Mimas Restaurant in Erlangen

Im Vergleich zur Portionsgröße etwas teuer, aber der Geschmack war gut.

Wirklich sehr lecker! Besonders das frische Brot bzw. die Wrap-Hülle hat mich begeistert. Jeder Wrap wird frisch aus Teig zubereitet – das habe ich so bisher noch nie gesehen. Es gibt viele vegetarische, vegane und halal Optionen. Außerdem wird kein Alkohol verkauft, was ich ebenfalls positiv finde. Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt: Schade, dass normale Cola statt Fritz-Kola verkauft wird. Sonst wäre es für mich alles eine 5/5.

Also wow!!! Es war ein gaumenschmaus ich musste nach dem ersten mal essen gleich eine bewertung schreiben. Die kombis sehen komisch aus aber vallah vertrau dem koch, der regelt das für dich. So lecker mmmmhhhh.

Ich liebe das Essen bei Mimas. Besonders die Manakish (mit Zaatar und Käse) und die Falafel. Sie gehören zu den leckersten, die ich je in Deutschland gegessen habe. Preiswert und lecker. Die Portionen sind auch großzügig. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und bereitet das Essen immer mit viel Liebe zu. Da es so gut ist, kann es manchmal etwas voll werden. Ein paar Minuten Wartezeit während des Ansturms sind daher normal (aber nicht zu lang). Wir sind Stammgäste! Absolut empfehlenswert!

Leckeres Essen, gute Portionen.

Als Syrer aus Homs bin ich zunächst wegen des Namens auf dieses Restaurant aufmerksam geworden – Mimas ist eine wunderschöne Region in meiner Heimatstadt. Das Essen hat mich jedoch wirklich begeistert: Es war genauso lecker wie bei uns zu Hause in Homs. Ehrlich gesagt habe ich so etwas in Deutschland bisher noch nicht erlebt, besonders was das Mutabbal und die anderen Dips betrifft.

Das Essen ist total lecker und frisch zubereitet, besonders das selbstgebackene Brot und die Manakish. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und alles ist sauber. Wenn wir in Erlangen vorbeifahren, wird dieses Restaurant immer auf unserer Liste stehen

Die Platte war zwar sehr großzügig und lecker, aber das Restaurant war ziemlich schlecht gepflegt und die Tische waren schmutzig. Es ist zwar Selbstbedienung, aber ich hätte erwartet, dass die Tische abgewischt werden. Der Preis war hoch; ich habe insgesamt 20 Euro ausgegeben und finde, es hat sich nicht gelohnt. Ich werde es wohl nicht noch einmal versuchen. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Ich war wirklich positiv überrascht von diesem Restaurant! Das Essen war sehr lecker und man merkt sofort, dass alles frisch zubereitet wird – besonders das Brot, das direkt vor Ort gemacht wird, war einfach top und das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Insgesamt eine richtig schöne Erfahrung – ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder!

Bin immer gerne gekommen, aber die Preise sind in die Höhe gestiegen und als ich für 9,50€ etwas bestellen wollte, aber kein Bargeld dabei hatte, wurde mir die Kartenzahlung verweigert. Ich solle doch noch zusätzlich etwas bestellen. Bin dann gegangen, weil ich mir das als „Stammkunde“ nicht geben muss.

Sehr schmackhaft und toller Service. Man darf sich keinesfalls vom Imbiss-Ambiente abschrecken lassen!

Super leckers Syrisches Essen, toller Laden mit nettem Personal

Perfekte Abwechslung zu Döner, und wenn's passt auch mal ein Tellergericht vor Ort!

Ich gehe ungern draußen essen, weil die Preise extrem gestiegen sind, trotz der gesunkenen Steuern von 19 % auf 7 %. Erlangen ist eine Studentenstadt, die meisten Studenten haben nicht so viel Geld. Was die Kundenfreundlichkeit angeht, habe ich nichts gespürt, keine freundliche Begrüßung oder Bedienung. Ich habe mich fremd gefühlt. Das Essen war gut. Ich komme auf jeden Fall nicht mehr, das Leben ist teuer und man muss jetzt überlegen, wo man sein Geld ausgibt.

Essen schmeckt sehr gut. Leider kann man seit ein paar Wochen nicht mehr bestellen, was sehr sehr schade ist.

Ich war lange Stammkunde und immer zufrieden. Das Essen ist zwar gut, jedoch wurden die Preise kürzlich im Schnitt um ca. 2 € pro Gericht erhöht – trotz der gesenkten Mehrwertsteuer in der Gastronomie (von 19 auf 7%!) Bei ohnehin eher kleinen Portionen empfinde ich diese Preispolitik als nicht gerechtfertigt. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt für mich nicht mehr. Ich und meine Freunde kommen nicht mehr.

Lecker levantinische Küche, Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis OK, eher zum Mitnehmen als Vor-Ort-Verzehr, da innen fehlt die Gemütlichkeit und gerade in Winter nicht geheizt.

Sehr sauber, der Spezial-Wrap von Mimas ist köstlich und super bekömmlich. Egal wie oft man ihn isst, der Geschmack macht Lust auf mehr 😊

Very good food. My favorites are the Mimas wrap or chicken wrap. They're basically the same, but cost €1 more or less. It would be great if the sauce could also be made without garlic.

Way too salty. All you can taste is salt. I didn't finish it.

Food is very delicious and the price is very fair for the quality and service provided! The seating arrangements inside are quite narrow, and you definitely have to speak up a bit. I guess one could classify this place as more of a bistro with a focus on takeout instead of a restaurant. Though I applaud that they offer seats to people who want to consume the food in house as well. Unfortunately, there is also no toilet on site.

NOT so vegan! Several dishes are advertised as vegan on the menu, but the sesame sauce used is NOT VEGAN. And there are no other sauces available either. We therefore ordered without sauce and ended up getting it with sauce, which we didn't realize until too late. The falafel are okay, the wrap has a really good consistency, and the filling is just the right amount of juicy and varied. The price is acceptable for the quality. We would give it more stars if not for the misleading advertising of "vegan" dishes.

Very yummy food - falafel, hummus, baba ganush plates with salad and flat bread at decent prices. Each of us enjoyed their food very much. It is more like a snack bar, but very well organized and friendly service.

Today I ordered my food via UberEats. For some reason, the delivery person didn't pick it up for an hour. The food arrived cold. I called, and the employee blamed the delivery person. The employee doesn't accept that he was the one who gave the cold food to the delivery person. Of course, there was no apology or anything else.

Super delicious, authentic food at fair prices!

November 2023: Here you can get authentic falafel sandwiches. The bread and falafel are freshly baked or fried to order. Add delicious hummus, a bit of mint, and that's about it. Very tasty, the price is okay, but you should allow plenty of time. I had to wait over 20 minutes for my sandwich.

A small restaurant (snack bar) with limited seating, but the food is excellent. We had Plate 7 and Plate 9. A combination of meat, falafel, dips, and salad. A flavorful combination with an explosion of flavor in the mouth. Highly recommended.

Delicious food and good value for money

I am in love with Syrian food now! It was so flavorful and it was so fresh at this restaurant. I had dinner at Poseidon the other day and I can say that Mimas food was spot on. Actually I like it better than Doner kebabs (sorry for my strong opinion) which are overrated. I requested additional falafels to my meat platter and they were freshly fried. Appearance of the restaurant is like a fast food joint but they take time to make everything fresh per order.

Highly recommended, very good food and nice people

I think the waitress looks a bit aggro and sometimes doesn't speak very clear German, but that's not a major problem. They are respectful and polite. But what wasn't respectful and polite was the food. It's cheeky and incredibly delicious. So really, whether it's fries or rice, chicken or lamb, I've ordered almost everything and I'm speechless every time. Last time the salad was bad, it seemed a bit like the other ingredients but I can overlook that. It just tastes good!

I waited over an hour for my order. The order was then canceled without comment. It's certainly great to have to wait over 60 minutes for a cancellation, and it's already 9 p.m.

The tables were dirty and sticky. The gentleman behind the counter was very neutral, not overly friendly. Aaab - the food was excellent! We had a lamb skewer. All the side dishes were delicious, fresh and really tasty. Priced really well. Therefore, overall, absolutely recommended!

Here, the friendly operators noticeably set high quality standards for themselves. The food is presented in a visually appealing manner and tastes just as delicious as it looks. You just sit there but everything is clean and as I said: the food is prepared with care and tastes simply good. There should be more shops like this.

Nice and fast service. Very friendly and even though the tables filled up within 5 coins, everyone was served with food very quickly. Fresh and delicious, the wraps were made 'live'; baked in a kind of pizza oven. Highly recommended and just get off the highway to your winter sports destination!

I recently tried Arab cuisine for the first time in Erlangen and ordered a “Falafel Halloumi Wrap, French fries, and Manakish Zaatar-Muhammar.” The food was truly delightful! The ‘Manakish Zaatar-Muhammar’, a flatbread topped with two flavorful sauces, was my favorite. As an Indian, I didn’t find it spicy, even though it was labeled so, but it had a rich and vibrant flavor. One of the sauces reminded me of Indian pickle, which suited my taste perfectly. The ‘Falafel Halloumi Wrap’ had a wonderfully rich and cheesy flavor that stood out. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’m looking forward to trying this restaurant again!

A very nice, well-kept, clean shop, the food is really very good and the freshness cannot be beaten, the staff is friendly and competent. You wait a while for your food, but good things take time. For €13 you get a wrap and fries otherwise I would still order something else in this case I am absolutely full in a good way. Keep it up men

“Is this a good shop” Authentic Lebanese Syrian cuisine that transports you straight to the Levant. A very large selection of authentic dishes, very friendly staff and really an insider tip in Erlangen. We are really happy to have discovered the Mimas Restaurant by chance. From the outside you would never guess what kind of restaurant of the highest standard awaits you. The only downside is the difficult parking situation on site to pick up the dishes because of the busy road. But that's complaining at the highest level. Absolute recommendations: Mixed plate, Lio plate, Mimas plate, Zaatar pizza. I give Mimas a well-deserved 5/5 for incredibly delicious food of very high quality. We'll definitely see each other again soon 🙏

I like that the bread is homemade

My boyfriend is like Vasco da Gama of discovering food. I first found Mimas and suggested he should try, and he has been swearing how delicious their food is ever since, becoming one of their regular customers. Today I got to try it myself for the first time and I agree that the food was really good and fulfilling. For those who eat their salads or side dishes without even salt or pepper, the flavours of this restaurant might surprise your taste buds. However, this is what authentic Middle Eastern food tastes like and I was so pleased that the salad, the fries, and the humus were all made with the right spices and sauces without alteration. To be objective, I will admit that it is probably better to go to their restaurant directly and eat there as the packaged food tends to get shaken up quite a bit on the journey, however, the food is nevertheless delicious.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Mimas Restaurant and was overall very pleased with my experience. The food at Mimas was simply fantastic. The variety of dishes was impressive and the quality of the ingredients was excellent. It was delicious! But not only the food, but also the service at Mimas was exceptional. The staff was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about the various dishes and drinks. They always went out of their way to make sure we didn't lack anything and our needs were met. The atmosphere in the restaurant was also very pleasant and inviting.

We stopped spontaneously on our way to Munich and were happy about the really great and delicious food! :)

Best Manakish in all of Erlangen

The best restaurant I have tried in Erlangen. The food from the day the restaurant opened until today has been excellent, always tidy, fresh and hot. Fast serving and baking. Bread itself is a story. The staff is the utmost dignity and respect. The place is relatively small. The food is varied for meat lovers and vegetarians. He always recommends the Mimas sandwich, he never gets bored of it

You can always come here again and again. The food has been constantly improving since it opened. I tried almost all of the dishes, everything tastes simply delicious/delicious Vegans will definitely find something healthy here, while those who eat meat will look forward to a variety of delicious menus. The team is respectful/kind/hospitable. You can notice cleanliness everywhere in the restaurant. It is recommended, it is worth going more often. Wish the team continued success

I visited this small Syrian restaurant on my lunch break. I had the "Mima's plate" with rice - super tasty, a harmonious variety of flavors. Really made my day. I will definitely eat here again.

Had falafel plate to go. I paid €9 for 4 falafel balls + a small dollop of hummus + some salad. Unfortunately the price is excessive and completely unjustified. There are 2 stars for the taste. It was okay, it had much better falafel, but it wasn't bad. I give the second star for the freshly baked bread that comes with it. Overall, unfortunately, I won't eat here again.
