A well-maintained hotel in a great location by the train station. The breakfast was good but unchanged and repeated every day. The rooms were well-maintained and there is room cleaning every day There is no air conditioning in the rooms so it is hot in the room but you can open a window and it is quiet in the area. The elevator is small and not really recommended for regular use but there are very comfortable stairs and the entire hotel is 3 floors. There is no refrigerator in the rooms but it is listed that you can ask for one and they bring it, we only found out on the last day and we had to make do without a refrigerator.

I like charming old buildings. I read in the reviews here earlier that the elevator rumbles. Most of them do, by the way, no matter how old, and it's not a big deal. Machines make noise. The rooms are impeccably clean, which wasn't the case in some other hotels that boast more stars. The breakfast buffet and the food in the restaurant are fantastic, and the service is courteous and quick. And no matter what you approach the owner with, whether it's questions about activities in the area or staying with a dog, you'll always receive information or assistance. I think it's worth far more when you don't lack for anything during your relaxing time.

Centrally located hotel near Zugspitze train station. A bit dated/rustically furnished. Bathroom very, very small. No minibar or refrigerator in the room. Very warm in the room, but there were fans in the hallway. Breakfast was adequate, but nothing more. Breakfast staff could be a bit friendlier. From 7 a.m., "room service" knocks on your room door—if you don't put out a sign. Annett and Christian were very nice, though 👌

The staff were very nice and friendly! The small, inexpensive room in the attic was cozy, newly renovated, and clean. The breakfast buffet was available until the end. Before the room was cleared, I was asked twice if I wanted anything else. Excellent.

Nice staff but unfortunately no oat milk

Unfortunately my experience with the staff was extremely negative. They were unfriendly, unhelpful and gave the impression that they had no interest in treating people fairly or with respect. What was particularly frightening was the feeling of being discriminated against because of my origins. Such behavior is unacceptable and should be urgently reconsidered.

This is a great hotel situated within walking distance of many attractions in Garmisch Partenkirchen. We caught the Flixbus from Munich Airport which stops literally outside the hotel, as is the train station. Main town is about ten minutes walk, but there are restaurants very close by. Christian and the rest of the staff were brilliant, very attentive and helpful at all times. We went skiing daily, good ski/boot storage room in the hotel but we preferred to leave our skis at the gondola. Thank you Christian, we will be returning!

Super central hotel between Patenkirchen and Garmisch, opposite the train station. Everything is very easy to reach from here. The hotel... wonderfully cozy! Our room was fantastic! The breakfast was perfectly adequate and inviting! But what makes this hotel stand out are the people who work there. THEY are the soul of the place! Whether it's housekeeping, the reception (we'd like to especially highlight Christian!!!), the breakfast crew with Agatha and Renate, and all the other people who made our stay there a truly wonderful one! We'll be happy to come back... Thank you!

It was a great trip. I stayed at the Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten for three days. The hotel was well located near the Zugspitze. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. I'll be back in the summer.

I chose the hotel a few weeks ago for a short stay :) The reception was really nice, I immediately felt welcome and I was also given great tips on sights and a ticket that allowed me to travel on the bus for free! The room was quite large and very clean, completely okay for the price 👍🏼 The only thing you could complain about is that the walls are quite thin and you could always hear someone talking in the hallway.

All in all it was a pleasant stay, the hotel is really central and only about a 2 minute walk from the train station. The breakfast was ok during the week, on the weekend when the woman took over it was very well prepared, there was something for everyone. On the 3rd floor there is a small fitness room where you can work off the calories, on the 2nd floor right next to the elevator there is a shoe shiner where you can get your shoes clean after a hike. The rooms are ok and are cleaned properly every day. The price is not that good in my opinion, but still acceptable given the location in Garmisch. There is apparently also a visitor's tax of 3 euros per night, for my 4 night stay I had to pay 12 euros.

I took a short vacation and traveled to Garmisch-Partenkirchen to see the Zugspitze and the Partnachklamm. About the location: The hotel is right next to the train station. Just a few meters away. It couldn't be better since I arrived by train. The rooms: are very clean and you feel comfortable. No complaints at all 🙂 The food: I had breakfast included. Overall, the food was very tasty and the staff was friendly. 🙂 In my opinion there could have been a little more choice in terms of food. I would have liked more alternatives to the vegan diet. I didn't find any margarine either. Either I was just blind or there really weren't any to choose from. Otherwise everything was great 👍

Very friendly welcome at reception, I received competent answers to all my questions about the location, the hiking trails and the use of the cable cars to the Zugspitze. You get time and that's very pleasant. Breakfast is very good, everything is continually replenished. The location of the hotel is brilliant, a great starting point for all activities. I had a large bathroom and also a large room.

I was there for 2 nights. The proximity to the train station is great and on the day of departure I was allowed to leave my luggage in the hotel for half a day longer. A kettle can be borrowed upon request. The breakfast was very varied, I didn't miss anything. There is a collaboration with a gym nearby. As a hotel guest you can train there for free. I also liked the gym.

Good comfort, we even got an extra fridge in the room.

Unfortunately no air conditioning at 31 degrees, otherwise the room was ok. Staff exemplary and friendly. You can eat very well in the Hubertus restaurant.

The location of the hotel is great, it couldn't be better if you like it centrally. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and the food in the restaurant was great. If I ever travel to Garmisch-Partenkirchen again, I will book this hotel again.

Central hotel, within walking distance of the train station and the city center. Zugspitze etc. can be reached in 20 minutes by car. Nice receptionist who gave us help and advice.

Rooms 🛏: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had booked a single-bed room, and it was small. The bedsheets and bathroom were clean. Quiet and peaceful. Price 💸: ⭐⭐⭐ Expensive for single bed rooms. But I guess this town is pricey. Location 📍: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It is no more than 1 minute walk from the train station, and 40 seconds walk to the bus station. Couldn't be any better. Service 🛎️: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Quick service. I had forgotten my key card inside my room, and the receptionist immediately provided a duplicate key. Wi-Fi 🛜 speed: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Peak 150 Mbps at noon, and 253 Mbps very eary in the morning. Wheelchair accessibility ♿️: Yes. The hotel is accessible in wheelchairs, and one can use elevators to reach their rooms. Personal comment 💁🏻‍♂️: I reached 2 hours early, and fortunately, a room was provided to me. The receptionist is very warm and friendly, but struggles with English.

The ideal hotel for all hikers. All hiking trails can be reached from the hotel. It is also right opposite the train station and bus stops. The service is very friendly, the breakfast buffet is extensive. My room was larger than expected, very clean and the beds were comfortable and you have a great view of the mountains.

Wonderful stay! Had Mountain views and a comfortable room. The free breakfast was amazing each morning and when I asked for hot water for tea I was offered a kettle to keep in my room. The bus pass and access to the fitness center/sauna are a plus, too!

We didn't stay overnight. Want to eat coffee and cake in the afternoon instead. The apple strudel was super delicious. The service from HH was super nice. Very happy to repeat.

It was my first time snowboarding in Garmisch-Patenkirchen and I chose this hotel because of its central location. There is a parking lot for cars behind the hotel. If you arrive by train, you can be happy that the train station is on the other side of the street. The hotel is not old-fashioned, but not modern either. Everything you need in the room is there. Unfortunately the mattresses are very hard. The sweets on the pillows were very nice. The WiFi is fast enough to easily stream a film or series in HD.

Great hotel! Stayed at the hotel for a skiing holiday. We were able to leave our luggage secured early in the morning so that we could go skiing before checking in. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the ski bus and directly connected to the train and bus station. Service is great! We were able to store our luggage on the check-in and check-out day, and the staff even gave us the opportunity to still shower with fresh towels in the hotel after checking out around 8 a.m. and a strenuous day of skiing until 5 p.m go. Highly recommended!

We chose the hotel because of its location and price. Furthermore, we have already booked at the end of 2022, which was not the case with other (more expensive and more starred) hotels. The reception is certainly a bit older, but that reinforces the positive impression. The reception was very friendly, which can also be said about the other employees. Our rooms faced the street and the public parking lot. Although we feared that the noise would disturb us, this was only partially the case. Bavarians also go to bed early. The rooms were bright and very clean. In the summer we would definitely have used the balcony in the evenings. The bathroom was small but everything was there. No mold infestation whatsoever, which was very positive for us. We were able to use the hotel's own parking lot and then took ÖVM, which was included in the guest card. The attached restaurant where we could eat in the evening was also positive. Short routes. Probably even nicer in summer because of the outdoor spaces available (south facing). Conclusion: We were very satisfied and can recommend the hotel.

The perfect good value hotel for going skiing in Garmisch Classic or Zugspitze. Just in front of Garmisch main station and super close to the special mountain train going to Garmisch Classic or Zugspitze. Even has a ski room with boot dryers. Can 100% recommend!

The location of the hotel is very central and everything can be reached by bus or on foot. We enjoyed the food in the restaurant. Stayed there one night and booked with breakfast. The ladies at the breakfast buffet were very accommodating and nice. The only thing we have to complain about is the beds. Mattresses very hard.

Used two rooms there. Very friendly staff, clean rooms. Simply good three stars in a central location. Parking spaces behind the house, proximity to the train station doesn't bother you at all. We would book it again.

Sehr netter Service. Leider ist das Hotel an einer lauten und vielbefahrenen Straße gelegen. Auch die Zimmer nach hinten raus waren laut, weil Dorf bei unserem Aufenthalt eine Baustelle war. Morgens um kurz nach 7 fing der Baulärm (Bohrhammer) an. Die Zimmer waren relativ klein aber sauber. In den Beschreibung einiger Veranstalter wird zurzeit noch mit einer Sauna geworben. Die gibt es nicht! Das Frühstück war gut. Das Hotel ist sehr nah am Bahnhof gelegen. Also gut mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu erreichen.
