McDonald's in Berlin

Yesterday, I ate a completely oily burger made with old, rancid oil that apparently isn't being changed. I spent the night on the toilet with diarrhea.

I saw all the negative reviews and wondered what everyone's up to. I haven't been here in a long time. Today I was, and unfortunately, I can only say they're right. You wouldn't want to use the restrooms. The walls are sprayed and totally sticky, as are the basins and everything else. You can see yourself in the mirror, but that should be cleaned, too. The food was fresh around 2 p.m., but unfortunately, it was also faulty. Everything you could choose, as an extra, or leave out was ignored. The drive-thru people waited forever at the counter. It's a shame it turned out this way. I hope things get better. The playground also needs some maintenance.

I don't really like fast food in general, but of all the similar establishments in Berlin, this one has the most delicious food.

We had food delivered. The Bobba McFlurry wasn't even half full, and the shaker fries came with a wet wipe instead of a seasoning packet. So, we just got regular fries in a shaker bag. It's a real shame when you're looking forward to the "Around the World" specials and not a single one is delivered correctly. Otherwise, the food was quite good and the delivery was very quick.

Ordered today via Lieferando - no review is possible there because the order simply doesn't show as delivered in the app, which makes a review of Lieferando impossible. Overall, the food was okay, as always - as you'd expect from McDonald's. The problem was that one of the two McFlurrys was only half the size of the other, and both were almost completely liquid. At €4.49 each, that was very disappointing. Instead of the cheeseburger-flavored shaker fries, we just got a regular portion of fries. That was a bit annoying. The delivery took about 25 minutes, which was a real surprise.

Unfortunately, it was very difficult to place an order because the employees couldn't adjust their microphones. When picking up the order, we were told to drive ahead until the coffee was ready, even though there was no car behind us. However, the coffee arrived in two minutes, so it wouldn't have been worth driving ahead anyway.

This store has deteriorated so much. I can't think of anything else to say. The people working there don't understand me. That's why communication is difficult. We don't even need to talk about hygiene. This store should be avoided.

I picked up two meals and 20 nuggets at around 11:30 minutes. Everything was hard and tasted very old – unfortunately, it all went in the trash (about €30). It was probably prepared right after breakfast and sold an hour later. Absolutely outrageous! Prices keep getting higher and higher while quality keeps declining!

If it takes a while, then feel free to be yelled at! People are being served left and right. You stand there, wondering. The McDrive always has right of way anyway, even the customers inside the store. Everyone else is left out in the cold. Get your priorities straight before you yell at people who might not be so happy standing there watching food disappear left and right while your own number has already said goodbye five minutes ago.

We ordered two meals at the drive-thru, one of which was missing when we got home. We called the restaurant quickly to politely point this out, but the employee was incredibly rude and rude. "I should just come by and pick up the missing item" – oh yeah. When I said that wasn't necessary, we just wanted to point out that it was annoying when half of it was missing (and that shouldn't happen; I'm happy to pay for food I don't eat haha), I got the answer: "What do I even want?" They're busy (drive-thru empty, no more than five other cars in the parking lot) and they're only human. Wow, an apology would have been enough. I'm in the restaurant business myself, and if 50% of an order is missing, that's really not a great achievement, and the way they treat the paying customer afterward is abysmal! Sorry, McDonald's, we'll forgo another visit!

An absolute 5 stars for the original McDonald's on Clayallee! 🌟 This drive-thru is a true piece of Berlin history – the charm of that time is still palpable. Terrible! When I told them that half my order was missing, the employee just yelled at me. Otherwise, the food was cold and the fries were soggy. I wouldn't recommend this place under any circumstances!!! 🤮 Also, my boyfriend got a terrible stomach bug from the food (well, what we got) (it's been going on for 5 days now). Absolutely terrible.

The employees are terrible, especially the elderly Asian woman who works the breakfast shift in the morning. She yells at customers when they complain that something is missing from their order. She should be fired immediately! Otherwise, everything in this store is dirty and unkempt. I don't recommend this location!

A disgrace. All four burgers in our order were faulty or completely wrong. My highlight was the BigTastyBacon. I ordered "without onions" and got: with onions, no tomatoes, and no cheese. It's a mystery to me. A refund? It wasn't possible, since there was no receipt.

I wanted to get something here, but I went to the restroom, and it was extremely dirty. The sink wasn't working, so to speak, and I couldn't even wash my hands, so I lost my appetite. I got out and left.

The staff here are getting worse and worse. Every order is wrong, and service is overwhelmed, even at night with minimal capacity. This location has truly become a disaster. Look at who was on duty and make some changes to the staff.

My favorite Mäckes. Always friendly staff, almost always clean, food always freshly prepared, fast service even for older guests who can't figure out how to use modern ordering devices. I really appreciate it... I love it... there there, almost there there... :0)

I've been going there for over 10 years, and it's shocking how the service has deteriorated. Every time I go, parts of my order are forgotten, or the wrong products are given. On top of that, none of the employees speak German and ignore you if you have a problem. It would be great if German was a minimum requirement when dealing with customers!

After I told the friendly gentleman three times that I'd like a bacon burger without tomatoes... he still managed to get everything wrong! I ended up with a BBQ with tomatoes. And then half the cold drinks were sold out by 1 p.m. They should probably close the shop...

The food was unsalted and cold. My boyfriend has been in bed with a stomach bug (for three days). I got the food after 45 minutes, even though I only ordered two small things. PS: My boyfriend was so ill that he missed his oral exam at school, and now he might have to repeat the grade. Thanks, McDonald's 🍔🍟

Unfortunately, it's showing its age. The restrooms are broken. The cozy atmosphere is no longer present.

I've been here several times; fast service, very clean, and a quiet place. Unfortunately, there's limited parking and it's always busy, so there are some long waits. But it's worth it!

I've known this branch for several years. It's quite remarkable how things have been dismantled here. We received the wrong food twice. It's not that bad. The hygiene leaves a lot to be desired. The tables are rarely wiped down. There's dirt on the benches (in the restaurant). It's really disgusting. At second glance, you notice how dirty the rest of the restaurant is. Spills aren't wiped off the pictures or power strips. I don't even want to know what it's like behind the counter.

I needed a bathroom and didn't order anything. It looked crowded 😳

I actually had good experiences here, but today I'm disappointed. I wanted to order McPlant nuggets and they just weren't available, which I found quite stupid, as I think the vegetarian alternative should be offered in the same way as the one with meat. Too bad.

They didn't have tomatoes and just made the order without the tomatoes and gave it to me like that. Like oops sorry no tomatoes this time

It's just wow, the service is kind, you don't even have to wait for your order. This is a really good place to go with your family.

I was at the drive-in counter at this McDonald's branch today and unfortunately I was more than disappointed. I wanted to order the new McFlurry Minecraft - but was told it wasn't available. Strangely enough, I saw several people with exactly this type. This is incomprehensible to me and absolutely annoying. I also ordered an Ice Café Latte - but instead I got a McSundae with caramel. How can such a clear difference happen when ordering? Unfortunately, the staff at the drive-in counter speaks little or very difficult to understand German. Proper communication was hardly possible. It is important to ensure that employees at the drive-in understand German well and can speak it comprehensibly - clear communication is absolutely necessary here. When I asked for my money back, the rude employee simply made me wait without even the slightest apology for the mistake. This behavior is unacceptable. The question arises as to why such personnel are deployed at such an important customer contact point. Overall my visit was disappointing. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and appropriate consequences follow.

This feels as close as to a McDonald’s experience as I would expect as an American. Atmosphere and cleanliness are both very good. The way burgers are put together is disappointing and our kids were given the same toy four times and it wasn’t even what we wanted. Service was fast and accurate though.

We were on our way to see LISA GERRARD in concert and thought we would drop in with the kids and get a snack. HUGE MISTAKE....dirty filthy floors, which we only noticed after we had paid. The smell from the toilets was disgusting. I have contacted both MCDONALDS and the GESUNDHEITSAMT´.

This branch is one of the better ones in the group. The building alone is well chosen.

Here you can often wait 15 minutes or longer for your food. Update! After 30 minutes I got the money refunded. And I wasn't the only one. Underground.

A “typical restaurant for the Golden Seagull”. It was still busy at 8:30 p.m. The branch is still very clean, the employees are friendly and the preparation is quick and uncomplicated. Orders were placed via the self-service displays. Parking space was a bit scarce, but I still found one. The star deduction for ambience, food and overall is of course due to fast food, environmental awareness and of course the not really sustainable and healthy diet. A visit is definitely a good idea for a stopover or as an emergency solution, especially since it is one of the group's better-run locations.

My favorite Mäkkes. Are childhood memories. With Muddan and dog off to Grunewald and then off to McDs. Or just go sinning with Vaddan on Sundays. Was always cool. Especially when the Americans were still there back then. Always put you in a great mood 😁

Quick to make, fresh and always served hot for me.

We wanted to buy several MC Smart menus with children, but the drinks machine was broken. Instead of being offered to give the children apple juice or another drink from the fridge, we say “Then the children should just drink water”. She actually meant tap water with ice cubes. Not really customer friendly and uncooperative. Devices can break...everything is ok, but that's not how you handle seconds. No thanks.

Normally a reliable shop, today we simply forgot my double cheeseburger and the smart menu turned into a sparse menu with just fries. It's a shame, I won't forget that... this disappointment.

2 weeks ago I was there with my family and I was shocked! The smell of old grease hits you straight away, completely listless, slow employees "serve" you in bad German and after you have your tray with your order, you notice that not a single table was wiped or clean. I asked the "manager" to have a table wiped down, he just grinned. Then I did it myself. Today I was at the drive-in and after no one answered the intercom, I drove up to order 2 cheeseburgers. The “manager” told me again that I should turn around and get back in line until someone has time to use the intercom. There is a shortage of staff. Absolutely painless, but it's not the employees' fault, it's the people who hired them. How important can you be to food, hygiene and respect? Absolutely symptomatic for this country now. Show me any McDonald's and I'll tell you what the country is like. Never again this branch on Clayallee!!!

There was no toilet paper or soap in the toilet, although I asked the staff about it, they simply ignored it and it wasn't refilled. I ordered 2 cheeseburgers and said they didn't have ketchup and when my cheeseburgers arrived I noticed that one still had ketchup. The employee then spoke to me and she first tried to discuss things with me. Then I showed her the operator report/receipt.

Septisch lange Wartezeit als McDrive Kunde, 20 Minuten, nur 6 Fahrzeuge waren vor mir. Keine Kommunikation mit dem Mitarbeiter am McDrive Schalter möglich, man wird schlichtweg ignoriert.

Good McDonald's near the university

Sweet branch. Saw it while driving past and then I just had to go in. The house looks really funny. Shortly before Halloween the branch was decorated in a really cool way and I've never seen it like that before. The staff at reception was very friendly, I wanted a Franzbrötchen, I was given a cold one and after asking for a warm one, they responded kindly, with a waiting period of course. I'll be back I think. So have fun :)

Deliveries extremely late. Today, when I called after 50 minutes of waiting for a Lieferando order, the employee couldn't even tell me when to expect the food. I then requested cancellation with a refund. The employee claimed that I would have to contact Lieferando about this. Knew this wasn't true as McDonalds had canceled on their own a few weeks ago due to a lack of drivers. A REAL REASON!

As always, great here. Delicious food, friendly service, loving Halloween decorations and the rustic charm of the restaurant... we always like to come back

One of the best stores in Berlin. Location in the countryside. Great team, always trying to make the guest happy. The food is almost always great. Thank you very much, we hope you will stay with us for a very, very long time.

Considering that this the second McDonald’s restaurant in Germany opening in 1972 this place carries a lot of history. The location is somewhat quaint in the forest near Grunewald (Wald being a forest). Service is average and the place has a playground for children with a small seating area. Late night opening hours make this into great neighbourhood hamburger joint.

Actually good McDonald's but in my last 20 vegetarian nuggets TWO were made from chicken. That doesn't work. The one on the left in the picture is vegetarian, the one on the right has meat (clear to see and taste).
