I enjoyed the food, and the service was very friendly.

The staff was very friendly. Everyone had a contagious smile, they checked if everything was alright, no one rushed me about the bill, and they were genuinely grateful for the well-deserved tip. I had the Chicken Nilgiri and a roti. The combination of mint, ginger, and coriander was wonderfully seasoned and aromatically balanced. The chicken was very juicy. The ambiance is a matter of taste—I found it cozy and pleasantly dark. The large windows on this rainy evening added a romantic touch and made the room seem even larger. I'd gladly come again :)

Absolutely fantastic. The friendliest staff around, beer at a great price, and of course, delicious food. Plus, it's exceptionally clean, they play pleasant music, and you just feel right at home. I'll be a regular from now on!

I had a very tasty lamb dish with mild spice and fresh papadums with three kinds of dip (highly recommended). The atmosphere was pleasant. The only downside was the service, as I had to wait 45 minutes before I could pay. However, I would gladly return.

Always a very pleasant stay. The service is truly very friendly and pleasant. The food is very good, and I suspect there are two chefs involved. Things just taste even better and more refined with time. Nevertheless, we were always very satisfied. We can only recommend it.

I was here for the first time today, and it certainly won't be my last. Everything is just right here. Very friendly, attentive staff... The food is really very good and extremely tasty... Unfortunately, I forgot to take photos today... Then I had a moquito, and that was also very good. The Saroor is highly recommended for fans of Indian cuisine... The decor in the restaurant is fortunately not kitschy, but rather understated and beautiful.

Food was really good here. Everything was very flavorful. We had a big group and called the order in ahead of time. Staff were helpful and friendly. Would stop here again if I'm in the area.

The restaurant is right near the Moosach train station. The interior is cozy, and there's plenty of seating. The staff was friendly, and the food was delicious. They had naan bread and paneer butter masala. The portions are quite filling. I would definitely go there again soon.

One of the best Indian restaurants in Munich. The food is delicious, the portions are large, and it's worth a try. We ordered tikka masala and butter chicken, and each order came with rice. The portions were generous.

The food is really good , the atmosphere is very nice specially the balcony in the summer but really unfriendly staff. Literally throwing the menu for me!! Even if they say Bitteschön, it’s really cold and only comes because they have to… before the staff were good but I don’t know know what happened lately!

Ate very, very well. All the staff were friendly and helpful (and also correct - the waiter made sure that our son was old enough to order beer). There was even an offer to ask for a second helping, and the prices were very fair. All 4 of us were completely satisfied, therefore highly recommended.

Went to Saroor for the first time yesterday, very individual furnishings, not the typical kitsch ("that's how I imagine India"). Nice staff, big bar, lots of space between the tables. Large menu with many non-spicy dishes that were clearly marked. I didn't think my chicken was that tasty, but the mango sauce was great. The other dishes such as lentils/beans were very good, as was the mint with paneer. They have draft beer from Paulaner, many other drinks. The chapati are not always as tasty as there. We enjoyed our visit there and had very fair prices.

2025 Went back here and nothing has changed. Still super happy, especially with the service. Tried Kashmiri Lamb, Malai Kofta and it was really 👌. Overall super happy with the food :) Also we ended the meal with a delicious tea! 2024 The service is amazing. The ambiance is also good. The food, in terms of quality, taste and quantity have impressed us on multiple instances. Love being here for a relaxing evening! Also, I personally loved this elephant :)

My friend and I went for Indian food on the recommendation of a work colleague - although I was skeptical at first because I'm actually not a big fan of Indian cuisine. But I was extremely positively surprised!😍 We chose Paneer Pakora, Kheere ka Raita, Butter Naan, Duck Vindaloo and Chicken Tikka Masala - and it was simply delicious! 🤤This was definitely not our last visit to the Saroor restaurant. The reservation was very uncomplicated, the service was very attentive and friendly, and the food was exactly to my taste. A big thank you to the entire Saroor team for this wonderful experience! I can only recommend this place. The atmosphere is nice and relaxed, the service was great and the food was excellent. The cocktail options are solid and they were very good as well. Will definitely come back.

I haven't had Indian food in a long time and was surprised at what was on offer. Pleasantly noted!! Nice atmosphere, friendly service and the food didn't take long to arrive. And it also tasted very tasty, I especially liked the bread.

The food was very good. The service was very nice and attentive. The restaurant is modern and comfortably furnished, the toilets were clean. Plenty of parking spaces available in the department store nearby, including on Sundays.

It's worth taking the S-Bahn, for example, just a stone's throw from Moosach train station. The four of us were completely satisfied, pleasant atmosphere, fine food. Affordable bottled wine, highly recommended.

Here guests experience a successful combination of traditional Indian cuisine and a very modern ambience. The dishes are simply excellent and leave little to be desired, even for connoisseurs of Indian cuisine. The play with flavors is perfected here. There is also very friendly and attentive service. I felt very comfortable here and would like to come back.

This place is by far the best in Munich for me, the food is good, the presenters all of them are super cool. Portions are generous and you will feel not very heavy after the meals.

The restaurant right next to Moosacher train station opened less than 6 months ago. We sat outside for lunch. You sit there 2 steps higher than each other. street level, which I think is good. The service was friendly and prompt. We ordered two drinks and two dishes from the lunch menu, plus two portions of naan. My lamb Jalfrezi was a bit spicier, as stated. Still very well seasoned, ingredients were recognizable, which I think is good. My wife's chicken tikka was also found to be good. In the end, the bill including the tip approached €40. Unfortunately, this is no longer unusual for Munich. Nevertheless, we didn't find the price-performance ratio unreasonable. We will go again. Today I devalued the service. Given the prices, you can please pour a beer up to the calibration mark

Very good tasting food, nice employees and generally a good place to eat. However, the spritz I had was small and weak compared to every other place in Europe so I suggest sticking to the food.

It was our first time in the restaurant and we were disappointed due to the many good reviews. The food was okay, but definitely not one of the best Indian restaurants in the city. Unfortunately, the speci tasted like dishwashing liquid. The service was friendly and attentive. Food arrived within 10 minutes of ordering.

The food was delicious and the staff was very polite. Nothing to complain about, we'll be back! The prices are quite ok, only the water is exorbitantly expensive but unfortunately that is the case throughout Munich.

ATTENTION NOT BARRIER-FREE! Therefore 1 star deducted. We (2 moms with 2 babies) were there with 2 strollers and then discovered that they were not barrier-free. :( The food itself was really very good and the price-performance ratio was also perfectly fine. We were there at lunchtime and it went relatively quickly until the order was taken and the food was served. However, the waiters could be friendlier. What was a complete no-go (as written, we were 2 women) is that the two male waiters didn't even offer to help us lift the two strollers up or down one step. In both cases they just stood there and watched us. For that reason alone I wouldn't come back. If not barrier-free, then you can at least help one. But apparently they don't rely on this group of customers, although it wasn't exactly crowded when we dined. Too bad!

Eine besondere Atmosphäre This Indian restaurant has a special ambience and lovely atmosphere. The staff is very attentive, friendly and the food and cocktails were very good. Numerous drinks, wine and cocktails can be enjoyed there. The dishes are standard in the menu book like any other Indian restaurant. We felt very comfortable because this had a special atmosphere compared to another Indian restaurant, modern design and setting. The portion can be a bit larger but it's ok. We would like to come again.

We last went to Sangam in Giesing with a Groupon voucher. And now here for a 4.9 star rating. What a difference! I expected more from Saroor based on the reviews and was disappointed, the taste was maybe average, nothing more. Sangam less stars, but taste 2 stars better. I don't understand the 5 star reviews. No recommendation. There are no parking spaces available, but they are right at Moosach train station.
