Wir waren auf gut Glück hier zum Essen und hat auch das Glück einen freien Tisch zu bekommen. Wir waren total begeistert von dem Essen. Ich war schon bei vielen Italiener essen und muss echt sagen, das ist mit Abstand das beste Restaurant. Schöne Grüße aus dem Rheinland

Ein echtes Stück Italien mitten in Lübeck! Das Ristorante da Angelo ist eines dieser seltenen Restaurants, in denen man sofort das Gefühl hat, nicht einfach „essen zu gehen“, sondern eingeladen zu sein. Die Atmosphäre ist lebendig, herzlich und angenehm ungezwungen – fast wie ein Abend in einer italienischen Familie, bei der zufällig auch sehr gut gekocht wird. Die Küche ist authentisch und ehrlich: keine überkandidelten Experimente, sondern solide, geschmacklich klare italienische Klassiker, die genau so schmecken, wie man sie sich wünscht. Besonders die Pasta-Gerichte sind hervorragend abgestimmt, und auch die Pizza überzeugt mit einem schönen, aromatischen Teig und hochwertigen Zutaten. Der Service ist aufmerksam und gleichzeitig angenehm unaufdringlich – man fühlt sich gut betreut, ohne dass es steif wirkt. Trotz der oft gut gefüllten Räume bleibt die Stimmung freundlich und entspannt. Man sollte unbedingt reservieren, denn das Restaurant ist zu Recht sehr beliebt. Wer jedoch einen lebendigen, authentischen Italiener sucht, bei dem Geschmack und Atmosphäre im Vordergrund stehen, wird hier definitiv glücklich. Fazit: Kein inszeniertes Luxusrestaurant, sondern ehrliche italienische Küche mit Herz – absolut empfehlenswert und jederzeit wieder einen Besuch wert. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Immer gut besucht, lecker handgemachte gut belegte Pizza

Das Essen ist super! Das Ambiente schlicht, bis gar nicht vorhanden. Leider. Der Service stets bemüht, denn das Restaurant war voll. Die Aussenanlage schreckt ab. Aber nochmal und darauf kommt es an: das Essen ist super!

Vorbestelltes Essen zum Abholen war pünktlich fertig, allerdings die falsche Pizza. Musste neu gemacht werden, +15 Minuten Wartezeit. Daher war der Rest fast kalt. Lokal überfüllt und laut, Service am Limit, die Pizzaaktion (10 Euro) übersteigt die Ressourcen der Küche. Dann bitte lieber teurer und weniger Chaos. Die Speisen selbst sind aber sehr lecker! Spargelrisotto ist ein Traum. Wir holen daher dort nur noch ab.

Kleines Italienisches Restaurant, wobei man nicht das Gefühl hat in Italien zu sein. Speisen und Getränke waren Zeitgemäß am Tisch. Die Speisen waren heiß und hatten eine angemesse Temperatur. Als Vorspeise gab es Bruschetta, diese war leider ein Reinfall, da sie mit völlig wässrigen Tomatenstücken belegt war. ( Mitte Mai gibt es schon schmackhaftere Tomaten als diese Wasserbomben). Als Hauptgericht gab es Spaghetti Carbonara und meine Frau hatte Pizza mit Ruccola und Schinken. Beide Speisen waren von guter Qualität und haben unseren Geschmack getroffen. Alles im allem war es gut, aber leider ohne italischem Ambiente.

Wir sind schon seit ein paar Jahren nicht mehr hier gewesen und dachten wir geben dem Laden nochmal eine Chance. Leider war dies eine Fehlentscheidung. Wir hatten gegen 17:30 angerufen und Essen zum abholen bestellt. Uns wurde gesagt, das das Essen um 18:30 Uhr abholbereit sei. Also waren wir um 18:30 da und wollten das Essen holen. Wir haben einmal Scampi gehabt und drei Pizzen. Die Scampi waren schon fertig aber die Pizzen noch nicht. Uns wurde dann gesagt das wir KURZ warten sollen. Und es wurde später und später. Wir wurden alle zehn Minuten gefragt, was wir denn bestellt haben, was nach einiger Zeit echt genervt hat. Als wir uns dann über die lange Wartezeit, die es gar nicht geben sollte, beschwert hatten, wurde uns gesagt das der Laden voll ist und wir uns entspannen sollten. Es war 19:20 als wir das bestellte Essen dann bekommen haben. Die Scampi waren natürlich dann schon seit fast 50 Minuten kalt. Vom Geschmack her war die Qualität jetzt auch nicht Bombe, schmeckte aber auch nicht schlecht. Wir kommen nicht nochmal wieder und bestellen auch kein zweites Mal:(

Pizza fettig, Nudel in Sahne und Pfeffer ertränkt. Das Ambiente: heruntergekommen! Unter dem Strich mehr Eckel als Nutzen zur Nahrungsaufnahme. Wir werden hier nie wieder hingehen.

Das Essen war sehr gut. Leider habe ich 80 Minuten auf meine Pizza gewartet. Als entschuldigt wurde mir ein Grappa angeboten der dann aber auch vergessen wurde.

Wir haben für unsere Kinder und uns Pizza zum mitnehmen geholt. Da wir sie im Drägerpark gegessen haben würden sie uns in Stücke geschnitten. Alle waren super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Pizzen waren saftig und super lecker 😋. Ich kann das Restaurant nur wärmstens empfehlen

Essen ist eindeutig sehr gut. Der Service allerdings eine einzige Katastrophe. Das Ambiente auch nicht berauschend. Das muss man sich nicht antun.

Naja, war ne Erfahrung aber es wird denke ich kein 2. Mal geben. Wirkte unprofessionell und nicht Italienisch. Das Essen besteht zum Großteil aus Sahne und die Pizza ist eher Lieferdienst mäßig dicker Teig und zu wenig Soße drauf. Es war laut, und wirkte hektisch.

Wir waren im Ristorante Da Angelo und haben den Abend sehr genossen. Vom ersten Moment an war die Stimmung entspannt und angenehm. Man sitzt ruhig, kann sich gut unterhalten und fühlt sich nicht abgefertigt. Der Service war aufmerksam und freundlich, ohne steif zu wirken. Genau die richtige Mischung. Das Essen hat uns ebenfalls überzeugt – frisch, gut abgeschmeckt und ordentlich portioniert. Man merkt, dass hier Wert auf Qualität gelegt wird. Für uns ein Ort, an den man gerne zurückkommt, wenn man einen unkomplizierten, guten italienischen Abend verbringen möchte.

Waren dieses Mal sehr enttäuscht, keine Atmosphäre wie wir Sie von Euch kennen! Laute Gespräche und Telefonate des Personal aus der Küche , in evt. arabischer Sprache ! Salz, Pfeffer und Ol wurden nicht gereicht, mussten wir uns selbst organisieren! Die Vorspeise Vitello Tonnato wurde komplett zu gestrichen ,( nicht italienisch)ohne Kapern, um das vertrocknete Fleisch zu kaschieren, dassGericht meines Mannes mit den Filet Spitzen war leider nicht so lecker wie sonst ! Die Pizza Thunfisch wurde nicht serviert wie bestellt! Ich wollte die Hälfte der Pizza mitnehmen, diese wurde zusammen gepresst in der Alufolie übergeben , normalerweise gab damals die leckere Pizza im Karton ! Leider konnte ich die zermatschte Pizza am kommenden Tag nicht mehr zubereiten! Wir sind so einen Service seit Jahren leider nicht von Euch gewohnt und werden mit einem weinenden Auge, Euch nicht mehr zum Essen besuchen! Schade es war jetzt für uns nach so vielen Jahren der Abschluss ! 😢 vielleicht kann sich ja Eurer Nachfolgende Team in Richtung italienische Küche entwickeln!

Wir waren mittags bei Da Angelo, das wir schon lange kennen und wurden etwas enttäuscht. Das Personal war teilweise etwas ungepflegt und wirkte nicht sehr professionell, die Teller waren nicht ganz sauber und als ich bezahlen wollte, wurde mir nur eine Summe genannt. Erst auf Anfrage erhielt ich eine Rechnung. Schade!

We ate at Da Angelo about a week ago. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was quite busy. We ordered bruschetta, which unfortunately wasn't good. The slices were hard and burnt. Caprese was okay, but the mozzarella slices were very thick and lightly seasoned. The salami pizza was tasty.

The various pasta dishes are highly recommended! Generous portions. Excellent.

Absolutely terrible... incredibly unfriendly staff... Uncomfortable atmosphere combined with too little space, so everything was very cramped. The food was mediocre... Never again!

There were four of us there today, the food was OK but not amazing, if the waiter had been a bit more attentive we would have ordered another bottle of wine and certainly coffee or something similar, but nobody asked, they only looked after the regular customers, we were not known there and were ignored, what a shame.

The restaurant is small. The tables are close together. This makes it noisy and somewhat uncomfortable during peak hours. On a nice day, you can avoid this by sitting outside. The food is very good. Among other dishes, we particularly recommend the lamb chops and the scampi. You should also try the antipasti. The prices are reasonable considering the good quality. If you want a good meal and don't mind the limited space or noise, you should visit this restaurant.

A sweet little Italian. Where you would like to go again. The staff very friendly. Very tasty pizza, hand made and fresh. E.g. mushrooms, onions. You can sit outside when the weather is good. Everything very clean and tidy. Also suitable for children. It's on a main road but it doesn't bother you at all.

Classic, authentic Italian restaurant. The kitchen is open, the atmosphere is loud, the rooms are narrow. That's exactly how it has to be. We like to be guests there.

Everything was great and very tasty

The visit was sobering. The drinks were okay, but the rest leaves room for improvement. I had the veal roulades with porcini mushrooms and pasta, my mother had a pizza with rocket and Parma ham. My pasta was overcooked, the porcini mushrooms were canned and tasteless. There was almost no salt in this dish and the roulade was almost certainly frozen. The ham on the pizza was dry, the dough itself was more reminiscent of bread than a crispy yeast dough. In between, I wasn't asked whether we liked it, when I would have liked to express my criticism, and my "Well, that's okay" in response to the question when clearing away the food was simply ignored. There is no passion here, neither in the kitchen nor in the service. The ambience is okay and the terrace is okay. It wasn't worth the 57 euros there. We probably won't come back.

Always the best restaurant in Lübeck. Unfortunately, the beer doesn't come from the Czech Republic, but fresh Lübzer on tap is much better than in the bottle.

The points here are clearly the very good food and the cheerful, friendly manner of the innkeeper and not the ambience. But that's the essence of an Italian restaurant. And this place is rightly always fully booked in the evening. So reservation is strongly recommended!

Well-attended Italian. Great cuisine. Good service. But everything is too narrow. Items that are in the dining room and have no place there block the view and create even more crampedness (drink cartons, etc.) It has been known for a long time that the seating is not the best. Unfortunately. It doesn't look nice. Please finally change it... but the food is great and delicious!!!!

The food is outstanding! Unfortunately, the waitress (the older blonde woman) wasn't particularly friendly and seemed overwhelmed. The facility is cramped and a bit older, but the really good food makes up for the ambience. The boss always has a smile on his face, so you also put up with the grumpy looking waitress.

Fantastic food and very nice people! There were 20 of us there and we had dishes across the menu. Everything was great and our guests were thrilled too! The food came at the same time and the portions are more than sufficient. We will come back in any case.

I was able to attend a wedding reception and can definitely say: I have never eaten as well in Germany as I did at Da Angelo. The employees are incredibly nice, they work hard, the atmosphere in the restaurant is typically Italian and the food is simply incredibly good! Authentically Italian, very, very tasty! I'll definitely be a regular when I finally move back to Lübeck! Try the Vitello Tonnato!!

Inferior products, seems somehow unclean and it is very cramped, food is not the real thing either. Overall, the price/performance ratio is not right, there are much better Italian restaurants in Lübeck.

The shop is already getting old. Everything kept very simple. Heard so much and the anticipation was great. Chairs wobble. Service is mediocre. Pizza was delicious, salad with turkey which was unfortunately cold and hard. Entrecote with Gorgonzola. Meat was well fried and drowned in the Gorgonzola sauce.

Having to wait far too long for the food

The boss was super friendly and explained to us the history of the pictures hanging there. Everything was very familiar and you could feel that most of the guests were regulars there. The food was very tasty, the wine...hmmmmm🥰🥰🥰. Our waitress was a bit more serious, just smiled at her words and seemed a bit cold. At the end, when it came to payment, she was unfortunately still taciturn. Okay, you can't always be in a good mood, but it just didn't fit in this great restaurant. Therefore not full marks

Es gibt wohl kaum ein anderes italienisches Restaurant das DA ANGELO das Wasser reichen kann. Das Essen ist fantastisch und das Ambiente das man sehen kann was in der Küche passiert ist irgendwie sympathisch. Alle Angestellten sind nett und zuvorkommend. Es geht kaum besser!!!

Das Lokal ist eng, ungemütlich und meine Sachen rochen danach nach Küche auf Grund der schlechten Lüftung. Die Pizza schmeckte sehr fade und entsprach eher einer schlechten Tiefkühlkost. Nur der Wein war gut. Leider nicht zu empfehlen. Preis und Leistung stimmen nicht.

Auch wenn es von außen im ersten Moment nicht so aussieht und innen vielleicht ein wenig eng ist, ist es von dem Service und dem Essen wirklich sehr zu empfehlen. Wir waren immer sehr zufrieden und haben auch noch nie etwas schlechtes gehört. Die Auswahl auf der Speisekarte ist sehr gut und Preis und Qualität sind in einem sehr guten Verhältnis. Parken ist an der Straße nicht immer ganz einfach und wenn man im Sommer draußen sitzt ist die starke befahrene Straße sicher auch nicht gerade ein Wohlfühlfaktor. Das gute Essen zu sehr fairen Preisen gleich das aber bei weitem wieder aus.

Wirklich lecker und reichlich, der Preis ist absolut ok. Innen fühlt man sich wie in Italien! Leider liegt das Lokal direkt an der vielbefahrenen Marlistraße, daher macht das Draußen-Sitzen (eigentlich toll, dass man das kann) im Sommer nicht ganz so viel Freude.
