We had a very tasty starter there, bruscetta. It was really very good! Unfortunately, the main course wasn't a dish that we took from the menu. The meat was delicious, but the side dish was simply inedible, completely inedible! It tasted gassy. Unfortunately our complaints about it were ignored. Unfortunately, we didn't experience any of the Italian hospitality that we are used to elsewhere that evening. We are dissatisfied with the restaurant and very disappointed! Mistakes can happen, but when we address them we are met with complete ignorance and it ruined our whole lovely evening! We will no longer be guests and are very disappointed!

Der Vorspeisenteller war gut aber die Nachspeise sehr lieblos angerichtet. ABER: Über 2 Stunden Wartezeit auf den Hauptgang, der erste Hauptgang (Fisch) war noch halb roh bzw. kalt dieser wurde dann wieder abgeräumt und wir mussten wieder 45 Minuten warten bis endlich der "richtige" Hauptgang kam, dieser war dann lauwarm und kaum gewürzt. Der Wein aus Kalabrien war auch gut. Die Küche scheint (wie schon seit Jahren) völlig überfordert mit mehr als einer Bestellung, wir werden es uns jedenfalls sehr gut überlegen hier noch einmal zu essen. Schade eigentlich, Luigi (der Oberkellner) war sichtlich betroffen und bemüht aber konnte das Desaster in der Küche auch nicht retten. Es kam auch keine Entschuldigung vom Chef (Antonio) und das Ganze bei einer Rechnung von ca. 60€ pro Person. Bei unserem letzten Besuch (im Juni 2024) war das völlig anders, das Essen war gut, hat zwar auch etwas lange gedauert und der Service (Luigi) war sehr gut, allerdings war damals das Lokal auch nicht so voll wie dieses mal.

The starter plate was good but the dessert was very carelessly prepared. BUT: We waited over 2 hours for the main course, the first main course (fish) was still half raw or cold, which was then cleared away again and we had to wait another 45 minutes until the "real" main course finally came, which was then lukewarm and barely warm seasoned. The wine from Calabria was also good. The kitchen seems (as it has been for years) completely overwhelmed with more than one order, but we will definitely think twice about eating here again. It's a shame actually, Luigi (the head waiter) was visibly affected and tried hard but couldn't save the disaster in the kitchen. There was no apology from the boss (Antonio) and the whole thing came to a bill of around €60 per person. On our last visit (in June 2024) it was completely different, the food was good, although it took a little long and the service (Luigi) was very good, although the restaurant wasn't as full back then as it was this time.

Completely overpriced and out of touch store. As “neighbors” we always enjoyed going to this restaurant. But with the prices... pasta dishes are under €20 but everything else is in the €30-40 range. The menu is no longer current. There was no more pizza.

We ate there a month ago with a large group (about 18 people) and everyone was very satisfied. Delicious, well-seasoned food at an optimal price-performance ratio. Good Aperol Spritz and wine, would love to come again when visiting Lübeck.

Uh yes, a ristorante without pizza? Unimaginable, but that's how it is here. It's a shame, because for me a pizza is a must in a ristorante, just like the schnitzel in a good country inn, juicy and delicious. But admittedly it's my very personal opinion. The service was very friendly and open-minded, you immediately felt comfortable and well looked after. We all had pasta at the table, very tasty, although my companions' pasta was a bit too al dente. But I couldn't confirm that from my side. Firm to the bite, yes, maybe it could have been a little less, but as I said, it was still ok for me. The price level is a bit demanding, with a starter, a meat dish, wine and dessert you can easily reach 70 euros per person. That's pretty sporty, I think. But 4 stars are still justified because the quality, taste and service are top. The fifth one doesn't exist, I'm picky about that, there's no offer of a delicious pizza for me, not just to take away, but also here in the Ristorante!

A very small but nice shop. The owner knew the daily menu by heart and was also able to give good recommendations. Unfortunately, eating took a good hour, but it was okay. An absolute highlight in terms of taste and very good service. However, the price is in the upper range.

Food wonderful. Ingredients of the finest quality, preparation on point! We were there as a group. Hence the long waiting time - normal operations continued, i.e. H. Well visited. A little too “open” for those who are newly in love, but still worth a visit at any time! The location in a residential area is an advantage!

Good morning, This restaurant is warm and familiar! Everyone is friendly and more than attentive! The food is the best I have ever eaten at an Italian restaurant! I was at San Michele with my wife on April 27th, 2024 and was impressed as always by the very good food and the polite service. I had a veal chop with asparagus and buratta, my wife had pasta with salmon. Before that a mixed antpasti starter. As always, everything was prepared to a high standard, the quality of meat and fish spoke for itself! The preparation takes a long time, which we were happy to accept. Always happy to go back to San Michelle. Nevertheless, I have to get something off my chest here! A Mr. Lehmann previously posted a review here and was also in the restaurant on April 27th, 2024. I am shocked by such a devastating verdict that I cannot confirm at all. People can have different opinions about prices, but this kind of whining because I can't get any grappa on the house is really unbelievable. The food was bad, and the service was probably too. I was in the restaurant on April 27th, 2024 and can't confirm that. This review seems to me more like a reckoning and then an advertisement for other Italian restaurants. I have to get this out of the way because it leaves me speechless how much was written by Mr. Lehmann without speaking to the boss (I haven't read it here), even though he's been the boss for 20 years!! knows. Maybe it didn't taste that good because you treated yourself to a high-quality Lambrusco with your meal. Please take a look at the restaurant for yourself, I can't confirm that. Uli Ui Ui….. how the restaurant “San Michele” with Antonio has slacked off - for me it always had a special feeling to eat there because you felt welcome as a guest + friend…. but unfortunately that was once... Unfortunately it was extremely relaxed. Apart from the extremely expensive prices for drinks and expensive prices for the food, the quality left a lot to be desired in relation to the expensive price. Today we had dinner again - and probably for the last time - with Antonio and his wife in the “San Michele” restaurant in Lübeck. Not only the waiting time of 1:45 hours, which is just tolerable, but also the time delay when serving the food for 4 people on the table with approx. 10-15 minutes per meal is not nice and everyone then fends for themselves to eat. If a bottle of cheap Lambrusco with 0.70l (purchase: approx. 5 - 6.- EUR) costs a whole 29.50 EUR and therefore more than a bottle of wine, then that's really special. Beer + water had normal prices. The dish of the day for a proud EUR 35.50 is a simple veal cutlet fried in the pan - without any sauce - only served with about 2 tablespoons of “arrabiata pasta”, which in reality was unfortunately just simple pasta Napolitana (with tomato sauce)... The whole thing for just EUR 35.50... doesn't fit at all - sorry. My wife's small portion of octopus with a “mirco salad bowl” tasted delicious - but it was for the quantity and the minimalist side dishes... completely miscalculated + overpriced. Our friends, who also dined with us and also shared the price/performance experience with us, quickly agreed with us: The rack of lamb was tasty and at least somewhat adequate - the small portion of noodles was not that good. “...we won't eat here anymore” that was the consensus of “UniSono” -. It's a shame but that's the way it is!! I really like “Antonio” - the boss - as a person and have known him for over 20 years... but what his guests are offered for this high-priced restaurant is unfortunately not worth the money. I don't want to blame the service at the table at all; they were friendly, courteous and attentive... that was a positive thing. P.S. When we finally spend > 250.- EUR with 2 pairs... I have the expectation that with a good Italian restaurant I will at least be offered a small nightcap / grappa "unsolicited" with the bill - but unfortunately nothing... nothing like that!! We experience this with all the other good Italians in Lübeck (with Gino in the San Marco, San Remo, with Salvatore on the ship, with Dirk in the VAI and with Vito in the tower and also a few others) ... At “San Michele” the question didn’t even come up… and when I asked the boss and the boss’s wife as they were leaving, the only answer was: “You could have let me know.” Conclusion: That doesn't fit here at all - far too overpriced food of unfortunately not high quality with sometimes small quantities (including side dishes) and long waiting times of 1:45 hours (even though the restaurant was not fully occupied)... Unfortunately there is a “NO GO”. A pity…. We regret this... but would like to at least give all other future guests some advance information. Ciao and arriverderci…

Uli Ui Ui….. was hat das Restaurant „San Michele“ mit Antonio nachgelassen - es war für mich früher immer mal was besonderes Feeling dort Essen zu gehen, weil man sich als Gast + Freund willkommen gefühlt hat …. aber leider war das einmal….. Es hat doch leider extrem gelassen. Außer extrem teuren Preisen für Getränke und teuren Preisen für die Speisen ließ die Qualität im Verhältnis zum teuren Preis doch extrem zu Wünschen übrig. Wir waren heute mal wieder - und wahrscheinlich auch zum letzten Mal - bei Antonio und seiner Frau im Restaurant „San Michele“ in Lübeck essen. Nicht nur die Wartezeit von 1:45 Std. die gerade noch verträglich ist, sondern auch der Zeitversatz beim Servieren der Speisen für 4 Personen mit ca. 10-15 Minuten pro Mahlzeit versetzt auf den Tisch ist nicht schön und jeder fing für sich dann alleine an zu essen. Wenn dann noch eine Flasche billiger Lambrusco mit 0,70l ( EK: ca. 5 - 6.- EUR) ganze 29,50 EUR und damit mehr als eine Flasche Wein kostet dann ist das schon speziell. Bier + Wasser hatten normale Preise. Das Tagesgericht für stolze 35,50 EUR íst ein in der Pfanne gebratenes einfaches Kalbskotellet - ohne irgendeinen Soßenspiegel - nur mit ca. 2 Esslöffeln „Arrabiata-Nudeln“ serviert, welche in Wirklichkeit leider nur einfache Nudeln Napolitana ( mit Topmatensoße) waren….. das ganze dann für schlanke 35,50 EUR … passt überhaupt nicht - sorry. Die kleine Octopus-Portion meiner Frau mit ´nem „Mirco-Salat-Schälchen“ schmeckte zwar lecker - war jedoch für die Menge und die minimalistischen Beilagen …. völlig fehlkalkuliert + überteuert. Unseren Freunden, die ebenfalls mit uns zusammen essen waren und das Erlebnis zum Thema Preis/Leistung ebenfalls mit uns teilten - waren sich mit uns sofort schnell einig: das Lammcarree war lecker und zumindest einigermaßen angemessen - ´die kleine Portion Nudeln dem entsprechend eher nichts so. „ .. hier gehen wir nicht mehr essen“ das war der Konsenz „ UniSono“ -. schade aber ist so !!. Ich mag „Antonio“ - den Chef - als Mensch sehr gerne und kenne ihn seit über 20 Jahren ….. aber was seinen Gästen für diese hochpreisige Gastronomie geboten wird ist leider das Geld nicht wert. Dem Service am Tisch möchte ich überhaupt keinen Vorwurf machen, die waren freundlich, zuvorkommen und aufmerksam … das war positiv zu bemerken. P.S. Wenn wir dann final mit 2 Paaren > 250.- EUR ausgeben … habe ich die Erwartungshaltung bei einem guten Italiener auch im Anschluß mit der Rechnung „ unaufgefordert“ einen kleinen Absacker / Grappa zumindest angeboten zu bekommen - aber leider Fehlanzeige … nichts dergleichen !! Das erleben wir bei allen anderen guten Italienern in Lübeck ( bei Gino im San Marco, San Remo, bei Salvatore auf dem Schiff, bei Dirk im VAI und bei Vito im Turm und auch einigen anderen ) … Bei“ San Michele“ kam noch nicht einmal die Frage auf… und bei der Nachfrage beim Chef und der Frau vom Chef beim Gehen kam nur die Antwort: „ Ihr hättet doch Bescheid sagen können“ Fazit: Das passt hier überhaupt nicht - viel zu überteuerte Speisen in leider nicht hochwertiger Qualität mit tlw. geringer Menge ( auch Beilagen) dazu lange Wartezeiten 1:45 Std. ( obwohl das Restaurant nicht voll besetzt war ) …. da ist leider ein „ NO Go“. Schade…. wir bedauern dies … möchten aber allen anderen zukünftigen Gästen zumindest eine Vorab-Info geben.

Had a spontaneous meal here. Very authentic and nice atmosphere. Unfortunately it took a little too long, but in the end it was so tasty that the wait was worth it.

We were there on March 9th. Five of us in San Michele. Reservations were only possible from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. We were there at 5:40 p.m. We got our drinks in about 20 minutes, which was absolutely ok, and ordered our food. The first disappointment was that there was NO PIZZA there anymore due to a lack of staff. However, we still found something nice. The absolute hardship, however, was that our food was served at 7:10 p.m. Since we were only allowed to stay until 8 p.m., it was unfortunately no longer possible to order dessert. An absolute no go. Added to this was the enormous volume in the restaurant. We are ABSOLUTELY LOVED by this location and service. The food was very tasty, it's a shame that the rest wasn't right.

Heartwarming, small restaurant with wonderful service. Small menu, with every dish well made. Great for couples, but also family and friends.

Yesterday we had dinner with the whole family. The reservation went well and the service was super nice and attentive. Unfortunately, due to a lack of staff, no pizzas could be offered, which we had to note with regret. The starters were extremely tasty and we also enjoyed the noodle main courses. A small point of criticism is allowed: the draft beer was served in 0.3 l glasses, so that the staff had to serve new glasses - larger glasses would compensate for the staff shortage.

More upscale Italian restaurant. Cozy atmosphere, not too many seats. Great, very attentive service and delicious food. Reasonable prices, good value for money. Highly recommended.

Das Lokal ist auf dem absteigenden Ast. Der Pizzabäcker hat gekündigt, ergo gibt es keine Pizza mehr. Ene Weinkarte hat es dort schon seit Jahren nicht mehr gegeben. Und ein Vorspeisenteller für 2 Personen ist mit 33 € einfach überteuert. Für eine ge-teilte Vorspeise und 2 Nudelgerichte haben wir mit Wasser und 1 l rosé 100 € bezahlt - das ist völlig überzogen. Wir werden wohl nicht wiederkommen.

San Michele, ein typischer Stadtteil Italiener. Lebendig, laut, familiär und gemütlich. Eine italienische Trattoria eben. Geführt wird Sie schon seid langer Zeit von Julia mit Ihrer Crew im Service und von Antonio und seinen Männern in der Küche. Wir waren schon oft zum Essen dort, haben aber noch nie etwas geschrieben. Und das obwohl Sie es wirklich verdient haben. Immer präsenter, netter und freundlicher Service. Und das, obwohl das Lokal eigentlich immer voll ist. Für die persönliche Speisen- und Weinberatung kommt Julia immer gern persönlich an den Tisch. Was aus der Küche kommt hat uns bis jetzt jedes Mal überzeugt. Es gibt eine kleine aber feine Speisenkarte mit Italiens Klassikern. Auch werden immer tagesfrische Spezialitäten extra angeboten. Die kalten und warmen Antipasti für zwei sind ein Traum, aber auch das Vitello oder der Büffelmozzarella sind immer wieder lecker. Vorab gibt es hausgebackenes Brot mit feinem Öl. Im Hauptgang hatten wir auch schon alles von der Karte- vom Kalbssaltin Bocca in feiner Salbei-Weinsauce über das leckere Ribeye in Gorgonzolasahne, das Lammcarree oder auch mal einen Schwertfisch vom Grill. Alles immer perfekt zubereitet und gut ab gewürzt. Hinterher ein kleines Tiramisu und einen Grappa - schöner kann es in Italien auch nicht sein. Wir bleiben in jedem Fall Stammgäste.

Ein toller Mix aus rustikaler Einrichtung und edlem Ambiente, freundlicher Bedienung mit Witz, Charme und Gelassenheit. Dazu ein großartiges Essen. Wir haben uns spontan entschlossen und mussten um 20 Uhr noch einen Moment auf einen Tisch warten, was uns nicht störte. Zur Eröffnung werden frische kleine Brötchen mit Olivenöl gereicht. Vorspeisenteller für 2 Personen ein Hingucker und Gaumenschmauß zugleich. Mit guten Abstand folgt das Hauptgericht, frisch und heiß und ebenfalls ein voller Genuß. Es war ein gemütlicher Abend zu viert.

Selbstgemachte Pasta ist schon ein Traum. Aber ein gesamtes Menü hier ist fantastisch. Habe lange nicht so gut gegessen. Die Bedingung ist freundlich , das Essen hervorragend und die Preise sehr günstig für diese Leistung. Vielen Dank.

Top Essen, leider sehr lange Wartezeit

Wir hatten eine überaus nette Servicekraft. Man spürte seine gute Laune, insgesamt war die Atmosphäre unter den Servicekräften super positiv. Das Essen kam in einem angemessenen Zeitrahmen. Es war wirklich alles sehr lecker, von den Hauptspeisen bis zum Nachtisch. Leider konnte man an diesem Tag nicht draußen sitzen. Drinnen ist es kuschelig, etwas zu eng, aber mehr Platz gibt das Restaurant eben nicht her. Kommen gern wieder.

Sehr freundliches bemühtes Serviceteam. Etwas Unaufmerksamkeit bei kleinen Nachbestellungen. Wartezeit könnte etwas kürzer sein, ABER mein Essen mit Rind und Pilzen auf Bandnudeln mit Trüffel war TOP.

Bewertung von Ristorante San Michele: Ich habe kürzlich im Ristorante San Michele gegessen und die Pizza Salame Piccante bestellt. Sie war köstlich und perfekt zubereitet. Der Service war tadellos, und das Restaurant befand sich in einer schönen Nachbarschaft. Alles war einfach perfekt, und die Zutaten waren frisch und geschmackvoll. Allerdings war das Licht im Restaurant etwas zu gedämpft, was es schwierig machte, zu erkennen, was ich gegessen habe. Ich möchte betonen, dass das Essen und der Service im Ristorante San Michele absolut beeindruckend waren. Die Pizza war herausragend, und ich konnte den frischen Geschmack der Zutaten wirklich genießen. Das Personal war freundlich, aufmerksam und professionell. Sie haben sich hervorragend um mich gekümmert und dafür gesorgt, dass mein Besuch angenehm war. Die Atmosphäre des Restaurants war charmant und einladend. Die Lage in einer schönen Nachbarschaft trug zu einer entspannten Atmosphäre bei. Es gab eine Vielzahl von Gerichten auf der Speisekarte, die jeden Geschmack ansprachen. Die Auswahl an Getränken war ebenfalls gut. Leider muss ich erwähnen, dass die Beleuchtung im Restaurant etwas zu gedimmt war. Es war schwierig, die Gerichte deutlich zu sehen, insbesondere die Details der Pizza. Eine hellere Beleuchtung würde sicherlich dazu beitragen, das Esserlebnis zu verbessern. Insgesamt war meine Erfahrung im Ristorante San Michele sehr positiv. Das Essen, der Service und die Atmosphäre waren fantastisch. Aufgrund des köstlichen Essens und des aufmerksamen Personals kann ich das Restaurant auf jeden Fall empfehlen. Es wäre großartig, wenn sie das Lichtniveau anpassen könnten, um das Gesamterlebnis zu verbessern.

Es gibt so etwas in ganz Norddeutschland nicht nochmal. Das beste Essen ist eines, aber die Atmosphäre, die Freundlichkeit, und das Gefühl, dass man bei Freunden ist, dass in Kombination macht das Restaurant einfach perfekt. Das muss man erlebt haben. Einfach erstklassig in jeder Hinsicht. Wir sind in kurzer Zeit zu Stammkunden geworden. Antonio und Julia Perrone sind die perfekten Gastgeber. Außerdem kann man auch extra Wünsche äußern die es nicht auf der Karte gibt. Dazu ist alles frisch und keine TK Fertigprodukte. Es ist seit Jahren mit gleichbleibender Qualität unverändert. Immer noch ein lübecker Geheimtip.

Essen war wie immer sehr gut, nur wenn man Hunger hat, sollte man dort nicht hin gehen. Denn leider dauert es bis zu einer Stunde, bis man sein Essen bekommt und das schon bei der Vorspeise. Man muss viel Zeit und Geduld haben, wenn man dieses Restaurant besucht, leider 🥺
