Super delicious food, attentive team, great ambience!

Great food, great service, especially Yassmina!

It was our first time at this restaurant and we were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful decor. The ambience was really inviting. However, there were some drawbacks: There is no air conditioning, which made the stay a bit uncomfortable, especially in warm weather. We also had to wait almost an hour for our food, which was disappointing. Despite the wait, the food was delicious in the end, but the long wait and lack of air conditioning put a bit of a damper on the overall experience. I hope these points will be improved in the future!

Extremely disappointed with this place! We asked for our wedding here. After we discussed everything on site and received a verbal commitment, all of the agreements were not kept by those responsible. A written contract was not sent as discussed and we were told on the phone for three weeks that we were in a meeting and would call back. There was never a call back or any other statement. It's a disgrace that you treat potential customers like this and simply leave them in the dark. Absolutely unprofessional and unfair!!!

The ambience is really nice and the food was quite good. Price-performance ratio is rather high. Unfortunately it wasn't possible to pay by card, we happened to have cash with us. Big minus: The really unprofessional service, which really made the evening stressful. Unfortunately for us a reason not to come back.

I made a reservation for a group of 20 people. The reception was very friendly. I found the atmosphere very good. The employees Celina and Gandom served and welcomed us very friendly. We had a great evening and will definitely come back.

Your kindness and professionalism made my visit a truly pleasant experience. It's great to see how dedicated employees like her help guests feel welcome and looked after. The menu offers a good selection and our food was fresh, tasty and came quickly. I particularly liked the pleasant atmosphere – cozy but modern. Price-performance ratio definitely fits here. The ambience was great! Really nice location! The evening we were there for dinner there was a cash outage. This did not initially affect us. The waitress quickly came to our place (8 people) and the drinks were quickly given out. The food was ordered straight away and arrived in a reasonable time, so 7 out of 8 meals. One of us had to wait another 5 minutes for her pasta with tomato sauce and grilled vegetables. The dish has two different types of pasta, which would have been okay if both had been cooked properly. Unfortunately the sauce was a bit too spicy. When we were clearing away the waitress asked us if she should make a new portion - we politely declined. We could pay by card, but you had to have your savings bank card with you, for example, because you had to insert it and it couldn't be done digitally from your cell phone. Luckily I had cash with me. When I didn't tip, the waitress complained to her colleague in Turkish that we weren't tipping. Since my girlfriend speaks Turkish, we noticed that. If we had read the reviews we would definitely have looked for another restaurant. It's a shame about the beautiful atmosphere!!

Beautiful place, but unacceptable restaurant policy...those who sit without a table reservation are second-rate customers...the restaurant deals mainly and on a priority basis only with customers who have made a reservation...that is, who sits down and orders even after 15' seat customers with reservation...those who came after you should eat first and you will wait maybe an hour ..until you eat....not allowed...they should just inform the customers from the beginning about it....

If we had read the reviews beforehand... We had reserved and although there would have been enough space outside, they couldn't provide us with tables outside when we asked. The food (8 people) came very delayed and also quite late. We had reserved and there weren't that many people there overall. Overall, the food was “okay”. The nachos were missing a dip, the “Florence” pasta was spicy, even though that wasn’t on the menu. The “unusual cocktails” are not cocktails, but aperitifs. The service was virtually non-existent and not particularly friendly. But the absolute highlight was when the service staff complained to each other that we hadn't given a tip. It's stupid that I speak Turkish and understood that. But just ask yourself why you didn’t get a tip. Absolutely a shame about the beautiful atmosphere.

We've been there twice already. The food is great!! Unfortunately the service wasn't at the same level. We were the only table inside and there were 3 others outside, two of them only with drinks. The two waitresses were mostly on their cell phones and I had to ask for my drink after a long time. It's a shame. They don't like cleaning the tables either.

Wir sind schon zwei mal da gewesen. Das Essen ist top!! Die Bedienung leider nicht auf dem gleichen Niveau.. Wir waren die einzigeTisch drinnen und draußen waren 3 andere, zwei davon nur mit Getränken. Die zwei Kellnerinen waren meistens am Handy und ich musste nach einer langen Zeit nach meinem Getränk fragen..Schade..Die Tische werden auch nicht so gerne geputzt.

We found out about the restaurant via Instagram. It was there as a recommendation. If only we had read the reviews on Google beforehand... The service was just as described by others, sluggish and unmotivated. We ordered food, not everything as described on the menu, and drinks at the same time. At the next table we noticed that everything was taking a little longer and, in addition to the apology that the chef was tired, they were offered a drink on the house. So after the first impression, which wasn't all that positive, we were excited. After about 15 minutes, the wheat we ordered (because there wasn't any light beer available) arrived as a pilsner in glasses that weren't clean. We had to wait another half hour for our food (two identical burgers). The burger consisted of far too much garlic sauce, store-bought hummus and buns, over-salted grilled vegetables and, culminating in a dry falafel that had been in the waffle iron for too long. The whole thing was framed carelessly by a few tortilla chips. Apart from bringing the drinks and food, there were no further questions about satisfaction or anything similar. As I said, service is actually non-existent. Not even the fact that we left the beer almost untouched and only ate half of one burger... After we were finished, we sat there for a moment and then just went in to pay. And all this with a not very full restaurant and two waiters! It's a shame for the beautiful location, but the question is how a restaurant can survive like this.

The ambience is really nice. A little background music would be nice. But unfortunately that's all that's good. Pretty sleepy service. You didn't exactly feel welcome. No salads or burgers that day, was the first statement. Strangely enough, another guest who arrived a long time after us was served a burger. Our order also seemed to have been forgotten or something was prepared incorrectly. That can happen and with a little apology it wouldn't have been a problem for us. The excuse for the long wait (almost an hour for a simple pasta dish) was that everything is freshly prepared. What happened next was quite a disappointment. It didn't exactly taste bad and "served the purpose (being halfway full)", but the so-called "truffle porcini mushroom cream sauce" was a joke. A puddle of cream in which Parmesan apparently simply dissolved and turned into a greasy mess. There was no hint of mushroom or truffle taste, very few mushrooms and you had to look for the parsley mentioned. Any inexperienced novice cook could do this better. It still upsets me days later. Demanding 17.50 euros for something like that is an imposition. In combination with the boring service, absolutely not recommended. It's a shame, given the beautiful location.

Service lame. Cake dry and water warm. Food didn't come for half an hour, then it was revealed to us that the chef was here and whether we still wanted the food. This is how you can alienate your guests...

We arrived at 8:50pm just to have a drink | we communicated the same way. Opening times are until 10 p.m. Then the waitress says, “Well, we have a lot to do, probably not. Most of the guests have been sitting there for two hours. We’re doing the final round now.” What’s the point? The store was full so it didn't look like they were closing any time soon. Ridiculous!

Da der Spielplatz den Kindern gefiel und alle Hunger hatten wollten wir im „Nebenan“ etwas essen— nichts kompliziertes- Kinder 3x Spagetti mit Tomatensoße. Vom Bestellen bis zum Essen dauerte es 2Std. trotz 2x freundlicher Nachfrage. Gott sei Dank konnten die Kinder auf dem Spielplatz sich die Zeit vertreiben. Das Essen war ok, der vegane Burger (Falafel-waffel) hätte mit mehr Salat o Rohkost besser geschmeckt , die Natchos waren mir viel zu viel, aber schmeckten den Kindern. Die Kinder wurden satt und es schmeckte. Der Salat mit einer Falafel-Waffel war auch ok. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und gab für die Kinder noch eine Flasche Wasser ohne Berechnung. Schade!

Ambiance is nice, food okay, but service leaves a lot to be desired. Waited 15 minutes before you could place your drink order (5 tables were occupied, 3 service staff were active). The waitress preferred to talk about how to get decorations to light up (and didn't respond to our questions, even though we were sitting right next to them)… Ambience otherwise really good, service should be taught how to “sell”.

Beautiful location with the best service staff Melina and Yassmina - we had a family brunch event and were thoroughly pampered by both of them, great service, fast, helpful, attentive. We'd love to come back!

We recently had a birthday party next door and absolutely loved it. The service, food and communication was perfect. In particular, the two waitresses, Yassmina and Melina, ensured that we were able to celebrate so relaxed.

It's a shame - nice atmosphere but poorly trained staff. The suggestion that the various missing allergen information should be added to the next revision of the menu was dismissed with very unprofessional whispers behind the counter: "It's clear anyway that bread, pasta, couscous contain gluten..." No, that's not clear , there are professional restaurants that can also offer gluten-free options. So there is a lack of confidence that hidden allergens have been fully declared. The staff is obviously not taking the issue seriously.

Netter Service, aber das Essen war leider sehr basic und in Anbetracht des Preises viel zu teuer. Den Salat mache ich zu Hause besser. Völlig unpassendes, noch nicht mal richtig frisches Roggenbrot dazu. Die drei Sterne sind nur für die nette Bedienung und das hübsche Interieur. Nicht für das Essen. Hinzu kommen lange Wartezeiten, haben Kollegen öfter erlebt. Schade.

We had a wonderful evening with a glass of wine surrounded by a great location and served by the sweet darling Yassmina, keep it up!

Top location, very nice and attentive service, not a long waiting time and the food is good too

We were there last Sunday with a reservation for 20 people. Unfortunately the staff wasn't very motivated and it was very chaotic. Unfortunately, we waited over an hour for our food and it arrived so late that the first ones were already ready and the last ones didn't even have their food yet. I think if you have pasta dishes on the menu you can't charge extra for the parmesan. I find this outrageous. The burger was good, the pasta was partly ok. The atmosphere is great and especially for those traveling with children it was great with the beautiful playground right next to it. I cannot recommend it for larger groups. I won't even give them a chance in a small group. But all in all not a nice day. Especially because we had a birthday child in the group.

This restaurant is the most beautiful in Heidelberg. If you are in Heidelberg or even just nearby, visit next door. The service is great Yassmin and Yassmina are both wonderful workers in the store. The food, the hygiene, the vibe, the good mood here is simply attractive.

The service was great, people inquired well about us. The food was sensational! The pasta was perfectly seasoned and really special. Gladly again :)

The waitress was not informed about their own dishes and was slow. It is listed on the Internet that there is a breakfast menu. We were then told on site that there would be no breakfast. After we had picked out the main courses, we were told that there was no lunch menu yet. We had specifically reserved seats for brunch. Overall a very bad experience, I can definitely not recommend the store. Apart from that, vegetarian and dairy-free dishes were explicitly ordered, but they turned out to be non-vegetarian and contain milk. You might be able to stop by the store for a coffee to go, but not for anything more.

A separate menu for breakfast, as stated, does not exist. Service was disorganized. For breakfast we first had to ask if it was available today. In the end you had to pay €10 for 2 eggs and a few vegetables. In general I wouldn't go there again, especially not for breakfast. In addition, after having to specifically ask about breakfast and being told that it wasn't actually available, the main courses were also described as not possible before 12.

Caution! We had already planned our wedding here. A personal meeting with the owner took place and a written offer was signed. We had already sent out our invitations. The owner then canceled on us with a cheap excuse (renovation work). He then agreed to another couple, presumably to earn more with more guests. Very bad management.

Nice ambience, but the service unfortunately left a completely overwhelmed impression - given that the restaurant was only moderately busy on a Sunday afternoon. After waiting for 45 minutes, we found out - upon request - that our pasta dishes were not being prepared and we then said goodbye...

Beautiful location actually, but the last few times I was there the service staff behaved very unprofessionally. They stood listlessly behind the counter, busy with their own conversations. I had the feeling that I was not wanted as a guest and was more of a nuisance. It's very nice outside on the terrace, but the prices are a bit too high.

Very nicely decorated cafe with a suitable atmosphere. The menu also looked very appealing. If we had liked to try it, we would have been served. Left after 30 minutes.

Super nice atmosphere - really stylishly furnished. The service was also friendly, but not really trained. We ordered a burger and a salad. I quickly realized that there was lettuce on my burger that tasted bitter and took it off the burger. We were horrified to discover that the salad consisted entirely of bitter-tasting bagged lettuce. We couldn't eat it and had it returned almost untouched - there was no question as to whether anything was wrong. So we talked about it, but it wasn't discussed further - a shame. The rest of the burger was good. But we wouldn't come back - it's a shame, because the restaurant really has a lot of potential.

Unfortunately we were very disappointed with the food. The pasta was overcooked, there was no trace of truffles and the Egerling Carpaccio had three tiny pieces of mushrooms stuck between the pasta. You can expect more when it comes to the description of the dishes and especially the prices.

Service very good and above all friendly. The ambience probably stands out the most here. Very very nice. Unfortunately, I'm sticking with the food at 4. In my opinion, the taste could simply be spicier. Not that it was completely bland, but more is possible. And what's more, the prices are quite steep, even for vegan/vegetarian options.

It looked nice from the pictures. After we reserved and set down, we had to wait 25 minutes to order our drinks. Interesting it took that long since two tables were occupied, and the server didn't bother to carry more than 1 item at a time. When we got our drinks after 30 minutes and had finally ordered 1 salad and a vegan burger we had to wait yet again for atleast 45 minutes. The food was bland and we left very unsatisfied.

Sometimes I walk past the shop and wonder: why is it so empty - it's in a great location and looks nicely decorated. Today I understood again why. The good thing first: the waitress usually ignores you when you sit outside, so you don't go bankrupt with lukewarm bottled beer when the bill comes. If you get a small Krombacher half-warm again after 30 minutes, it won't even be poured, you have to do it yourself. For 4.20 per 0.33 bottle it is clear that you can do it all yourself. From the balcony you can already see the next gas station, they have the same thing for half the price, with the right temperature and nice service ;)

We discovered the restaurant through the Schlemmerblock. More suitable for vegetarians. My Nice salad was good and plentiful. But some bread with it would have been good. We knew that there was no draft beer but unfortunately there was no normal 0.5 liter beer either but only a small glass of 0.3 which was actually supposed to be a bottle of 0.33 (not cheap) But the atmosphere is very nice there

I am currently in your restaurant on the recommendation of my friend... I have to honestly say that I am amazed by your service! Very nice and cultured girls (Marie and Chiara) , kudos to her! I haven't been entertained like this in a long time, it just feels like home.

We were there as a family trip, the location is perfect and child-friendly, right next to the playground. As a parent you can relax there. The restaurant was full, the food took a long time but was ok. Unfortunately, I had such a bad feeling after this visit that I missed the afternoon. That was a real shame. We had our gourmet block with us and it wasn't noted when we ordered, but we said so. This was not taken into account in the checkout and had to pay the full amount. When I wanted to start a conversation about the topic, after some discussion, the man in the cash register answered me in an unfriendly way, handed me €5 from the cash register and said that a customer like me didn't need it there. I felt so attacked. Nice location but I certainly won't go there again as long as the owner doesn't change. Tip: If you go there with a gourmet block, you have to say this several times.

Great restaurant with stylish furnishings and a nice ambience. Super nice employees. In addition to a lovely smile, Aho in particular also has great tips for Heidelberg! The salads are mega! Great portions, something different and new that I haven't gotten anywhere else. A little too much dressing and the falafel was slightly too hard on one side, so only 4/5 for the meal. But it didn't bother me, it was still a dream! Conclusion: Go there! It's worth it ✨

Far below average food, unfortunately, the side salad was loveless with cheap, disgusting-tasting ready-made dip. I didn't even try the "No Name" wine for 7.20/0.2 (!). Service nice, but slow. After about 15 minutes the order is taken (if there are few guests!). Another 15 minutes pass until the beer comes out - without foam, looks like apple spritzer. Never again!!

The entrance door via the terrace is extremely difficult to open. There is no hot chocolate in stock and the staff don't know what cakes they have.

The ambience is really nice and stylish, but unfortunately the food is subpar and completely overpriced. We were the only guests at lunchtime - that says a lot... There was ready-made salad (looked very expired - inedible and sour) from an XXL metro bag (which was shown to us), chili con carne sauce from a large Tupperware bowl heated in the pan, which had nothing to do with cooking, and a few noodles on the side . All the fun for just under €50 - never again. The nice waiter asked me if I expected you to cook fresh and prepare fresh salad, then we left.
