Without words, four people were there today and wanted something to drink and eat. First we had to wait almost 30 minutes to get a table. Then after another 20 minutes the waitress said that we would like to order, to which she said for a moment that I would come straight away. Another 15 minutes passed and the waitress went to other tables and served other guests, after speaking again she said that she would not be taking orders for the next 40 minutes, which was also said to other guests. Impossible, something like that doesn't work. I cannot and will not visit this restaurant again nor recommend it. What other guests saw and left the restaurant angry.

A nice place for a multi-person trip. You can also go inside with your pet. The service could have been a little faster, but we were there in the off-season, in nice weather, many people were spending time at the lake, and I don't know if the service was limited. I recommend.

Nicely located but the prices are completely exorbitant. 9€ for a spaghetti ice cream... it doesn't even cost that much on Lake Chiemsee. A scoop of ice cream for €2 is also too much.

We had waffles twice each with cherries, cream and vanilla ice cream with a cappuccino. The coffee was drinkable, but it could definitely be better. The waffle was disappointing - the cream was just shy of sour, the cherries had no sauce... The waitress was stressed and not particularly friendly. Overall, at €27, far too expensive! Too bad

Reservations made by telephone on the same day were accommodated in a friendly manner. We even got a very good table. 5/5 Service really tried hard and without any mistakes. 4/5 Unfortunately the food was only okay or edible. That's a bit of a shame, but both fish dishes were super boring. Also slightly irritating that there are croquettes with the grilled fish as standard... 3/5 Price/performance: Really not a plus point. Beyond 80€ for two fish dishes, two aperitifs, a glass of wine and sparkling water. That doesn't have to be the case. 1/5 If I could eat pizza, I might go again, but anything else isn't worth it.

Overpriced ice cream, 2 euros for very small scoops and then a watery taste. The coconut ice cream barely tasted like coconut. Very disappointing.

We stopped there to have tea on our bike tour. We liked the ambience so much that we also had an incredibly delicious pizza. Really recommended 👍👍

We visited this restaurant on June 6, 2024 and were disappointed. The service and the food came after a long wait and unfortunately it didn't meet our expectations for the price. I think the prices are excessive, but the ambience is good because the Möhne is in front of you. Friendliness of the employees, especially the female service staff, was underground. I don't feel at home here like I do with friends, no, I had the feeling that they were disturbing. Unfortunately, this is a typical phenomenon when you look at the restaurants near the spa and rehabilitation clinics. The guests come of their own accord...

I ate pizza there twice. The first time the pizza was really bad. And the second time she was very good. The first time there was a lack of staff and hence the 60 minute wait including a bad pizza. In addition, not even bread with dip is given out for the waiting time. I know that from Italian restaurants in Düsseldorf, where I come from. Pizza rolls with herb butter cost €5.5.. an absolute disgrace in my opinion. You also have to pay extra for the garlic on the pizza (€3). Normally you always get chili and garlic oil for free... the view of the lake is of course great! Conclusion: if you're lucky, the pizza tastes good and you get ripped off for unnecessary things.

So kindness looks different... I wait 25 minutes until a waitress comes to the table and then at 3 p.m. I hear that the kitchen is closed for 1 hour. You should come back in 1 hour. So given the prices there, it's not at all appropriate to be so unfriendly Putting waitress to work... Because she conveyed it with an aggressive tone that I immediately got up and wouldn't visit this place again. I was there every day and I noticed that the waitress was always stressed and always let the guests feel it . Hospitality looks different...Never again and not recommended

We received great service and the food was simply delicious. Simply recommended. Price/performance was absolutely ok for us. 2 people complete with drinks €60 and there were large portions and fish once. I recommend this place

I was persuaded and invited, otherwise I would have given up. €4 for two average-sized scoops of ice cream is already borderline and where is that going to lead? Especially since the chocolate ice cream was not a taste experience. The orange ice cream was very tasty.

Unfortunately we weren't allowed to make a reservation or sit outside, even though there was space. Even taking the aperitifs was difficult, as was the food. As expected, it came with some traffic and not at the same time. When we pointed out the charred pizza 🍕 when we were serving it, we were told that we should have complained about it when it was "delivered". So - warning to all subsequent guests - order an empty plate immediately so that you can turn the pizza over immediately and, if necessary, complain about it. Steaks were good, dessert too. We had a bill of 750 euros - it was my birthday - and overall I was already disappointed.

Seit Jahrzehnten gehen wir bei Rocco essen, früher am Markt in Körbecke heute in den Seeterrassen. Immer und immer wieder gerne und nie gab es eine Enttäuschung! Wir hatten Antipasto Möhnesee - superlecker, ebenso die Schnecken überbacken und Caprese als Vorspeisen. Zum Hauptgang Bavette Frutti di Mare und Filetto al Pepe sowie eine Pizza Möhnesee. Hier kann man einfach alles genießen. Zum Schluss Espressi und zwei Limoncellos und der Abend war perfekt.

The service is intangible. Empty tables are not cleared and there is a long waiting time to order, eat and pay. The quality of the waffles we ate would have been ok for half the price. That's why I originally gave it 2 stars. But now the icing on the cake: the restaurant operator tries to delete the bad review by complaining to Google. Because of this, in my opinion, attempt to manipulate the rating system, there is still a star deduction.

I've been eating here every now and then for a long time. However, on my two visits this time, I was a little disappointed. I have the impression that the service and the food have deteriorated. A complaint about the salad was dismissed as “sorry, it can happen” (08/10/2023) -Image- On my next visit (August 12, 2023) I actually didn't get full for the first time with the menu I ordered. Unfortunately, we skimped on the fries. However, the taste was great (not just for me). The prices have been adjusted generously (yes, like everywhere else), but if you have known the restaurant for so long and they always served pizza rolls with the delicious dip in advance, which has now apparently been removed from the menu, then that is a real shame. However, the salads also come with pizza rolls. Unfortunately, a complaint about a pizza was not treated objectively or fairly. In the end, we had to pay for the uneaten pizza instead of finding an objective solution. Especially since the pizza, which was the fourth meal at the table, was only delivered when we were already half finished. We sat at a table of 4 people. When the food came it was very obvious that not everything fit on one table. Instead of independently offering a second table, we had to point this out ourselves. A drink was also delivered incorrectly. As long as there are no complaints, the friendliness is ok. All in all, I'm not used to visiting Rocco like this. The view and the location are of course great! Since I don't limit my rating to 2 visits, but rather see the entire package, I still give it 3*. Addition: However, after being accused of defamation by the restaurant (mail August 1st, 2024 from Google), I will no longer enter this restaurant. It's a shame, considering how often I've eaten there...

The location is fantastic and gelato very good but service was poor: the waitress was rude.

Besuch im Juli 2023. Die Waffeln die wir bekommen haben waren von schlechter Qualität und überteuert. Service ist überfordert und nicht greifbar. Und um es noch zu toppen wird auf Google gegen Schlechte Rezensionen mit Anwalt als "Verleumungsklage" vorgegangen.

We went to Rocco's for lunch on July 30, 2024. The indoor and outdoor areas were approximately 80% occupied around 12:30 p.m. We had to wait about 40 minutes for our salads, even though other guests at the neighboring tables who ordered later than us were served their meals much earlier. Basically the food was ok, but nothing special for the price (around 16 EUR). However, the service can be greatly improved. Sometimes you didn't see a waitress outside for 10-15 minutes. Other newly arrived guests left the premises without ordering. The used dishes often sat at the neighboring tables for a long time. This was also not taken away when serving at other tables. The service can still be significantly improved. There is a lack of foresight among the staff here.

We had dinner there 2 weeks ago. Great view, clean, friendly service. The steak was cooked perfectly. Vitello Tonato great. We have reserved for Sunday for the whole family. Will report.

I am very disappointed. As a couple we ordered 2 sundaes. A spaghetti strawberry cup and a kiwi cup. The strawberry cup didn't even come with fresh strawberries, even though it said so on the menu. They were old, musty, dark red frozen strawberries and the service was completely unreasonable and barely understood a word of German. "I'm not discussing it." Aha. Thanks for ripping off customers here. So we paid €20 for two spaghetti ice creams. Tasty is different.

We ate ice cream, it was tasty, the taste could be improved a bit. Prices are pretty good, you pay for the ambience with a view of the lake, staff are quick and friendly.

The price and quality of the food on offer do not match. Unfortunately, sauces are bought as ready-made products and not made in-house. But this is what you might expect at these prices. Some of the ice cream is too sweet, has an artificial taste and several varieties had coarse ice crystals, which is not allowed. Service is not particularly friendly. Even with few guests, drink orders take quite a long time. Unfortunately, only the location and the view are good. Then prefer a worse location and an appropriate price/quality ratio. This isn't about stinginess is cool.

Unfortunately we are not convinced. We find a 15 minute wait for drinks and over 1:15 hour for food to be too long. Without a hint of a delay from the service or a little attention from the kitchen in between, you will eventually become ungracious. Unfortunately the pizza was too limp. A pity!

Nice view of the lake. Ordered ice cream to take away for 4 people and paid 14 euros! Unfortunately it was a disaster in terms of taste and quality. The ice cream was full of ice crystals, which for me could mean hygiene problems if stored incorrectly. Which was also criticized across all varieties. Every supermarket ice cream is cheaper and tastes better.

The ambience is great. But that was it. Every Aro ice cream from Metro tastes more natural. For the price, all I can think of is: What a shame! Tourist trap, not recommended!

Modern ambience with a view of the Möhnesee. Outdoor area kept sterile. At “normal capacity” we were only served after about 40 minutes and only because we asked the waitress whether she would come to us too, her reaction was irritable. However, the group that sat down at the table next door much later was served before us. The service was sloppy and short. The waffles were almost cold, the ice cream was good.

Very very rude! After a rude waitress and a very long wait, we got up and wanted to leave, which was followed by a “you never have to come back” which won’t happen!

Even though the store was empty, we waited over 30 minutes for the drinks! After we asked why it took so long, the waitress said that if we didn't like it we should go somewhere else. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Service was very quick but can definitely work on being friendly. We were very divided when it came to eating... our fries were in the deep fryer for far too long and so was my schnitzel. It tasted very burnt. On the other hand, our children's fries were great. If you expect the same quality you should eat somewhere else. My wife's mushroom cream schnitzel was very onion heavy... nice atmosphere overall, but given the prices we expect much better quality food. Will probably only go there to have a drink.

The service was very annoyed, we were hardly given any time to choose something, which is difficult when you have to share a card with 6 people. When we asked if we could get a second card, we said no. The food came without a long wait and was quite okay, the lettuce leaves didn't seem that fresh anymore and the plates were very carelessly arranged. We won't go here again, if I'm willing to pay such a price, I expect friendliness and fresh food.

Today we were served by a very bad-tempered waitress who took our order in a hectic and annoyed manner. The food and drinks came very quickly. Unfortunately, the waffles seemed like they had either been kept warm for a long time or heated up in the microwave. The strawberries were also already fermented and had visibly rotten spots. Serving a plate like that to a guest is unbeatable in terms of disrespect. For a price of €11, that's a disgrace, especially since it's strawberry season at the moment....

During our bike tour along Lake Möhne, we took a coffee break at Rocco's. There is very tasty ice cream here.

Wir sind durch Zufall hier für eine Regenpause gelandet, die aufgrund der Wetterlage dann unerwartet länger gedauert hat. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und schnell. Kuchen, Waffeln und auch die Getränke waren sehr lecker. Nicht gerade super günstig, aber dafür sehr gut.

Delicious lunch, with beautiful view. When we returned to our motorcycles, all three of us had received a ticket for parking on the sidewalk. 55 euros. An expensive lunch, which we really enjoyed... We were neatly parked on the far right side of the sidewalk, with perhaps three meters of space between the motorcycle and the curb. You would say: enough space for all passers-by. But yes, it's not allowed...

We each got 2 scoops of ice cream in a waffle and were unfortunately VERY disappointed. The ice cream really tastes quite artificial and unfortunately is absolutely not worth 2 EUR per scoop.

Saturday afternoon, well attended. Service was nice but completely overwhelmed. Not a well-coordinated team. A pity.

We've been there several times now and mostly had bad luck. Pizza etc. leaves a lot to be desired. Cappuccino only lukewarm. The female waitress is usually in a bad mood and not necessarily the fastest :-( But €10.50 for a brittle cup with just three scoops of ice cream and some cream is just too much in my opinion. I then had to tell the gentleman who prepared the ice cream that the sprinkles and sauce were missing.

Beautifully located on Möhnesee. Very busy on sunny days and despite there being plenty of parking spaces, the parking situation can be difficult. The employees there are all extremely friendly, on-the-fly and accommodating. In my opinion, the prices are average and fair if you take the good location into account. In summary: "Recommended and always worth a visit!"

In a pleasant atmosphere with a view of the lake, we enjoy the excellent pizza and delicious ice cream at Rocco. The staff is friendly and courteous. The restaurant makes a clean, well-kept impression. For us, this restaurant by the lake is always our first choice.

You have to dare to have a cappuccino for 4 euros, especially since it only tastes mediocre. It was not possible to get a scoop of ice cream with it. From two scoops onwards you only get one scoop of ice cream. Outrageous. This doesn't work for parents with children. The staff is unfriendly and the selection of cakes doesn't whet your appetite for more. I will no longer visit the location and would not recommend it to anyone.

Best ice cream at Möhnesee and the pizza is also good. Not exactly cheap, but in a good location near Lake Möhne.

There was a fat black hair in the ice cream, the waffle was dry and the fries weren't salted. We asked for salt and didn't get any. The ice cream itself tastes like cheap cocoa powder and the vanilla ice cream tastes like chemicals and soap.

Nice shop but the staff is very moody. Especially the gentleman at the front who handed out the ice cream was totally anti-social after a complaint and in front of other people just because I didn't want to eat the wrong ice cream that I hadn't ordered. It doesn't work at all

We only ate ice cream, but it was too creamy for us and the different types of ice cream weren't that tasty - unfortunately! For 2 per ball it's too expensive...

The staff was extremely unfriendly. We waited forever for the food and weren't asked once if we wanted anything else or anything like that. When we were told that the food was very salty, we were only told that they didn't prepare the food fresh. They said that these were finished products anyway and they couldn't do anything about the taste. The food was extremely overpriced and there was no accommodation whatsoever. So if you like unfriendly staff and bad, expensive ready-made food in a nice location, this is the place for you.
