Dieses Restaurant ist ein echter Geheimtipp! Mein Mann und ich haben jeden Abend während unseres Aufenthalts hier gegessen. Jeden Abend haben wir etwas anderes probiert und waren von jedem Gericht begeistert. Man merkt, dass hier viel Liebe und Sorgfalt in Essen, Service und Atmosphäre gesteckt wird. Der Kellner war sehr freundlich, hat uns die Speisekarte vom Deutschen ins Englische übersetzt und uns Empfehlungen gegeben. Absolut empfehlenswert, wenn Sie in der Gegend sind und Lust auf herzhafte, bayerische Küche haben. Und bei schönem Wetter unbedingt draußen sitzen!

Ich war letzte Woche zum ersten Mal dort. Es handelt sich um ein uriges Wirtshaus im Kern von München. Leider ein bisschen unbekannt obwohl es eine gute ÖPNV Anbindung gäbe. Es steht eine Standart Speisekarte sowie eine saisonale/Tageskarte zur Verfügung. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und man wird gleich bedient. Gleiches gilt für das Essen welches zügigst zubereitet wird. Das Essen entspricht dem Aussehen des Lokals, rustikal traditionell. Der Schweinebraten (sehr zu empfehlen) wird mit ordentlich Soße und Kruste bereitgestellt. Ebenso das Schnitzel welches schön goldbraun zu einem auf den Platz kommt. Ein Besuch dieses Lokales wäre es mir immer wieder Wert.

Alte bayerischen Gaststätte. Man kennt sich, man schätzt sich. Als neuer Gast fühlt man sich herzlich willkommen. Irgendwie und sowieso lässt grüßen. Die Speisen traditionell und hervorragend im Geschmack. Eine ehrliche Empfehlung wert.

Gutes bayrisches Wirtshaus mit sehr freundlicher Bedienung. Die Portionen sind gut und groß. Die Preise sind für Münchner Verhältnis günstig. Die Lage ist ok. Die Einrichtung ist sehr rustikal.

Nach einem langen Tag voller Sightseeing in München lohnt sich ein Zwischenstopp für einen kleinen Imbiss und ein kühles Bier 🍺. Ich empfehle die typisch bayerische Küche und lade Sie ein, sich mit dem freundlichen Personal auf Polnisch zu unterhalten.

Heute hatte ich Spargel mit hausgemachter Sauce Hollandaise und einem kleinen Kalbsschnitzel. Super lecker. Die Sauce ist eine Klasse für sich, alles andere natürlich auch. Komme immer wieder gerne.

Ein typisch bayerisches Restaurant mit Brauhaus Ambiente. Sehr gutem Essen und einem sehr freundlichen Service. Wir waren mit mehreren dort und unser Essen kam zeitgleich, so dass wir gemütlich zusammen essen konnten. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Von Anfang bis Ende eine 10/10 Der Zwetschgenröster zum Kaiserschmarrn ist unverschämt lecker 😋

Den Schoberwirt habem wir als Tipp für die Übertragung Bayern gg. BVB bekommen. Für 5 Personen haben wir noch einen Tisch via Empfehlung gekommen. Da waren wir schon zufrieden. Das war es aber noch nicht. Wir bekamen noch ein sehr gutes Essen. Ob Haxe oder Braten, Salat oder Schnitzel. Alles war lecker. Es sind ordentliche Portionen zu einem angemessenen Preis. Das Beste kam dann zum Schluß: ein Kaiserschmarrn mit Apfelkompott und Zwetschgenröster. Ein Gedicht. Inzwischen war ich wiederholt dort. Und war immer zu 100% zufrieden.

Dies ist ein sehr stilvolles und gepflegtes Gasthaus in der Nähe des Deutschen Museeum. Erstklassige Bayerisch-österreichische Küche (Der Kaiserschmarren kann es mit den besten Häusern Wiens aufnehmen) und gepflegte Getränke. Dazu ein stilechter und schneller Service. Und das alles zu sehr moderaten Preisen. Das Lokal öffnet in der Woche um 16 Uhr. Unbedingt reservieren, da es sehr beliebt ist....

So sollte eine Wirtschaft sein! Ordentliches Essen, nette Kellner, kein Schnickschnack.

Der Schoberwirt überzeugt mit guter, bodenständiger bayerischer Küche und einem urigen altbayerischen Flair in der Gaststätte. Auch wenn ich kein klassisches Gericht gewählt habe, kann ich das Cordon Bleu mit Bratkartoffeln sehr empfehlen – hervorragend zubereitet und geschmacklich top. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl, und die Atmosphäre lädt zum Verweilen ein. Ich komme gerne wieder und kann den Schoberwirt uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.😊

Ist ein nettes lockst Mittag und Abendessen und leckere Gerichte

Ich kann nicht anders: Ich muss die volle Punktzahl geben. In meinem geliebten München quasi am Rande von mitten in der Stadt gibt es noch bayerische Wirtshäuser mit Charm und Lokalkolorit. Ein mehr als ausreichendes Speisenangebot macht die Wahl schwer, aber wie auch immer die Entscheidung ausfällt: sie ist richtig. Man sollte allerdings mit Öffis kommen, da Parkplätze so gut wie nicht vorhanden sind. Gerne wieder beim nächsten Besuch!

Ein sehr gutes Restaurant, unser Essen und der Service waren einfach hervorragend … wir kommen gerne wieder….

Tja wie soll man das bewerten? Wir hatten eine Portion Spanferkel zu zweit mit einem zusätzlichen Knödel und 3 Bier. Die Rechnung betrug schließlich 41 Euro. Wir haben dann noch 4 Euro Trinkgeld drauf - soweit so gut. Wir hätten uns aber den Blick auf die Rechnung ersparen sollen, denn dann erkannten wir, dass uns Euro 3,50 "Tellergeld" für den 2.Teller berechnet wurden (wir hatten diesen allerdings nicht bestellt). Auf unsere schüchterne Nachfrage hab uns der Wirt eine plausible ausführliche Erklärung, dass ja der 2. Teller auch abgespült werden müsse, das koste nicht nur Arbeitszeit, sondern auch Strom außerdem würde ein weiterer Platz belegt, den man nicht an Umsatzkraeftiger Kundschaft vergeben könnte usw. Soweit wir erkennen konnten, würde die anwesenden Stammkundschaft sehr gut behandelt. allerdings scheint es hierfür eine lange Warteliste zu geben. Dann doch lieber ums Eck zum Italiener, da sind wir schon registriert. .........Obwohl, das Spanferkel war leider sehr lecker.

Alles war 100%. Salat, Schnitzel mit Preiselberen und Bratkartoffeln: alles war herlich. Die Bedienung war freundlich mit Humor. Wir sind glücklich dass wir unsere Feriën hier abgeschlossen haben. Karel, Linda und Mats aus die Niederlände.

Beilagen Salat war sehr gut. Schnitzel vom Kalb mit Bratkartoffeln war gut.

I was there with five friends for dinner. It was one of my friends' birthdays. Unfortunately, this restaurant lacks hospitality. One friend had brought a cake as a birthday present. After dinner, we asked the owner if it would be okay to eat it. We even offered to pay for it. He reacted very indignantly and said that was absolutely unacceptable because he had to make money somehow, which I couldn't really understand since we had specifically offered to pay for it. It was really difficult to maintain the birthday mood after this extremely stingy reaction from the owner. I can understand that a restaurant owner doesn't want guests consuming food they've brought themselves. Whether or not to make an exception for a birthday cake is up to each individual owner. While I find it stingy in this case, since we had ordered quite a lot and he had made a good profit from us, I can still somewhat understand his position. What I really didn't like, however, was the unfriendly way our request was handled. P.S. By the way, given how the restaurant reacts to criticism, I think I can only agree that in some cases it might not be a bad idea to reflect on oneself :)

I was in Munich as a tourist and didn't want to leave without trying the delicious Bavarian cuisine. A friend from my exchange program recommended this restaurant. I went alone, and although it was full when I arrived, the gentleman at the bar offered me a seat at a small table right there. I felt very comfortable from the start. The food was excellent, and the service even better. The friendliness of the gentleman at the bar made me feel less alone. I give it 5 stars: the team, the food, and his warmth deserve a 10 out of 10. I will definitely be back.

A lovely Munich restaurant. We felt very comfortable and the food was delicious.

Delicious roast pork with dark beer gravy, two kinds of dumplings, and coleslaw. The Kaiserschmarrn with plum compote was divine. We stayed for a while and therefore had two different servers, both very friendly and attentive. The owner himself was also very pleasant. Pleasant atmosphere. We liked the tableware. 😀 Thank you for the wonderful time.

A good restaurant with delicious food. The daily specials menu adds some variety. However, the selection of light, healthy dishes is limited. The atmosphere is authentically and comfortably Bavarian. Good service and prices.

Well, what more can one say except "simply brilliant, brilliantly simple"? We were here years ago and nothing had changed: the friendly welcome, making room for the two of us even though the place was packed. The same staff as before, and they would have received our top restaurant award – such a well-coordinated team! Despite a family gathering and a full house, everything was truly on point! The beef broth with semolina dumplings was delicious and hearty, the roast pork juicy with a truly fantastic crackling – the best I've had in Munich and the surrounding area in recent days. My roast beef with onions, cooked to perfection as ordered (medium), with wonderfully crispy onions. I didn't even need the extra steak knife because the meat was so tender. So, in short: I highly recommend this classic inn with its high-quality, simple dishes at exceptionally fair prices – a rare find these days. We felt very comfortable and will definitely be back.

We LOVE it here! The food is consistently excellent! The roast pork is beautifully tender, the onion roast beef is fantastic, and the vegetarian dishes are great too! We love coming here and do so regularly! 😊

A thoroughly enjoyable evening! The Schoberwirt is a quaint Bavarian restaurant with everything you'd expect from a good inn: a warm atmosphere, authentic cuisine, and truly attentive and prompt service. We were there with a larger group, and everyone was thrilled – every plate came out of the kitchen hot and delicious. My personal highlight was the pork roast: tender meat, crispy crust, a truly delicious sauce – just as you'd imagine. I'd particularly like to emphasize the hospitality. Although we stood out as a group of men, we were treated with a naturalness and friendliness that simply felt good. It was palpable that everyone is welcome here – without it even having to be discussed. The price-performance ratio is also good. Absolutely fair for the quality of the food and the pleasant atmosphere. In conclusion: a Bavarian inn you'd want. We'll definitely be back!

Top-notch service, everyone is very friendly and child-friendly! Easy online reservation, and pretzels are placed on your table upon arrival. The food is truly highly recommended, especially the roast beef with onions.

The food and beer were really good. The service was also nothing to complain about! The prices were absolutely reasonable by Munich standards. The only, actually minor, drawback was that a pretzel was provided when we sat down. Even though it was delivered without asking and received as a gift, it was still included in the bill. I'm definitely not concerned about the money here; the pretzel cost maybe €1.90, and it was worth it (as I said, the prices are absolutely reasonable!). We also tipped significantly more than the €1.90; this is explicitly not about the money, but about our principle. But when we politely pointed out to the barman that this practice of hidden costs might be a bit dishonest, we were confronted with the most serious accusations and crude insults. That's absolutely common practice in Munich, and what would we do when things are given away for free, etc.? I've lived in Munich for seven years, and I'm not aware of such a practice.

Three of us visited the Schoberwirt during the week. The place felt quite good, so it was worth making a reservation in advance. We were greeted warmly and shown to our table right away. The ambiance is Bavarian, cozy and rustic, exactly what you'd expect. Drinks and food arrived promptly after ordering. All the food arrived hot, fresh from the kitchen, and tasted consistently excellent. The house beer currently on offer is also very good. The service was unobtrusively friendly throughout the evening, often with a joke. The host himself even asked how we were several times throughout the evening. We would be happy to return and highly recommend it.

The Schoberwirt is for everyone who loves good, classic home cooking and appreciates a cozy get-together. We had a reservation in the beer garden, which is located in the back courtyard and has plenty of space (although I would recommend a reservation for a group of 5 or more). The waiters are very attentive and friendly, always with a lighthearted joke on their lips, which often makes for a good laugh. We ordered meat patties with homemade potato salad, schnitzel with fries, sausage salad, and shashlik skewers. Everything was very good and the portions were more than adequate. The meat patties are especially recommended! The host even came to our table personally to make sure everyone enjoyed their meal – very nice. The ambiance is cozy and rustic, just as you would expect from a good Bavarian restaurant. We will definitely be back!

Good inn. Since the new owner took over the Schoberwirt, the food is once again good and the service is friendly. We were there yesterday with part of our family, including two children. Everything was excellent, and we'll definitely be back.

The food is superior, this is neighbourhood place so if you go in typically high demand times then book. It’s in my neighbourhood so I tried almost everything and they have never faulted. Serves lowenbrau ❤️

A highly recommended Bavarian restaurant in Munich with a cozy little outdoor area. Very pleasant, relaxed, and friendly servers. Excellent food. And they don't close at 9 p.m. like many others do—we arrived at 9:45 p.m. and were able to order hot food. Great, especially in the summer. Thanks, we'll be back!

Super nice host. We wanted to watch the Champions League final. The whole city was packed, but the Schoberwirt was hosting a public viewing. He even set up a screen for our group. Of course, they also served hot meals with generous portions late in the evening, and the service was very friendly. I highly recommend it, 10/10.

Nowhere in Munich could there be room for the UCL final. The boss even set up a giant screen for public viewing in addition to the TV. Of course, there was also hot food. We were extremely surprised and our ranks were filled with applause. Cold beer and absolutely nonchalant hosts. Highly recommended!!!

Great food, great service, great atmosphere, great prices. One of the best inns in Munich.

We arrived late in Munich and walked here from our hotel. Gracious hosts welcomed us, pointed us to English menus, offered some suggestions and allowed us to eat and drink despite winding down for the night. I wanted cheese spaetzle, and theirs was great!! Salad was flavorful, and the Radler was cold and refreshing. €30 for spaetzle and 3 .5L beers. We didn't get to see the beer garden / patio, but they do have outside seating available in addition to inside sesting. Nice introduction to Germany for my counterpart who hadn't visited.

Went to the Schoberwirt with my wife to eat shish kebab, on the recommendation of a friend. Great stuff, you can't get it anywhere else. Also available here only during the Auer Dult. The restaurant isn't near us, but we'll definitely be back. Everything fits here. Thank you👍

I ate my best onion roast here. Kudos to the chef for actually frying the meat medium rare. The service was very friendly. The benches are a bit uncomfortable, they could be improved with one or two seat cushions. The prices are still very fair and I will definitely come back. Price/performance great!

When I walked in, the restaurant was really, really clean. We were assigned to our place - everything went great. Then I wanted to charge my phone and I just did it. I thought to myself: They won't say anything about me charging my cell phone at the socket. Of course my friend said: “Yes, you have to ask first, blah blah blah.” I then asked the waiter when I was already sitting inside. He then said: “Well, you could have asked beforehand.” And then he started arguing with me. He said that would be like me putting my feet on the table or asking him if I was even allowed to do that. That wasn't nice, he said - totally exaggerated, just because I wanted to charge my cell phone a little bit at the socket so that I had a few percent back. I only had 2% battery. We then ordered our food. Yes, then the jumping jack acted around. I have no idea what was wrong with him – a waiter with those round glasses. He behaved like a jumping jack. Did something there. Food was great, very tasty. We had veal schnitzel, my girlfriend had asparagus – it was really delicious. The beer also very good. Note: I was actually charged for the two pretzels I received. It's not enough that they came from the wall of the house. In that case you really have to be careful. Well, we ate everything - it was very tasty, the portion was good, really clean, the toilets were great - everything was perfect. When I wanted to pay, the jumping jack came again. And then he started talking about cell phones again and said something that made me think: "Really? That's not appropriate. Just relax a little." After all, I am a customer. I used to be a restaurateur myself, I know how it works. In any case, big compliments to the other colleagues, the younger waiter also had a lot more experience in his job than this jumping jack - they were really very nice. But this jumping jack was really an outlier among them.

Price performance is still right here. Always nice staff and good food in reasonable portions

5 stars for the Schoberwirt, roast pork is one of the best ever and everything was great. If you are looking for the best Bavarian food in top quality, you have come to the right place. As an Austrian living in Switzerland, my ideal break

The Schoberwirt was high on our list of inns to visit due to its good reviews and central location and our visit was worth it. To get in the mood and look at the menu, we ordered the Löwenbräu Original type that was served in a stein and tasted excellent. Two pretzels were also served with the menu - a very nice service from the house. Everything tasted very good, but of course the Kaiserschmarren was a standout, for which, according to the information on the menu, you have to allow at least 25 minutes of waiting time. A very generous portion arrived, which we shared between the two of us and we took the rest home with us. Finally, a big compliment to the waiter, who served us very nicely and attentively from the first minute.

We visited the Schoberwirt as part of a wedding and were immediately impressed. Typical Bavarian economy, simple and cozy, very friendly staff and good food. From friends' experience, it's better to reserve in advance.

A Bavarian eatery not to be missed! The food is an absolute dream every time! Especially the Kaiserschmarrn for dessert - the portion is so huge that at least two people have to eat it. It really is a mega portion! The host takes excellent care of his guests, which makes the visit even more pleasant. No matter what you order, everything tastes great. I would say that here you get to know Bavarian cuisine in its best, authentic form - no tourist rip-offs like in the city center. Important: Reserve in advance, preferably online, otherwise you could be left without space. Absolutely recommended!

A very stable inn. I eat here regularly. Both in larger groups and in pairs. Sometimes just a (very decent) roast pork, small portion 13.90 large 16.90 after which we play cards and are still welcome. But sometimes it has to be a little more and even then you can rely on the Schonerwirt that it tastes good. Onion roast, asparagus with whitefish I have always been very satisfied. The boss serves himself and provides a pleasant, reserved service! Always my pleasure!

It's Bavarian cozy here and there's good food.

We are always here in Munich for work. Last time we were at Shobabiert and it was simply wonderful. Today we spontaneously decided to come back to Schöber after a long day at work. And once again we are impressed by the quality of the service and food. You should definitely try the schnitzel, which is simply sensational - one of the best we have ever eaten in all of Europe!! Doesn't taste good at all. And too expensive. Unfriendly, rude, just money-gathering. It's not comfortable here at all. Never again.
