Absolute Touri-Falle. Bier 5,50€; Aperol 10€. Aber das i-Tüpfelchen ist: Selbstbedienung und dann wollen sie über das Kartenterminal noch Trinkgeld. Als Heidelberger schäme ich mich für sowas. Keine Empfehlung!

Das Essen war nichts Besonderes, aber auch nicht schlecht. Die Preise sind etwas hoch, vor allem für eine so touristische Gegend. Allerdings fehlt es dem Personal eindeutig an Professionalität und Freundlichkeit! Kein Lächeln, kein Hallo, kein Dankeschön, nichts … Jemand hat uns sogar wortlos die Teller weggenommen, aus denen wir gerade unsere Pommes aufgetunkt hatten, als ob sich die Kühe an unserem Essen bedienen würden. Ich habe selten so emotionslose und unfreundliche Menschen erlebt. Und seufzen bringt ja auch nichts, wenn sie kein Trinkgeld geben. Absolut unprofessionell … Bloß weg hier!

Extrem langsamer Service. Man wartet Ewigkeiten um zwei Eis zu bezahlen. Preislich übertrieben hoch. Mitarbeiter unfreundlich. Nicht zu empfehlen. 👎

5€ für ein Getränk. Beim Schloss Neuschwanstein kostet sofwas 3,50€. Dann evig warten. Hatte das Gefühl das erst der eine Kunde der auf sein Essen wartet solange auch alle anderen warten müssen. Dann Ameisen an der Slush Maschine. Und bei der Bezahlung wird ein Trinkgeldmenü angezeigt was extra abgelehnt werden muss. Das nächste Mal besser selber was mitbringen.

Pommes kalt, Bratwurst kalt. Personal schafft sich nicht zu merken, dass auch noch etwas zu Trinken bestellt wurde ( es war nicht voll).

Absolute Abzocke der Touristen!!!! Dass Lebensmittel in touristischen Attraktionen etwas teurer sind, ist normal. Dass aber 0,5 Liter Wasser 4,75€ kosten, ist absolute Frechheit. Nehmen sie lieber ausreichend Getränke und Essen mit.

Ich war total hungrig und wollte eigentlich in der Stadt essen gehen, bin dann aber doch in diesem Laden gelandet. Die Wurst war widerlich, definitiv kein Rind- oder Schweinefleisch, sondern billiges Hühnerfleisch, und leider auch noch total geschmacklos. Die Pommes waren die widerlichsten, die ich je gegessen habe. Ich wusste gar nicht, dass Pommes so geschmacklos sein können. Statt Mayonnaise gab es da so ein billiges Zeug. Ich weiß, was Mayonnaise ist, und das war definitiv keine Mayonnaise … Schrecklich. An der Kasse hieß es dann, ich könne Trinkgeld geben. Ich musste den Betrag auf dem Bildschirm auswählen … Leider spreche ich kein Deutsch und konnte nicht ablehnen. Ich habe noch nie erlebt, dass man in Europa für Essen zum Mitnehmen Trinkgeld verlangt. Unfassbar! Ich kann diesen Laden absolut niemandem empfehlen!!! Wenn ihr wirklich Hunger habt, holt euch lieber Eis in der Originalverpackung!

Wir hatten zwei teure Getränke. Wir zahlten fünf Euro Pfand, weil wir aus einem Glas trinken wollten, und bekamen hinterher nur drei Euro zurück. Der Besitzer ist ein unverschämter Kerl, der seine Kunden gleich doppelt abzockt. Und dann hat er auch noch die Frechheit, einem ein Kartenlesegerät mit Trinkgeldoptionen direkt vor die Nase zu halten, wo die Option „Kein Trinkgeld“ kaum zu sehen ist. Unfassbar dreist!

Die Preise sind leider völlig überzogen. Für eine kleine Wasserflasche 4,50 € zu verlangen, halte ich für nicht angemessen. Natürlich ist das Heidelberger Schloss eine bekannte Touristenattraktion, aber solche Preise wirken eher wie Touristenabzocke als ein fair kalkuliertes Angebot. Schade, denn ein Besuch sollte nicht durch das Gefühl getrübt werden, bei einfachen Getränken übermäßig zur Kasse gebeten zu werden. Etwas mehr Preisfairness gegenüber den Besuchern wäre wünschenswert.

Leider sehr unfreundliches Personal, total genervt und überfordert. Die Currywurst war in Ordnung, aber man fühlt sich nur abgespeist und abgefertigt. Das Preise an solchen Orten hoch sind, ist klar, aber das ist selbst für ein Schloss deutlich überteuert

Der Mann an der Kasse ist extrem unfreundlich und hat gar keinen Bock. Die Preise sind auch zu hoch.

Das ist keine Empfehlung für dein Budget und dein Ambiente. Ich meine das ernst, Kumpel.

Dafür, dass dort tausende Menschen zu Besuch kommen, sind die Preise unverschämt. Wir wollten eigentlich gerne was verzehren, aber das war absolute Abzocke!

Ich würde am liebsten 0 sterne geben... Da wäre MC Donalds gescheiter gewesen. Ein Wiener Schnitzel 14,90€ , das Schnitzel hat nichts mit einem Schnitzel zu tun gehabt und die Pommes haben auch sehr bescheiden geschmeckt. Und es gab nur Fastfood zu Auswahl...Echt schade .

Espresso aus der Maschine für 3,80 ist frech. Weder Löffel, noch Keks, noch Wasser dazu. Letzteres muss man kaufen in Plastik Flasche. Frech.

Ich kann die negativen Bewertungen hier nicht nachvollziehen. Das Ambiente ist natürlich toll, direkt vom Schloss und wer hier erwartet, dass man eine Limo zum Supermarkt Preis bekommt, hat irgendwas nicht verstanden. Für uns waren die Preise für diesen Spot absolut okay, geringer als erwartet. Wir würden hier wieder einen Snack nehmen.

Für eine 0,5 l Flasche stilles Wasser und eine 0,5 l Pepsi einfach 10,50 € bezahlt ! Dazu möchten sie auch noch Trinkgeld haben, an Unverschämtheit kaum zu überbieten 🙄

Die Tagessuppe war OK. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön. Wenn man mit Karte zahlt, erscheint eine Aufforderung, Trinkgeld zu geben. Dabei ist der Button „Kein Trinkgeld“ deutlich kleiner und kaum auffällig – also aufgepasst! :D Für die Selbstabholung finde ich es schon frech, überhaupt nach Trinkgeld zu fragen.

Das Ambiente ist toll, alles andere leider nicht. Die Preise sind extrem. Eine 0,5 Liter Flasche Wasser für über 4 Euro. Da bin ich bei ner Tanke noch billiger. Ewig angestanden und dann wurde man nicht mal freundlich bedient. Im Gegenteil da wurden Mitarbeiter vor den Gästen "zur Sau" gemacht und das wurde so an die Gäste weitergegeben. Freundlichkeit absolut nicht vorhanden. Wir werden es das nächste Mal meiden.. Nicht zu empfehlen.

Wie schon viele hier geschrieben haben, war der Kundenservice dieses einen Typen einfach nur grauenhaft. Er hat unsere Bestellung ignoriert, meine Brezel fallen lassen und dabei hämisch gegrinst. Die drei Minuten mit ihm haben meinen Besuch im Restaurant wirklich ruiniert. Das Essen ist unterdurchschnittlich, aber der Service ist einfach nur furchtbar. Er muss der Besitzer sein, wenn er trotz all der Beschwerden immer noch da ist. Falls Sie das hier lesen: Bitte arbeiten Sie nicht in einem Café, wenn Sie so genervt von Menschen sind. Und bitte entfernen Sie die Trinkgeld-Option an der Kasse, wenn Sie nicht sarkastisch sein wollen.

Ich kann es nicht fassen, dass ein Lokal in so bester Lage, direkt neben dem Heidelberger Schloss, so einen Glühwein serviert. Er war alkoholfrei und schien aus irgendeinem Pulver zubereitet zu sein. Das Ganze wirkt wie eine Touristenfalle. Hoffentlich bessern sie ihren Service, denn die Lage und die Einrichtung sind fantastisch.

I didn't order anything to drink or eat, as the sign indicating card payments only, contactless payment, was enough for me. I don't want to pay that way; I'd prefer to pay with cash, and if that's not possible, then I'll just do without 🤷‍♀️. Besides, the price of over €5 for a latte macchiato was too high for me anyway. Otherwise, the little red-brick bistro was very pretty.

A cafe that serves drinks and some snacks

I paid €11 for two mulled wines in paper cups. A 0.5l bottle of water would have cost €4.75. The service consisted of scrutinizing glances and sneering smiles. While it's an option, it's generally not advisable to support such a business and perhaps give other owners a chance with this lovely location.

The soup of the day was lukewarm and tasteless. Prices were exorbitant; it's a shame that tourists are ripped off like this here.

Absolutely disgusting place. Prices are way too high. Currywurst and nuggets were cold, only the fries were hot. The menu offers beef sausage, but the cashier gave a rude reply that it wasn't available, but there were grilled sausages in the display. A 💯 successful conversion has resulted in one modern self-service restaurant within historic walls. Rationally designed operating processes guarantee that there are almost no waiting times. We were there on a Saturday when the weather was nice at around 12.15 p.m. and there were a corresponding number of visitors. The boss personally took our orders at the counter and immediately forwarded them to the kitchen. You can choose your own bottled drinks from the well-stocked cooling shelf and 🍺 Draft beer is available at the counter. We had the pasta with Mediterranean vegetable sauce, the pasta with Bolognese sauce and parmesan, some also had the currywurst with fries. Everything was freshly prepared and hot! Everyone was very satisfied with the quality and taste of the food and the size of the portions. ! Reasonable price/performance ratio!!! Staff including boss very polite and accommodating. 👍 🚾 absolutely clean, therefore 💯 points.

Ordered potato soup. Unfortunately it was only lukewarm and didn't taste good. The supper tasted very sour, as if it were bad. The soup was also very watery. I come from a tourist town where such a lease would have been terminated by the city long ago. Of course it is primarily the fault of the staff, but also that of the tenant and also that of the city! I'm there right now, ordered currywurst with fries, first of all the waiting time is too long, then the housekeeping isn't done properly because the fries were constantly empty. The sausage tastes really bad, the sauce was ok and fries are fine. Prices are definitely too expensive, a 0.5 liter Pepsi costs 4.15 euros + 0.25 deposit, the currywurst with fries costs 8.90 euros. For this very poor quality of sausage, 8.90 is far too expensive! Not recommended, prefer to eat something down in town.

I must have had a pretty good day if I read the other reviews regarding service. For me it happened very quickly; it even went hand in hand between the service staff. Friendliness, well, was still relatively good. I ordered currywurst with fries and found €7.20 to be borderline outrageous. The fries (kept warm) were still tasty, the curry sauce was pleasantly spicy but unfortunately lukewarm. And the sausage... Well... The sausage, or rather sausages, because I had a mixture of different sausages, were already cut in the curry sauce and were lukewarm and not a highlight in terms of taste. I would also have expected a little more sausage for this price. All in all, I would say that there wasn't even a whole sausage in my bowl.
