A beautiful restaurant with a feel-good atmosphere. Real candles and flowers, such nice service (such friendly people!) and very quick, even though the place was full. We came as a couple and without a reservation and they still checked and organized that we would still be accommodated. The food was high quality and just so delicious. Clear recommendation, we will definitely try to come back more often. One of the best restaurant visits we've ever had. 🫶🏼

If you want to eat typical Syrian food, Palmyra is unfortunately the wrong place for you. Unfortunately, the restaurant is based on the eating habits of the guests. Who e.g. For example, if you order Muhammara (paste with red pepper and walnuts), it will be served without walnuts, as many guests have a nut allergy and therefore simply leave out the nuts that are essential for the dish. Of course it is noticeable in terms of taste (to us it only tasted like tomato paste, not even like peppers). Then we also ordered Fatayir (dumplings filled with spinach, feta and meat). However, we were only served dumplings filled with feta and a touch of spinach. Reason: There are many vegetarians and that is why dumplings filled with meat are no longer available. We also ordered mutabal (grilled eggplant cream with yogurt). At first we thought we were served something wrong because the cream only tasted like yogurt. However, we were told that this was definitely mutabal and that because of the guests, we would use less eggplant because the intense taste of it would not be desired. There are also dishes with coriander on the menu, but they can be prepared without coriander, as this taste is not well received by the guests. Unfortunately, the changes to the recipes are not visible on the map. The card should definitely be adjusted or you should point this out when ordering. Also, if one rightly complains for the reasons mentioned above, at least an apology or compensation would be expected. Unfortunately, we weren't asked for additional drinks once, even though we often had an employee at our table to ask about the dishes. It's a shame that the one hour journey wasn't worth it.

The best food in all of Erlangen. The location and atmosphere reminds you of being on vacation and the price/performance ratio is simply phenomenal!

The large appetizer platter was enough for 2 people and super tasty. We had to have the vegetarian main dishes, which were also very good, packed up and eaten with pleasure the next day.

I was at the Palmyra restaurant with a friend...the food was delicious, the staff was very professional...the ambience was very pleasant...everything was excellent...prices were reasonable and matched the excellent service...topped it was with the beautiful oriental music and the black tea made with love.. In addition, German, Arabic, Italian, Turkish, Kurdish and more are spoken there...you can only find this beautiful in Palmyra... Recommended only 100% Please always stay like this!

The food was excellent. It was a meal that really left its taste on my palate, but I would prefer you to taste it. It was super average inside. The service was top notch and when you look around while sitting inside, an old culture comes to your eyes. I think you should not go to Germany and return without tasting this meal.

The salad and the food were perfect. They brought my service in the same time as they said, I had this meal served at home, they brought exactly the same thing as I requested, so I give them five stars.

I don't think I've ever been to a restaurant so many times in a year. I was never disappointed. Excellent food, loving staff, everything is always wonderful. All the starters are particularly recommended and if you like something heartier, you will be happy with the Palmyra plate!

A beautiful location in Erlangen with really good food, a nice ambience and fair prices. There are also good food options for vegetarians. After the meal we even got home-made tea on the house. The service was also really good, the whole family put a lot of passion into it.

The food was great. It was easy to order a grill plate for the group and then share it with each other. There were three of us there, but we “only” took a grill plate for two people. But even this was more than sufficient. We took the leftovers home with us and were able to enjoy them again at home 🙂 We will definitely come again. P.S. Another star for the nice waitress, who did her best to serve us despite her fear of our dog👍🏻

Unfortunately, we do not recommend the restaurant to the Arab world because, frankly, the food they make is not Arabic food I ordered 2 Shawarmateller and 2 Ayran Of course, after an hour of waiting, the food came and I wish it had not come 🥲 Shawarma consists of pieces of chicken cooked in a frying pan and not on a skewer as is not the norm. The rice and chicken contain a lot of oil, not natural, and this is instead of the fact that the cook has no experience. The salad is not very clean or not washed, so we waste the bowl with lemon salt and vinegar Ayran milk does not have a good taste or even experience in preparing what is made up of - milk, salt, water, and dried mint. We mix them together and we make a drink and offer them to customers. Account: There was a grassroots world behind me who wanted to pay and their account came out. 29 After they paid, they came back and counted the one who voted on him and called for him. The Palmyra is rightly one of the best restaurants in Erlangen! The food is always delicious and there is a large selection of Syrian specialties on offer. The service is very quick and always helpful. In summer you can spend the evening in front of the restaurant in a relaxed atmosphere. The Palmyra absolutely deserves 6/5 ⭐️.

Spontaneously while passing through... despite the full tables, a small table was set up for me... a small starter and small salad were more than enough and by far one of the tastiest starter plates I've ever eaten. Big recommendation for anyone who gets stranded here... you can be back at the train station in 5 minutes

Very tasty food. We had the upside down rice with chicken. Very spicy, not too spicy. Only the chicken was a bit dry. We also had Farouj Mousahab. The chicken here was very juicy. Delicious flatbread. Deductions in the B grade because we initially didn't get any bread as a starter. We will come back.

Very good Syrian restaurant, there is a lot of choice with typical dishes. The service is fast and the terrace is very pleasant.

First I have to say that the service is really not attentive. Unfortunately, you are completely ignored. The ambience isn't really impressive either. The dips and the food are outstanding. The hummus is indescribably good. And I have never tasted such a good garlic dip. This is world class!

Sensational, the Palmyra. Went there with the whole family and were pleased with the good oriental food (Palmyra platter with starter and main course) and the attentive service. A little tip: even on a Monday evening you should make a reservation in advance, but that only speaks for the restaurant.

We were guests this evening and had an excellent meal. We were rewarded with a larger portion for the long wait for the table. The platter for 4 people is almost gigantic and even though we gave everything we had, there was still some of the starters left over. The boss and the colleagues in service are very nice. All in all, the restaurant is highly recommended!

The food was really tasty, well cooked, staff was really friendly, totally worth a dinner.

We made a reservation and apparently our table was given to others. The waiter called someone who came after a short while. The waiter showed us to the door and said that we had reservations at their second branch. The young man who arrived smoking led us to this restaurant called “Amasina” which is on a parallel street. We agreed, but noticed that the prices there were more expensive. For example, the “special starter plates” are five euros more expensive each. We then ordered drinks and shortly afterwards the waitress came back and said that they were out of ginger ale. Then my wife wanted to switch to a Fanta, but that didn't exist either. The waitress could have easily said what was available. Eventually we found a drink that was in stock and the waitress went back to the kitchen. After about five minutes she came back to tell me that there were no stuffed grape leaves that I had previously ordered. So I looked for something else too. Unfortunately, our meal turned into an odyssey. We won't go there again and not to Palmyra either. And finally: you will know where you have reserved. At least for my part, I called the Palmyra Restaurant and made the reservation over the phone.

Probably the worst Arabic restaurant in Germany. We had dinner at Palmyra a few days ago. First and although we had a reservation and were on time, the very unfriendly receptionist was very overwhelmed and didn't know where to accommodate us. After he set up a shaky table for us right behind the front door, we had to wait exactly an hour for the soup and then another half hour for the maqloubeh, which was clearly warmed up in the microwave because the rice was warm on the outside and warm on the inside was ice cold. The salads were surprisingly good. The water was already served in beer glasses and we didn't know whether it was tap water or maybe from K-Klassic because it tasted very strange. When it came to paying, we were surprised with higher numbers than expected. After going outside and comparing the prices with those on the menu, we realized that we paid at least 15 euros more besides the tip. All in all, that was the first and last time with them.

Great food, fair prices, nice ambience. My recommendation is the grill plate. The meat is tender and juicy and the side dishes are very tasty. You can taste the individual aromas. The best sesame paste far and wide. Large portions, very good quality, well seasoned. Fast and very friendly service. Highly Recommended. Be sure to reserve in advance, as the quality and taste are now known far beyond Erlangen and the restaurant is correspondingly well attended. Well worth a visit in any case.

After an awkward start where our booking was questioned (for about 20 minutes while our pre-booked table sat glaringly empty), the food and service was great. We asked for them to give us a spread of everything for 8 people. Standouts were the meat platter, the bread and the tabouli. Simple, fresh and delish. Lots of leftovers. One of our party took a doggy bag home.

Very good food in a nice atmosphere in the center of Erlangen. Great service and really generous portions. We would like to come again.

Came here for an evening meal, didn’t book a table however they were able to fit me in. Ordered a starter and main dish, the falafel and dip was good, falafels were crispy on the outside but felt slightly under-cooked inside. Ordered a chicken main and the sauces complimented the chicken, only bad point was the flatbread was cold and it would have tasted better if warm or slightly toasted. Overall a good experience, would like to come back to try some more dishes. Would recommend coming to this hidden gem and trying the food .
