Parking Lot Tennenlohe Castle in Erlangen

An inconspicuous gem 😀 From the outside, we initially thought it was closed and served only simple fast food. But it was open, the atmosphere and service were very pleasant and warm, and the food was amazing. Whether it was schnitzel variations or pizza, everything was large, fresh, high-quality/local, and lovingly garnished. Truly a little insider tip with a beer bar atmosphere but luxurious food.

Arsalan was a fantastic host and made us feel like home. Nice chat at the bar and made the night super fun. He was also very knowledgeable about beer.

The food was good, but the staff were incredibly unfriendly, lazy, unempathetic, rude, and insolent. I won't go into the exact details because I don't want to be recognized again (and God knows what they'd do with my food then) if I were to go back, even though the food was ACTUALLY good.

Always room for my Rolls Royce Cullinan or GT

One of the best carp restaurants in the area :) The carp are farmed on-site and prepared superbly. The fish is always tender and juicy, and the breading stays crispy until the very end, even if you take your time.
