Food came quickly and tasted good. The mixed salad was a bit bland, leaf lettuce, some corn and cherry tomatoes. Service was friendly.

Definitely room for improvement. You have to be able to afford, or want to afford, three Viennese sausages and two round pieces of mini bread with mustard for €7.90. A “good spoonful” of fried potatoes with the Leberkäs is definitely not enough. What definitely fits is the hospitality.

Very nice restaurant in the Bavarian style, Portions are rather small, so it's best to go somewhere else to get full. Some of the fried potatoes weren't quite cooked through, the onion roast was exactly medium rare. Approx. 100gram, fried potatoes approx. 150gram. Service top. Price performance not ok. Onion roast from the loin €32 for 100 grams is way too much. Ambiance is very nice, here you pay more for the ambience.

We spontaneously dined here with our two children and our dog and had a very nice, enjoyable evening. We were given a table at the edge (because of the dog) so we could all relax. The service was very friendly and attentive, the kitchen was really good, and the food was also fantastic! As vegetarians we had a good selection and our son had the best cheese spaetzle of his life. The often somewhat "heavy", traditional food is given a certain lightness thanks to fresh ingredients - without sacrificing the taste, quite the opposite! If you want to feel good and eat well, you should definitely visit this restaurant!

I can't understand the bad reviews, it was our first time here, even though it is a tourist place, the food was very tasty, roast pork was very good quality and the spinach dumplings were very tasty. Nice ambience, service seems like robots, no smile on the face, but still correct service. Would go back immediately!

If there were more stars, I would give them. Everything is just right and what particularly impressed me is that the entire staff, including the bosses, run like weasels, whether inside or outside. I have absolute respect for that.

Worst Kaiserschnarrn I've ever eaten. Greasy, sticky, not a bit airy, not tasteful. I let over half of it go back because I felt sick. Unfortunately I let myself be seduced by the sun and didn't look at the rating beforehand. The service staff are unresponsive and slow, even though there isn't much going on and there are enough people. Several people walked past me several times without taking an order. And when I asked for payment, someone came after ten minutes.

We also regretted going there, the food was dripping in oil and the taste was very minimalistic. This "experience" cost 100 euros.

This is an overpriced restaurant! The fact that everything was written in German was the least of my problems. The deep-fried meat with potatoes is tasteless, the breadcrumbs came off and was swimming in oil. On a bed of potatoes and cucumbers, I would identify it as a dish called potato cucumbers. This gave the krupli a strange sour taste, and the meat on the grill was chewy. Everything is covered with that strange-tasting brown sauce, and we went with German friends, they are used to it, but even they didn't like it. In addition, our stay there was overshadowed by the wonderful wasp invasion! That way you can't have lunch to see when the wasp lands in my mouth! In addition to all this, the bill for 4 people was 100 euros... a funny price for funny food... they were lucky that we were very hungry after the Zugspitze.

Wir wollten einfach nur mal etwas trinken. Auf Grund des Regenwetters wollten wir ums unter einen der Schirme setzen. Da wir aber nur etwas trinken wollten, wurden wir unfreundlich ins freie verfrachtet. Das Servicepersonal ist überheblich und anmaßend. Darüber hinaus wird auf Wünsche entweder falsch oder gar nicht reagiert. Wenn es möglich wäre würde ich Minussterne vergeben. Absolute Nichteinkehr Empfehlung

A really nice restaurant with a great ambience. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The food was tasty on both of our visits. There were also no longer waiting times for drinks or food ordered. In our experience, however, you should be there before 6 p.m. to get a table. After that there may well be waiting times.

Quintessential Garmisch experience! The outdoor beer garden and dining area is lovely and has wonderful mountain views. Tasty food (with veggie options) and of course, good beers. Really enjoyed the friendly and kind waiters as well. I could spend hours here, just watching the world go by.

Food is really good considering it is a military establishment for the MC students. Service is excellent! Couldn’t comment on the atmosphere. It’s a military dining facility. With global weather changing this facility really needs air conditioning in the summer now. Other than that, it’s worth eating here. Decent selection of salad. If only management would bring back the chicken doner!!!

After looking around Zugswiice, I came to the very cute village square and visited a restaurant!! The outdoor tables were nice, but it was hot so we ate indoors!! The food is good, the owner and staff are very friendly. This is a restaurant that I took a photo with as proof that I would definitely come back again.

Tourist place, but menu only in German. English is not covered. The food isn't that great, but what's worse is the rudeness of some of the waiters. German welcome rejected.

First choice for every vegetarian here in Garmisch. Very tasty vegan starters, very tasty vegetarian spaetzle, very tasty beer and very, very friendly employees, the boss also worked personally and treated the obviously new employees (season starts in April) with great respect. We can only recommend this restaurant to everyone, the whole ambience itself was very nicely decorated

Fast processing, you barely have the menu at hand and you should order. The four of us were there for dinner on August 15, 2024. I had a Jaga plate with fried potatoes and a mixed salad, little meat, the salad was very fresh, only the salad dressing was watered down and not seasoned, just BAD! The gravy from my husband's roast pork tasted like a packaged gravy. We weren't even asked if we liked the food; the waiters probably already know that the quality of the food doesn't correspond to the price and don't want to deal with the guests about it. Conclusion: I've eaten cheaper and better!

Visited again. How can it keep getting better? Had the Zwieble Roast Braten. What ever is better than fantastic - This is it! Strongly recommend as one of Garmisch's best restatant. We need more stars to rate this place, it was that good! Easy to make reservations, excellent staff and service. The food was a plate above all others! Great atmosphere and fantastic company made for a wonderful evening and celebration of our 42d wedding anniversary. Strongly recommend this restaurant!

Had dinner there yesterday and the day before yesterday. Professionals at work. From the boss on duty to every waiter and of course the kitchen - everyone is on point. Food and drinks great and quick. Price + performance fits. Thank you.

Booked by our host, we had to hurry because the kitchen closes at 8:00 p.m. (as often in Germany). However, customers arrived after us and were served without problem. The service is extremely fast and efficient. The only downside was that our server (and only ours) seemed unhappy to be there!

The food is quite good (not the best I have ever eat but still good) but the amount of food for this price is a bit disappointing. If the sizes were bigger or prices smaller, it would be much better. The service is exceptional. It was the fastest I have ever seen, faster even than in fastfoods!!!

Onion roast … meat approx. 100g. Ordered medium and got it fried to death. The taste was a bit bland but ok. A bit unfriendly after complaining. Roast pork was ok But overall the price/performance ratio is not right here.

The ambience of the restaurant is dignified and the food (liver cheese) was satisfactory. However, there are "annoying" points: - American Express credit cards are not accepted. - Almdudler is not available. - There were a large number of wasps.

Mass processing! We had meat loaf and bread with hummus, aioli and olives - this is much better in terms of quality and especially in terms of taste and is not normally a work of art. A pity. Waiters literally “wait” for a tip and cheekily ask if we will see each other again tomorrow.

Unfortunately, the food was very tasteless, the liver loaf was already gray on the outside and only the inner part was still pink. Cutlery wasn't brought to us either, so after a while I got it myself at the service station. Unfortunately, the waiter didn't really listen and brought the wrong drink. All in all, the ambience was the best part of the whole visit
