The aggression is unbeatable. The pizzas are good, I've been there several times. There are always interesting combinations. But in the parking lot, I told the boss to stop kicking stones at the cars while he was on the phone. This escalated into such a rude and low-level discussion with him and then with his wife. He yelled and didn't understand that I was just telling him to stop (before something happened). I find it horrible how people treat people like this: zero insight and aggressive to the max. For that reason alone, you should avoid this place!

Among the best pizzas in Erlangen, if not anywhere else in the world, it's often better than what you'd find elsewhere! Everything tastes impeccable. Our only criticism is the way phone orders are handled. Despite adhering to the required time, we've often encountered situations where the pizza wasn't prepared until we arrived. It used to be better at the old location... once they fix that, it'll be perfect again. It still gets five stars based on the taste. :) Try it!

Had a really pleasant experience here. Definitely must visit when you’re in Erlangen! Vibes were chill, place was busy but the staff were still attentive. It was a lovely day and the waiters were very helpful in accommodating our request to move from indoor to outdoor seating. Next up, the pizza! Really love the pizza base itself and you cannot go wrong with any flavour. Just order anything. Or everything. 😜 It’s a very thin pizza so everyone ordered 1 pizza. Still I think if you are not such a big eater, 2 pizza for 3 people is sufficient. Next, the tiramisu! Read from google reviews that it’s one of the best. But it’s actually just so la la. Can skip. 🤪

Great shop. Good prices. You can get a lot of salad, especially for €8. I would have preferred a bit more espresso and, above all, Marsalla for the tiramisu. Sure, kids can eat it without it. But Marsalla belongs there. The atmosphere is functional, but it also has a certain charm.

The pizza is truly delicious! In addition to the classic pizzas 🍕, there are always a few new varieties... I found the old shop more authentic... this one is big and bustling... unfortunately, it's not really cozy. Everyone is super nice and friendly, and for that reason, I always enjoy coming here! I feel like the side salad is a bit overpriced at €15 compared to the pizzas and other restaurants. It would be nice to reconsider that, dear 🫶 owners 🙃

Unfortunately, it's not like it used to be! We went to the "old" location several times two years ago - the pizza there was really great, super delicious! Especially for me, a vegan, the pizza tasted really good back then – with lots of vegetables, spinach, etc., and well seasoned. Today, unfortunately, I was just disappointed! The salad (arugula + tomato) was okay. You could eat it (and add your own seasoning, although I don't find vinegar and oil particularly "exciting"). The only vegetable pizza they had was, of course, without cheese and only with tomato sauce, a few slices of eggplant, zucchini, and peppers. Too bad – other pizzerias then add vegan cheese or significantly more vegetables! In terms of taste – seasoned only with dry oregano – the pizza was unfortunately more than bland for me. The ambiance of the new location is anything but "cozy" – incredibly loud (even outside) and people sit very close together. The service, however, was very friendly and accommodating!

Fica menos “cheio” se der uma fugidinha dos horários de “pico”, mas a casa sempre está cheia. Não é impossível de conseguir um lugar, mas reservando é mais fácil e se tiver paciência de esperar sem reserva tbm dá certo. I was there today, the service, which doesn't speak German or Italian, forgot the drinks twice despite warnings and the pizza was also rather mediocre.

🍕 For me, Rossofuoco is the best pizzeria in Erlangen. The dough is perfect – crispy on the outside, airy on the inside – and the ingredients are super fresh. The TRICOLORE ALLA BRESAOLA is particularly a highlight. The atmosphere is lively, the service is friendly. If you're looking for real Neapolitan pizza, you've come to the right place. It's worth making a reservation!

The pizza - absolutely excellent! Typical and rather unorthodox varieties, very tasty. Unfortunately, the rest is lacking. The beer is from Zirndorfer, so it's rather a loveless thing, the wine is red and white, no one knows what kind, and there's only a no-name variety of grappa, which is rather solitary. Seriously, there is red wine and white wine on the menu and nothing more.

We ordered something from this pizzeria for the first time today because of the really good reviews. I have to say, we are all thrilled together. We had three pizzas, a salad and a tiramisu for dessert. Finally a pizzeria where you can actually taste all the ingredients on the pizza. I could tell the taste of every single product that was on the topping. This is often not the case. I will definitely order pizzas there again because I am absolutely convinced of the quality and taste. Please keep your quality as it is now, then I will continue to be loyal to you as a customer. Why should this review be fake and what would a shown invoice change? It's not very professional how they react to the review! You can also take criticism and try to improve something! The restaurant is closely furnished with tables and chairs. People picking up food and paying guests (you have to come to the cash register to pay) are in the way of the service people because it is too narrow. Everything is open and therefore it is quite loud when the restaurant is full. The pizza is quite OK, the dough is very thin, the taste is okay but not outstanding. The service was a bit too intrusive for me. We barely had time to look at the map. We were asked several times if we knew what we wanted. After eating we quickly left and looked for a more pleasant, quieter restaurant.

This review was written in 2022 when the restaurant was still on Fahrstr. located. Unfortunately, we were only moderately enthusiastic. At the entrance we were greeted in a rather unfriendly manner: "Table reserved!" ,complete. The ambience is not very inviting, as everything is quite narrow and very thrown together. It seemed more like: the main thing was that there were many, many guests in a small space, and so was the processing of the guests. Order quickly, eat quickly, then get up quickly and wait in line at the cash desk to pay. Where it's already so tight, there's a rush past you so that the new guests can get to their tables. To eat, there are antipasti, pizza, salad and dessert. There doesn't have to be much on the menu. The pizza suited my taste, but I expected a little more for the prices. It wasn't for us, just too crowded and too stressful. Nothing for a cozy evening.

There are nothing to say except perfect pizza. You must go here if you are living in Erlangen or stopping by Erlangen. It's really good quality pizza that you can't esily get in Germany. It's definitely the best pizza you can get near here.

Unfortunately I wasn't that satisfied. Had to wait almost an hour for the pizza after ordering. In addition, the tables are scheduled every 2 hours, so a cozy evening is not planned. The base of the pizza is much too thin, the taste of the pizzas unfortunately varies between ok to very bad and the prices are exorbitant. A small can of lemon soda (33cl) 4 euros, a pizza between 11 and 19 euros.... The expectations of such a good rating could not be met.

The staff is really nice, seems extremely motivated and is very accommodating. The pizzas are made from fresh and high-quality ingredients, the edges are super crispy and the pizzas are really cheap for this taste. The location was well chosen and the interior design makes you feel comfortable. Unfortunately everything seems a bit cramped, but the top points easily surpass that. I definitely give it 5 stars and will come back.

Nice place, certainly for the pizza it's not the Neapolitan one, for the rest one thing to complain about, upon my request preferring the "provola" rather than the mozzarella, the waiter said that there was no problem...but in reality it wasn't exactly like that because he wanted to add the "scamorza" claiming that it was the same as provola, but that's not really the case...You have to be more careful when talking to customers, but especially when you don't know the products.

There are still two drawbacks 🤗 First the positive. You can park almost in front of the door. When you enter the restaurant you are greeted very friendly and you immediately feel at home. Sitting at your seat, you place your order - without any time pressure - in a really fun and well-advised manner. The pizzas also came within about 10 minutes and looked exactly like the pictures. Our pizzas tasted like a dream, even the dough alone tasted delicious!! So in terms of the staff, the friendliness and the super delicious food, we haven't been able to find anything that comes close to the level that Rossofuco offers in decades. Everything is also very well organized, that's worth emphasizing! One of the two drawbacks is that the drinks (Spezi, Schorle) are served in glasses that are much too large. The jug without contents already weighs a kilo! Maybe think about women and children who don't have that much strength. The other drawback is the 2 seater space in the entrance area. It is by no means pleasant to sit here and enjoy your food in the cold months. Since the door is constantly opening and closing, you'll have pork legs sitting there within 10 minutes and you just want to get out of here. This isn't a problem in the summer, but it is in the winter. Perhaps this problem could be solved with a horseshoe-shaped curtain. We will definitely be back and will recommend this pizzeria as a TOP favorite!!!

One of the best pizzas I've ever eaten. The service is also very nice, although you have to go to the front to pay. That and the fact that the reservations are limited in time unfortunately has something of a quick turnaround. Despite everything, the pizza is amazing. Since our favorite pizzeria was unfortunately closed due to a celebration and the appetite for pizza was still there, we looked for an alternative on the worldwide web... The pictures and reviews were bombastic.... And we agreed immediately agreed to go to Erlangen... And when I was finally able to try this pizza myself, it was immediately clear to me with the first bite that it was by far the best pizza of my life and definitely no longer the alternative but the first choice. This pizza is like vacationing in Bella Italia and I just have to try every one on the menu. The dessert was also world class. Simply amazing ❤️

Nevertheless, I am sad and at the same time a little offended that, even though I cook and bake with great passion and have experience working in the catering sector, I have never eaten something like this that I ate less than 10 minutes ago. About the process: It's a normal Thursday evening, I don't feel like cooking and I've already put on my jogging pants. After-work mode is the program. Suddenly an unpleasant, yet familiar noise comes from the stomach region, Hunger… However, the usual selection so far has been very disappointing. I remembered a friend's recommendation and less than 2 minutes later I was on the phone with an extremely pleasant young man. Despite the noisy background dynamics, he took his time, remained relaxed, listened attentively and was happy about the order. He stated that the desired order can be picked up in 10 minutes. Whoosh, get in the car and drive off. After less than 7 minutes I was standing in front of an extremely beautiful restaurant that could be heard from 100m away. The rooms were immediately reminiscent of the last vacation in Italy with a very well-kept and clean atmosphere, an open kitchen and many beautiful Italian details. The friendly lady at the checkout greeted me with a big smile, I was unsure if it was because of my inappropriate choice of clothing or just because. Less than 2 minutes later I had my order in hand and was excited to head home. I can't remember the last time I picked up food that, despite being carefully packaged, gave off such an intense scent. Hungry and dizzy from the well-deserved and at the same time fragrant meal, I ran into the cozy, warm home. As always, I couldn't wait, I tried the salad immediately. I was extremely surprised that the amount of dressing was so small. I only know that from kitchens that know what they're doing. (Explanation: the salad stays fresh and you can also season it according to your own taste or add lemon juice or vinegar/balsamic vinegar) I was particularly surprised by the package of bread that came with it, which was covered in herbs and spread an incredible, delicious smell throughout the room. Now to the actual topic of my short evening trip, which was more than worth it. The pizza didn't live up to my expectations, apparently I just had the wrong expectations... But thanks to the “Rossofuoco” team, I’ll probably still have to work on my own pizza-making skills. Here are 3 quotes from my wife: “And I thought you could cook, it tastes best because of home.” “You can order the pizza without toppings next time, the dough is awesome!” “The mushrooms taste like mushrooms” I don't usually agree so quickly, but I have to give in at this point... You not only gave me the feeling of being in Italy despite the cold, the season and the current weather conditions, but also a new challenge, again the self-made stone oven in the garden, the fresh dough with Italian imported from my uncle Flour, the ingredients from the home-grown herb bed and the sauce that has been perfected over the years. At this point, I continue to enjoy this wonderful experience that you prepared for me today and wish with all my heart to visit you again, only next time, with appropriate clothing and hopefully a free table. Probably the best or one of the best proper Italian pizzas you can have in Erlangen, definitely recommend. Cool place to eat, very chill and you can tell the ingredients are fresh and high quality. I also liked the fact that they don't have a menu with over 20/30 different pizzas but just around 10 but that are made very well, and you can ask them to combine the toppings from one or another if you prefer something different. The price is in line for the location, but worth it If you want a taste of some real pizza definitely give this place a try

The first time in the new location. Was very disappointed. It took 20 minutes for the service to arrive. My Diavola pizza was very oily, otherwise ok. There was a card at the table with the following reservations for the evening. There were four of us and we wanted to order dessert. Unfortunately, there was no time left for this. In general it was very noisy and the layout of the tables is designed for maximum occupancy. It's so narrow that you can only get up if your neighbor plays along. Won't come back. Others may feel comfortable precisely because of this.
