Rindock‘s in Hamburg

The food wasn't bad, and the service staff was very friendly. However, I was quite shocked by the amount of trash behind the building (clearly visible because there used to be parking spaces there). That's not for me and will prevent me from visiting the restaurant again.

Good restaurant with delicious food (especially the steaks). The lamb fillets were a bit drowned in a peppery cream sauce, but overall a positive culinary experience.

Unfortunately, despite having a reservation, we didn't get a table and waited for over half an hour before we finally left, which was a real shame because this restaurant had never disappointed me before.

We were at Rindocks Bergedorf – it was our first visit there. The spritzer was super delicious. We had a turkey schnitzel and a fillet steak. The turkey schnitzel was delicious, and the fillet steak was cooked to perfection, medium-rare. I was really impressed by the meat – especially because individual gram requests are always taken into account. Unlike the big steakhouse chain! The service and the vanilla ice cream with raspberries were also completely convincing. The only thing I wish was a bit bigger – I haven't enjoyed such delicious ice cream with raspberries in a long time.

Simply fantastic! 👏 The waiters are always super friendly and attentive, no matter how busy the restaurant is. The food always tastes excellent, whether you come for lunch or dinner – the quality is consistently high. 🥩 The value for money is absolutely spot on; you really get your money's worth here. It's always worth coming here – you feel welcome, receive excellent service, and leave satisfied every time. A clear recommendation – we're always happy to come back! 🙌

Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience working at this restaurant. Despite my honest and reliable work, I was not paid my full wages. I tried several times to contact those responsible and find a fair solution – but to no avail. It is absolutely unacceptable for a company to treat its employees this way and not pay them the agreed wages. This behavior shows a lack of respect for its employees and, in my opinion, is a clear sign of unprofessionalism and unreliability. I can only strongly advise against working here or engaging in any collaboration.

It's ok, the food tastes good, it's fresh and well prepared. PRICE FOR PERFORMANCE 5 stars. The toilet one flight up deserves a cleaning lady, the walls and doors are really dirty. The bowls and sinks were clean though. OK, I'm fussy but when I close a toilet door it would be nice if there were no dirt on the inside. Completing a few small repairs here and there would also be ideal. Loose cables hanging around somewhere or holes in the walls isn't so nice. Service is there but absolutely unobtrusive. Lunch is highly recommended. It's housed in the old Lohbrügger Schützenhof, the building is a listed building. But the entrance and the stairs are crying out for help. They should invest more in the building and keep it in good condition. It deserves it. The beer garden and the disabled entrance are great.

The food was delicious and plentiful. However, the baked potatoes were relatively cold. I ordered three appetizers and only received two. I ordered one rump steak and one ribeye, and I received two rump steaks. Service was rather slow. Orders for further drinks were usually only made on our own initiative. The bill was also apparently forgotten (although there were hardly any guests at the time), requiring further notice. The small backyard was very neglected and full of trash. An employee threw an empty bucket out of the back door onto their front yard as we walked to the car. Not a pretty sight. Everything on the terrace also seemed rather worn.

The place needs a bit of sprucing up. Unfortunately, it's starting to show its age. But the food is excellent. The portions are huge. If you're a light eater, ask for a packed lunch or share portions with someone so you can still have dessert. And the staff is very friendly.

Good food, good service, "boss" service a bit odd...we wanted to take my wife's leftovers...we were told there was a law against it...I've never heard of that before...the lady feels a bit important...the first waiter, when clearing away, said it was no problem and he would pack it up...then the aunt came and started...unfortunately, it ended up being a bit unpleasant...

I can definitely recommend this place. The food was delicious. The service was friendly. Large portions. You'll definitely be full. The price is perfectly reasonable. We'll definitely be back again. It was a bit small and cramped inside, I think, and there were a lot of large groups there that day. They could have perhaps made it a bit more crowded by utilizing the space upstairs.

When ordering, we asked what degree of doneness we wanted the steaks served. Without further ado, we were served swapped plates, and we had to determine whether it was medium or well done by cutting into it.

The food was okay. The ambiance was also fine. However, the service was absolutely NOT okay. Very unfriendly. When ordering, he always gets an annoying "mhm" sound, and when paying with a voucher, the waiter is also quite annoyed. For whatever reason. Not a friendly smile or even a hint of friendliness. I absolutely cannot recommend it.

We went there on a Wednesday to eat our fill of scampi. Unfortunately, it was very loud, even though it was only half full. We had to wait a long time for our drinks, and the second portion of scampi also took a long time to arrive. We go to Rindock's Bergedorf often and have never experienced anything like this before, and we hope it doesn't happen again.

Fast, attentive service and super delicious food!

I ordered a cream of chanterelle soup to satisfy my hunger, and it was very good. The staff was polite and very friendly. The outdoor area is covered, so you can sit outside even when it's raining.

My wife and I have been regulars for both lunch and dinner for many years. Until now, we were satisfied and would gladly return. Over the last few weeks, we've noticed a significant decline. The food was carelessly slapped onto the plate. Applesauce, despite our explicit order, was smothered in a large blob in the middle of the lukewarm fried potatoes; simply disgusting. The turkey strips on the American salad were only lukewarm. We found it particularly annoying that the kitchen staff were constantly calling each other; a quiet lunch was impossible. We actually wanted to sit on the terrace, but it was dirty with cigarette butts lying around. We'll probably look for another restaurant for now. It's a shame, really.

I can only recommend it! I was full of shrimp, they were so delicious! Unfortunately, I only managed two plates! ;) Fast service; I was maybe halfway through the first plate when the nice lady asked if I wanted the second one right after! Everything was perfect!

The restaurant was already very busy in the afternoon, but service was still quick. Plenty of shrimp, with a side salad... a dream. Hot and cooked to perfection, it couldn't be better! The staff was excellent! And it's also clear that with so many guests, you can't offer everyone a parking space—well, you'd better walk a few meters. I was there on Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. The staff was always very friendly, and I waited about 25 minutes for my food: a grilled platter with three types of meat, grilled vegetables, rosemary potatoes, and a piece of baguette with garlic butter (or something similar). The food was delicious, everything was just right, and the portion was filling. I'd love to eat here again. :)

The lunch menu changes weekly. The prices are quite reasonable for what's on offer. The dishes are consistently delicious. The goulash soup is highly recommended.

For the price you pay for a steak here, I expected a bit better food. The vegetable plate was completely overcooked, tasteless, and presented like a big pile of mush. The monster burger, for a whopping €23, was okay, but I expected more. It looked a bit "sad" on the plate. The Coke was warm. All in all, not that great. A shame.

My first visit and certainly not my last! The food was absolutely delicious, the service attentive and polite but not intrusive. I'm looking forward to the next one!

We made a reservation today to eat our fill of shrimp, thanks to Facebook. The food was inconsistent in taste, and since the shrimp were marinated in a tomato and garlic sauce, peeling them was a challenge and could only be done with a knife and fork. The sauce in the second course was more garlicky than the previous one. The number of shrimp varied depending on the course. The waitress wasn't always friendly, and we both felt very unwelcome. That was the first and last time we ate there. What a shame.

"Deceiving customers and ignoring reservations – unprofessional and disrespectful." We made a reservation for the shrimp all-you-can-eat two days in advance and received written confirmation. When we arrived on time, we were told: "They're out of shrimp." No advance notice, no alternative, no apology – instead, they just leave us standing. That's not how you treat guests. Anyone who advertises, accepts reservations, and then doesn't deliver is engaging in deception at the expense of their customers. We will definitely never return – and recommend everyone avoid this place.

The food is truly delicious, the steak cooked to perfection the way you like it. The service could be better, but it's okay for the place. The surroundings... worn-out chairs, cobwebs, and dust in various corners—no way to look past them! And then the women's restroom, amazing! You have to see it for yourself...

We've been regular customers for years, but today both the food and the service took us down a notch. My steak was very tough and hard to cut with a steak knife, let alone eat, and the baked potato inside was still raw. I told the waiter, he took the food away, came back and said that the steak and the potato were ok, but I could order something else besides beef and baked potato. I then said, I would have a turkey steak with fried potatoes, but no sauce and nothing with flour in it. After half an hour the waiter came with a plate full of fried potatoes and thickly breaded schnitzel with thick sauce on top. When I told him that wasn't possible, he said that's exactly what I ordered. That’s it for Rindocks.
