Breakfast is usually great. Dinner has varying quality and is thus a little disappointing at times given the solid price (bland, lukewarm, etc.).

Wonderful, delicious, surprising shareable and joyful delicacies, also vegan, lovingly arranged on beautiful plates, for a happy togetherness under the summer evening sky... there is also a feel-good atmosphere inside! Most of the starters were good, but I was confused that the chicken and the risotto were not served warm. I expected them to be hot starters. I think it would have tasted better. The mouse was also disappointing. The taste and the consistency were not good.

Food good and ambience great as always. Unfortunately, this time we were forgotten in between and the second part of our “Quarbeet” menu only came an hour after the first. I was already hungry, which is even more annoying considering the prices.

Wonderful breakfast in a very pleasant environment. Great food and friendly service as well as the great chef complete the overall picture. I've been there several times and of course there's no end in sight.

We went here for breakfast for the first time. We sat inside and our little child enjoyed playing in the children's area - that's really great. In general the atmosphere is very nice and cozy. The service was also attentive and friendly. Another really great plus point is that children up to a certain age get breakfast for free. I've never experienced that before. The breakfast menu is relatively small and "fancy", I would have liked something more down-to-earth such as crossaints/rolls with jam or something like that. I had the club sandwich and my husband had the pancakes, both were good. The children's pancakes were also great. There are no direct parking spaces, although the theater parking lot is in the immediate vicinity. It's also nice that you can reserve tables online, which is highly recommended; every seat outside was occupied (Sunday, great weather).

Surprisingly different and amazingly good

We had such a creative and delicious breakfast on the terrace in a great atmosphere. The apricot overnight oats were a poem. Also delicious - the Turkish eggs. Next time we'll try the Banana Bread, that looked phenomenal. The prices are absolutely fair for the high quality and creativity of the food. We'll definitely be back soon.

I didn't like it very much and the many flies in the restaurant, which were hard to shoo away, were annoying. But the rest of the group was happy, hence 4 stars for the food (1 star deducted because of the flies)

Great café with a beautifully decorated play area for children (Thurs-Sun from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., even "escape-proof" thanks to a small gate). The tables around it are positioned so that you have a good view of the children at all times. On top of that there is a changing table that is equipped with everything you need - really great! And as if that wasn't reason enough to go there, the staff is also so so so so friendly and fond of children. The food was also very tasty. Can only warmly recommend the centerpiece!!

The ambience is simply great, it feels like you are in a city on the Mediterranean. Moms now also have a play area for very small children. Food was terrific. We had the cross bed for 2 people with 2 dishes each. Portions were very sufficient. Food delicious. We'd love to come back because it's something different and the staff is very nice and the food is delicious.

Friendly and helpful service that is open to any concerns and patiently keeps us in a good mood even when there is a high volume of visitors. The food is excellent, varied, creative, well prepared and there is really something for every taste. The price-performance ratio is also absolutely fine. We have nothing to complain about and will definitely come back :)

Rarely have we seen a restaurant go to such extreme lengths when it comes to intolerances. I felt very well looked after! The one star deduction is only because the food itself didn't quite meet my taste. However, I appreciate the effort.

We had an excellent meal in a wonderful atmosphere! But: the service is in great need of improvement! We had reserved "Querbeet" for 2 people in advance, but sat for almost 20 minutes before we could order. We were repeatedly "forgotten", be it to reorder drinks, to actually get the dessert (which is part of the menu) and at the end when it came to paying - that really dampened the enthusiasm! But we will give the centerpiece a second chance - you can certainly do better! ;-)

Amazing food choices, serene sitting area outside.

Always a beautiful and harmonious place with attentive and authentic staff. Delicious drinks and exceptional food. We like going there because we always feel comfortable. Of course it's even nicer outside, but the weather didn't allow it yesterday. The only drawback is that the artificial flowers in the hanging baskets outside look old and shabby. I hope that when summer comes, you'll swap them. Otherwise we will of course come back.

In the most beautiful street in the city there is - by far - the BEST breakfast in the city and perhaps even far beyond. On warm summer evenings there is a pure holiday feeling outside and always friendly staff. An absolute favorite place <3

My boyfriend and I always enjoy being at the Herzstück, whether as a couple or with friends/family. The menu offers seasonal dishes that are lovingly prepared. We prefer the breakfast selection for two so that we can try out as many of the delicious offerings as possible, although it's almost a bit too much;) We will come back in any case!

A selected location in the cozy Erlanger Schiffstrasse. The ambience is very pleasant and the selection of food and drinks (finely seasoned delicacies and regional wines) is extremely varied. We were a large group and were surprised throughout the evening with new, fine kitchen creations and were served and looked after by the staff in a perfectly courteous and friendly manner. Going out here is fun and fun, highly recommended and hard to forget.

This morning at 8 I spontaneously thought a breakfast in the Herzstück Erlangen and then in the Botanical Garden would be the perfect Sunday. Quickly loaded the website and checked whether there was still a place available at 9.30 for breakfast - there was one left, so we reserved it and were there on time at 9.30. Service, as always, super friendly and on the ball. I ordered a flat white and from the special menu 'Holiday in Italy' a piece of yeast plait with burrata cream, honey, nut crunch, blood orange and rosemary. An extremely good combination - could easily become standard :) I parked in the theater parking lot. The invoice amount was 19.60 euros. Cozy, modern atmosphere.

The heart is a wonderful place to spend time with friends and/or family while eating incredibly good food. The ambience is only surpassed by the extremely friendly and competent staff. A wonderful place.

The Shakshuka is a revelation 😍 gluten-free bread was available to order in advance, they knew their way around. Service staff always (!) friendly and attentive, atmosphere very sweet and rustic, sometimes too crowded and therefore loud.

Now that we are regulars at the heart of the restaurant, the restaurant has definitely earned a top rating! If you want to have a really good, original and vegetarian/vegan breakfast or enjoy a special dinner in the evening, this is the right place for you. The menu is very good and creatively thought out. You can sit inside in the chic and cozy atmosphere or outside in front of the entrance and enjoy food and drink. There were four of us on March 17th. around 12:30 p.m. in the heart of the city. We were warmly welcomed and were able to order quickly. We chose the so-called "Querbeet" menu with 4 freely selectable dishes from the breakfast menu, which costs €17 per person. cost. There was also a matcha latte, coffee Americano, Aperol Spritz and rhubarb rosé spritz. Everything was really well seasoned and super tasty. There was simply nothing to complain about, big COMPLIMENTS to the kitchen and the very attentive service! Clear recommendation and see you soon! ;-)

The centerpiece writes the name in the title. Heart is in everything: service, food, drinks, ambience, price. Were there with a large group. The planning in advance was also more than relaxed. We were also allowed to create our own decorations on site according to our ideas. So if you're planning something bigger, absolutely recommended, but also for a "normal" relaxed meal.

The centerpiece exceeded all expectations. From the first moment the atmosphere was inviting and our waitress Rose was very attentive and friendly - the service was excellent. The starters were creative and delicious, the main courses expertly prepared. In any case, it wasn't the last time I was there! Gladly again!

As always, it was a pleasure to spend time in the centerpiece. Rose and Katharina were very attentive and accompanied us through the evening with good wine advice. The background music really matched the mood and rounded off the great ambience.

Large selection of vegan dishes and good wine list

We chose a vegetarian savory breakfast selection to share and absolutely loved it. Everything looked beautiful and tasted even better. Delicious coffee, delicious drinks and everything is visually very appealing. Service worker Jessi left no wish unfulfilled. We will be back!

A nice, small, not too crowded wine bar. Perfect for sitting together in the evening and chatting. The cool thing: You can order food as a “cross-beet” and then various things are served as tapas with the wine. The service was super fast and attentive and often asked if everything was okay - a big thank you to Anna and Kim at this point :)

I was at the Herzstück restaurant with my family last weekend and we were all very satisfied. The food was delicious, fresh and varied. We had various dishes from regional and Mediterranean cuisine and everything tasted great. The portions were generous and the price-performance ratio was fair. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting. The restaurant is lovingly furnished and has a warm atmosphere. We felt very comfortable and were able to enjoy the evening in peace. I would particularly like to praise the two service staff, Rose and Amelie. They were very friendly, attentive and competent. They gave us good advice, fulfilled our wishes and always had a smile on their faces. You made our visit a special experience. I can only recommend the Restaurant Herzstück and will happily come back. It is a real insider tip in Erlangen!

When you come to the heart of it, the lovingly designed interior invites you to linger. The menu and the varied offerings (seven dishes in table-sized portion sizes) are tempting, and you can tell how much love goes into every single dish. The young team is very accommodating, so you really feel seen. Nils accompanied us excellently throughout the evening, Anna was always there quickly and the dessert brought by Zoah was a culinary delight at the end. We celebrated our anniversary in the centerpiece, which became something very special thanks to this visit. We are already looking forward to the next visit!
