We drank good wine and, even though the kitchen was already closed, we were served delicious hummus and bread.

First-class service, excellent advice, and a fantastic selection. The patatad bravas had an unusual combination, but were also very good. The ribs were simply brutal! Add a vegan option and it's perfect. Otherwise, it's also very suitable for vegans and vegetarians!

Had breakfast at the Herzstück restaurant this morning – super delicious oriental breakfast dishes, freshly prepared and presented with lots of love. Great service from our waitress Luca! Highly recommended for an enjoyable start to the day.

A special place with style, heart, and truly good food. You immediately feel at home – warm, honest, authentic. The service is warm and attentive, and the atmosphere is relaxed. If you want to experience something wonderful in Erlangen, you should definitely stop by and experience for yourself what makes this place special.

I regularly go to Herzstück for breakfast and find the food delicious and the staff particularly attentive. I noticed Hannah was particularly friendly; she was accommodating despite the busy place. The rest of the team also deserves at least 100 stars. I'll be happy to come back. Thank you, Herzstück! It's great that you exist.

** If you do a Google Image search, this isn't the _actual_ reality ** Herzstuck is a famous place for breakfasts and brunchs in Erlangen. But my last visit has been a chock. The price have increased and now the portions are reduiced to few bites. The Ceasar Sandwich is now 2 slices of square bread some mayo and mushi chicken with a leaf of salad. It is cut in 2 and that's it. Nothing else. Not a salad to come along. For 8,5 euros this is called extorsion. If you do a Google Image search, this isn't the actual reality. This time is now gone

We went to Herzstück for dinner with our colleagues. The portions are generous, the staff is very friendly, and the food tastes amazing. I've never eaten such delicious carrots :D

We visited the lovely Herzstück restaurant for the first time last night and were thrilled. The food is a 10/10. We had the Querbeet menu. It was like a little vacation for us. The owner/waitress is extremely friendly and accommodating; you could tell she enjoys her job. She has her heart in the right place. Thank you again for the dessert gift for our patient 🫶 We absolutely loved the concept. We'd love to come back!

Very nice location, the breakfast selection is very varied (savory and sweet). The service is excellent, the portions are a bit small; we had breakfast there, but that's already stated on the menu. For two people, you need to order at least 4-5 individual dishes.

The food wasn't to our taste, and it was very expensive. My partner wanted scrambled eggs or soft-boiled eggs, but neither was available. The matcha was made from very good, high-quality matcha - very tasty, and the cappuccino was also good.

Simply fantastic again. A lovely evening in a fantastic atmosphere.

Four of us were there at the end of June. Since we were short on time, we deliberately chose not to order a "mixed bag" but rather three dishes and a main course. We also mentioned right away that we'd like everything served together, which the very friendly waitress agreed to. Unfortunately, that didn't work out. First, three dishes arrived, then another four (!!!), and right at the end (after about half an hour), the remaining three dishes and the main course. :-( Everything was nicely presented and generally tasty, but somehow it lacked a certain zest. Everything tasted pretty similar and a bit bland, and therefore nothing special. In that respect, the value for money wasn't right for me.

It's soooo beautiful in every way. And the food is soooo amazing! And on top of that, the service is perfect 👌 Highly recommended.

The ambiance is quite nice and the service is friendly, but unfortunately, it's now completely overpriced! The three of us paid €100 for breakfast, including a coffee and a drink each! Unfortunately, the food wasn't even that impressive in quality, so you'd say you'd rather spend the money on something special. The French toast, for example, was very dry. It's a real shame, as we used to enjoy eating here, but the prices are almost outrageous.

Very nice ambiance and delicious food😋👍The service was also very friendly and everything was quick...I'd be happy to come back🙋 Addition: Please try to adapt the toilets to the rest of the ambiance. The toilet lids wobble, you can see holes and dowels in the tiles, and there's no privacy. Addendum from June 2025: The toilets issue 🚽 is unfortunately still relevant and doesn't fit with the rest of the ambiance 🤔!

Wonderfully delicious, surprising, shareable, and delightful treats, including vegan options, lovingly arranged on beautiful plates, for a happy gathering under a summer evening sky... There's also a feel-good atmosphere inside! A friendly welcome and such great service :) We keep coming back from Ravensburg to Erlangen for this ⭐️⭐️

A cozy atmosphere and very friendly staff make you feel immediately welcome. Unfortunately, the culinary offerings don't quite live up to the standard. The French toast and pancakes were quite dry, and the coffee was rather mediocre. Overall, the value for money isn't right! It's simply too expensive for the quality offered. It's a shame, because the ambiance has potential for improvement.

I regularly go to Herzstück, whether for brunch or dinner, and have always been satisfied. But today, unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed. As usual, I had reserved a table for two. When we arrived, the waitress showed us to our seats – in the blazing sun, at almost 30 degrees. Eating dinner there? No thanks, that's to be expected at a snack bar. In a restaurant like this, I expect to be able to sit in the shade. I asked if we could sit at one of the free tables in the shade instead. The answer: "Unfortunately not, they're all reserved." I asked again, and suddenly a small table for two was free, right at the back, next to a storage box. We took the seat; we didn't want to get sunstroke. We ended up eating there right next to the storage box for a total of 75 euros. And when we were about halfway through, two young men arrived without reservations and were seated at a much more comfortable table for three right next to us. Shortly afterward, another couple spontaneously got a table for five or six people. This naturally makes you wonder: Why were we told that everything was reserved when guests were easily accommodated spontaneously, and in much better seats? The food, however, was excellent as always. But we probably won't make reservations in the future; if at all, we'll drop in spontaneously.

An exceptional restaurant with a very cozy atmosphere, excellent cuisine, attentive staff, and a chef who makes a good impression and asks each table how they're doing. Very nice concept, and finally, some variety for the palate! Top

Great place food and services. Highly recommended to visit.

The food wasn't exceptional, but it was good. The service, on the other hand, was truly lackadaisical. We often had to go to the bar to order more drinks ourselves. We had four different dishes, but only the first three came; the rest were forgotten. When we asked about it after more than an hour, we received a rude response. After expressing our frustration, we at least got a glass of wine on the house. We sat inside, and it was very warm and stuffy.

Food was superb! So tasty and fresh. I will definitely be coming back soon!

Man kann zur Zeit gut draußen sitzen und auch innen. Der Innenraum ist jetzt schön modernisiert und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Küche ist eine Mischung aus mediterran, orientalisch und ein wenig experimentell. Gute Weine. Die Bedienungen geben sich Mühe, dass die Gäste zufrieden sind.

The breakfast selection is highly recommended – you can choose four from a variety of breakfast options and eat together as a group of three. A great idea. The food is fresh, homemade, and exceptional. Drinks like homemade lemonade are also delicious and come in special combinations. The outdoor seating is very appealing and comfortable. Service: Since the heart of the restaurant is busy, you may have to wait a bit. I'd be happy to go back anytime.

Simply a joy and a delight for the palate and the eye—that's what good food should be! The beautiful ambiance adds to the experience. Our favorites from the sharing selection were the super-delicious carrots and the braised cauliflower. It's amazing what they conjure up here from supposedly "boring" vegetables. Keep it up!

We've already been here for brunch once (we weren't 100% convinced, but it wasn't bad either) and wanted to give the place another chance for dinner. The service was again very good - we were given time to choose, offered help and regularly asked if anything else could be done. The location and the look of the restaurant are both very good - nothing to complain about. However, we weren't convinced by the taste at all. For almost everything we had the feeling that we could get it better elsewhere in the region or that we could simply recreate the taste at home. However, tastes differ, so I wouldn't weigh this up too much. The biggest point why I would advise against this place is definitely the price. Shrimp skewer with 6 small shrimps >10€, ribs with 4 ribs >10€ (I can most easily understand the price), 3 tortelloni >10€, a pure yoghurt dip 7€… At the end of the day you need 3+ dishes per person and we were disappointed.

Great food with lots of vegetarian choices, great concept! The Querbeet menu in the evening is fun because you can try so many things and the evening becomes even more sociable! The brunch is also great. The dishes are unusual, delicious and can again be ordered to share. One of my favorite restaurants :-)

We were 8 adults, 4 children and a baby for brunch with a reservation and got a large table in the play area. The service was nice and the food was delicious. We had to wait a little longer for drinks, but the restaurant was full. We were all satisfied in the end.

We've been wanting to try Herzstück out for a while; we finally made it and weren't disappointed. We'll definitely be back when it is warmer so we can sit outside and enjoy the great Frankonian Tapas and people watch on the old cobblestone ways in Erlangen. We got a selection of tapas and were most impressed with the potatoes and dip. Some other selections were a bit more average, but there was definitely something for everyone. The atmosphere is very modern, bright, and enjoyable. Hip, but not in overdrive to scare old people like us. Make sure you get a reservation.

The staff was super friendly and totally attentive to the kids - unfortunately you don't experience something like that often ☺️ The little ones were able to crawl around in peace in the play area and an employee helped to lift the stroller on the steps in front of the entrance door - super nice and accommodating! Easter Sunday breakfast in the heart was a really great decision: cozy atmosphere, extra play area for small children so that parents and other guests could also enjoy it in a relaxed manner, extremely friendly and courteous service and excellent food. The breakfast selection is a wonderful opportunity for two (or more) people to choose 4 dishes in order to try as many different dishes as possible. We had an excellently seasoned shakschuka, delicious turquoise eggs and hearty hummus and vegetable sandwiches. Everything was lovingly prepared and overall not just a feast for the eyes, but a delight for the taste buds :-)! Great concept - creative chef - super friendly service - what more could you want?

Very nice ambience and a fine selection of food (also excellent vegan/vegetarian) and drinks. The truffle fries are a highlight and absolutely recommended. Excellent service- from the Ukrainian man who served us so kindly and another man who tolerated our poor German. They were friendly, made a great dish recommendation, and were generally knowledgeable about the food and wine. The atmosphere is lovely- tastefully decorated and not too loud. We will look forward to coming and sitting outdoors in the summer.

Dear team, As always, we were very satisfied with the extremely friendly service and the quality of the food. Unfortunately, you can only order food until 9 p.m. It seems a bit Franconian-bourgeois to us and doesn't fit in with a Mediterranean-style restaurant. Especially since our table was reserved for 8:30 p.m. and that made it quite stressful for us to choose from the variety in peace. Of course we’d love to come back again and again! A really beautifully restored and lovingly furnished restaurant with several different areas, very attractively decorated. The tables are pleasantly far apart, so you don't feel like your neighbors are overhearing your conversation. Particularly noteworthy is the extremely friendly, fast and competent service. The concept of selecting several smaller dishes that can then be shared and enjoyed together is also contemporary and appealing. Only The wine list could be expanded a little. Overall, I had a really nice evening and will be happy to come back, thank you very much!

An unforgettable evening!!! After a great concert right around the corner in the Redoutensaal, it was a stone's throw on foot to the heart of the venue. Reservations were easily possible by phone on the same day! Table for two, wonderful and relaxed atmosphere in the fullhouse, that's extraordinary!! The team was super friendly, no waiting at all, always in contact, almost like blind understanding!! We ordered the shared food menu for 2 people with a total of 6 dishes, which we had recommended. Well, I don't even want to put that into words anymore! If you don't try this, you've missed something in life. Despite all the subjectivity, they say: there is always room for improvement! This evening it was unbeatable for us here at the heart of it all! Maybe added: The very nice chef probably interpreted the expression on my face (completely correctly) when I enjoyed eating the baby back ribs and added half a portion on the house. ...what else can I say! The food was overpriced, unfortunately it was too loud for me, and I'm not usually sensitive when it comes to that. I had the pasta dish with walnuts, and unfortunately, it didn't taste good because it was very dry and monotonously chewy. There wasn't much choice for vegetarians, in my opinion. I probably won't go back.

It's beautiful there, and apart from the pancakes, it was really good, but we knew we were going to be kicked out after 120 minutes. With a bill of €115, I think that's completely unreasonable, and so we'll unfortunately not be going there again. I can either stay as long as I want or I'll stop being a customer. What a shame.

The food (we had 8 different dishes) was very good. Aperol and IPA were a perfect match. The service was friendly and very attentive. All in all we had a lovely evening. Unfortunately we were charged €20 more. However, I only noticed this when I got home. On the phone I was promised that the evening billing would be clarified. I'm still waiting for the promised callback.

Very nice ambiance, friendly chef, who also explains the concept and the story behind it. Since I was alone, I ordered three dishes and was well advised. Crispy chicken, good fries, tasty carrots, and great sauces. Those who prefer a more oriental flavor will also find something to their liking here.

The food was really great, the waitresses were engaging. Unfortunately, everything from the bottle of water to the food took forever and we sat there for a really long time. Deceleration, yes! But a bit annoying.

Friendly staff, nice setting, mediocre bar-food te share. espresso served in an erormous size mug? not a good idea. some nice beers, ruined by serving it in a silly lemonade glass.

Exciting gastro concept where you can choose different food compositions. During our visit there were very different plates to choose from with starters, side dishes or main courses. Each plate focuses on a food combination. The concept is suitable for couples or groups who like to try many different flavors as the plates are shared. Alternatively, there was also a very small selection of ready-made dishes on the menu. We liked the concept, but we also have suggestions for improvement: There were two of us and 3 plates each were brought in two waves, so we got 6 plates in total - and dessert at the end. In our case, the dishes came exactly in the order in which they were printed on the menu. As a result, we first had a starter and two side dishes and then in the second wave two meat dishes and a fish dish - completely without any side dishes. We think that the plates either have to be put together differently by the kitchen or you have to be able to choose the composition in which you want to eat the plates. The plates were all professionally cooked and tasted good. For the asking price of the individual plates, we found our six small dishes to be average - except for the beef main course, which we both enjoyed very much... but unfortunately we were already pretty full at this point. For around 75 euros (despite the Tuesday discount) we were just missing a little BÄM. We thought the evening was nice, but wouldn't go there again.
