It's worth taking the S-Bahn, for example, just a stone's throw from Moosach train station. The four of us were completely satisfied, pleasant atmosphere, fine food. Affordable bottled wine, highly recommended.

Here guests experience a successful combination of traditional Indian cuisine and a very modern ambience. The dishes are simply excellent and leave little to be desired, even for connoisseurs of Indian cuisine. The play with flavors is perfected here. There is also very friendly and attentive service. I felt very comfortable here and would like to come back.

The restaurant right next to Moosacher train station opened less than 6 months ago. We sat outside for lunch. You sit there 2 steps higher than each other. street level, which I think is good. The service was friendly and prompt. We ordered two drinks and two dishes from the lunch menu, plus two portions of naan. My lamb Jalfrezi was a bit spicier, as stated. Still very well seasoned, ingredients were recognizable, which I think is good. My wife's chicken tikka was also found to be good. In the end, the bill including the tip approached €40. Unfortunately, this is no longer unusual for Munich. Nevertheless, we didn't find the price-performance ratio unreasonable. We will go again. Today I devalued the service. Given the prices, you can please pour a beer up to the calibration mark

Very good tasting food, nice employees and generally a good place to eat. However, the spritz I had was small and weak compared to every other place in Europe so I suggest sticking to the food.

It was our first time in the restaurant and we were disappointed due to the many good reviews. The food was okay, but definitely not one of the best Indian restaurants in the city. Unfortunately, the speci tasted like dishwashing liquid. The service was friendly and attentive. Food arrived within 10 minutes of ordering.

ATTENTION NOT BARRIER-FREE! Therefore 1 star deducted. We (2 moms with 2 babies) were there with 2 strollers and then discovered that they were not barrier-free. :( The food itself was really very good and the price-performance ratio was also perfectly fine. We were there at lunchtime and it went relatively quickly until the order was taken and the food was served. However, the waiters could be friendlier. What was a complete no-go (as written, we were 2 women) is that the two male waiters didn't even offer to help us lift the two strollers up or down one step. In both cases they just stood there and watched us. For that reason alone I wouldn't come back. If not barrier-free, then you can at least help one. But apparently they don't rely on this group of customers, although it wasn't exactly crowded when we dined. Too bad!

Saroor offers a very relaxed and pleasantly calm ambience in an otherwise busy surrounding. Our waiter was great, hitting the sweet spot between doing too much and too little - everything was just right, plus he was especially friendly and patient all throughout our dinner. The food was delicious and plenty, offering just what you'd expect for the price you pay. We'll come back! :-)

Eine besondere Atmosphäre This Indian restaurant has a special ambience and lovely atmosphere. The staff is very attentive, friendly and the food and cocktails were very good. Numerous drinks, wine and cocktails can be enjoyed there. The dishes are standard in the menu book like any other Indian restaurant. We felt very comfortable because this had a special atmosphere compared to another Indian restaurant, modern design and setting. The portion can be a bit larger but it's ok. We would like to come again.

We last went to Sangam in Giesing with a Groupon voucher. And now here for a 4.9 star rating. What a difference! I expected more from Saroor based on the reviews and was disappointed, the taste was maybe average, nothing more. Sangam less stars, but taste 2 stars better. I don't understand the 5 star reviews. No recommendation. There are no parking spaces available, but they are right at Moosach train station.

we are many time in saroor ,food is very good and service ,but my chlid now ask me He don't like to go saroor , we are last time here and i am also observe staff is only taking about woman and about our table i am don't write like this commet ,but we do not feel like compfortable more here, Staff is very jung and careless and nonresponsible, we are comimg here to enjoy our evening not for harsment

The food was very tasty and also spicy if you ordered something accordingly. The naans were also a bit larger than most Indian restaurants. The employees were also very nice and there was also some small talk. The restaurant itself was quite large and the tables weren't too close together. The toilets were also very clean. I can only recommend it and when I'm in the area again, I'll be happy to stop by again.

Excellent value for money, the dishes are delicious, the mango chicken is to die for!!!! A must-see restaurant if you come that way, you won't be disappointed!

Finally an Indian that doesn't overwhelm you with all the plush stuff and decorations. Excellent food - unfortunately due to a mistake we had to wait over 40 minutes for our food. Can happen! We try to understand that it may be culturally difficult to apologize verbally. We skipped the dessert that was offered (many thanks for the offer) because there is an excellent gelateria a few steps away. My suggestion that a beer that had already been consumed could be paid for on the house instead was dismissed with the comment that the bill had already been paid. A pity!

The 4 stars in service are only for the slight overwhelm of the staff, as there were simply too many guests there at the time and in some cases you had to wait longer than 5 minutes for the waitress to come to the table. Nevertheless, the service was very friendly and accommodating to us. Our orders also came to the table exactly as ordered. Thank you for the lovely evening in your great restaurant. We'd love to come back when we're in the area again.

The food was very tasty and the service was attentive and friendly. As a main course we had lamb biryani and a duck dish of the day. Both types of meat were tender and juicy.

Today we bought two main courses to collect ourselves. The Malai Kofta (cheese dumplings) dish only had three tiny dumplings, otherwise a lot of sauce (which was okay) and relatively little rice. The meat in the “Butter Chicken” dish was little and unfortunately mostly tough, again a lot of sauce and little rice. Total 31.40 euros, we were very disappointed.

I just traveled from Berlin with my family for a five days trip and today was the first day here. We were too tired but wanted to eat real good food. We tried Saroor and ordered Garlic naan, tandoori roti, Dal tadka with Raita. The whole of Berlin doesn’t serve the Tandoori roti like we got here. The food was super tasty and super delicious. 100% Recommended. We will go back definitely.

It was too cold for the waiter to serve us outside in 20 degree sunshine. That's why we won't be coming back.

Went there for the first time today thanks to a Groupon voucher. The food was really delicious and you could tell it was freshly prepared and perfectly seasoned. The service is top! The music isn't too loud like everywhere else, so you can have a good conversation while eating. We will come back!

Had malai kofte to take away. There were 3 (!!!) balls in the sauce. That's really cheeky. The taste really isn't good either. I can't understand all the good reviews at all.

Located directly at the Moosacher train station, the Indian restaurant has a perfect connection to public transport and, due to its proximity to Meile Moosach, there are enough parking spaces available. Ordering the food went quickly, even though I said a little carelessly that I wanted the same thing as the person I ordered (starter and side dish), just a different main course, and then when the starter was brought I noticed that only my main course was noted. But reordering worked perfectly. The food was very good, although a bit low for me. Price-performance is top. There is also a side room that can be reserved for small groups. The main room is modern but not overly designed. I'm already looking forward to the next visit.

Tried the SAROOR for the first time. So far I've mostly been to SIDARTHA in Obermenzing or Solln. Great ambience, fair prices and very nice employees. Plus very good food. The location is of course also great. We'll definitely come back.

Delicious, inexpensive, gladly again

This is our fourth time here - very satisfied every time. Tried the vegetarian dishes several times, and they were consistently delicious! It's great that we've had an Indian restaurant opposite the train station in Moosach for three weeks now! The location has become beautiful and has an individual style. The staff very courteous and attentive service. The dishes were very tasty, attractively prepared and delicately seasoned. It was really spicy, but not too spicy. What bothered me was that the heaters were on and the windows were tilted. We'll definitely be back! Addition: now there for the third time, yesterday on the terrace, attentive service, very tasty and not too spicy! Keep it up!

I couldn't decide between two sauces for two dishes. I was able to order the other sauce for a reasonable price without any problems! I give so many stars because the price/performance was right. Great ambience, very nice and modern furnishings, in contrast to the usual cliche kitsch of most Indian restaurants. The food was also very tasty, even if the portions were rather small. We definitely had room for dessert and would have liked to drink more, but the waiters practically never came to our table and it was difficult to get their attention with a look or a wave. And not because they had so much to do on this rather quiet weeknight evening, but because the three of them were unfortunately quite engrossed in their conversation at the bar. I really hope we just had a bad day in terms of service, because we would actually like to come more often because of the food and the atmosphere.

Wir waren jetzt 2 mal dort und beim 2.Mal war das Essen wirklich top! Gut aufeinander abgestimmte Zutaten, die geschmacklich neugierig machen. Auch der Service ist gut : prompt und nicht aufdringlich, so dass wir sicherlich wieder kommen. Wie schon von anderen erwähnt kann aber an der Schankqualität für Bier noch gearbeitet werden, denn leider wurde auch bei uns der Eichstrich nicht erreicht. Zu empfehlen sind auch die Cocktails, was man bei einem indischen Restaurant ja nicht unbedingt erwartet. Vom Preis insgesamt im Mittelfeld, was aber bei der Qualität angemessen erscheint.

Essen was Mega lecker! Preise sind sehr angemessen und nicht teuer. Einen Punkt Abzug gibt es nur, weil meine knusprige Ente leider eine labbrige Ente war. Werde aber definitiv wieder kommen.

Das Essen war sehr lecker (unbedingt die Linsensuppe bzw. Daal probieren) und das Ambiente auch gut. Der Kellner Bicka ( ich hoffe ich habe den Namen richtig geschrieben) war einfach Top. Er war immer zu Stelle, wenn wir etwas brauchten, und er hat uns mit seinem Charme und seinem Witz unterhalten. Ein echter kenner der indischen Küche ist er auch!

Wir haben dort ein sehr leckeres Abendessen in schöner Atmosphäre genossen. Der Service war freundlich und das Essen wurde zügig serviert. Wir hatten ein Thali mit verschiedenen Fleischvarianten bestellt, das von süßlich bis scharf variierte.... geschmacklich sehr gut. Kommen wieder.

Schönes modernes Ambiente, wirklich ansprechend eingerichtet. Das Essen war optisch ansprechend angerichtet. Die Musik war dezent und angenehm. Leider haben die Vorspeisen, als auch die Hauptspeisen sehr fad geschmeckt und die sonst tollen indischen Gewürze blieben uns verwehrt. Service auch nur 2 Sterne: Der Kellner wirkte mehr als lustlos, kein Nachfragen bei leeren Gläsern und z.B. wäre der Hinweis schön gewesen, dass wir kein extra Naan bestellen müssen, da dies beim Hauptgericht schon dabei war. Da es viele Alternativen in München gibt, würden wir nicht wiederkommen.

Enttäuscht! Wollte nach der Arbeit eine Kleinigkeit essen, wurde zuerst gefragt, ob ich reserviert habe, ähm nein, ich war spontan und alleine.. wurde dann am "Katzentisch" direkt vor der Küche platziert, der, bis auf ein Teelicht, noch nicht mal eingedeckt war. Bedient wurde ich eilig im Vorbeigehen, mein Glas Wein, für 6,90€, ging fast zu Bruch dabei. Das frittierte Gemüse leider sehr trocken und hart, die Kokossuppe roch schon sehr stechend nach Tütensuppe, nur mit Kokosmilch versetzt und lauwarm, vom pappigen Naan Brot mag ich nicht mehr sprechen, alles in allem 30€ bezahlt, für schlechtes Essen, unfreundlichem, gehetztem Personal, dass sich weder für meinen Besuch, noch das Trinkgeld bedankte, in einem lieblos eingerichtetem Lokal mit Plastikblumen und billigen Teelichtern. Einziges Plus, mein Stuhl war ganz bequem. Kann die hohen Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen. Schade, noch ein Restaurant, dass man getrost links liegen lassen kann.
