A very nice restaurant. The food was very tasty. Everything fine. But be careful with parking!!!! We were there on a public holiday. The public order office employees watched us from their cars to see if we had bought a ticket.

Great food, terrible service. Unfreundlich. When we ordered, we asked for water, and the waitress replied in a sassy tone, “Water isn’t a drink.” Thankfully, we got our food in a fairly reasonable amount of time, and it was really good! However, there was a table behind us with a similar-sized group that was here before us, and by the time we left, they were still waiting for their meals. It’s disappointing that the wait staff seem to have a reputation for poor service, because the food and atmosphere here are genuinely excellent!

I can only judge the ice cream and unfortunately it didn't taste good at all. Didn't even recognize the variety.

Great place, we ordered an ice cream, if I had paid attention beforehand and seen that the scoop of ice cream cost €2 I would have gone further. However, we distorted it there and the service was included in the price, which then worked.

The ice cream was an absolute disappointment. Any ice cream from the supermarket would have been better. It was watery and didn't taste anywhere near what we ordered. The coffee variety had no hint of coffee flavor, the peppermint variety only tasted like flavoring and coloring, and the Rocher variety was a complete disappointment. For €2 per scoop you just don't get what you expect. The staff was unfriendly and annoyed. The location by the lake is nice, but that's about it.

Always nice when the weather is nice

When the weather was nice, I just got a cup of ice cream to take away. The queue in front of the stand was quite good, but the ice cream tasted great. The price of €10 was generous, but in my opinion the portion was just right. And on the bench with a view of Möhnesee, it was really relaxing👍.

Although I live very close by, I went to Rocco for the first time today and ate a Hawaiian pizza......and a delicious ice cream for dessert.....I give full stars from the bottom of my heart.....Thank you guys...I'll definitely be back......👍

We found the ice cream scoop extremely expensive at €2.00. And the taste left something to be desired. We were disappointed.

Short and sweet. -Raw waffle that doesn't taste good. -Ice cream taste based on chemistry. (Coconut) and the price is utopian. -Service personnel are unfriendly and don't know the ice cream menu by heart if you want to ask something. Won't come here again. I'd be happy to spend the money elsewhere.

No, I can't because I waited almost an hour for someone from the staff to come, so to put it briefly, no one came. Yes, after 1 hour and about 10 minutes I was finally asked what I wanted to order, but I have never experienced such unfriendly and stressed staff at a fast food restaurant where things are really hectic. Unfortunately, my visit to this café was a complete disappointment. The waffles were far too expensive and absolutely not worth the money. They were dry, sticky, and tasted stale. On top of that, the staff were very rude and bad-tempered; instead of friendly and welcoming, they seemed annoyed and disinterested. I will definitely not visit this café again and therefore cannot recommend it.

We wanted a good Italian ice cream and an espresso and a coffee. The ice cream per scoop €2.20 and a touch of cream for €2.00 is well over paid. The chocolate ice cream was good, the strawberry ice cream didn't taste like natural ingredients. The espresso was good but served without water. The service was not in a good mood. The view of the lake from the front row wasn't as spectacular as others judged it to be. The atmosphere in the room was rather cold, no furnishings to make you feel comfortable. All in all too expensive and inhospitable. Too bad!

A nice café with a view of the Möhnesee. We ordered waffles, ice cream and drinks. The coffee tastes very tasty, you can tell that it is made in a barista machine. The waffles were delicious and fluffy, the ice cream was very creamy and a good portion.

Architektonisch eine Perle am Möhnesee in Toplage. Das teuerste Eis wphl im Kreis Soest (mit 2 €, die Kugel) ist dem wohl geschuldet. Leider schmeckte der Cappuccino nach Muckefuck. Dafür war das Bier vom Fass sehr lecker.

Without words, four people were there today and wanted something to drink and eat. First we had to wait almost 30 minutes to get a table. Then after another 20 minutes the waitress said that we would like to order, to which she said for a moment that I would come straight away. Another 15 minutes passed and the waitress went to other tables and served other guests, after speaking again she said that she would not be taking orders for the next 40 minutes, which was also said to other guests. Impossible, something like that doesn't work. I cannot and will not visit this restaurant again nor recommend it. What other guests saw and left the restaurant angry.

A nice place for a multi-person trip. You can also go inside with your pet. The service could have been a little faster, but we were there in the off-season, in nice weather, many people were spending time at the lake, and I don't know if the service was limited. I recommend.

We had waffles twice each with cherries, cream and vanilla ice cream with a cappuccino. The coffee was drinkable, but it could definitely be better. The waffle was disappointing - the cream was just shy of sour, the cherries had no sauce... The waitress was stressed and not particularly friendly. Overall, at €27, far too expensive! Too bad

Reservations made by telephone on the same day were accommodated in a friendly manner. We even got a very good table. 5/5 Service really tried hard and without any mistakes. 4/5 Unfortunately the food was only okay or edible. That's a bit of a shame, but both fish dishes were super boring. Also slightly irritating that there are croquettes with the grilled fish as standard... 3/5 Price/performance: Really not a plus point. Beyond 80€ for two fish dishes, two aperitifs, a glass of wine and sparkling water. That doesn't have to be the case. 1/5 If I could eat pizza, I might go again, but anything else isn't worth it.

Overpriced ice cream, 2 euros for very small scoops and then a watery taste. The coconut ice cream barely tasted like coconut. Very disappointing.

We visited this restaurant on June 6, 2024 and were disappointed. The service and the food came after a long wait and unfortunately it didn't meet our expectations for the price. I think the prices are excessive, but the ambience is good because the Möhne is in front of you. Friendliness of the employees, especially the female service staff, was underground. I ate pizza there twice. The first time the pizza was really bad. And the second time she was very good. The first time there was a lack of staff and hence the 60 minute wait including a bad pizza. In addition, not even bread with dip is given out for the waiting time. I know that from Italian restaurants in Düsseldorf, where I come from. Pizza rolls with herb butter cost €5.5.. an absolute disgrace in my opinion. You also have to pay extra for the garlic on the pizza (€3). Normally you always get chili and garlic oil for free... the view of the lake is of course great! Conclusion: if you're lucky, the pizza tastes good and you get ripped off for unnecessary things.

So kindness looks different... I wait 25 minutes until a waitress comes to the table and then at 3 p.m. I hear that the kitchen is closed for 1 hour. You should come back in 1 hour. So given the prices there, it's not at all appropriate to be so unfriendly Putting waitress to work... Because she conveyed it with an aggressive tone that I immediately got up and wouldn't visit this place again. We received great service and the food was simply delicious. Simply recommended. Price/performance was absolutely ok for us. 2 people complete with drinks €60 and there were large portions and fish once. I recommend this place

I was persuaded and invited, otherwise I would have given up. €4 for two average-sized scoops of ice cream is already borderline and where is that going to lead? Especially since the chocolate ice cream was not a taste experience. The orange ice cream was very tasty.

Unfortunately we weren't allowed to make a reservation or sit outside, even though there was space. Even taking the aperitifs was difficult, as was the food. As expected, it came with some traffic and not at the same time. When we pointed out the charred pizza 🍕 when we were serving it, we were told that we should have complained about it when it was "delivered". So - warning to all subsequent guests - order an empty plate immediately so that you can turn the pizza over immediately and, if necessary, complain about it. Steaks were good, dessert too. We had a bill of 750 euros - it was my birthday - and overall I was already disappointed.

Seit Jahrzehnten gehen wir bei Rocco essen, früher am Markt in Körbecke heute in den Seeterrassen. Immer und immer wieder gerne und nie gab es eine Enttäuschung! Wir hatten Antipasto Möhnesee - superlecker, ebenso die Schnecken überbacken und Caprese als Vorspeisen. Zum Hauptgang Bavette Frutti di Mare und Filetto al Pepe sowie eine Pizza Möhnesee. Hier kann man einfach alles genießen. Zum Schluss Espressi und zwei Limoncellos und der Abend war perfekt.

The service is intangible. Empty tables are not cleared and there is a long waiting time to order, eat and pay. The quality of the waffles we ate would have been ok for half the price. That's why I originally gave it 2 stars. But now the icing on the cake: the restaurant operator tries to delete the bad review by complaining to Google. Because of this, in my opinion, attempt to manipulate the rating system, there is still a star deduction.

The location is fantastic and gelato very good but service was poor: the waitress was rude.

I've been eating here every now and then for a long time. However, on my two visits this time, I was a little disappointed. I have the impression that the service and the food have deteriorated. A complaint about the salad was dismissed as “sorry, it can happen” (08/10/2023) -Image- On my next visit (August 12, 2023) I actually didn't get full for the first time with the menu I ordered. Unfortunately, we skimped on the fries. However, the taste was great (not just for me). The prices have been adjusted generously (yes, like everywhere else), but if you have known the restaurant for so long and they always served pizza rolls with the delicious dip in advance, which has now apparently been removed from the menu, then that is a real shame. However, the salads also come with pizza rolls. Unfortunately, a complaint about a pizza was not treated objectively or fairly. In the end, we had to pay for the uneaten pizza instead of finding an objective solution. Especially since the pizza, which was the fourth meal at the table, was only delivered when we were already half finished. We sat at a table of 4 people. When the food came it was very obvious that not everything fit on one table. Instead of independently offering a second table, we had to point this out ourselves. A drink was also delivered incorrectly. As long as there are no complaints, the friendliness is ok. All in all, I'm not used to visiting Rocco like this. The view and the location are of course great! Since I don't limit my rating to 2 visits, but rather see the entire package, I still give it 3*. Addition: However, after being accused of defamation by the restaurant (mail August 1st, 2024 from Google), I will no longer enter this restaurant. It's a shame, considering how often I've eaten there...

Besuch im Juli 2023. Die Waffeln die wir bekommen haben waren von schlechter Qualität und überteuert. Service ist überfordert und nicht greifbar. Und um es noch zu toppen wird auf Google gegen Schlechte Rezensionen mit Anwalt als "Verleumungsklage" vorgegangen.

Leider ist dieses Lokal nicht zu empfehlen. Der Aperol Spritz ein Hauch gefärbtes Wasser. Auch auf Reklamation pampige Reaktion des Personals. Salattellet,lieblos ohne Geschmack überteuert.

We went to Rocco's for lunch on July 30, 2024. The indoor and outdoor areas were approximately 80% occupied around 12:30 p.m. We had to wait about 40 minutes for our salads, even though other guests at the neighboring tables who ordered later than us were served their meals much earlier. Basically the food was ok, but nothing special for the price (around 16 EUR). However, the service can be greatly improved. Sometimes you didn't see a waitress outside for 10-15 minutes. Other newly arrived guests left the premises without ordering. The used dishes often sat at the neighboring tables for a long time. This was also not taken away when serving at other tables. The service can still be significantly improved. There is a lack of foresight among the staff here.

I am very disappointed. As a couple we ordered 2 sundaes. A spaghetti strawberry cup and a kiwi cup. The strawberry cup didn't even come with fresh strawberries, even though it said so on the menu. They were old, musty, dark red frozen strawberries and the service was completely unreasonable and barely understood a word of German. "I'm not discussing it." Aha. Thanks for ripping off customers here. So we paid €20 for two spaghetti ice creams. Tasty is different.

Even with few guests, drink orders take quite a long time. Unfortunately, only the location and the view are good. Then prefer a worse location and an appropriate price/quality ratio.
