Great ambience, large portions, good value for money

Officially open until 11 p.m., but the big movement of chairs started at 9:30 p.m. - so clumsily that you almost tripped over them. While everyone was still trying to enjoy the evening, the last round was announced and the bill was on the table at exactly 10 p.m. There wasn't really a relaxed atmosphere. Unfortunately, the food also matched: the burger we ordered came without the accompanying fries. They were only added when asked - but of course the burger was already cold by then. A small detail that reinforced the impression that it was less about the guests and more about getting off work quickly. You didn't really feel welcome, more like someone who was just barely tolerated but shouldn't stay too long. It's a shame, because with a little more attention the evening could have taken a completely different turn.

We chose this "restaurant" because it was open until 11 p.m. and we thought we could eat in peace and quiet for 2.5 hours and sit together without time pressure. When we arrived at 8:30 p.m. we were given a table in the last corner out of sight of any service, although there were plenty of more suitable tables available. Well, I waited for ages and then ordered. When asked, the fries with the burger were brought almost 20 minutes late. Then the candles of the remaining tables were blown out and at 9:15 p.m. a waitress began to clear the unoccupied tables quite provocatively (i.e. pepper, salt, etc.) in order to loudly, probably set up for breakfast. Still ok, but the tough thing was that at half past ten she started pushing the chairs from the neighboring table across the room loudly and visibly annoyed. I myself come from the catering industry and even if you get annoyed and want to get off work, you can't take your dissatisfaction with your job and working hours out on the customer in this way. At exactly 10 p.m. all the tables were promptly collected and the chairs were put up at the empty tables. Food was ok, but the mayonnaise and ketchup packets could also be thrown a little nicer on the table. We actually had a lot of fun and we just had fun because we somehow couldn't understand what was going on, but for guests who really value a cozy and nice atmosphere, the restaurant should reconsider either the staff or the opening times. 💁‍♀️

Great ambience, with a great view of the Möhnesee and the Delecker basin. We sat in the front row and of course even my dog ​​was allowed to come along; of course there was drinking water for him, even in several places. Great drinks and great food in the best location, right on the lake and plenty of parking! Very happy again

Waren seit langer Zeit mal wieder im Geronimo zum Sparerips essen. Und was soll ich sagen?……… die Dinger sind immer noch Mega. Der Service versteht seinen Job. Gerne wieder auch wenn wir 1 Stunde anreisen müssen.

After a meal with sand on our plate, we simply waited forever for a cocoa, which was supposed to be on the house anyway because of our complaint. I even had to run after the cocoa to the counter and ask to FINALLY pay. We used to love going there, but now we prefer to go somewhere else.

Perfect all around. Service friendly, attentive and super fast. The food came super quickly and finally a perfect portion size, not too little and not overly large. The taste is really delicious, from the homemade iced tea to the main course to the coffee and cake. The ambience invites you to feel good with great attention to detail. It's a shame it's not at home...

The breakfast buffet on Sunday for 17.90 euros is a joke. Coffee, juice and water are extra. No fish, no Bircher muesli, no pancakes. A type of bread, baked rolls. Average quality. The coffee, well. There were only a few people present for breakfast. No wonder. I can also have breakfast at home.

My favorite restaurant, I always enjoy coming here, whether by motorbike or car, you can always find a parking space. Great ambience, super delicious food, great team and the prices are reasonable.

Have been there twice so far and both times were out of season and not at peak times. Beautiful blockhouse style store with typical furnishings. Comfortable and very stable chairs made of solid wood both with and without armrests. Particularly interesting if, like me, you have a bit more on your plate. You don't like squeezing yourself into normal-width chairs with armrests. Very friendly staff with a good sense of humor and always there when you need them. But the highlight is the food, very, very tasty burgers and super crispy side dishes. Had delicious sweet potato fries, wedges and also the Twister fries. Can really recommend.

It's ok but not recommended. Little selection and misleading prices. The burgers are ordered and people ask for fries without mentioning that 2 handfuls of fries cost a 4€ surcharge. Service was one waitress unfriendly and one friendly. The ambience and the view of the Möhnesee are very nice and pleasant for me - the only reason why you should come again - the food is available in countless restaurants/cafés at a better price-performance ratio

Could have gone better. Unfortunately we were greeted extremely unfriendly by a lady. After some back and forth a place was found for us. As we sat down, we saw the waitress whispering about us. This was very unpleasant for us as guests. Accordingly, the mood was already dampened. When the food arrived it was fine. It didn't convince us, perhaps due to the unfriendly reception. The feta cheese got cold and hard very quickly and we got 3 small pizza rolls, the fries for €4 were very small. All in all, it's a great shame. It was our second time at Geronimo's and we were really happy, but when we walked in the door and were greeted like that, it simply ruined the evening. We won't be coming back for dinner... The drinks such as the milkshakes are great.

We all really liked the very attentive service. She brilliantly mastered serving the large group to everyone's satisfaction. Cakes, coffee and the warm dishes were very tasty and in sufficient quantities.

The food was solid and served quickly - perfect if you want an uncomplicated meal. The furnishings are simple, but the chairs could be a bit more comfortable. The service was friendly and attentive, even if special requests were unfortunately not taken into account. Overall, a pleasant restaurant for a quick visit, with potential for an even better experience.

I've just been to Geronimo again for a long time. I actually wanted to let off some steam here, but it's not worth it because I can't put it into words, I've never experienced such unfriendly and listless service. JUICE STORE. NEVER AGAIN!!! ZERO STARS FOR SO MUCH STUPIDITY.

The location is great, direct view of the lake, but more than disappointed with the food and drinks. We visited with 6 people. Unfortunately, none of the dishes tasted really good. I would almost say it was one of the worst burgers I've eaten in a long time. We tried various iced teas, they tasted like syrup filled with water. We told the waitress that the food wasn't convincing, and unfortunately the bill didn't complete the overall picture. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio isn't right here at all. We went home disappointed. Unfortunately I can't recommend it.

Stopped here for lunch on a bike tour today. Great, cozy atmosphere and very tasty food! Particularly noteworthy is the very friendly service. Even though she was alone, she served everyone friendly and quickly. You didn't have to wait for anything. Big compliment!

The food sucks! The burgers were really not good and quite expensive. Unfortunately, the spritzers are just super sweet syrup with water and ice. We paid almost €50 for 2 burgers and 2 drinks. I really expect more for that. Then rather Burger King.

Went there for the first time today. The food was tasty and sufficient. The service staff were all very friendly. Before we left I went to the toilet again and unfortunately had to watch as a service employee came out of the cabin and left the toilet without washing her hands. That doesn't work at all in the restaurant industry. Therefore only 3 stars in the overall rating.

Were there with around 25 motorcycles. Had reserved in advance. Otherwise we wouldn't have had much space. Even upstairs, outside on the balcony. Just for us. Enjoyed the apple pie again

I had a delicious steak with sweet potato fries, which unfortunately were cold🥶 but otherwise would have tasted bad, and there was some really great herbs/curry butter and the view of the Möhnesee might be a reason to come back again. Otherwise there was enough parking space and a nice concept for the restaurant

The selection wasn't very satisfactory for a burger joint. We've had better experiences. Unfortunately, we weren't asked how we wanted the patties. So we got meat fried twice to death. ;-( Called 30 minutes in advance and asked if there was still room for two people. This was confirmed to us and we were told we could come over. We then gave our names specifically for confirmation. When we got there 25 minutes later they said, "We are fully booked and there are no more spaces available"! When we were told about the phone call, we were reluctantly assigned a place next to the door!

We have never experienced so little flexibility. We wanted to reserve a table in the morning for the evening, but that wasn't possible. People still understand that. So we went back in the evening with 6 people. A nice waitress directed us away from the terrace at the back and we should look at the front porch to see if there was anything else available. No sooner said than done. Coincidentally, two three-person tables next to each other were still available. Great…pushed together and waited for service. She said that it didn't work that way and that they wouldn't order and pay separately at each table. With a plausible explanation everything would have been fine, but we didn't understand that.

I got to know "Geronimo" as one of the biker meeting places on the Möhne. But it is also - or mainly - an American style restaurant. Wooden terrace overlooking the vehicles and the lake. A varied menu with burgers, chili con carne, cakes. But especially the appealing, extravagant interior with wooden Indians, thick ceiling beams, an unusual toilet facility and many little eye-catchers. Today's cake, raspberry chocolate on a peanut base, was quite big and really tasty 👍🏼. I prefer the small stops, e.g. Wolf's Revier, for gas conversations, but here I can eat well after a long walk through the Arnsberg Forest.

We ate a lot last week (first week of September 24) and were generally satisfied with the staff. There was a very friendly employee and some less attentive and even unfriendly employees. The quality was just what you would expect in a biker bar, but nothing more. today, Monday September 16th. 8:15 p.m., the unfriendliness of the employees couldn't be surpassed. There was nothing left to eat... ok. Guests were welcomed and complimented with the words: At first there was nothing going on and now people are coming, but the kitchen is closed... between the lines you could hear that it was best to have a quick drink and then disappear... the drinks on the weekend, e.g. The rum with the cocoa was twice as much as today, the price was the same... we had the feeling: a complete rip-off today.. We don't have to have that anymore... find other stupid people who will put up with it.

For us it's always worth a visit. The service is great considering the size. The service is quick and friendly. As a biker you also feel very welcome. What we have eaten so far has always been delicious. Prices are ok. The view of the lake is simply great. Mixed audience.

Het restaurant biedt een goede prijs-kwaliteit verhouding en is zeker een aanrader.De bediening is vriendelijk en attent. Na lange tijd niet meer in Duitsland te vertoeven heb ik nog eens een curryworst met frietjes geprobeerd. ik keek er al naar uit, de curryworst was lekker en goed gekruid zoals het hoort. Mochten de frietjes vers gemaakt zijn dan was het een top gerechtje voor mij. Zeker eens langs gaan als je in de buurt zijt. Geronimo is prachtige zaak, parking voor de deur en een prachtig uitzicht op de Möhnsee.

**Excellent food and service at Geronimo!** We had the pleasure of dining at Geronimo and absolutely loved it. The food was simply excellent! We were particularly blown away by the shish kebab and feta cheese. The shish kebab sauce was exorbitantly good – a real treat for the palate. The staff was also extremely attentive and friendly, which made the visit even more pleasant. We would love to come back and can only warmly recommend the Geronimo!
