Authentic Bavarian cuisine at a very good price, considering its location a bit outside the city center. The ambiance is very traditional, which perfectly complements the atmosphere. The food and beer are extremely delicious, and the service is very friendly.

Eben Augustiner, great food and wonderful service

It was a cold outside and we bumped into this place. Waiters/waitress were nice. We had hot drinks and a homemade Apfelstrudel. The later took a bit of time to arrive at our table but it was still ok.

We were a group of three at this fantastic restaurant. We had a starter, main course, and dessert and were absolutely delighted with both the service and the food. The value for money is excellent. The service was very attentive and efficient. The portions were generous and the food was delicious. We can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return if we are ever in the area again.

It's become quite expensive, and the portions have shrunk. And grumpy waitresses who merely mimic Bavarian grumpiness without any Bavarian charm are simply unfriendly.

Despite having made an online reservation beforehand AND discussed seating arrangements in person, everything changed on the day of our reservation, and we were told to sit at an emergency table in the middle of the room – what was the point of all the prior effort? The service was friendly and efficient – ​​the food was just okay, mediocre at best. The roast pork was at least 50% rind and very little meat, poorly seasoned. The beer sauce was tasteless – we're used to much better from Munich breweries... The Kaiserschmarrn dessert was very good.

It was incredibly loud, so loud you could barely hear yourself think. The food was okay, but far too expensive for the portion size. What shocked me most, however, were the drink prices and the service – I was almost finished eating when the server finally managed to bring me some still water after I asked several times. The 0.7-liter bottle wasn't exactly cheap. But maybe that's normal in Munich? With two drinks, a main course, and a salad, I ended up spending around €40, if I remember correctly.

I was absolutely thrilled with the Neuhauser Augustiner! The service was not only friendly but also very attentive – I truly felt welcome. The food was first-class: fresh, delicious, and served in huge portions, so you definitely won't leave satisfied. I was particularly pleasantly surprised by the fair prices – the value for the quality and quantity is truly excellent. A thoroughly enjoyable evening! I will definitely be back and can highly recommend this restaurant.

Compared to other Augustiner establishments in Munich, this is a local favorite. It's not very touristy, but it's excellent for lunch and dinner. Prices are average, the food is good, and the beers are excellent.

We arrived on a Sunday afternoon, when everything was closed. Just looking at the restaurant, we thought it was a good choice. It seemed very traditional, and the food and service were excellent. I imagine it would be packed during peak season, given its enormous terrace.

Enjoyed the food, not so much the whole situation. Apparently there are two dishes that are comprised of the same basic steak, however the less expensive was far superior in side servings, and still the less appealing was about 33% more expensive. Honestly if felt like they got my dish wrong, but it was easier just to say "it's the same steak in both options" other than correcting the mistake.

A lovely brewery restaurant. Everyone will find a place here: many guests from the neighborhood, families with children, regulars, individuals, and people with disabilities. The waitress cares for her guests with heart and dedication. Not so nice: The scraping of the chairs is really loud. And my roast pork, Saturday at 11:30, was definitely not fresh from the oven.

Welcoming staff, fantastic food, great service. I had the Berlin style liver and it was honestly the best I’ve ever had, taste, texture perfect. Large portion size and great value. Wife has schnitzel, son had the Cordon Bleu schnitzel. Both said they were excellent. Pickled cabbage and potato salad sides were nice but we really didn’t need them. We were really too full for dessert but were convinced (easily) to try the Kaiserschmarrn which we shared between us. A perfect end to the meal, and definitely recommend it! The beers were very nice too. Indoor and outdoor seating, we sat indoors but next to a big open door so perfect for us.

It was very quiet there, the liver "Berliner style" was truly very tender, the roast pork was excellent, and the children's schnitzel was also delicious. There's nothing to complain about, only praise!

Great Bavarian food and beer, pleasant and fast service, but the best thing is the atmosphere of a traditional Bavarian beer hall, you won't experience that anywhere else. In nice weather you can sit in the garden, but it's on the sidewalk facing the street, it would be better somewhere in the courtyard. But otherwise, complete satisfaction.

My wife and I love drinking coffee with desserts and suddenly we had an uncontrollable desire to drink a cup and taste the famous Bavarian apple strudel. We decided to drop into this place because Google recommended it as one of the best in this matter, and besides, it was nearby. The menu said "Homemade lukewarm apple strudel", which is what actually won us over. Although half the tables in the hall were occupied, the waiter still found us a place on the condition that we fit in two and a half hours. The order was brought quickly and just as quickly we were disappointed. The strudel, the size of a pack of cigarettes, was literally floating in some incomprehensible and tasteless liquid. All soggy with a sour apple inside. My wife was even less lucky, in her piece of strudel there were hard particles of apple core, there were at least three of them. The coffee was also disgusting. I drank it black without sugar and milk. Terribly sour. A few words about the atmosphere in the hall. The establishment looks nice, is located on a quiet street. The waiters are dressed beautifully, but... We were sitting between tables, where on one side there was a young couple with a stroller and a crying child, and on the other side there was a mother with a child with a school bag. I admit, I was embarrassed to go to a beer hall for coffee and strudel at five in the evening, but I certainly didn't expect to end up in McDonald's. One more thing. The door to the tables outside was open, where people were smoking and the smoke was drawn into the room.

Large Wirtshaus with a lovely beer garden and efficient service. The Fleischpflanzerl with rich dark sauce and tangy potato salad was delicious, and the schnitzel was perfectly fried. The star, however, was the Kaiserschmarrn: caramelized and crispy outside, fluffy inside, loaded with almonds and raisins, served with refreshing apple mousse. Great quality at very fair Munich prices!

A truly wonderful restaurant, which in our case was especially noticeable due to the super friendly service. The food was fresh and excellent. The ambiance was just right for a brewery, and the surroundings, with its proximity to the Olympic Park, were perfect for walking.

Good, tasty food, but unfortunately, the wait times at lunch are very long (approx. 45 minutes). Update a few years later: I love coming here again and again, and it's really great – very good food and the service is also very friendly.
