The food was great. It was easy to order a grill plate for the group and then share it with each other. There were three of us there, but we “only” took a grill plate for two people. But even this was more than sufficient. We took the leftovers home with us and were able to enjoy them again at home 🙂 We will definitely come again. P.S. Another star for the nice waitress, who did her best to serve us despite her fear of our dog👍🏻

Unfortunately, we do not recommend the restaurant to the Arab world because, frankly, the food they make is not Arabic food I ordered 2 Shawarmateller and 2 Ayran Of course, after an hour of waiting, the food came and I wish it had not come 🥲 Shawarma consists of pieces of chicken cooked in a frying pan and not on a skewer as is not the norm. The rice and chicken contain a lot of oil, not natural, and this is instead of the fact that the cook has no experience. The salad is not very clean or not washed, so we waste the bowl with lemon salt and vinegar Ayran milk does not have a good taste or even experience in preparing what is made up of - milk, salt, water, and dried mint. We mix them together and we make a drink and offer them to customers. Account: There was a grassroots world behind me who wanted to pay and their account came out. 29 After they paid, they came back and counted the one who voted on him and called for him. Spontaneously while passing through... despite the full tables, a small table was set up for me... a small starter and small salad were more than enough and by far one of the tastiest starter plates I've ever eaten. Big recommendation for anyone who gets stranded here... you can be back at the train station in 5 minutes

The Palmyra is rightly one of the best restaurants in Erlangen! The food is always delicious and there is a large selection of Syrian specialties on offer. The service is very quick and always helpful. In summer you can spend the evening in front of the restaurant in a relaxed atmosphere. The Palmyra absolutely deserves 6/5 ⭐️.

Very tasty food. We had the upside down rice with chicken. Very spicy, not too spicy. Only the chicken was a bit dry. We also had Farouj Mousahab. The chicken here was very juicy. Delicious flatbread. Deductions in the B grade because we initially didn't get any bread as a starter. We will come back.

First I have to say that the service is really not attentive. Unfortunately, you are completely ignored. The ambience isn't really impressive either. The dips and the food are outstanding. The hummus is indescribably good. And I have never tasted such a good garlic dip. This is world class!

The food is delicious every time! The garlic cream and hummus are my absolute favorites. The service was also very friendly and it was very nice to sit outside at sunset. With one of my favorite restaurants in Erlangen.

Sensational, the Palmyra. Went there with the whole family and were pleased with the good oriental food (Palmyra platter with starter and main course) and the attentive service. A little tip: even on a Monday evening you should make a reservation in advance, but that only speaks for the restaurant.

We were guests this evening and had an excellent meal. We were rewarded with a larger portion for the long wait for the table. The platter for 4 people is almost gigantic and even though we gave everything we had, there was still some of the starters left over. The boss and the colleagues in service are very nice. All in all, the restaurant is highly recommended!

We made a reservation and apparently our table was given to others. The waiter called someone who came after a short while. The waiter showed us to the door and said that we had reservations at their second branch. The young man who arrived smoking led us to this restaurant called “Amasina” which is on a parallel street. We agreed, but noticed that the prices there were more expensive. For example, the “special starter plates” are five euros more expensive each. We then ordered drinks and shortly afterwards the waitress came back and said that they were out of ginger ale. Then my wife wanted to switch to a Fanta, but that didn't exist either. The waitress could have easily said what was available. Eventually we found a drink that was in stock and the waitress went back to the kitchen. After about five minutes she came back to tell me that there were no stuffed grape leaves that I had previously ordered. So I looked for something else too. Unfortunately, our meal turned into an odyssey. We won't go there again and not to Palmyra either. And finally: you will know where you have reserved. At least for my part, I called the Palmyra Restaurant and made the reservation over the phone.

Probably the worst Arabic restaurant in Germany. We had dinner at Palmyra a few days ago. First and although we had a reservation and were on time, the very unfriendly receptionist was very overwhelmed and didn't know where to accommodate us. After he set up a shaky table for us right behind the front door, we had to wait exactly an hour for the soup and then another half hour for the maqloubeh, which was clearly warmed up in the microwave because the rice was warm on the outside and warm on the inside was ice cold. The salads were surprisingly good. The water was already served in beer glasses and we didn't know whether it was tap water or maybe from K-Klassic because it tasted very strange. When it came to paying, we were surprised with higher numbers than expected. After going outside and comparing the prices with those on the menu, we realized that we paid at least 15 euros more besides the tip. All in all, that was the first and last time with them.

Great food, fair prices, nice ambience. My recommendation is the grill plate. The meat is tender and juicy and the side dishes are very tasty. You can taste the individual aromas. The best sesame paste far and wide. Large portions, very good quality, well seasoned. Fast and very friendly service. Highly Recommended. Be sure to reserve in advance, as the quality and taste are now known far beyond Erlangen and the restaurant is correspondingly well attended. Well worth a visit in any case.

After an awkward start where our booking was questioned (for about 20 minutes while our pre-booked table sat glaringly empty), the food and service was great. We asked for them to give us a spread of everything for 8 people. Standouts were the meat platter, the bread and the tabouli. Simple, fresh and delish. Lots of leftovers. One of our party took a doggy bag home.

I went there with some friends last year. The food was delicious. The atmosphere is warm and calming. And the staff are very friendly. The prices are also great.

Very good food in a nice atmosphere in the center of Erlangen. Great service and really generous portions. We would like to come again.

Came here for an evening meal, didn’t book a table however they were able to fit me in. Ordered a starter and main dish, the falafel and dip was good, falafels were crispy on the outside but felt slightly under-cooked inside. Ordered a chicken main and the sauces complimented the chicken, only bad point was the flatbread was cold and it would have tasted better if warm or slightly toasted. Overall a good experience, would like to come back to try some more dishes. Would recommend coming to this hidden gem and trying the food .

Excellent food, nice vegetarian options, and the starters alone can fill you up given the portion size. The waitress is attentive and asks you, for example, whether the main course can be brought now or whether you still need time for the starter. This way, the whole visit is a relaxed enjoyment.

... trotz Termin kein freier Tisch ... nach 10 Minuten dann ein Tisch mit dreckiger Tischdecke ... Vorspeise war o.k. ... dann über eine halbe Stunde auf Hauptspeise gewertet ... und die war mangelhaft ... Fleisch trocken und zäh ... am Ende noch ein Wein auf der Rechnung den wir nicht hatten ....

Wir, drei Paare, waren gestern im Palmyra. Wir bestellten, auf Empfehlung eines der Teilnehmer, eine Palmyra-Platte für 6 Personen. Dann bekommt man eine Auswahl arabischer Küche im libanesischen Stil. Ich hatte das Glück, auf meinen Geschäftsreisen im Mittleren Osten schon so etwas genießen zu dürfen, und kann nur sagen, dass die Speisen im Palmyra absolut authentisch und sehr gut zubereitet serviert werden. Es ist eine Zusammenstellung aus Cremes, Salaten, Kartoffeln, Reis und Fleisch, auch für Ersterfahrende sehr bekömmlich. Die Menge war mehr als ausreichend. Das Personal ist sehr nett, das Ambiente angenehm, nur etwas eng. Wirklich alle Plätze waren besetzt - wahrscheinlich musste man weitere Anfragen negativ bescheiden. Es lohnt sich - ich empfehle eine Reservierung.

We were there spontaneously on a Saturday evening and were thrilled by the incredibly friendly people, the food and the location, from the greeting to the farewell. The boss gave us friendly advice on our choice of food and saved us from making a big mistake, otherwise we would have ordered far too much. The service team was always present and our drink requests were fulfilled quickly and friendly. The likelihood that everyone involved will enjoy everything as much as it did in Palmyra is extremely low, but it actually worked here. We were all extremely satisfied and full anyway and, like many others, we were released into the night with our doggy bag. The Palmyra in Erlangen is definitely worth a tip if you are asked about a good restaurant, as Erlangen does not exactly boast a good selection of restaurants.

Essen war gut nur der Service ist sehr verbesserungswürdig. Man wartet sehr lange, bis man was nachbestellen kann. Die Servicekräfte laufen mit Scheuklappen durch das Lokal. Bis zu unserer Getränke Erstbestellung mussten wir 20 Minuten warten. Nach der Vorspeise wurden die Teller abgeräumt und das Besteck vom Personal wieder zurück gelegt, damit man es wieder bei der Hauptspeise verwenden kann. Ein No-Go. Das Essen ist gut, entschädigt aber nicht den entäuschenden Service womit ich wahrscheinlich kein zweites Mal kommen werde.

Essen ganz hervorragend, die Palmyra Platte ist sehr zu empfehlen. Vorspeisen und gegrilltes Fleisch sehr lecker, gleichzeitig aufmerksamer und freundlicher Service. Man sitzt etwas eng im Restaurant, was aber einfach an der Größe liegt. Was aus der Küche kommt schmeckt hervorragend.

Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist nicht das gelbe vom Ei. Man zahlt für eine Portion ungefähr das doppelte, was man für eine Portion in selber Größe in anderen Restaurants zahlt.

Mega lecker! Vor Weihnachten ein bisschen voll, aber das wurde durch topp Service und super leckeres Essen locker wieder gut gemacht.

Ich habe heute meinen Geburtstag im Palmyra gefeiert und ich muss sagen, es war eine absolut fantastische Erfahrung. :) Sowohl meine Gäste als auch ich waren restlos begeistert. Das Essen war einfach nur köstlich. Wir hatten verschiedene Platten mit Vorspeisen, Hauptgerichten und Desserts. Jedes Gericht war perfekt zubereitet und präsentiert. Die Vielfalt an Geschmacksrichtungen und die Qualität der Zutaten haben uns alle beeindruckt. Besonders erwähnenswert ist die liebevolle Dekoration des Tisches. Girlanden und Luftballons wurden verwendet, um eine festliche Atmosphäre zu schaffen. Es war offensichtlich, dass sich viel Mühe gegeben wurde, um unseren Anlass besonders zu gestalten. Der Service im Palmyra war außergewöhnlich herzlich und freundlich. Wir fühlten uns wirklich gut umsorgt und geschätzt. Alles in allem kann ich das Restaurant uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Ich werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen! Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team für einen unvergesslichen Geburtstag! :)

Abgesehen davon, dass es schon eine Weile her ist, dass ich dort Mal gegessen hab- und das war ziemlich lecker... hab ich gestern trotz vollem Lokal ein gute gefülles Paket mit knusprigen Falafel to Go... Und einer Knoblauchcreme die Mal richtig nach knofi geschmeckt hat ohne zuuu scharf zu sein... bekommen.
