We ordered something from this pizzeria for the first time today because of the really good reviews. I have to say, we are all thrilled together. We had three pizzas, a salad and a tiramisu for dessert. Finally a pizzeria where you can actually taste all the ingredients on the pizza. I could tell the taste of every single product that was on the topping. This is often not the case. I will definitely order pizzas there again because I am absolutely convinced of the quality and taste. Please keep your quality as it is now, then I will continue to be loyal to you as a customer. Great food and service. The best pizza.

Why should this review be fake and what would a shown invoice change? It's not very professional how they react to the review! You can also take criticism and try to improve something! The restaurant is closely furnished with tables and chairs. People picking up food and paying guests (you have to come to the cash register to pay) are in the way of the service people because it is too narrow. Everything is open and therefore it is quite loud when the restaurant is full. The pizza is quite OK, the dough is very thin, the taste is okay but not outstanding. The service was a bit too intrusive for me. We barely had time to look at the map. We were asked several times if we knew what we wanted. After eating we quickly left and looked for a more pleasant, quieter restaurant.

If you are around, don't miss this delicious pizza and fantastic service.

There are nothing to say except perfect pizza. You must go here if you are living in Erlangen or stopping by Erlangen. It's really good quality pizza that you can't esily get in Germany. It's definitely the best pizza you can get near here.

This review was written in 2022 when the restaurant was still on Fahrstr. located. Unfortunately, we were only moderately enthusiastic. At the entrance we were greeted in a rather unfriendly manner: "Table reserved!" ,complete. The ambience is not very inviting, as everything is quite narrow and very thrown together. It seemed more like: the main thing was that there were many, many guests in a small space, and so was the processing of the guests. Order quickly, eat quickly, then get up quickly and wait in line at the cash desk to pay. Where it's already so tight, there's a rush past you so that the new guests can get to their tables. To eat, there are antipasti, pizza, salad and dessert. There doesn't have to be much on the menu. The pizza suited my taste, but I expected a little more for the prices. It wasn't for us, just too crowded and too stressful. Nothing for a cozy evening.

Unfortunately I wasn't that satisfied. Had to wait almost an hour for the pizza after ordering. In addition, the tables are scheduled every 2 hours, so a cozy evening is not planned. The base of the pizza is much too thin, the taste of the pizzas unfortunately varies between ok to very bad and the prices are exorbitant. A small can of lemon soda (33cl) 4 euros, a pizza between 11 and 19 euros.... The expectations of such a good rating could not be met.

The staff is really nice, seems extremely motivated and is very accommodating. The pizzas are made from fresh and high-quality ingredients, the edges are super crispy and the pizzas are really cheap for this taste. The location was well chosen and the interior design makes you feel comfortable. Unfortunately everything seems a bit cramped, but the top points easily surpass that. I definitely give it 5 stars and will come back.

Nice place, certainly for the pizza it's not the Neapolitan one, for the rest one thing to complain about, upon my request preferring the "provola" rather than the mozzarella, the waiter said that there was no problem...but in reality it wasn't exactly like that because he wanted to add the "scamorza" claiming that it was the same as provola, but that's not really the case...You have to be more careful when talking to customers, but especially when you don't know the products.

Just picked up pizza. But best pizza far and wide! Very crowded and loud in the evenings. Ambiance is a matter of taste…

There are still two drawbacks 🤗 First the positive. You can park almost in front of the door. When you enter the restaurant you are greeted very friendly and you immediately feel at home. Sitting at your seat, you place your order - without any time pressure - in a really fun and well-advised manner. The pizzas also came within about 10 minutes and looked exactly like the pictures. Our pizzas tasted like a dream, even the dough alone tasted delicious!! So in terms of the staff, the friendliness and the super delicious food, we haven't been able to find anything that comes close to the level that Rossofuco offers in decades. Everything is also very well organized, that's worth emphasizing! One of the two drawbacks is that the drinks (Spezi, Schorle) are served in glasses that are much too large. The jug without contents already weighs a kilo! Maybe think about women and children who don't have that much strength. The other drawback is the 2 seater space in the entrance area. It is by no means pleasant to sit here and enjoy your food in the cold months. Since the door is constantly opening and closing, you'll have pork legs sitting there within 10 minutes and you just want to get out of here. This isn't a problem in the summer, but it is in the winter. Perhaps this problem could be solved with a horseshoe-shaped curtain. We will definitely be back and will recommend this pizzeria as a TOP favorite!!!

One of the best pizzas I've ever eaten. The service is also very nice, although you have to go to the front to pay. That and the fact that the reservations are limited in time unfortunately has something of a quick turnaround. Despite everything, the pizza is amazing. It's just a shame about the atmosphere, it would be great if you worked on it.

Holiday feeling while eating pizza. Close your eyes and you're in the south. Crispy, thin, delicately topped. The homemade salsicia is a dream.

Since our favorite pizzeria was unfortunately closed due to a celebration and the appetite for pizza was still there, we looked for an alternative on the worldwide web... The pictures and reviews were bombastic.... And we agreed immediately agreed to go to Erlangen... And when I was finally able to try this pizza myself, it was immediately clear to me with the first bite that it was by far the best pizza of my life and definitely no longer the alternative but the first choice. This pizza is like vacationing in Bella Italia and I just have to try every one on the menu. The dessert was also world class. Simply amazing ❤️

Danger! Detailed, long and honest review. Dear “Rossofuoco” team, I'm not very pleasantly surprised, I admit that. Nevertheless, I am sad and at the same time a little offended that, even though I cook and bake with great passion and have experience working in the catering sector, I have never eaten something like this that I ate less than 10 minutes ago. About the process: It's a normal Thursday evening, I don't feel like cooking and I've already put on my jogging pants. After-work mode is the program. Suddenly an unpleasant, yet familiar noise comes from the stomach region, Hunger… However, the usual selection so far has been very disappointing. I remembered a friend's recommendation and less than 2 minutes later I was on the phone with an extremely pleasant young man. Despite the noisy background dynamics, he took his time, remained relaxed, listened attentively and was happy about the order. He stated that the desired order can be picked up in 10 minutes. Whoosh, get in the car and drive off. After less than 7 minutes I was standing in front of an extremely beautiful restaurant that could be heard from 100m away. The rooms were immediately reminiscent of the last vacation in Italy with a very well-kept and clean atmosphere, an open kitchen and many beautiful Italian details. The friendly lady at the checkout greeted me with a big smile, I was unsure if it was because of my inappropriate choice of clothing or just because. Less than 2 minutes later I had my order in hand and was excited to head home. I can't remember the last time I picked up food that, despite being carefully packaged, gave off such an intense scent. Hungry and dizzy from the well-deserved and at the same time fragrant meal, I ran into the cozy, warm home. As always, I couldn't wait, I tried the salad immediately. I was extremely surprised that the amount of dressing was so small. I only know that from kitchens that know what they're doing. (Explanation: the salad stays fresh and you can also season it according to your own taste or add lemon juice or vinegar/balsamic vinegar) I was particularly surprised by the package of bread that came with it, which was covered in herbs and spread an incredible, delicious smell throughout the room. Now to the actual topic of my short evening trip, which was more than worth it. The pizza didn't live up to my expectations, apparently I just had the wrong expectations... But thanks to the “Rossofuoco” team, I’ll probably still have to work on my own pizza-making skills. Here are 3 quotes from my wife: “And I thought you could cook, it tastes best because of home.” “You can order the pizza without toppings next time, the dough is awesome!” “The mushrooms taste like mushrooms” I don't usually agree so quickly, but I have to give in at this point... You not only gave me the feeling of being in Italy despite the cold, the season and the current weather conditions, but also a new challenge, again the self-made stone oven in the garden, the fresh dough with Italian imported from my uncle Flour, the ingredients from the home-grown herb bed and the sauce that has been perfected over the years. At this point, I continue to enjoy this wonderful experience that you prepared for me today and wish with all my heart to visit you again, only next time, with appropriate clothing and hopefully a free table. Keep it up! P.S.: If you can't decide given the incredibly wide selection, I recommend just letting yourself be surprised, as was the case in my case. Information such as vegetarian and allergies are particularly helpful.

Probably the best or one of the best proper Italian pizzas you can have in Erlangen, definitely recommend. Cool place to eat, very chill and you can tell the ingredients are fresh and high quality. I also liked the fact that they don't have a menu with over 20/30 different pizzas but just around 10 but that are made very well, and you can ask them to combine the toppings from one or another if you prefer something different. The price is in line for the location, but worth it If you want a taste of some real pizza definitely give this place a try

The first time in the new location. Was very disappointed. It took 20 minutes for the service to arrive. My Diavola pizza was very oily, otherwise ok. There was a card at the table with the following reservations for the evening. There were four of us and we wanted to order dessert. Unfortunately, there was no time left for this. In general it was very noisy and the layout of the tables is designed for maximum occupancy. It's so narrow that you can only get up if your neighbor plays along. Won't come back. Others may feel comfortable precisely because of this.

It was a helper's meal and we sat close together. The pizzas we ordered came relatively quickly. fast. My veggie pizza wasn't so well topped with large empty spaces at the edge. Mediocre.

We ate very well, the pizza was really tasty. Unfortunately the rooms are a bit uncomfortable. There is a large room with lots of tables - no dividers or niches. Everything is very chic and tidy, but also very restless. Many guests coming and going and a large number (!) of service employees patrolling up and down one behind the other create a hustle and bustle. It's nice that we didn't have to wait for drinks and food despite the large number of guests, but I don't think it's necessary for plates and glasses to be cleared away individually and immediately by four different service staff as soon as the last bite disappears in your mouth. I can also wait 2 minutes for service, that wouldn't be a problem...

I am visiting Erlangen for a week for work. I went on a Tuesday evening around 9:00pm and restaurant was almost full. I was immediately offered a table and waiter helped me with vegetarian pizza options. He also recommended Dom pizza which was quite delicious with cherry tomatos and mozzarella cheese along with spicy oil. In last three days at Erlangen, this was my best meal. Their service is great. It’s quite a cozy and warm atmosphere. I am glad that in a cold winter evening, I ventured out alone. I am coming back for sure at least couple of times more before I leave.

The pizza is really, really good! Very tasteful and everything super fresh! The staff is generally very nice, but sometimes they are a bit too quick and uncomfortable with clearing up. The ambience is certainly a matter of taste - I personally find it too narrow and crowded. It's hard to miss the conversation at the next table because he's 30cm away. Nevertheless, it is tastefully decorated. So if you don't mind all that, but like great pizza, I highly recommend this restaurant!

I went there for a dinner. The quality of in ingredients is really good and also the dough of the pizza is ok, but nothing special. The service is fast and all the pizzas of my table arrived at the same moment. The local is in the center of Erlangen. Inside the restaurant you can find the usual stereotypes of Italy, both in the furniture and in the people working. Personally I don’t like it, but it is a matter of tastes. The prices are standard.

A small tip: they’re often fully booked, with additional wait times, so I highly recommend reserving a table at least a day or two in advance. The pizzas, salads, antipasti are exceptionally good. The pizzas are probably the best I've ever eaten! The tiramisu without amaretto, espresso and with cream was well below average. Too bad!

The names of the pizzas are very creative, the pizzas themselves are very tasty. The restaurant is very busy at lunchtime during the week, which also speaks for the good price-performance ratio, but also lengthens the waiting time for the food.

Food was very nice, but they really pack you in. They were constantly moving tables to squeeze more people in, which ruined the atmosphere a bit.

The best pizza in Erlangen? According to Google, that would be Pizzeria Rossofuoco. The two of us tried it today. Luckily we had reservations. Without it on Saturday evening around 8 p.m. no chance other than waiting for a free seat. We noticed this immediately upon arrival. A line of people without reservations waited in the already cramped dining room. Another line of people was waiting to pick up their ordered pizza. Very restless here. The tables are very close together. You will be shown to the reserved table. The card is laminated in DinA4 format. A small LED lamp at the table provides some coziness. Your wishes are quickly determined. The selection is limited to various pizzas, salad and dessert. There is only 1 type of beer. The pizza was very large and really excellent. Thin crispy base. Yummy. But...the big but: Everything is really tight and incredibly loud. We couldn't talk. The loud music was also rather unsuitable for a romantic hour. A constant coming and going. This creates discomfort. The concept is designed for mass. You then have to pay at the cash register. Too bad. Conclusion: Very attentive and nice staff. Really the best pizza in Erlangen. The concept is more like a fast food restaurant. The furniture is rather functional and too cramped. The ambience is like a train station in terms of volume. If that doesn't bother you, this is the place for you. It was too narrow, too loud and too uncomfortable for us. Nothing to "cuddle with". We'll definitely be back, even if only to "pick up" the pizza we ordered over the phone.

Best pizza in Germany and potentially beyond. Going there each time I am in Erlangen and will be back. If you like truffles, go for Antichi sapori emiliani, a tiny bit more expensive but look at the amount of truffle, and so tasty 😋

The pizzas are really tasty, great dough and good ingredients. There are also many unusual pizzas, for example with truffles. So the taste is really great! The only thing that bothers me is that if you're "normally hungry" you just can't get enough from a pizza. This is because the base of the pizzas is very thin and they are only sparsely topped. Now I understand that this type of pizza (Neapolitan) requires a thin crust, but then the diameter has to be larger or the toppings have to be a little more generous. I think 13 euros per pizza and then not being full is just too much. Otherwise everything was great 😊 --- Update based on the owner's answer: not getting full as a quality feature is of course also a possibility 😉 But thanks for the offer about the extra topping!

We have been to the restaurant several times and every time the food is excellent. Service at the highest level, staff very hospitable. I will definitely come with my family again.

You will be greeted in an authentic Italian friendly and courteous manner. Pizza took a while, but all hell broke loose on Saturday afternoon. It was very tasty and we ate it with relish. The ambience has something of a canteen, but if you don't put much emphasis on that and want to enjoy some nice Italian flair, then you've come to the right place. We will come again! :-)

We were there at lunchtime because of many recommendations that the pizza here was very good. We weren't disappointed. The reception was friendly, as was the service all around. The ambience is attractive and inviting. Our pizzas were excellent! The dough is super fluffy, the tomato sauce is spicy and fruity and the topping is fresh. The restaurant lives up to its reputation and is also recommended for its price-performance ratio. Really great!

The pizzas are great. Unfortunately our order today was unreliable. Ordered at 7:40 p.m. with a communicated waiting time of 40 minutes. If payment is made and picked up at 8:20 p.m., the order will only be placed with a cross on a piece of paper. I got my pizzas at 8:50 p.m.: 40 minutes to pick up + 30 minutes waiting in the restaurant. Other people without a pre-order had the same waiting time and, despite louder complaints, at least got a drink to keep them waiting. In the end, unfortunately, it doesn't matter whether you pre-order or not. After I complained at 8:45 p.m. the boss just said: "My note says 8:35 p.m. and now I'm 15 minutes behind schedule. Don't you want her anymore?" It didn't matter to him that other times were communicated in advance, because apparently the only thing that counts is what he himself writes on an internal piece of paper. Not the best service experience.

I've eaten pizza everywhere in Italy and I just have to say that this Roman pizza is extremely good and is one of the best I've ever eaten. 10/10
