Unfriendly staff, hygiene zero, toilet catastrophic, cash register unfriendly, not respectful

homeless folks get to enter AND harass eating customers, including myself. I'd like to eat in peace and not be guilted into buying some stranger food too while more often than not trying my hardest not to flinch at the smell (usually not folks fault but still) that sticks around since this is a closed environment. You enter and it smells like sweat and no bath for 2+ months. How can this place be considered kid friendly or such behaviour remain tolerated?

Such a bad store employee, very unfriendly. The food came cold. Definitely not recommended after 20 minutes.

In terms of food, it's a normal McDonald's. Unfortunately the toilet is extremely disgusting. And when you order here via Lieferando, something is often missing from the order. I know you can complain about it via Lieferando, but it's still annoying.

They are asking you to pay for the toilet even if you are a customer(!) ..almost the worst McD ever! Some people working here are extremely unfriendly and ignorant.. I would give them rather 0 stars.

When we received them, the fries were already cold under the fries Rock-hard potato wedges. The chicken burger buns were like rubber and they were just slapped together, the salad was more next to the bun, the chicken patty was to the point and just warmed up like it was from the day before. When I asked the branch manager about it, she became grandiose in her tone and said they would only leave if they didn't like it fits. It's sad that McDonald's used to be very good, but unfortunately it's no longer recommended

Not services fault, I order through the app and system gave me order number 168. I was looking at the screen in a table far away in the corner for 15 minutes and my order number was never there, every minute from the beginning I thought my order number was gonna show up somehow ( some order numbers that werent showed as “being prepared” were suddenly showned in the “ready” side) Apparently my order was ready for a long time and I was waiting like an idiot and my food got cold, and I am too tired and is too late for me to ask for warm food. Sad. If it was service fault, that’s too cliche in mc donalds, I am guessing the number didn’t appear on the screen cause a system error what so ever.

Really nice staff, great service and delicious food! And I think it's completely okay that you have to pay €1 for the toilet! You will receive a voucher that you can have offset at the checkout and you will find toilets in a decent condition 👍🏻

I'm really disappointed in you, especially in this branch. I also have very positive experiences with McDonald's in general. After waiting 20 minutes for my order here at Hermannplatz... now this... (not a nice place to wait for the food) You forgot the apple bags I paid for even though I asked twice... I didn't get a drink either. I have a really big fax and will definitely never enter this store again... I hope that in time you will get a quality check from McDonalds... the conditions in this particular branch are definitely damaging to the reputation of the entire group. I've been there once so far to grab something to eat shortly before the concert nearby. My companion ate something, I didn't. As soon as I walked in, everything was gone. Unfortunately, at some point I had to go to the toilet. I thought, they couldn't be much worse. Well, I think so. So I'll put it this way. It's been 8 years since my visit there, but I still get a rash every time I think about it.

The size of the big Mac and mc chicken it was extremely small! Have never seen such thing! Also, one of my chips were missing, as I had a take away I didn’t noticed at the moment, I was not willing to drive 10min back for chips, very disappointing and frustrating, I don’t recommend this franchise.

I forgot to pick up my number ticket after ordering from the machine and was confused by the two Asian female staff at the front desk who spoke unclear German and English. When I finally realized that I needed to get a number ticket, they began to guess my nationality and laugh at me. After I got my ticket they asked me arrogantly where I came from. I don't think this question is any of your business or even about picking up a meal, but I still answered as a courtesy. Not surprisingly, there was another sneer. It's ridiculous that there is racism in this world, and I don't judge people because of their nationality, but if these two women experience racism, I congratulate you two, you deserve it.💚🤌🏽

This McDonald's is very clean, very well located, right next to the subway, but the orders don't go fast enough and you have to wait longer than usual for your order, the food is good, there is a lot of everything

The staff is very unfriendly. The table symbol was snatched out of my hand when I wanted to enter the number in the terminal, with the explanation that there was no more table service. When I went to pick up the food at the counter, I wasn't noticed at all. 3 employees stood in front of me and no one turned to me. The food and atmoshpere are good, too bad the service is absurdly slow, especially for a fast-food. It took me over 15 minutes for 9 nuggets and a big french fries portion. There were people ordering after me but getting their order first. The food isn't so fast. Edit: I got home with my food only to see that half my french fries were missing and that my Nuggets were plant McNuggets, not real meat

Staff catastrophic! Unfriendly, arrogant, pure disinterest, etc. People nod at every question, but they were not understood. The manager looks like a UFC fighter who immediately makes a provocative face when asked any questions. No please very thank you very much goodbye right dry communication. But in the background the mail goes on. Instead of processing the orders, people talk and exchange jokes and experiences. Order from Wolt and you'll get ice-cold frass for a lot of money. Wolt will refund you the €2 tip. McDonald's refuses to be responsible for cold and expensive food. Never again

The employees deserve 5* because they still go to work there every day with the clientele. It's super hot on site but orders are great! Everything that is ordered is delivered and packaged in such a way that the food usually arrives warm/lukewarm. The bags are sealed so that the drivers cannot fish anything out. There's even a person who sweetly labels orders with flourishes. Thanks, people. You are awesome.

Probably affects all McDonald's branches, but I ate here at Hermannplatz: to charge almost 5 euros for a medium portion of bad, wobbly French fries, which aren't many French fries, with mayonnaise and ketchup, is simply outrageous.

The last 5 times the fries were A...cold!! And twice the cheeseburger smelled really rotten, so I only took two bites and put it away! The quality has deteriorated VERY much! If this continues, I won't come anymore! A few months later: Things have gotten a little better again. Mostly. I go about twice a month. And the people who work there are almost all really nice.🙃

I'm not a fan of fast food in general, so my opinion may be a bit biased. So, the food is the same as in any other store, if you like it, you like it. Whoever doesn't, doesn't. Service was very nice, but also very stressed due to the busyness. They had forgotten something in our case, which wasn't a big deal since everyone makes mistakes sometimes. A gentleman was sitting there...He addressed every guest around him with stupid words...Staff then called the police for information before he was almost thrown out by some of the guests... (Several times shortly before) Before the police arrived, another gentleman came in with no money and stole my food...I received a new meal from the store...What's going on?! MC Donalds at Hermannplatz is not recommended. When we were there, a disturbed man came in and kept slamming his beer bottle on the table until it shattered and then got up with it. It was scary and we immediately notified the staff and went to the completely different one We went towards the restaurant and were happy when we got out. It was around 9 p.m. on Saturday. Please don't go there with children under any circumstances, sorry, it's just better and it's no longer okay for us

Bad very bad!!!!!! The lady at the checkout scans my food from my cell phone, she says it doesn't work and then she presses another menu, gives me something I don't want and after 10 seconds she says the food is ready, unfortunately she can't cancel. I have not had a worse experience at McDonald's in my life. Usually you go there because you know what you will get. Not here. Even simple cheeseburger misses all the ingredients except for the dry meat and dry, cold cheese. The service is slower than you could imagine. I would give 0 stars if that would be possible, this place should be shut down.

German laws are ignored here. Even though you eat there, you have to pay 1 euro for the toilet. What an outrage that is incompatible with German law. EDIT nach erhalt untenstehender Antwort: tja, wenn denn mit dem Gutschein so wäre, dann hätte ich ja Verständnis dafür. Aber eben diesen Gutschein gibt es laut zweier unterschiedlicher Mitarbeiter, die ich in Begleitung einer Zeugin einmal vor und einmal nach dem Essen genau danach gefragt habe im Restaurant nicht.

Leider habe ich erneut einen Fehler gemacht und etwas bei McDonalds bestellt. Vermutlich zu Naiv gewesen das es in anderen Filialen anders läuft aber leider bekommt man auch dort nicht alles was man bestellt. Ein kleine Bestellung und am Ende fehlt das Happy Meal. Nach einem kurzen Anruf dort sagte man mir man hätte ja nichts mit den Lieferanten zu tun. Das die Schuld aber nicht beim Lieferanten liegt sondern beim vor Ort arbeitenden Personal was es nicht schafft eine komplette Bestellung mitzugeben ist natürlich ausgeschlossen. Ich könne mir ja das Happy Meal die nächsten Tag noch abholen. Was ich für einen schlechten Witz hielt. Eine richtige Entschuldigung gab es auch nicht. Vermutlich verdient man so halt auch noch. Vielleicht sollte McDonalds mal anfangen Personal einzustellen was es schafft 5 Artikel korrekt in eine Tüte zu packen. Es kann durchaus mal vorkommen das Fehler unterlaufen. Es ist menschlich. Aber nicht in der Häufigkeit und nicht die Art und Weise wie so etwas einfach abgetan wird als wäre nichts dran.

Quick bite for fast food. Near the station, only go there when run out of other choices. The crispy chicken didn't get what I was expected. As I tried the crispy chicken burger from other countries before, which is more juicier and more crispy. The one here I ordered the other day is too dry.
