Bayerisches Schnitzel- & Hendlhaus Aubing in München

One of my best experiences. 💯% suggested.

The smell of old grease and cigarette smoke alone should have put me off eating here. In the almost empty restaurant, the waitress directed us to a smaller table. As if anyone came here more than once, except for a few lost souls. As expected, the food was bad and not cheap at all. Conclusion: freshly painted on the outside, the last time on the inside was when Adenauer was still chancellor. Never again.

Homemade spaetzle, not overly seasoned, with lots of fresh eggs and cheese, come early for the roast pork on Sunday!

The schnitzel and cheese spaetzle were very tasty, special thanks to Susi for the excellent service!

We were here with 4 people at the weekend. There wasn't much going on. We had Jägerschnitzel with spaetzle: it was very chewy and the very thick sauce tasted like Maggi. One of our companions had the normal pork schnitzel with fries. It was also really tough. The waitress saw that one of us's glass was empty, but didn't even ask if we wanted anything else. The table wasn't clean either. The seating is very worn. It used to be very good here, but today I can no longer recommend it.

Last Sunday I was there again to take away food! I complained about half a chicken that I had taken with me a week before! Chicken skin is dry under the skin, meat is already dried out and I like fresh chicken for my money and not stale, dried out chicken! The man shouts at me, puts me down, assumes that I complain every time, which is not true at all, keeps shouting and telling me to leave and not come back in front of other customers there! Well, the last time I was there, I never went there again, so someone puts me down like that just because you can't handle criticism, a shameless, disrespectful man who screams at a strange woman like that and thinks she's really stupid! What he did with me there, he should have done it to a man who would have pulled him over the counter! But men like the one in there only dare to do that with women who can't defend themselves anyway! I14.02.2025 Find another competent employee this man also treats others like this and drives them away! This is all true and what you write here is all blah blah blah. . . .

I picked up half a chicken from a street vendor in Neuaubing. Unfortunately, when I got home I realized that it looked more like a house chick. The scales showed 335 grams. And that for 8 €!!!!!! Outrageous and bordering on exorbitant prices. Never again!!!!!!!!!

I always enjoy eating there. The food is good and the service is good too and every visit reminds you of the past

Saturday giant schnitzel at a great price

Super friendly staff and the Cordon Rouge was a dream. The side salad could be a little less iceberg lettuce but that is complaining at a very high level. ;) Preus/performance is true and what others call old-fashioned can also be found rustic and cozy.

Group of Italian guys ended up in this restaurant by chance. Delicious and very nice ✌️

Like before in the Vienna Woods. Either in the restaurant or simply to take home. I think it's great and the waiting time flies if you don't pre-order

A nice neighborhood inn with friendly service and good beer. But that was it, the breading of the Wiener Schnitzel was crumbly and I would include the fried potatoes on the menu without the word brat. Unfortunately prepared carelessly. The Rewe across the street saved my evening. Luckily, Mr. Hacker and Pschorr weren't there.

Great, rustic restaurant that brings back memories of when Jahn'schen Wienerwald still existed! Original decor, very friendly staff and absolutely delicious food wherever you go You can choose in normal, medium and large portions! The prices are really reasonable!!!! Absolutely recommended!

Unfortunately, after 30 minutes of waiting, we were not served despite requests. After going back and forth to whoever wanted to serve us, we finally left.

Everything here is really squalid... the shop is completely empty, but the service is extremely slow, absolutely unfriendly and inattentive. Tables are dirty and so is the cutlery. Every year we eat worse with more and more cheap ready-made sauces, over-fatty fries and/or fried potatoes, but the prices still rise from quarter to quarter, completely unjustified.... good tip, go somewhere else!!!

Good and inexpensive, if you like eating meat, this is the place for you. Good quality and tastes good. Also now very good Italian cafe. Excellent cappuccino!

So when the Volksbühne takes place in the Bavarian schnitzel & trading house... all I can say is, come and see, the performances are really funny.

We had dinner here with my family 2 weeks ago. The waitress wasn't very friendly. When I eat at a restaurant, I don't have to tip. I didn't feel like tipping. The waitress wanted to embarrass me in front of other customers because I didn't tip. As long as the workers are working at this restaurant, I will never eat there again. I don't recommend it to anyone...

Food great as always. Nothing special, but if you just want to go to a rustic Bavarian restaurant and like to eat schnitzel and chicken, this is the right place for you. Good prices and all schnitzels available either as turkey or pork. There was even a vegetable schnitzel.

Large selection, good food, inexpensive and very friendly service

When I'm in a hurry and my stomach is growling, I like to go to Bayerisches Schnitzel and Hendlhaus. I haven't been to the restaurant itself, I always take something from the street sales. The chicken here is fresh and very tasty. Especially not dry. Another thing I really like is the homemade potato salad. Delicious. 😋 You can also buy many other things there such as cordon bleu, schnitzel, fries, chicken wings,... Depending on the day of the week, there is something cheaper. The staff at the street sales are always very nice. 100% purchase recommendation

We were here for the first time and were very satisfied. The traffic from Limesstrasse is disruptive in the garden.

If you order something from the Schnitzel Haus, it should be ready, but you have to wait another 15 minutes until you get it. I won't be ordering here again

A super Bavarian economy. Very good food (also in XL) and good prices!! The waitresses are very friendly!! There is also a small beer garden, although it is a busy intersection but you can bear it!! The food fully compensates!! We go there to eat often and it's always great!!! Good menu.Been there again!! Unique!!! We still enjoy being there. Just came from there!!

My “forester” made me very happy. Music in the background was nice, prices are reasonable. Amount sufficient even if you are very hungry 🙂 Salad plate was fresh and huge (enough for 2 people). Staff courteous and nice! Perfect after a construction site in the area

Good food. Little price but tastes good.

We were there for a long weekend and wanted to eat in the same atmosphere, which we succeeded in doing because the ambience really corresponds to the surroundings and is very rustic!!! The service staff was friendly and pleasant. I can recommend the original Wienerschnitzel to everyone. The portions are more than sufficient. The other dishes also looked quite tasty. I would definitely stop by again if I was there again.

We ended up here by chance, at first glance the street could be annoying, but we not only had 10 star service, but also the finest food!!! A chicken house without chicken, and that at dinner time and with only a handful of guests in the restaurant. My husband then decided on a Wiener Schnitzel, which unfortunately was fried to death and the wafer-thin meat was therefore very dry. You almost only had breading in your mouth. The (fried) potatoes were unseasoned and soggy. Everything was very carelessly prepared and not seasoned. Unfortunately not a recommendation for me. Only the service was very friendly.

What an incredibly friendly restaurant. I stopped at Bayerische Schnitzel and Hendlhaus at 10:30 p.m. and was treated very lovingly and very tasty. Had my favorite dish: grilled chicken and despite the late hour it was really tasty, crispy and not dry at all. Particularly worthy of mention is the super friendly service staff! I sometimes get different variations of chicken here to take away. The food is always fresh and the service is friendly and everything is always quick. It's also good that there are parking spaces.

Update: No tipping for the first time today. Service staff were completely overwhelmed and couldn't get anything done. Guests had to wait 1/2 hour for drinks. If I were in their position, I would have left long ago. ====== Unfortunately, the store is going downhill. Some call it inflation, I claim that it is now overpriced. The food is no longer what it used to be. Dry schnitzel and fries, old chicken. Some operations are also a bit inflexible and don't care about customer requests.

Basically a good economy with a beer garden and good cuisine. But today we waited a full hour for a waitress to come to the table and at least get the menu. And then not even an apology.

The chicken was neither fresh nor well done. The shandy was strange. Service was attentive. Otherwise, an outdated Vienna Woods atmosphere.

After a friend wanted to go there, I was forced to go and I wasn't surprised, it's exactly as you imagined. There is no ambience inside, the service is hard and the guests are quite special. The restaurant seems extremely run down, you could get so much more out of the location but well, what do I know. Food solid and greasy but nothing special.

Simple chicken roastery with very unassuming sellers who are relatively brisk. Food is OK. You can do it.

Was in the beer garden today. I ordered a fried chicken salad. Unfortunately there was none of the crisp salad. He's dripping and swimming in fat. When I complained, the waitress said that that was what people wanted and that it was normal with pumpkin seed oil! No apology or anything, but just wanted to keep the tip. Disastrous food and miserable service. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Specialised into chicken in every way possible, they do what they do on a good level. Try to get seating outside or simply order for take away. I would recommend half a bird in the garlic roast version.

As a vegetarian you shouldn't be hungry. The vegetable schnitzel comes with a few completely overcooked, tasteless potatoes. Definitely not recommended

Disastrous service! Here you wait 30 minutes for drinks and an hour for food. If you ask, you'll get talked at stupidly.

We've been picking up something to eat there for years, but the last few weeks have shown how little interest an employee can have. The batteries are taken out of the landline so that no one calls. When you're there, the battery and the phone are at the counter and there's no one there because everyone's smoking. There has never been such bad service at the Togo counter!

Food was better. The service in the theater hall was stressful for the staff as the hall was full to the last seat! Ambiance unchanged and completely fine.

We had a wonderful evening with the Aubinger Volksbühne. The schnitzel was huge and good, the fries were tasty. The waiter was very friendly despite being incredibly stressed. What I was missing was ketchup.

Absolutely disgusting. That doesn't work at all. First and foremost, we arrived in a larger group and had to push the tables together OURSELVES. Apart from that, we waited more than an hour for the food that in the end it was even billed incorrectly and we then had to wait an extra hour because the waitress was simply gone. The food was cold when it arrived at the table and after this was addressed, it was simply warmed up in the microwave with the topping and served again. The words of the waitress after the food came: “Are we friends again?” is absolutely not acceptable. Despite repeated requests, we had the feeling that our concerns were not being addressed with the appropriate level of commitment. After we had to wait an hour for the money to be billed incorrectly by the waitress, we were loudly insulted by another waitress in front of the other guests when we spoke to us again. They kept saying it wasn't their problem. An impudence!!!!!!

Einfach ein besonderes Wirtshaus. Der Charme von früher und gutes Essen im Wirtshaus und ebenso wer es eilig hat im Straßen Verkauf . Sogar einen Festsaal gibt es; durchgehend warme Küche !

Thanks, I tried to eat my worst chicken today, Extremely dead fried, and really dry, skin and underlying chicken meat was dark and couldn't even be cut, and that after the hendl today February 13th, 2024 at 2:00 p.m came fresh off the spit, sorry, never again

Saftiges Hendl! Super Kaiserschmarrn

Schnitzel und Hendl sind super und dabei sollte es auch im Angebot bleiben. Leider erhält man bei den anderen Gerichten keine gute Qualität, weshalb ich dort nur das Schnitzel und Hendl weiterempfehlen kann. (Tiefkühl Gemüse, Bratensoße aus der Tüte und ein qualitativ nicht so gutes Hühnerbrustfilet…)

Ich war zum Mittagstisch dort und habe ein Cordon Bleu mit Kartoffelsalat und gemischtem Salat gegessen und ein Spezi getrunken. Zusammenfassend muss ich sagen, es war schmackhaft jedoch meiner Ansicht nach war die Portionsgröße für einen wenigesser wie mich gerade ausreichend und der Preis zu dafür zu hoch. Ich wetde dort nicht mehr speisenn. Die Bedienung war gut, schnell und höflich

Nach dem Besuch muss man sich erst mal komplett umziehen, sehr unangenehmer Geruch nach Küche. Renovierung wäre mal nötig, Essen war ok.

Hei zusammen…ich fasse mal kurz zusammen … koche selber , bin kein Auswärts -essen -geher ! Wir waren gestern zu dritt da , haben alle etwas anderes bestellt, und ich muß sagen war alles super 👍! Und der Adam , der uns bedient hat , hat Mindestens 5 Sterne verdient… super nett schnell und zuvorkommend…!!!Wenn man so einen Angestellten hat , kann man als Chef nur glücklich sein 👍☺️

Essen immer gut Heute 29.12.23 Altmünchner Schnitzel mit Bratkartoffeln gegessen. Würde das nächster mal lieber Kartoffelsalat dazu essen denn der ist dort wirklich lecker. Schnitzel war leider in der Fritöse gemacht oder Pfanne in der das Schnitzel schwimmt Leider kein Foto gemacht

Ein gut bürgerliches Gasthaus, etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber mit charm. Muss nicht immer alles piekfein sein. Sehr gutes Essen und nette Bedienung. Die Gäste fühlen sich wohl und das ist das wichtigste. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Abbiamo preso da asporto pollo allo spiedo e patatine di buona qualità. Lo spazio ha ospitato uno spettacolo di burattini.

Un luogo splendido, caldo e accogliente. Non ci sono moltissime etichette di birre ma quelle che hanno sono classiche e ottime. Il cibo è eccezionale e il piatto della casa è indimenticabile. Ottimo il servizio, i camerieri sono molto cortesi e molto veloci. Ottimo il rapporto qualità prezzo. Con circa 20€ a persona torni a casa sazio e felice.

Wir waren zum Theater im Saal, es war sehr eng gestellt (es sind 4er Tische und an den Zwischenräumen mussten auch immer noch zwei sitzen), die Plätze am Rand konnten kaum etwas sehen (Vorhang davor). Der Service hat sein bestes gegeben, war aber einfach unterbesetzt. Die Portionen sind groß und gut aber einfach angerichtet (beim Schnitzel liegt wirklich nur das Schnitzel mit Bratkartoffeln auf dem Teller und ein kleines Stück Zitrone, etwas Petersilie oder Schnittlauch wäre schön). Wir hätten auch gerne noch mehr Umsatz gemacht, allerdings hat der Service das leider nicht geschafft. Im Saal galt eine gekürzte Speisekarte, was völlig in Ordnung ist.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal hier. Warum nur nicht schon eher? Es war eine positive Überraschung. Der Service ist ausgezeichnet. Das Essen war sehr gut. Es gibt nix zu meckern. Gerne wieder.

Sehr gute bayrische Wirtschaft,wer Schnitzel und Hendl mag, ist sehr gut aufgehoben Gute Portion,man kann wählen zwischen normal, groß oder XXL Varianten Ich habe mich für XXL Schnitzel entschieden,war für einen großen Appetit sehr gut Ein großes Schnitzel wie der Teller und noch ein kleineres Stück dazu Pommes Wir waren zu sechst,jeder hatte etwas anderes gegessen Alles sehr lecker Vegetarisch Empfehlung hier eher nicht,aber das sagt ja schon der Name des Lokal aus

Ich WAR - Betonung liegt auf WAR ein wiederkehrender Kunde, aber seit einigen Wochen/Monaten geht es kontinuierlich BERGAB mit diesem Laden...Essen ist labbrig, alte Pommes (Restaurant) und ToGo gibt es wohl Mini-Portionen. Zuletzt Cordon-Bleu (Mitteochs im Angebot) bestellt, weil ich derb Hunger hatte...was war? Cordon-Bleu aus der Fritteuse...Pommes - Min-Portioni...(wirklich), Salat..Gut, bis aufs Dressing, da wird neuerdings mit Wasser wohl gestreckt...und dann noch €15 dafür berappen..finde ich großartig, wirklich! Adieu, sage ich nun, endgültig!
