A very nice atmosphere with a fine menu and a great staff, always very friendly and helpful, that speaks positively to me personally, as does the excellent food, freshly prepared. Thanks to Gianni and his kitchen.

Yesterday we had a company outing with 6 people. I haven't experienced something like that in a long time. The food is simply wonderful, like at la Mama's. Super nice service. Prices surprisingly cheap, but top quality products. We have to drive a good half to three quarters of an hour, but we will come back. See you soon and keep it up.

It was just a really great experience.💚🤍❤️ The restaurant is simply great, the open kitchen, the staff are funny and very charming. Just as I know it from home (Napoli). I can recommend it all too well. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to Vulcani. Grazie Ragazzi and grazie a Peppe for aver portato un po’ di Napoli nel my heart.

A visit to the Vulcani del Sud restaurant is like a short vacation in Italy! The food is simply sensational - Giuseppe is a star chef for me - from authentic flavors to creative, unusual dishes that you won't find anywhere else. No matter whether you want to try traditional or more unusual Italian specialties, you won't be disappointed here. A big compliment also goes to Gianni, the waitress with humor and charm. He manages to make you immediately feel at home, as if you were part of a big Italian family. For anyone looking for an unforgettable culinary experience: I can highly recommend Vulcani del Sud! Every visit here becomes a highlight.

A wonderful place with authentic people who bring southern flair to the small town near Erlangen - and incredibly delicious food. A true paradise for seafood lovers! But even without seafood, guests will receive excellent hospitality. You almost feel like a member of the family and can enjoy the lovingly prepared dishes in a southern Italian atmosphere. Great ambience, good food, great service!

Really excellent Italian pizza restaurant! Really tasty pizza, with large crust, well cooked and very "Neapolitan", explicitly revealing the Chef's origins. Very tasty penne with ragù, like homemade and tasty paccheri. Tasty lasagna, grilled octopus accompanied with a very tasty pumpkin-based sauce. Amazing Sganascino: very tender meat that melts in your mouth and you don't have to use a knife to cut it! Highly recommended. To be positioned in Germany, here you can really believe, even for just a couple of hours, that you are in Italy!

Beautiful ambience and great food. Vitello Tonto is a dream and Spaghetti Gamberetti is excellent!!! Definitely worth a visit again!!!

The best Italian far and wide. The pasta parmesan loaf is my personal favorite. The staff responds attentively to individual requests and the atmosphere is great. You can spend wonderful hours here!

Nice restaurant that is popular with guests. Ordered the marinara pizza. I had never seen so much tomato sauce on a pizza in my life. I know the pizza from Italy. What I got here was a thick tomato soup with pizza bread. My friends' other pizzas also had a lot of sauce and the pizza base was soggy. What didn't convince me and others was the pizza crust: not crispy even though it had dark spots from the heat. The taste of the pizza crust was also not inviting to bite into. The service is very friendly. The prices are high and adapted to the well-off clientele from Erlangen. Otherwise I saw happy and satisfied guests. Just my culinary opinion. Personally, I can't recommend it.

We come from Munich and were looking for a restaurant for dinner: already rated on Google Maps, we found this very nice restaurant. The decor was nice, the food was very good, the staff was super nice. All in all great, we will come again when we drive from Munich to Upper Franconia. We came here from Ingolstadt on a recommendation. We have to say, if you want to eat really good Italian, you've come to the right place. The food is absolutely delicious, the chef is very creative and the service is great. The whole atmosphere is very familiar and warm. We will now take this route more often.👌

Sensational cuisine, I'll be back

I was here on a business trip and discovered the restaurant spontaneously. Gianni and I served and I have to say, very friendly, tasty and top service. Gladly again.

Very good and inexpensive Italian food, the Vitello Tonato was really tasty. The terrace is very large and ideal for eating outside in the evening in summer.

The bruschetta was fantastic! The bread was lukewarm and cross, the mixture of tomatoes and garlic tasted very well.

Mega delicious food, tastes like by the sea. Nice ambience in the restaurant, maybe the outside terrace could be made nicer. Waiters are courteous.

Abundant and excellent food. Pizza with a tall, soft crust, quality ingredients that aren't even found in certain Italian pizzerias. The staff were friendly and very sociable, especially Gianni. In the end they offered us dessert and in their light-heartedness I had forgotten the ATM card at their place, which they took action upon finding me on FB. Fortunately, I immediately noticed and after a call I returned to get the card...highly recommended and if I were to return to Erlanger I would without a doubt go back to them.

Because of the good reviews, I picked up a pizza. The dough was limp, the edge was quite wide (of course, this saves on the topping) and the topping ingredients were mediocre. For this hefty price I expect better pizza. I don't get pizza there anymore.

Finally a truly Italian restaurant in the region, where you can enjoy fantastic, quality cuisine. The choice of ingredients is excellent and the preparation of the dishes is exemplary, regardless of whether they are starters, first courses, second courses or pizza. Gianni and all the staff are very friendly and ready to satisfy any customer wish.

From the starter to the dessert everything was perfect. Service excellent and atmosphere suitable.

Restaurant offers a beer garden in summer. Prices ok, the pizza too expensive. We will recommend this restaurant.

One of the best Italian restaurants in a long time: incredibly tasty, authentic food, not exactly cheap, but the price-performance ratio is more than reasonable. Very attentive service too. It's a shame that there was no room in the stomach for dessert - but that again speaks for the size of the portions. A little loud, so maybe not ideal for every occasion. Otherwise fully recommended!
