Sausalitos in Garmisch-Partenkirchen

I've never experienced a less friendly boss, even if the food is good I won't be a guest here. No kind words, no hello, condescending when asked if you could use the toilet.

Nice restaurant and ambience, simple but good selection on the menu. Together with the Mexican restaurant. Very friendly service team. What I also thought was great was the chef came and asked if everything was okay.

The old guy behind the bar with a cap and gray hair (probably the boss) is incredibly rude and unprofessional. Rarely experienced. Worst location in GAP

Not only are the plates big here, but also the portions!!! The staff is very polite and accommodating. The chef went from table to table and asked if the guests enjoyed their meal. Price-performance ratio is 100% Definitely recommended!!!

It's a shame there aren't more stars. Maybe even the best Mexican I've ever eaten. Mega cocktails and great staff...really awesome...recommendation!!

Went to Sabroso yesterday, the food was tasteless and the cocktails were watery. The waiter was extremely slow even though there were hardly any guests there. Sausalitos has been a thousand times better. Not recommended

Our experience at Sabroso, unfortunately, mirrored that of many other diners: the service was disappointingly slow. It took 40 minutes to receive our starter of nachos, and the burritos followed only a few minutes later. This was only after a waitress noticed our frustration. This is a stark contrast to our past experiences at Sausalitos, where service was notably quicker. The quality of the food has noticeably declined from what we used to enjoy at Sausalitos. The burritos lacked the necessary seasoning, with the chicken in one of the burritos being particularly dry. Overall, the dishes were underwhelming and did not meet our expectations for flavor or quality. The atmosphere of the restaurant remains pleasant, but the slow service significantly detracted from our dining experience. Having been regulars at Sausalitos, we had high hopes for Sabroso. Unfortunately, the transition has not been favorable, with both the service and food quality failing to live up to the previous standards. This experience has led us to reconsider our options for Mexican cuisine in the area, as the current offering at Sabroso was disappointing, particularly for a special occasion like a birthday celebration. We find ourselves nostalgic for the Sausalitos of old and on the lookout for new dining alternatives.

What happened to this restaurant? The restaurant wasn’t crowded (since the other dining room was closed and several tables were empty), but the service was quite hard to call good, despite the waitress' efforts. Our order took more than 40 minutes to arrive: we ordered nachos with guacamole and two burritos. The nachos alone took 40 minutes to come out. We thought the hot dishes would follow shortly, but they took a bit longer. When the food finally arrived, I was expecting to eat something juicy and flavorful like it used to be at Sausalitos (and how real Mexican food is), but what I got was dry chicken, bland sauces, and tasteless food. I had high expectations, thinking it would be the same as before, but the experience was far from pleasant. It's a shame, especially since it’s the only one in town :(

Long waiting time. Service and waiters always slipped.

Very nice looking place with great staff. The food seems limited on the authentic Mexican cuisine. Lots of burgers and beer (feels American almost) and German twists thrown in, like potato fries instead of tortilla chips. Our fajita meat was chewy.. but the mojitos were EXCELLENT. The food was expensive for the flavor.

Best Mexican restaurant I know in Munich and the surrounding area! Service is always friendly and nice, the food is impeccable and the selection of cocktails leaves nothing to be desired. Also a large selection of Virigin Drinks!

The restaurant has changed its name, but the staff is still friendly and attentive. Vouchers from the voucher book will continue to be redeemed. Food rich and very tasty.

Nothing out of the ordinary, food is okay, my iced tea was very sweet (guava). In terms of service, it's certainly better here than today, but it's also Monday 😉

O my god! Everyone should visit this place. Service, cocktails, food and mood, everything is great.

We travel a lot, had food in a lot of different places, but here, it is like every bite is amazing. No, really! It is sad we are leaveng tomorrow. I will add this place to my travel spots. And the service is like in heaven!

Definitely overrated on Google. Food under-seasoned and served lukewarm

Not even worth a star. The owner acts like he owns the whole street. We were asked to go inside because we weren't allowed to sit outside with our drinks. We said very nicely that we would go in straight away, but then the owner himself came over after about a minute and told us that he owned the shop and that we had to do what he said. Humanity and friendliness should still prevail but the owner hasn't learned that. The waitress and barman were very nice. But the owner is simply disgraceful. The guy is so arrogant. No wonder there is so little going on there

Ok…. I’m from Texas and I’d rival this against ANY other Mexican joint where I’m from. The food is spectacular. Drinks are cold. Service is outstanding and the views of the town are amazing. Don’t walk past this joint.

No map in German, which is very difficult when you have to translate the map to school children. It's a shame that we're still in Germany. Value for money, a bit too expensive. Unfortunately, service didn't come after the meal. Had empty drinks, unfortunately no one was interested. Then we paid and went somewhere else to drink. We celebrated a bachelorette farewell here and it was very nice. It's a spacious, cozy place. There was music playing in the background and the volume was just right - so you could still have a conversation. We sat comfortably in a corner by the window. Drinks 🍹🍹 and food 🌮🌯 were very tasty and the service was great! Very friendly so you felt welcome. There was also a little something extra for the bride and our group. I can only give my recommendation! Thank you for a nice evening! 💛

Sausalitos at the train station in Garmisch, were there to redeem a voucher, which was accepted without any problems. The food was mediocre and the service was a bit chaotic but very nice.

Amazing food but the payment spoilt it for us. We were charged wrongly which was sorted out later by the co-operative owner. Note: Make sure you double check your bill properly for the items you ordered if they match.

Been here 6 months back. Great food. Had gone there with family. We were a group of 8 people and had ordered quiet a few dishes and drinks. Everything that we ordered was really yum. Gave low ratings because the waiter who took our orders over charged us.Probably took advantage of us being a big group and didn't even bother giving us a bill. We realised this and asked him for a bill he gave some lame excuses about the system being down and unable to print the bill. He also lied about sending the bill to our email adresses, but we never received it. We let it go as we had family with us. Came to know about a similar incident that happened with another friend of ours. Don't know if this is a pattern or just a coincidence. But incident needed to be highlighted.

Amazing food, with vegetarian options. The order arrived fast and with great taste and quality. I have been to other sausalitos branches, but this one is my favourite. dont miss the dessert brownie, its perfect way to end your dinner.

Enjoyed Sausalito's so much my friends and I went back 3 days in a row. It has a great vibe—lively in the evening but not to busy, a perfect place to catch up with friends. The cocktails were so good—seriously, top-notch. I had one of the burgers and tacos (not on the same night :)), both were delicious. The bar staff were always friendly and chatty. Even providing an awesome recommendations on where to go to get Lederhosen for our trip to Oktoberfest! We'll be back next time we're in Garmisch.

Es ist nicht nur ein " Restaurant", man kann gut essen , es gibt eine große Auswahl an Getränken von Bier bis Cocktails. Das Personal ist sehr nett und freundlich auch das Essen kommt schnell. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Bedienung nett, Essen und Getränke kamen schnell. Essen leider kalt. Burgerfleisch absolut ungewürzt und kalt. Salat und Käse von sehr günstiger Qualität. Was mich am meisten enttäuscht hat, dass zum Essen Billigpommes gereicht wurden. Nicht wie wir erwartet haben handgemachte oder wenigstens hochwertigere Pommes. Für uns war das Nichts wir haben bessere Qualität erwartet.

Das Essen war grandios, die Bedienungen haben sowohl bei der Cocktail-Wahl und auch bei der Essenbestellung super toll beraten und geduldig und ausführlich meine Fragen beantwortet. Wir können es nur weiterempfehlen und geben gerne 5 Sterne.

Ein zentral gelegenes Sausalitos am Bahnhof von Garmisch - Partenkirchen. Insofern ist der Außenbereich vom Ambiente nicht so schön. Speis und Trank sind top. Das Servicepersonal ist sehr freundlich. Insgesamt kann man sagen: empfehlenswert!

Das Essen war schon in Ordnung, wobei an dem Abend der Eindruck entstand Sour Creme, Parmesan und ein paar andere Zutaten seien der Küche ausgegangen, denn sie fehlten bei unseren Bestellungen obwohl sie auf der Karte standen. Auf Nachfrage bei der Kellnerin erklärte sie uns zB der Kartoffel Rösti auf unserem Mais Fladen sei die Zutat die in der Karte als veganer Meatball betitelt war. Bei dem Preis für die 7 Fladen, hätte ich gerne auch die in der Karte beschriebene Auswahl bekommen und nicht im Prinzip auf 3 Fladen das gleiche. Haben uns daraufhin irgendwie ein bisschen hintergangen gefühlt. Als dann der Barchef auch noch anfing seine offensichtlich neue, bemühte, freundliche und junge Kollegin draußen vor sämtlichen Gästen vorzuführen ist mir der Spaß vergangen. Keine schöne Atmosphäre.

Lekker eten met voldoende vegetarische opties en ruime porties met een zeer ruime keuze in drankjes en super vriendelijke serveersters.

Eigentlich sind wir in das Restaurant nur gegangen, weil es nahe zu unserer Ferienwohnung lag. Wir waren dann positiv überrascht, denn das essen war lecker und die Cocktails gut.

Die Portionen waren riesig, man hat für den Preis also einiges bekommen - allerdings war die Qualität eher mittelmäßig und meine Bestellung wurde nicht korrekt gebracht (erst auf Nachfrage erfuhr ich, dass das angegebene Sorbet Eis nicht verfügbar war und es daher einfach ersetzt wurde (mit laktosehaltigem Eis)... Auch das Essen meiner Family war von der Qualität "normal" (also nicht super schlecht, aber auch nicht wirklich super - leider ohne Foto) Ein Pluspunkt aber für die nachhaltigen Ideen, die Strohhalme aus Nudeln zB waren wirklich eine tolle Idee :)
