Very tasty meat dishes and a pleasant atmosphere! It has become a regular restaurant for me and my parents!

We were there in a group for the first time today. We became aware of it through TikTok and really wanted to try it out. The buffet was definitely not worth the money. The selection was far too small, the taste of the food itself was ok, potatoes were served raw, no sauces for the schnitzel. In between there were often no more plates. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Everything is a bit tight. I didn't eat much because the waiting time at the buffet was far too long, but the food still left me upset. We definitely won't come back

Very nice and attentive service. Menu very extensive. The schnitzel dishes we chose were tasty, the side salad was fresh and dressed with a delicious dressing. Here “man(s)” get their fill.

Went there for the first time today. Staff very friendly and attentive. Furnishings are more rustic than modern, but especially cozy in the back area and the tables are pleasantly far apart. Eat. Very good. Fresh and tasty and lots of it. Pepper schnitzel for 18.90 with croquettes and fresh salad. 2 medium-sized freshly beaten ones (you could hear it from the kitchen) with a loose breading. Balkan plate for 26.90 with I think 8 types of meat, fries, Djuwec rice and salad. Price performance very good.

The food, and that's what it's all about, was delicious! However, just a piece of bread with the steak is not enough! I would fry the rosemary sprig at the beginning, not just place it on the meat. We sat at the back in a hall that wasn't that comfortable and definitely too dark.

Went there with friends for the first time yesterday and were thrilled...the food was really top. But you should be very hungry because the portions are huge...we had to have a lot packed up. I was also happy that snails were on the menu again, unfortunately they are becoming increasingly rare. Conclusion: We will definitely come back👍

Good food and both large and small portions - depending on your wishes. I decided on a big crust. Small would be ok too. been... Staff is courteous and friendly. In the back room, which is apparently intended for greater responsibility, it is actually nicely furnished, but not for a cozy meal. Not that anything didn't fit, just big... Overall everything was in good order and quality.

We went to Steakhouse Alte Post based on a recommendation. Around three corners - so from the sister's cousin to his uncle's brother... or something like that. In short, we are lucky. As far as I know, the restaurant doesn't have its own parking spaces, but we saw plenty of free parking spaces in the area. The restaurant is furnished in a simple to rustic style. Not modern, not chic, but somehow “rustic and cozy”. According to the menu, home cooking, steak and Balkan dishes are served. The name Steakhouse might be a bit confusing. Yes - there is steak, but no more than in another "normal" restaurant. The menu is extensive and varied, so everyone should find something here. We had 3 schnitzels and a steak that evening. The schnitzels are fresh!! So fresh that the schnitzel beating rattled through the house :-) The prices for the dishes were just over 20 euros. But - old Swede - the plates were just big enough for the size of schnitzel that was delivered. And it’s super tasty. My steak was exactly as I wanted it and also tasted great. There was also a salad and a side dish, which further puts the price of over 20 euros for a schnitzel in perspective. With 5 people, our meal including the drinks - I think we all had 2 drinks - cost around 130 euros. So 26 euros per person. This is really a great price-performance ratio. The service was quick and very, very friendly. So we felt really comfortable and I would visit the restaurant again at any time and recommend it without reservation. Unless you want to spend a really fancy evening with TüTü. But if you just want a nice evening with great food - a clear recommendation for the Steakhouse Alte Post.

The three of us ate at the Alte Post for the second time. We were served very friendly, just like before. The boss is just super nice and accommodating. Every wish was fulfilled. We had the mushroom schnitzel, Samson plate and the sliced ​​meat with garlic sauce plus buttered vegetables. For dessert our son had pancakes with ice cream. Everything tasted excellent. We were super satisfied. What we also thought was great was that we could hear the schnitzels being freshly made in the kitchen, we could taste it. We'll definitely be back. Thank you♡☆

We ate here for the first time today. The food was just perfect, the meat was juicy and very seasoned and the side dishes were also delicious. The service was super friendly and personable. Absolutely recommended. We will come again

My son's steak was great and the portions for my wife and I were very large.

Fabulous neck and rump steaks! Affordable lunch menu (main course including starter soup and small dessert). Friendly operation and great service. Children's and seniors' plates are also available.

We have on June 1st. celebrated our wedding in a steakhouse. And actually we're at a loss for words because everything was so fantastic! The decoration, the food, the service, everything was just right! We had the best day ever and would celebrate there again at any time!

We were there at short notice in the evening - asparagus time! The asparagus was very well prepared - in my case, of course, baked with hollandaise and a little cheese and one or two schnitzels underneath. Unfortunately, this was a bad number. Very cold in the restaurant. Eating a la normal chip shop. And prices like on the “Kö”. Completely unrealistic The crowning glory were the toilets. Pure train station feeling. My daughter completely refused to go to the toilet.

Das Essen ist zwar reichlich aber mittelmäßig. Medium = Roh. Der Service ungelernt aber versucht freundlich. AMBIENTE gibt es keines. Man merkt sofort das alles alt ist und von den Vorgängern übernommen.

Meine erste Wahl. Freundliches Inhaber geführtes Lokal. Alles auf den Punkt serviert. Neue Gestaltung des Innenraums. Sieht gut aus. Ein Speiselokal zum Wohlfühlen.

Champignonrahm Soße war nicht mein Geschmack. Konsistenz wie Pudding, Schnitzel und Grillteller waren an Sich aber gut gemacht. Salatbeilage jedoch eher lieblos angerichtet. Ambiente leider sehr veraltet.Frische Farbe an die Wände und jemand der sich um die Sauberkeit im Restaurant kümmern sollte wäre mal angebracht. Service war nett. Aber eher das letzte Mal dort gewesen, gibt es deutlich schönere Restaurants in der Nähe.

Das beste Restaurant in Dortmund, Preis-Leistung stimmt zu 100% das Essen ist sehr gut und für jedermann etwas dabei. Der Service ist einmalig. Immer wieder ein Fest bei euch 👍🏾!!!

Nach langer,langer Zeit mal wieder hier. Das Essen, Steak mit Pommes, war erste Klasse. Auf den Punkt gegrillt. Lecker Pils. Das Ambiente war einfach. Wir saßen vorne in der Gaststätte, es war ziemlich voll und sehr laut. Die Lautstärke war auch der einzige zu bemängelnde Punkt.

Ich esse sehr gerne Steaks, wenn Sie perfekt zubereitet sind und am liebsten ohne alles, eventuell ein bisschen Pfeffer und Salz. Ich möchte das Fleisch schmecken und das kann man hier. Steak ist zart, hat eine dünne braune Kruste und ist innen ,wenn gewünscht zartrosa. Das tolle ist, dass kein Fleischsaft aus dem Steak austritt, wenn man es anschneidet, ich mag das nicht wenn die Pommes und der Rest in so einer Suppe schwimmen. Hier ist einfach perfekt, Steaks sind meiner Meinung nach immer größer als bestellt und zu einem adäquaten Preis. Pommes, Mayonnaise, Salat, alles lecker, nette Bedienung , hat immer noch ein nettes Wort für jeden Gast. Die Schnitzel sind sehr lecker und riesig groß, selbst die Rentnerportion ist für uns zu groß. Es gibt Hövels und das immer sehr frisch. Alles perfekt und ich freue mich auf den nächsten Besuch.

Leider waten wir dieses mal sehr enttäuscht. Wir haben 1std auf unser Essen gewartet, wir bekamen den Salat jedoch kein Besteck, wir wurden in der Zeit ca 2,5 Std nur zweimal nach Getränke n gefragt. Ich war von meinem essen enttäuscht.....

Waren heute zum 1. Mal dort. Die Bedienung war super freundlich. Essen war sehr lecker und reichlich. Das Restaurant ansich war recht "altbacken". Könnte man einiges verändern. Kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Das Essen war super lecker und reichhaltig, die Bedienung sehr nett,der Raum vollkommen angemessen.... Das einzige Manko ist gewesen, dass von und 14 die letzten beiden ihr Essen fast 25 Minuten nach den ersten (und ca 10min nach Nummer 11 und 12) bekommen haben.. Das muss man besser timen.. Wir gehen gerne wieder hin..

Freundlich und zuvorkommendes Personal. Das Ambiente ist schlicht aber trotzdem gemütlich. Das Essen ist Preiswert und die Portionen sind ausreichend um den Hunger zu stillen.

Waren am Heiligen Abend dort essen (Buffet). Das Essen war rundum Top. Die Bedienung war auch sehr freundlich und gut gelaunt. Hatte immer einen netten lockeren Spruch auf Lager. Sehr sympathisch. Wir kommen definitiv wieder. Liebe Grüße und einen guten Rutsch ins neue Jahr für das gesamte Team.

Nur zu empfehlen, wir waren mit 9 Personen am 2. Weihnachtstag in Buffetform hier Essen.
