, recibimos una nueva salsa después de esperar 10 mm. donde el tazón de salsa estaba caliente, pero la salsa estaba fría... de nuevo, dando como resultado una comida fría general. ¡El salat de tomate y el brócoli no sabían a nada! Por suerte, nos compensaron, pero todavía no era satisfactorio de ninguna manera!

Hello, I ate a tomahawk steak here on September 18th, 2024 and was very dissatisfied with the quality of the food. With supplements I paid €250. That was a bad deal. No risk of repetition!

Sat for 40 minutes without anyone coming. Then they left.

We went to MASH in Hamburg on November 7th 2024 around 2000. Not a lot of people there and we got seated right away but then nothing happened. After about 30 minutes we caught the attention of a waiter and informed her that were were ready to order both food and wine. After giving her our choice of wine she took off, much to our bewilderment, and we were back to the waiting game. After waiting another 15 minutes or so we flagged down another waiter and were finally able to get our order in. They didn't seem particularly busy, just incompetent. Not what we expected for an establishment in this price range.

Definitely worth a visit! Hamburg's best steak, paired with a great, quiet ambience and very good service. The quality of the meat was outstanding and the steak was on point. The side dishes were also delicious, although the quantity (for the price) was a bit small for my taste. When we got the wrong kind of ice cream for dessert (they looked very similar in color) and asked the waitress about it, she apologized a thousand times and immediately brought us the right kind of ice cream. Despite corrections, the ice cream was ultimately not even charged for. That's what I call service! Clear recommendation!

Today, after a long time, I remembered a promise that I made to the very courteous waiter. I was there with my girlfriend and God knows we weren't dressed appropriately, she with ripped pants and both of us with rain jackets pulled down over our faces. What I only realized later is that this is a high priced restaurant but it definitely lives up to its price. My recommendation for a visit is at least the fine shirt, despite our slovenly demeanor we were well looked after. I can only recommend the place and have decided to come back here for my next stay in Hamburg. But this time with a matching outfit.

The steaks were really tasty, just not the fries. They were soft and limp. I found the atmosphere very pleasant and sometimes impressive. Only the service didn't quite keep up for us. We (2 adults, 2 children) had reserved a table. We had to wait at the entrance counter and were ignored for what felt like 5 minutes. Maybe it's just me, but I can't stand things like that at all. The order was then taken briefly and succinctly at the table. We later discovered that the meat selection was presented to other guests in detail without explicitly asking. We would have liked it too. Furthermore, we had three different service staff at the table, one of whom I had a hard time understanding and who were quite difficult to get available, especially at the end of the evening. Basically not a big problem, but not so nice in combination. Overall, I admit - it's a high level of complaining, but considering what's expected, it's unnecessary.

Very tasty and professional service on top of that. We were there on a Friday evening and the restaurant wasn't very busy. It is strange that there was no longer a bottle of wine that was on the menu. One would think that weekend business has been taken care of. The more expensive version was of course in stock ;-)

I've never had a better tenderloin! You can't beat it when it comes to tenderness and perfect taste! The ambience, the service, the side dishes with the steaks, the wine recommendation - everything was perfect! Cool place for a meat eating experience with friends. It could also be a fun date place. The service was really good and the streaks we shared at the table were top notch. Skip the tomahawk and go straight for the 90+ day ages ribeye or American bone in ribeye instead. The tenderloin is also very tasty, especially with the pepper sauce.

We went to Mash for the first time today and were totally thrilled. I've never eaten meat as tender as this. The food is incredibly tasty and of the best quality. The service is friendly and quick. The small negative point are the women's toilets. There was a lot of toilet paper on the floor here.

Given the location and the ambience, you would expect a lot more in terms of food and service. Service staff seemed in a bad mood and not really well trained. You constantly had other people serving you and when you were served after a long wait, everything took quite a long time. Wine service was terrible. I was quite disappointed with the meat...the taste was nothing to say and the degree of doneness was also rather lacking. Everything was slapped down relatively carelessly. A cold espresso rounded off the whole experience... My conclusion: great location! If it can really hold a candle to a typical New York steakhouse from a purely visual perspective... then unfortunately that's where it ends! You can get your steak from the Greek restaurant around the corner...
