Rocco! The good address on Lake Möhne. Rocco's is a favorite place to stop. Great food, delicious ice cream, and wonderful sundaes in many variations. And if you complain that the scoop of ice cream is too expensive, you'll get fantastic quality, freshness, selection, and always a friendly, honest smile! The beautiful view of Lake Möhne makes the Rocco experience perfect! Dear Rocco team, stay the way you are! We'd be happy to come back anytime.

The be-all and end-all in a restaurant is friendliness towards the customer. There's room for improvement at this location. You don't feel welcome; no one asks if the food tastes good; you're simply served with the most basic of words. Hospitality and warmth are different.

Good food in a good location. The restaurant is clean and well-maintained, with a view of the Möhne River. The staff could be a bit friendlier. However, I find the prices quite steep.

Great place with a great view. Unfortunately, when the weather is good and it's very busy, you have to wait a bit for service. However, the food and drinks were quite good, and the ice cream is also very tasty.

I just have to get used to the prices; I'm not ready to pay €9 for a spaghetti ice cream. I only had a coffee. Otherwise, the service was friendly and the atmosphere was modern and chic.

2/5 stars, also only because a last-minute reservation was possible despite the beautiful weather and the lake view from the ambiance. After visiting this restaurant, I seriously wonder if the staff and kitchen are trained. We ordered bruschetta as a starter and a pizza and a pasta dish for the main course. It took about 20 minutes for the drinks (a Coke and a rhubarb spritzer) to arrive. That's really long. But the highlight was actually the long wait for the food! After over an hour, I was served the bruschetta AND the pasta dish at the same time (bruschetta = starter, see menu "cold starter" below). Meanwhile, my companion had to wait even longer for the main course! The bruschetta was nicely presented. Unfortunately, it looked better than it tasted—it was completely oversalted! The pasta dish didn't score well either. The pasta was overcooked, not al dente at all. What a shame! After another 20 minutes of waiting, my companion got the pizza. It tasted okay, but the pizza base was completely black (by the way, I mean really black, not the patchy discoloration on the pizza base, which is normal when it's baked in a stone oven)! The next highlight was that the staff was already cleaning up the place while we were just getting our food on the table. You just can't do that! An apology from the service for the long wait would have been very appropriate; elsewhere, you get a free drink if you wait a long time! Our glasses were quickly empty, and here, too, the service lacked the necessary attention – even though they're actually making their money from the drinks, pure miscalculation! Overall, a lovely restaurant with an excellent location and plenty of room for improvement!

The location was very nice, the food could have been better, except for the fact that we waited over an hour for it. The waitress poured my drink (a 0.5 liter of Coke) directly onto my phone and my pants. The evening was ruined, but apart from a quick "I'm sorry" and a silly "I'm sorry," nothing else came. A bit too little for such a messed-up evening. The bill of over €115 came relatively quickly, though. If I don't have enough money to pay decent wages and decent salaries to employees, maybe I shouldn't be driving a Lamborghini or something similar.

The only positive thing is the location. Unfortunately, the staff were very unfriendly, and I've had better ice cream.

The pizza was incredibly delicious 😋. Such a wonderful, fluffy crust—you'd happily eat the crust too 😉. The meat dish was also very tasty and generously portioned. The view of Lake Möhne from the terrace is magnificent 😊

Great food, but the service could be more attentive. We had two pizzas that were delicious, but the knives desperately need sharpening!

We were only there for ice cream, but I have to say the ice cream is absolutely delicious. It was especially served in (homemade?) waffle cones. The atmosphere is pleasant, too; even though all the tables were full, the staff was quick and friendly. We'll definitely be back 🍨

We had a fantastic fish platter. Admittedly, it wasn't exactly cheap, but it was truly delicious, like a little vacation by the sea. The staff were very friendly and efficient. We'll be back :-)

The quality of the snack bar is okay. Italian pizza is different for me. Both the staff and the food have deteriorated considerably. I wonder why they ask if everything was okay with the food if they don't care at all. They didn't respond. The plate with 3/4 of my pizza was returned because I could only eat the crust. The rest was inedible. There was no concession, and when I asked about it, they responded with annoyance, saying it was only a small piece. I politely declined the "ice cream to go," because that's not so special anymore either. Definitely the last time for us!

The service was poor and the staff weren't friendly. The food was okay but not good, but it was very nicely decorated.

We were able to enjoy a great meal here outside of mealtimes until 3 p.m. However, I think if you're traveling with a group of people, it might be better to reserve a table, like we did.

The pizzas were of a "snack-level" quality. They were very watery and only okay. They were edible, but nothing special. The ice cream was also very watery. A scoop costs €2, which is way overpriced for what you get.

Ice cream is touristy and expensive. The fruit ice creams, like banana and strawberry, are totally artificial. The ice cream arrived quickly after ordering.

Super disgusting ice cream, €9 for a sundae is €8 too much. Mass production with low-quality food. The coffee was okay, but we won't be back.

The restaurant is located near the lake, close to the parking lot. The wait staff barely speaks German, the waffles are delicious, the vanilla ice cream doesn't taste like vanilla ice cream at all, and coffee is only served with regular milk (it's not lactose-free, so it's not good if you have an allergy). The interior ambiance is reminiscent of a cafeteria. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it.

The ice cream was delicious. Friendly service, but it's a bit limited given the sheer volume of customers in good weather. The ice cream arrived quickly, though. The location is average, not idyllic 🙃 touristy, in fact. The price reflects the touristy location... So, it's a bit pricey.

Großer heller Innenraum. Viel Platz um mich herum. Freundliche, aufmerksame Bedienung. Leckeres Essen. Tolle Lasagne und Pizza Möhnesee. Leider kostet ein Glas 0,2 Primitivo 8 Euro. Finde ich übertrieben. War ein schöner Abend komme gerne wieder

I like standing in line there to get the best ice cream around. I especially like orange and Möhnesee. So, even if it's busy, the wait is worth it, and the staff is super quick.

A very nice restaurant. The food was very tasty. Everything fine. But be careful with parking!!!! We were there on a public holiday. The public order office employees watched us from their cars to see if we had bought a ticket.

Great food, terrible service. Unfreundlich. When we ordered, we asked for water, and the waitress replied in a sassy tone, “Water isn’t a drink.” Thankfully, we got our food in a fairly reasonable amount of time, and it was really good! However, there was a table behind us with a similar-sized group that was here before us, and by the time we left, they were still waiting for their meals. It’s disappointing that the wait staff seem to have a reputation for poor service, because the food and atmosphere here are genuinely excellent!

Great place, we ordered an ice cream, if I had paid attention beforehand and seen that the scoop of ice cream cost €2 I would have gone further. However, we distorted it there and the service was included in the price, which then worked.

Unfortunately we didn't get a chance to test the really nice looking restaurant. Google said it was open Tuesday. Then the rude awakening on site... A handwritten note… closed 04/22/25…. Nowadays you can quickly change and update the opening times on Google!

The ice cream was an absolute disappointment. Any ice cream from the supermarket would have been better. It was watery and didn't taste anywhere near what we ordered. The coffee variety had no hint of coffee flavor, the peppermint variety only tasted like flavoring and coloring, and the Rocher variety was a complete disappointment. For €2 per scoop you just don't get what you expect. The staff was unfriendly and annoyed. The location by the lake is nice, but that's about it.

Always nice when the weather is nice

When the weather was nice, I just got a cup of ice cream to take away. The queue in front of the stand was quite good, but the ice cream tasted great. The price of €10 was generous, but in my opinion the portion was just right. And on the bench with a view of Möhnesee, it was really relaxing👍.

Although I live very close by, I went to Rocco for the first time today and ate a Hawaiian pizza......and a delicious ice cream for dessert.....I give full stars from the bottom of my heart.....Thank you guys...I'll definitely be back......👍

We found the ice cream scoop extremely expensive at €2.00. And the taste left something to be desired. We were disappointed.

Short and sweet. -Raw waffle that doesn't taste good. -Ice cream taste based on chemistry. (Coconut) and the price is utopian. -Service personnel are unfriendly and don't know the ice cream menu by heart if you want to ask something. Won't come here again. I'd be happy to spend the money elsewhere.

Unfortunately very dissatisfied. The ice cream didn't taste good at all, it was just sweet, hazelnut and Amarena, both had almost no taste at all, there's no need to talk about the price these days, it's a shame the shop is nice in itself, maybe the food tastes good, I can't judge that, you're lucky with your location, you've never had such bad ice cream before.....

No, I can't because I waited almost an hour for someone from the staff to come, so to put it briefly, no one came. Yes, after 1 hour and about 10 minutes I was finally asked what I wanted to order, but I have never experienced such unfriendly and stressed staff at a fast food restaurant where things are really hectic. Conclusion I only give the stars for the ambience, everything else is a flop!!!🤷‍♀️🤔🤨

Unfortunately, my visit to this café was a complete disappointment. The waffles were far too expensive and absolutely not worth the money. They were dry, sticky, and tasted stale. On top of that, the staff were very rude and bad-tempered; instead of friendly and welcoming, they seemed annoyed and disinterested. I will definitely not visit this café again and therefore cannot recommend it.

We wanted a good Italian ice cream and an espresso and a coffee. The ice cream per scoop €2.20 and a touch of cream for €2.00 is well over paid. The chocolate ice cream was good, the strawberry ice cream didn't taste like natural ingredients. The espresso was good but served without water. The service was not in a good mood. The view of the lake from the front row wasn't as spectacular as others judged it to be. The atmosphere in the room was rather cold, no furnishings to make you feel comfortable. All in all too expensive and inhospitable. Too bad!

A nice café with a view of the Möhnesee. We ordered waffles, ice cream and drinks. The coffee tastes very tasty, you can tell that it is made in a barista machine. The waffles were delicious and fluffy, the ice cream was very creamy and a good portion.

We were hungry after a long walk there. The offer is great (Italian cuisine and ice cream parlor under one roof), and everything tasted extremely good. Everything looked fresh and homemade. We'll come back when we're nearby.

Architektonisch eine Perle am Möhnesee in Toplage. Das teuerste Eis wphl im Kreis Soest (mit 2 €, die Kugel) ist dem wohl geschuldet. Leider schmeckte der Cappuccino nach Muckefuck. Dafür war das Bier vom Fass sehr lecker.

Here you can get very delicious waffles with hot cherries, cream and vanilla ice cream. The ambience, service and location on Möhnesee are just right! Tutto bene! :)

Without words, four people were there today and wanted something to drink and eat. First we had to wait almost 30 minutes to get a table. Then after another 20 minutes the waitress said that we would like to order, to which she said for a moment that I would come straight away. Another 15 minutes passed and the waitress went to other tables and served other guests, after speaking again she said that she would not be taking orders for the next 40 minutes, which was also said to other guests. Impossible, something like that doesn't work. I cannot and will not visit this restaurant again nor recommend it. What other guests saw and left the restaurant angry.

A nice place for a multi-person trip. You can also go inside with your pet. The service could have been a little faster, but we were there in the off-season, in nice weather, many people were spending time at the lake, and I don't know if the service was limited. I recommend.
