A lovely old pub with several rooms and a beer garden. Unfortunately, the menu is becoming increasingly limited, and the dishes on it quickly run out. Don't drive, as there are no parking spaces. The Schweizer Hof has potential and is worth a visit.

We were there today and had a Wiener schnitzel with fried potatoes. For €27, these two mini schnitzels were really small. The fried potatoes were completely dry and stale. There was no salt in the entire meal. Absolutely not good value for money. Overall, the food was very poor. But at least the beer is always good.

My friend and I have become regulars here by now. The food is absolutely fantastic! The beer is Augustiner on tap, what more can I say? The service is always top-notch, too! You don't notice the supposed "crisis" in the restaurant industry here. It's always packed on weekends, and you have to be lucky to get a seat. Probably the best Bavarian restaurant in Munich.

After the ceremony, we went to the Schweizer restaurant, about a 10-minute walk from the Pasinger Arcaden. The service was very friendly and fast. The portions were generous, and prices were typical for Munich. Reservations are recommended.

Good food, always, but I waited 30 minutes for someone to take my order. Then I got my beer and another beer, and 50 minutes after ordering, my food arrived. That's unacceptable. Maybe it's a place to come only in winter, when the service and the kitchen can manage.

The food was average—rather poor. We were also disappointed with the service, as we wanted to sit next to the playground for our child, but this wasn't possible because the table wasn't set. I don't understand what the problem is with carrying a beer mug and cardboard lid four tables away 👎

A very nice restaurant with a large beer garden and several separate rooms of varying sizes inside. Unfortunately, since it was raining, we sat inside in a nice little side room. The server was very friendly and humorous. The food—we had cordon bleu and Jägerschnitzel—was delicious. We'll definitely be back.

I come from Lower Saxony and love Bavarian Haxn and here you get your money's worth. The atmosphere is fantastic, the beer garden is beautiful, the staff are incredibly friendly, nice and quick and the Haxn are simply delicious - what more could you want?

Not what it used to be. 2 small schnitzels and a couple of fries for €19.90. It used to be good, but now you don't have to go there anymore. 🫵🤷‍♂️

The waitresses here are also nice. We were greeted by a very friendly gentleman. However, our waitress (Babsy) was the worst I've ever experienced. Every cent of tip was too much. It's unbelievable that they let someone like that work in the service department.

The service was incredibly unfriendly. From the greeting to the question of whether we could push the tables together, there was an unfriendly "no" without explanation, drinks were forgotten, the bill was incorrect, and she was rude. Babsy (curly hair and older) is not to be recommended. A shame! Unfortunately, I even left a tip, and she didn't even thank me; she was still incredibly unfriendly! Tipping is not something to be taken for granted! Unfortunately, it somewhat dampened our celebration. I won't be back!

We went there for dinner and were very satisfied overall. The quality of the meat dishes and the typical Bavarian cuisine are particularly noteworthy – you can tell that the chefs are true specialists. The Jägerschnitzel was a true classic: very tasty and cooked to perfection. The soups were a mixed bag: while the asparagus soup was rather average, the pancake soup was delicious. Here, you can tell that typical Bavarian dishes are very good. The service was extremely friendly and attentive, and the food arrived quickly – a major plus. The ambiance also fits the location well: rustic, cozy, and fitting for the Bavarian cuisine. The beer selection was delicious, and the prices were absolutely reasonable. Overall, the prices are really fair by Munich standards. We'd be happy to come back!

We recently visited the Schweizer Hof for the first time, and I can tell you right away: it won't be our last. Everything was just perfect here. The menu offers a wide selection of dishes, and there's something for every taste. The soups are very large and, above all, delicious. The main courses were equally excellent. My spaghetti with asparagus, Parmesan, and the like was particularly great – amazing. To top it all off, there were delicious apple fritters... :-). Our service was very friendly, and everything went quite quickly (considering that almost every table was occupied). The value for money is excellent. The beer garden is also quite nice. Next time it's sunny, we'll sit outside. The only downside is the location... finding a parking space might take a bit longer here ;-) Otherwise, we were really impressed!

Great German gastropub with wonderful beer, food and vibes. We tried the chicken schnitzel which was basically baked chicken with butter, steamed vegetables and something like tater tot patties (I don't remember the German names for any of these). The food was delicious, simple and healthy. The local beer was also very solid. Would definitely recommend!

Fast, uncomplicated, committed.

The roast pork was excellent, as was the beer – Augustiner. You can choose between a roll or potato dumplings, so it's perfect for both Catholic and Protestants. Everything went pretty quickly, too. What more could you want? I haven't been there in about 50 years! .... It's still a really good Bavarian pub!

**Unfortunately disappointing experience** The two of us were in the beer garden and ordered a simple cup of coffee. Unfortunately the behavior of the staff (waitress) was extremely rude and unfriendly. The best first, super friendly and courteous staff! Otherwise, the portions were more for small appetites and there are probably not many ways to serve a sausage salad in a more unpleasant way than in a glass. Maybe we were just unlucky with our choice of dishes, as a worker at the next table was given a really nice portion...

Great Bavarian restaurant with a nice beer garden. You can eat really tasty food here. Unfortunately, prices have now risen significantly. But attention is also paid to the origin of the products, such as meat, which I find very positive. Sometimes it gets quite loud when it's very crowded, which is almost always the case. It is therefore advisable to reserve.

Your offer is very tasty but financially no longer manageable as often as before! We hope for a price reduction with the VAT reduction to 7% from 2026. If not, you will lose us as permanent guests. We have been to the Schweizer Hof several times in the last 2 years. The quality of the food is always ok. The last visit, unfortunately, was a failure. The menu is very small, the dishes ordered are mediocre at best. Salted and over-seasoned my pretzel dumplings in the cream mushrooms. My husband's meatballs, 2 firm balls with a potato salad from the bucket. The dessert, pre-made apricot dumplings with industrial vanilla ice cream. For us that was it with the Schweizer Hof - sorry...

Very authentic cuisine, but also suitable for vegetarians! There's a changing menu so everyone can find something they like. There were five of us, and everyone was happy with their dishes. The service was also super friendly and attentive! The restaurant's decor is also impressive, and you feel very comfortable. Highly recommended :)
