**Unfortunately, a disappointing experience** The two of us were in the beer garden and ordered a simple cup of coffee. Unfortunately, the staff (waitress) were extremely rude and unfriendly. This unpleasant experience left a very negative impression on us, and we will not have fond memories of this place. On May 11, 2025, at approximately 1:20 PM.

Great restaurant with very friendly service and fantastic food! We tried the asparagus dishes and were thoroughly impressed. Live music made our evening at the Schweizer Hof perfect.

Disrespectful treatment of guests

A Bavarian economy of the old style. There is always something vegetarian too. Plus Augustiner beer. What more could you want!

The best first, super friendly and courteous staff! Otherwise, the portions were more for small appetites and there are probably not many ways to serve a sausage salad in a more unpleasant way than in a glass. Maybe we were just unlucky with our choice of dishes, as a worker at the next table was given a really nice portion...

Great Bavarian restaurant with a nice beer garden. You can eat really tasty food here. Unfortunately, prices have now risen significantly. But attention is also paid to the origin of the products, such as meat, which I find very positive. Sometimes it gets quite loud when it's very crowded, which is almost always the case. It is therefore advisable to reserve.

The Schweizer Hof offers good cuisine at decent prices, the service is quick and friendly, and the homemade Franconian-style bratwursts I had yesterday were the best I've ever tasted outside of Franconia.

Asparagus cooked well, but convenience potatoes are not possible at all - soft, taste stodgy and almost all cooked were totally disappointing...!

Unfortunately the price-performance ratio is no longer right! Food has become significantly more expensive and portions smaller! Your offer is very tasty but financially no longer manageable as often as before! We hope for a price reduction with the VAT reduction to 7% from 2026. If not, you will lose us as permanent guests. We have been to the Schweizer Hof several times in the last 2 years. The quality of the food is always ok. The last visit, unfortunately, was a failure. The menu is very small, the dishes ordered are mediocre at best. Salted and over-seasoned my pretzel dumplings in the cream mushrooms. My husband's meatballs, 2 firm balls with a potato salad from the bucket. The dessert, pre-made apricot dumplings with industrial vanilla ice cream. For us that was it with the Schweizer Hof - sorry...

Very authentic cuisine, but also suitable for vegetarians! There's a changing menu so everyone can find something they like. There were five of us, and everyone was happy with their dishes. The service was also super friendly and attentive! The restaurant's decor is also impressive, and you feel very comfortable. Highly recommended :)

If I lived closer, this would be my local bar. Great ambience, great friendly service and great food. Daily menu changes every day with a great selection. I'll be back next time I'm in Munich.

Great old inn with incredibly good food and great service. Unfortunately, two dishes arrived much earlier, so we had to eat them separately, which unfortunately took away from the perfection. Otherwise there is nothing to complain about and we would be happy to come back.

Wir waren an einem Samstag hier zum Essen. Wir waren 10 Personen und bis auf den etwas desinteressierten Service und das zweimalige kommen da Gerichte nicht wohl nicht mehr verfügbar waren. Ebenfalls hat man selten jemanden am Tisch gesehen, sodass wir auch gar keine Getränke nachbestellen konnten. Das Essen, Schnitzel, Allgäuer Zwiebelrostbraten, Leberknödelsuppe, Jägerschnitzel etc. Waren alle lecker und gut portioniert. Empfehlung aber vom Service darf man nicht viel erwarten.

Ich war gestern mit meinem Sohn zum Abendessen verabredet. Wir hatten einen Tisch im Durchgang zum hintersten Nebenzimmer und kamen uns vor, wie auf der Wiesn im überfüllten Zelt. Laut und voll. Der Ober würdigte uns bei der Bestellung keines Blickes. Das Essen war lauwarm und der Salat ohne jeglichem Dressings. Wir haben sehr schnell gegessen, nur um möglichst schnell wieder rauszukommen. Beim Bezahlen wurde ich weder gefragt ob wir zufrieden waren noch wieder mal eines Blickes gewürdigt. Ich habe trotz allem noch das übliche Trinkgeld gegeben. Es gab dafür keine Danke und das Wechselgeld wurde mir buchstäblich auf den Tisch geschmissen!!! So was habe ich noch nie erlebt!!

Very good food, good service, friendly. The only disadvantage was that it was nice to sit in, but it was freezing cold. We were 8 people at the birthday party, everyone scored. The service was asked about it but unfortunately it wasn't fixed... otherwise everything was great 😀🥰

Wir lieben den Schweizer Hof und sind oft und gerne da. Nur eine Bitte hier: die Portion für vegetarische Gerichte ist einfach zu klein, da können nur solche satt werden, die eigentlich keinen Hunger haben. Auf die rechteckigen Teller passt nicht mehr drauf, aber muss man die Portion dem Teller anpassen und nicht eher umgekehrt?

Very traditional restaurant, the taste was ok, unfortunately the food was rather lukewarm. Otherwise, it is highly recommended for typical Bavarian cuisine.

Things used to be better under the old management, but you can accept it.

We made a reservation by phone and were told to just come along. When we got there at the requested time, they said sorry, we don't have anything free anymore. No one wanted or could answer why I wasn't told this when I called 1 hour in advance. If you can't rely on a reservation, it's really bitter, that's why you get a grade 6 and definitely not a second attempt!

Were today December 26th. There for dinner at 5 p.m., spontaneously able to reserve a place for 3, service, food, everything was great... thanks to the team at Schweizer Hof

I didn't find the service here to be either friendly or unfriendly. A particular minus point, however, is the fact that the Schweizer Hof is pretty much the only Bavarian restaurant where you don't get 0.5 liters of soot - even if you order two. I found the dishes to be solid Bavarian fare but nothing that stood out. The price is at a reasonable level.

Food was very tasteful, the portion may have been a bit small, but that is always subjective. Service tried hard, fast and friendly. Furnishings are wooden, Bavarian and well-kept, so no surprise.

Our visit to this inn was more than disappointing. As soon as we entered the restaurant we were sent to the back by a waitress, only to be sent away again and directed to the front. This lack of coordination was the first negative impression. After we finally sat down at a table to take off our jackets, a completely unnecessary conflict arose. We had coffee-to-go cups that we had placed at the other end of the table - deliberately far away from us to make it clear that we would not use them. Nevertheless, we were immediately rudely told that we weren't allowed to drink anything from the cups. When I explained that we had no intention of doing that and had just put the cups there so we couldn't hold them in our hands, the waitress became noticeably less friendly. My offer to have the cups disposed of was rejected and the situation continued to escalate for no reason whatsoever. In the end we were even portrayed as “troublemakers” and asked to leave the restaurant. Such disrespectful behavior towards guests is absolutely unacceptable. That wasn't service, just pure rudeness. I will never enter this restaurant again and cannot recommend it to anyone.

A dignified Bavarian inn in the middle of the urban Pasing. Ambiance, service, food - everything was very harmonious. Always worth a visit.

Clean, it's buzzing! A really good economy between all the snack bars and chains. Roast pork, dumplings and the like at real tavern tables, sit down and have a chat! It jerks and jerks sometimes, it's just human. All the best to the team and many thanks for living the Bavarian pub tradition in the globalized monotony!

I was there on a Saturday to have dinner with my girlfriend. We ordered our food around 7 p.m.: a cordon bleu and a pork knuckle. At 8 p.m. the cordon bleu arrived, and 15 minutes later the waiter let me know that there was no more pork knuckle, even though my friend's food was already half cold by this point. I then ordered a schnitzel with fries, which was served 20 minutes later. Unfortunately I cannot recommend the restaurant...

Schweizer Hof is a spacious Wirtshaus conveniently located near Pasinger Marienplatz, offering ample indoor seating and a warm, wooden interior. The menu is extensive and leans heavily towards meat dishes, though there are a few vegetarian and fish options. The pork schnitzel was a standout - tender, crispy, and perfectly seasoned. The lemon chicken, served as a juicy half-grilled chicken with lemon sauce, was satisfying, though the sauce left something to be desired and the accompanying vegetables were undercooked. A note of clarification on the curry chicken would have been helpful, as it is battered and deep-fried, but it was delicious nonetheless. While the food portions are generous and the pricing fair, the service leaves room for improvement. It was quite slow, and the staff wasn't particularly attentive - waiting to settle the bill took far too long. Overall, Schweizer Hof delivers tasty, hearty food. Come with an appetite and a bit of patience!

Supplement changes are not possible on Sunday. We wanted potato instead of hash browns and that was strictly rejected. The vegetables were raw and the food itself was bland. Service was ok. Would not recommend the restaurant. The prices are relatively high, but not even accommodating guests' requests is not appreciative.

Christmas party with around 15 people. Food very good, quaint but well-kept atmosphere. The service was quick and generally attentive but on the cool side of cordiality 😁. The prices are completely okay, but card payments only start at 20 euros - since we were charged in between due to a shift change, this was an issue the second time we paid.

I was here with a larger group for a get-together (we change places every now and then). The service was super quick and very attentive. Each of us was completely satisfied with our meal and the prices were reasonable. We also liked the atmosphere, traditional but not old-fashioned. It's really great here and we've already said that we'll definitely come back.

Very tasty food and excellent service.

Quality has gone down abit over the last 6 months. Several dishes were not warm when served. We specially ordered one kids portion and the waiter served as kids portion (he said it upon serving) but billed us 'Senorita' portion. When asked, he said they don’t served kids portion to adults even though we had kids with us. Not billing what we ordered is really a no go.

It's just a great Augustinian restaurant with very good food, friendly service and a homely atmosphere.

Pleasant and cozy. In front of the entrance of the restaurant there is a Christmas bazaar with handmade decorations and goodies. A kind lady collects the collected funds for children with cancer. What could be better than combining the pleasant with the useful. I sincerely recommend.

Went to the Schweizer Hof again after a long time. Service top. The food was great with one exception. We ordered a steak, we got it bloody, that can happen, but the same steak came back to us a few minutes later, still raw. Carelessly slapped onto the plate, the side dish was now cold and blood was coming through. Then we ordered something else. The meat was perfect, the side dish was cold and you would have thought it was a bit older.

What a perfect place! Food, first of all. Ingredients they use are outstanding. They produce their own meat and that makes their dishes unique in terms of quality. They even have their stand at the Oktoberfest, just saying. Nothing comes out of a heat lamp here. Ambiance is so traditional with a wood interior, you step inside and are immersed in a quaint German village. It’s easy to forget your troubles in here. Service is friendly, quick and great. I’ll come back in the summer to enjoy the beer garden.

The dishes were tasty and down-to-earth, just as you would expect from home-style cooking. Unfortunately, the service couldn't quite keep up. Although the staff was polite, they lacked attentiveness and promptness. There is definitely still room for improvement here.

Something has happened at the Schweizer Hof. The food is again very good, the portions are generous. The influx of guests makes it abundantly clear. At some times a reservation is almost a must. We would love to go there again.

Breaded schnitzel with lemon, potato dumplings and “dunk” in combination with O juice. I praise the Austrians! It's easy to make such a lapse in taste not served!! And if the guest wants it 10 times. "It won't work out" would always be the answer! Point. Done! Done! They won't let the traditional cuisine there be ruined. Only the Bavarians are that stupid. Nobody could pay that much money to get something like that. POOH! 🤮

Culinary blow. My experience at this restaurant was very disappointing. My father and I ordered the same dish: roast beef with cheese spaetzle and fried onions for 27.90 euros each. The disappointment started with the serving time - my food came 5 minutes later, when my father had already eaten almost half of it. My father's roast was medium instead of rare as ordered, and mine was unfortunately well done instead of medium. The waitress confirmed this when I pointed it out to her. In addition, my father's roast was very fibrous and contained a lot of cartilage. As confirmed upon request, the fried onions were ready-made fried onions. Overall, our visit to this restaurant was a bitter disappointment. Although it was suggested that we return the dishes, for ethical reasons I am reluctant to throw away meat that an animal died for. This was definitely our last visit to the Schweizer Hof!
