We had a wonderful evening today. The food is to die for! Personal recommendation: the bruschetta is the best I've ever eaten. The service is super friendly and there was also a small greeting from the kitchen. We'll definitely be back :)

I was here on a business trip and discovered the restaurant spontaneously. Gianni and I served and I have to say, very friendly, tasty and top service. Gladly again.

Very good and inexpensive Italian food, the Vitello Tonato was really tasty. The terrace is very large and ideal for eating outside in the evening in summer.

The bruschetta was fantastic! The bread was lukewarm and cross, the mixture of tomatoes and garlic tasted very well.

Mega delicious food, tastes like by the sea. Nice ambience in the restaurant, maybe the outside terrace could be made nicer. Waiters are courteous.

Abundant and excellent food. Pizza with a tall, soft crust, quality ingredients that aren't even found in certain Italian pizzerias. The staff were friendly and very sociable, especially Gianni. In the end they offered us dessert and in their light-heartedness I had forgotten the ATM card at their place, which they took action upon finding me on FB. Fortunately, I immediately noticed and after a call I returned to get the card...highly recommended and if I were to return to Erlanger I would without a doubt go back to them.

Because of the good reviews, I picked up a pizza. The dough was limp, the edge was quite wide (of course, this saves on the topping) and the topping ingredients were mediocre. For this hefty price I expect better pizza. I don't get pizza there anymore.

Finally a truly Italian restaurant in the region, where you can enjoy fantastic, quality cuisine. The choice of ingredients is excellent and the preparation of the dishes is exemplary, regardless of whether they are starters, first courses, second courses or pizza. Gianni and all the staff are very friendly and ready to satisfy any customer wish.

From the starter to the dessert everything was perfect. Service excellent and atmosphere suitable.

We had a great evening with very good food. Pizza was very good, as was the bowl. Great quick service and a pleasant atmosphere in the restaurant. However, there wasn't much going on when we visited. Restaurant offers a beer garden in summer. Prices ok, the pizza too expensive. We will recommend this restaurant.

One of the best Italian restaurants in a long time: incredibly tasty, authentic food, not exactly cheap, but the price-performance ratio is more than reasonable. Very attentive service too. It's a shame that there was no room in the stomach for dessert - but that again speaks for the size of the portions. A little loud, so maybe not ideal for every occasion. Otherwise fully recommended!

A very nice restaurant with a great ambience, very good food and a first-class team. What should be particularly highlighted is that even though it was quite late and the kitchen was actually already closed, it wasn't a problem at all and they made me a very tasty Parma pizza and a delicious dessert. This is first-class service and is certainly not common practice anymore. Here you are still a valued guest and feel welcome. Thank you very much👍

Authentic Neapolitan pizza in a nice atmosphere As an Italian food lover, I was looking for an authentic restaurant that would make me feel like I was in Naples. The restaurant and pizzeria “Vulcani del Sud” in Eltersdorf near Erlangen exceeded my expectations. The location of the restaurant is ideal, with free parking right outside the door. As soon as you enter the restaurant you are greeted by friendly staff who make you feel like you are part of the family. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for family trips or celebrations. The highlight of the restaurant is undoubtedly the Neapolitan pizza. I can say with certainty that it is one of the best I have eaten outside of Naples. The thin, crispy dough and the wonderfully airy edge are just like in Italy. The selection of toppings is varied and the ingredients are fresh and of the highest quality. I had the pleasure of trying the burrata parmigiana and loved it. The quality of the ingredients was excellent and the preparation was perfect. In addition, the restaurant also offers a selection of vegan dishes that round off the restaurant's profile. It is refreshing to see that there is something for every taste and that vegan guests can also experience culinary highlights here. The decor of the restaurant is equally attractive. The ambience is nice and the decoration is elegant. Particularly noteworthy is the heated beer garden under the pergola, which is cozy even on cooler evenings. Overall, the restaurant and pizzeria “Vulcani del Sud” is a real gem in Eltersdorf. With its authentic Neapolitan pizza, friendly staff, lovely atmosphere and versatile location, it is the ideal place for a cozy evening with the family or a celebration with friends. I highly recommend it and will definitely come back.

Great, authentic Italian restaurant, highly recommended! We went to the Vulcani Del Sud over the long weekend in Erlangen, on the nice recommendation of the wine shop “Wohlsein”. And everything was as recommended! Great service with empathetic and very nice employees, very good food, felt authentic to us, especially the pizza! And for us it's a good sign if an above-average number of "compatriots" go there to eat. Fair price-performance ratio! We were there with our little, well-behaved beagle, that wasn't a problem, we got the perfect table for that too.

Italian food at the highest level! We were here for the first time. We reserved a table for two the evening before and received a very hospitable welcome today. We were a little early, so instead of having to wait standing, we were able to sit at a free table until our table (table of 4 for 2 people!) became available. The menu is varied so that everyone will find what they are looking for. The wine list is beautifully designed and also offers a large selection. We ordered a bottle of “Bolla Valpolicella Ripasso”, which went perfectly with the first and main courses. The appetizer platter was served enlarged for two without any problems. The beef and the spaghetti scampi for the main course were brilliant. I've rarely experienced dessert being the best part of an evening, but the tiramisu in the shape of a ball was simply to die for!! Just awesome. Limoncello on the house, regular questions about whether you are satisfied, all in all a brilliant evening! Priced higher, but worth every single cent. Thank you very much, we are new regular customers.

Gute Bedienung, und gutes Essen

Wir hatten vorher schonmal auf dem Heimweg 2 Pizzen mitgenommen, welche richtig lecker waren. Aus diesem Grund, hab ich mal dort reserviert und hab mich auf nen netten Abend gefreut. Leider war aber der Service scheinbar nicht gut drauf. Wir mussten sehr lange, mit mehreren Gesten auf uns aufmerksam machen, dass wir gerne was zum trinken bestellen möchten. An diesem Abend war ein Kellner und ein junges Mädl als Bedienung anwesend. Das Mädl war freundlich, was man vom Kellner echt nicht behaupten konnte. 2 Pizzen mit unterschiedlichen Belägen war schon schwierig. Noch dazu, kam meine Pizza nicht wie bestellt. Aber Schwamm drüber. Lecker war sie trotzdem. Die Nachbestellung der Getränke war dann kein Problem. Den krönenden Abschluss gab es dann als wir zahlen wollten und der Kellner uns die Rechnung auf den Tisch geworfen hat. Scheinbar hatte er keine guten Tag. Insgesamt kann man das Essen echt empfehlen, nur an der Gastfreundschaft kann noch gefeilt werden. Trotz der nicht so schönen Erfahrung, werden wir es nochmal probieren.

Wir haben Pizza und Nudeln mit Trüffel im Parmesanlaib gegessen. Toller Service und Ambiente. Parkmöglichkeiten direkt vor der Tür. Sehr zu empfehlen.
