The food is so special, and so good! You have to book a week in advance because the food is so good, but the restaurant only seats maybe 30 people: simply an experience! 😘

The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. However, you really need to dress warmly, as it was quite cold and therefore uncomfortable in the restaurant.

Getting a table without a reservation on a weekday was a matter of luck. We were seated at the counter with the announcement that "we'll only have one hour," which was fine with us; that's usually enough if the service and kitchen run smoothly. Both servers seemed like they'd only started working there yesterday. They spent ages searching for our drinks, then asked again about the non-alcoholic beer, kept looking, and finally found it. One of our dishes (fried chicken) arrived super fast, and we shared it since the other one took longer to arrive. It turned out that the second dish was actually the food of the man next to us, who had ordered much earlier, and his companion had already finished their meal—there was no apology for him. He finally got his about 15 minutes later. Our second dish arrived another 10 minutes later and wasn't what we'd ordered, but rather than sit around any longer, we just took it (vegetarian bibimbap; we'd ordered beef with glass noodles). I don't even want to know how long the lukewarm fried egg had been sitting in the kitchen; some of the ingredients were simply cold, the rice was piping hot, and overall it tasted pretty bland. There was no apology, no discount, nothing at all. The restaurant's atmosphere was very cramped and loud; you definitely didn't feel welcome. I certainly won't be going back there anytime soon.

Small and charming. With seating at the bar/counter if you haven't managed to reserve a table. At the right moment, you'll even get a recommendation during a friendly chat if you're having trouble deciding. Everything was freshly cooked and arrived piping hot. I also appreciated the information about the spiciness level 🔥. Many thanks to the two of you who were serving today. It was a real pleasure working with you. Definitely not the last time I'll be eating at your place ☺️

There were four of us at HaHaHa today, and everything was delicious again! We had the chicken wings three times and the bibimbap once! It was quite busy, so we had to wait a bit, but everything came out pretty quickly. Our food arrived at the same time, and as I said, the chicken wings are absolutely delicious! I've been here several times before and will definitely come back.

We arrived at the restaurant on a whim. I couldn't find any indication at the entrance or on the website that a reservation was mandatory. A table was free and not marked as reserved, so we sat down. Shortly afterward, the server informed us that the table was indeed reserved. Not wanting to make a mistake, we decided to leave. When I politely pointed out that it would be helpful for guests if reservations or a clear indication of the need for reservations were displayed, the waiter unfortunately became rather rude. Among other things, he said, "From a professional standpoint, I don't have to put that anywhere" and "As guests, you are required to introduce yourselves upon entering." This came across as quite condescending. It's a shame, because I'd eaten there before (also spontaneously), and the food was really good. The way we were treated this time unfortunately marred the otherwise positive impression.

Chic little restaurant with good food! It was my first time visiting and also my first time eating Korean food. Personally, I was expecting something a bit spicier, but that might be my wrong expectations of Korean cuisine, as it was my first time. In short, very good and highly recommended!

The restaurant is actually always full. Therefore, it would definitely be advisable to reserve in advance if you don't want to try it at random. The food was okay. My personal highlight was the dessert. But because of the prices, you can't go there every week.

I went there with a freind and the place is quite cosy- it seats to my estimation roughly 20-25 people, and tables can be reserved. The website has a pdf menu in case you want an updated version. The food was good, though the portion sizes were quite large for one person. We got half the chicken packaged for home since we couldnt finish it on top of everything. They had genuine metalic korean chopsticks and food seasoning. Today was quite hot outside but the interior also had a cooler. Both staff personel were fast at responding and attentive. Overall I would recommend this place for the genuine korean food experience and cleanliness, great as a date location or a hangout with freinds :)

We visited the Korean restaurant [HaHaHa] for the first time last night – and it definitely won't be our last! The atmosphere was pleasantly relaxed, and although it was quite busy, it was still pleasant. The menu offers an excellent selection of classic Korean dishes – from bibimbap to bulgogi to kimchi jjigae. We opted for a three-dish mix – an experience for all the senses! The meat was of excellent quality, perfectly seasoned, and grilled to perfection. There was also a large selection of fresh banchan (side dishes) that were varied in flavor and homemade. I would particularly like to highlight the kimchi – spicy, slightly fermented, with just the right amount of heat. You can tell that the food is cooked with love and skill. The service was also impeccable: attentive, friendly, and always ready. For someone who may not be very familiar with Korean food, this is a huge plus. Value for money? Absolutely fair. The portions are generous and the quality of the ingredients is worth every penny.

Very authentic South Korean food! Best recommendations are the fried chicken and the Bi Bim Bap, can't be better. Also the glass nudel is deserved to have a try. Service there is also good, they are always willing to help you. Only weakness is that sometimes if you have no researvation than you shouldn't expect a seat. But you can always order take-away :)

The food in the restaurant was tasty but the service could be improved. We ordered around 5:30pm and the food came around 6:30pm. Other guests who arrived later received their food earlier. I hope that the restaurant pays more attention to customer waiting times in the future.

Incredibly delicious Korean fried chicken!

A quick weekend plan. Always wanted to try some Korean dishes and liquor. Very friendly service. We tried some glass noodles and signature fried chicken. Nothing exceptional, but it was really good with authentic Soju and Makgeolli ❤️ realized that after all these years I haven't explored Korean cuisine much, so I have to go back again :D It is conveniently located near to the banhhof and easy to find with that interesting name :)

Well, it was worth a try. I had never had Korean before and tried the "Ganjang-Maneul", fried chicken pieces with a garlic sauce. I'm used to very good Asian food (especially Indian), but this was so-so. The dish consisted of enough pieces, but they were fried to such an extent that I had an unusual feeling of complete fullness. No finesse, more like fast food. Side dishes are almost non-existent (only a few pieces of radish). But the employees were all very friendly. Okay, the atmosphere doesn't invite you to linger for long. I have to give Korean cuisine another chance. Just wondering where that will be.

Nice small restaurant close to the main train station. Went with a group of mates and we decided to order several entrées and share. We ordered a few appetizers, the three chicken main dishes and a Bulgogi bowl. The apps and beef bowl were delicious, spot on. The chicken was good and very well cooked; however it was a bit boring. Being a Korean place, I was expecting the main dishes to come with rice and some pickled vegetables. Instead it's a plate of chicken splashed with sauce and a tiny portion of pickled radishes on the side. By the end of the meal, we were all chickened out. I would rather have half the chicken but with some rice and Banchan. I'll definitely go back, but order a little differently.

I don't normally write reviews, but this restaurant is so good that I had to take the time to do it. Even though we live a little further away, we are happy to take the long drive because the food always impresses us. Both the side dishes and the main courses are simply indescribably good. The chicken in particular is our absolute favorite! the restaurant itself is very comfortably furnished. It is a bit narrower, but that gives the place a special charm. I also think it's really cute that Korean music is always playing. you can tell that the restaurant is very authentic. We always enjoy coming here! :) ♡

I am Korean. This place is a taste of Korea.

I was tired of foreign Korean food after living abroad for a long time, but it's been a while since I ate delicious tteokbokki and other foods! The rice cake is so soft and full of vegetables! The chicken seems to be made from good quality chicken, so it doesn't have any odor and is just fresh! Bibimbap was the best combination of sizzling delicious vegetables and beef in a hot stone pot. I came here looking for a place that was open on Christmas Eve, and I was so impressed with the meal :)

The chicken is so delicious because they use fresh chicken. If you come to Frankfurt, it will be a big hit.. The interior is also 👍 Merry Christmas

Best Korean Fried Chicken in the area. Very authentic Korean cuisine, clear menu, the most important Korean classics are all there. Bibimpap, Tteok-bokki and of course the fried chicken are particularly recommended. A wonderful restaurant in Erlangen for social evenings in an atmosphere as if you were in the middle of Seoul. A really big recommendation.

My review/opinion is now settled. Its my 5th time being here so… the food is still marvillous fantastic!! Service is awesome, they don‘t come every two seconds and ask if everything’s alr. Food always comes in time never takes too long. Background music is very nice not too loud or too quiet. Perfect potions and if asked a small plate always comes!!

Wow! From the ambience, which is reminiscent of an Asian snack-and-drink bar, to exceptionally good Korean food and warm service, guests are offered a lot here! The Korean Fried Chicken with sweet and spicy glaze and the incredibly delicious Beef Bulgogi were an absolute firework of flavors! 5/5 stars are unfortunately an understatement, really bombastic. 😋 The HaHaHa is a unique enrichment for the Erlangen restaurant landscape. On Friday evening the restaurant was completely booked, a reservation is recommended. In any case, we had a great evening with excellent food! Gladly again! :)

My review refers to the vegan/vegetarian dishes (Bi Bim Bap vegetarian and Kong Bulgogi Vegan) - they tasted okay, but nothing special and too expensive for that. You can clearly see the focus on the meat dishes. I didn't like the soy steaks at Kong Bulgogi - fried tofu would have been more suitable. The Bi Bim Bap was way too sweet and consisted mostly of rice. Overall, I don’t recommend it for vegetarians/vegans.

We ate at this restaurant for lunch and absolutely loved it. The ambience is pleasant and authentic, and the traditional half-timbering gives the restaurant a particularly cozy, almost nostalgic atmosphere. The food was excellent: the chicken was wonderfully juicy and crispy at the same time, the beef was tender and perfectly prepared in thin slices. We particularly liked the tteokbokki, which was nice and spicy. The portions are reasonable in terms of value for money. We'd love to come back!

An absolute insider tip! The food is excellently fresh, tasteful and lovingly prepared. The service is friendly and attentive, even when the house is full you feel well looked after. Since the restaurant is very popular and not very large, it is advisable to reserve a table in good time. We'll definitely be back!

Spent a few months in Seoul and this food immediately took me back. Such delicious, authentic Korean food! The owner and service are very friendly. I also love that Kpop is playing here! :) The fried chicken, fire meat & Dalgona ice cream are highly recommended.

The food is delicious and I think the focus on just a few really good dishes makes sense. The service is attentive and the meals came quickly. Personally, I find the rooms a bit cramped and since there is always something going on (you have to make a reservation!), it is also very loud. Talking in peace is only possible to a limited extent and the conversation at the neighboring table is impossible to escape. But if that doesn't bother you, you should definitely give the chicken a chance!

It was the most delicious food I ate while staying in Elangen for two weeks on a business trip. The calm atmosphere inside the restaurant makes it perfect for a quiet meal alone.

Unbelievable - we wanted to eat Korean food and drove a long way to do it. We were there at 2 p.m. Apparently the kitchen closes at 2 p.m. - it's not on the homepage - we should go back. This is much more customer-friendly!

Clear recommendation! The Korean Fried Chicken is super delicious. The other dishes were also a real culinary delight. The vegan dishes are particularly impressive! The prices are quite fair. If you want to try something exciting to drink, try the rice wine (see photo). If you prefer Franconian, you can get Schanzenbräu. Service very friendly and customer oriented. In fact, I only have one tip (not a criticism): the fried chicken was wonderful and also pleasantly spicy for the Germanic palate. In fact, some fans of Korean cuisine now prefer it to be a little spicier. Maybe it can be offered in two different levels of spiciness? Then it would be an 11 out of 10 for me :)

Very delicious Korean food. The fried chicken and dishes are delicious. The roasted onions in the fried pork are very fragrant and slightly sweet. Not a lot of menu options, but worth trying. The rice has a little black rice added. It would be better if you can choose white rice. The carrot pickles are very good, recommended! Unfortunately, the radish kimchi was average. It's worth going to Nuremberg to try this fried pork. Hope the drinks can provide Sikhye😃

The food was incredibly delicious. In terms of taste, I haven't eaten it anywhere else. A pleasant, manageable map. The staff was very friendly, present but not intrusive. Top service. The ambience is a mix of historical (half-timbering and floor like in the knight's hall) and modern (acoustic panels). Small and cozy, a bit noisy when it's full. Conclusion: We will definitely be back 👍🏼

Hands down the best food I've tried since arriving in Germany. The dishes are super tasty and the portions are also very generous. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere in the restaurant was very nice. Danger! The restaurant is quite small, so you have to reserve in advance to come. It was my fourth attempt😅.

I am Korean and I visited last week for Siemens training. I ordered pork bulgogi and it was spicy so it suited Korean tastes. I highly recommend it if you want to adjust the spiciness!! It's very famous in our company! P.S: It would be nice if the side dishes were refillable.

There are restaurants where you'll want to walk straight back out. This restaurant is not one of them but is located exactly at the other end: you don't want to leave here! From the greeting to the farewell there was not the slightest thing to complain about. The team was friendly and quick and the food was outstanding (perhaps the best I've eaten in a restaurant for a long time). Absolute recommendation!

Food was super tasty. Had the hot wings and they were exceptionally good. Wet wipes on the table wouldn't be bad for cleaning ^^. We had a bottle of Korean liqueur, it wasn't to our taste. But definitely worth a visit.

The food was excellent. I'm very happy that there's a boneless version of fried chicken because I don't like eating with my hand. There was also some kind of pickled radish or something similar, whatever it was, it was excellent and helped to clear the taste in your mouth in case you wanted to try something different. The filled dumplings as a starter were also great. The selection of dishes is very limited, but that means the things are really fresh and very good. So all in all this is something very good. In terms of price, it is a little more expensive than other restaurants, but the portions are very generous and the price is justified given the quality. I will definitely come again. You should definitely make a reservation, we called the day before and only got a seat at the bar (it was still very comfortable). So if you insist on a table or want to come with a group, you should call early.

This is the second time we have been to HaHaHa and we can only recommend it. The Korean Fried Chicken is world class and for that alone we would like to come back soon. However, the last few times we had to wait a long time for our food, about an hour. The service is friendly, but could be a little more attentive.

If you are looking for Korean food in the Nuremberg-Fürth-Erlangen area, you will find authentically delicious dishes at Hahaha. Bulgogi and fried chicken very delicious. It's a shame that they only have limited seating, which of course means that the reservations quickly become full. To-go orders are very quick.

I haven't eaten as well as I did at this Korean restaurant in a long time. Very pleasant, quiet and aesthetic atmosphere. The service was very polite and motivated. The food is excellent and the portion size should not be underestimated! I will definitely go there again.

New korean restaurant in Erlangen and it was pretty good. Service was fast, nice staff, cozy environment and good food. We ordered the signature KFC, the garlic KFC and Beef Bulgogi and we ordered sides like Kimchi and Rice. Also tried Grapefruit Soju which was nice. I will mention that typically in Korean restaurants they give you free sides (it's called Banchan and it is a traditional custom!!). However, they don't do it here which I find kind of weird and not normal. Nevertheless, the KFC was quite good, I really like that they offer boneless chicken. The flavour was very good and I liked that we got pickled daikon on the side. I was unfortunately not blown away by the Beef Bulgogi, I have had way better and this was mediocre to say the least. Beef needed way more marinating time and needs to go on a hot plate or something and it was soggy. I would come back for the KFC, next time I will try the Tteokboki and Japchae.

Mega delicious Korean food. You should reserve, the few places are very popular. We ate the roasted chicken pieces - they were wonderfully marinated.
