We celebrated our 53rd wedding anniversary and chose the Casablanca restaurant. It was a truly wonderful experience. Everything was so perfect: the food, the service, everything was fantastic. We would like to sincerely thank the entire team. Everyone does an outstanding job. The Seidler family from Zittau says thank you!

Typical Italian menu, with good variety and great quality food and drinks. Very friendly service and athmosphere made us feel very welcome. Dog-friendly as well.

One of several Italian restaurants in Travemünde, directly across from the Priwall ferry. The staff was super friendly and relaxed! The food was delicious, and the prices, especially for the location and for Travemünde, were perfectly reasonable, or even relatively inexpensive. Everything was clean. Three of us visited on a Thursday evening in August.

The Casablanca restaurant is an absolute highlight and, for me, one of the best addresses far and wide. As soon as you enter, you notice that attention to every detail is paid to every detail. The ambience is stylish, elegant, yet warm and inviting – you immediately feel at home. The food is of the highest quality: each plate is not only a visual work of art, but also a true taste experience. Fresh ingredients, perfect seasoning, and a selection that includes both classics and creative highlights. The attention to detail is particularly impressive – you can tell the cooking here is done with passion. The staff is outstanding: attentive, warm, and always professional. Every request is fulfilled immediately; you are served as if you were a regular, and you can feel that hospitality is a top priority here. You feel not just like a customer, but as a welcome guest. The location is also excellent: easily accessible, with a special flair that rounds out your visit. Whether for a romantic dinner, a business lunch, or a cozy evening with friends – Casablanca offers the perfect setting. My conclusion: If you value first-class food, excellent service, and an all-around harmonious experience, you can't go past Casablanca. A visit you'll definitely remember—and definitely want to repeat!

The food was excellent, and the service was captivating, full of humor. We found it particularly thoughtful that a high chair was specially arranged for our little daughter from the neighboring restaurant, as none were available.

Located at the end of the shopping arcade, overlooking Travemünde harbor. Delicious food, friendly service, and excellent value for money. Great atmosphere. When the waiter noticed it was my daughter's birthday, he came over with rose petals and decorated the table. We thought it was very nice.

It's a disgrace that when I pay with my card, the machine tells me whether I want to tip 10% or 20%. And the very unfriendly staff can only advise against going to the restaurant.

An all-around successful dinner. The food was very good, the service attentive and friendly, and every wish was met. The seating is very comfortable (outdoors). I'd be happy to return.

Kind of rude service. Nobody smiles on us and because of language barrier I tried to help my friend to order. Server rises hes hand to me as “be quiet”. In the end my friends drink order was wrong because he didn’t let me help him. Carbonara had nothing to do with real pasta carbonara. Sauce was very runny and had no option to add more cheese to make it more thick. Not good experience at all. And hard to get any servers attention. Lady there had a really bad day. Maybe better for locals and Germany speakers. When paying bills server really lost it and threw our receipt to the table and bread basket. Didn’t thank us. SUPER RUDE SERVICE!

Very snotty staff, you're treated with double standards! Some are offered an aperitif after dinner, while others aren't. I won't be visiting this place again!

We were there during the Travemünde Week. The prices for fast food at the event are truly outrageous and outrageous. For this reason, we decided to eat here instead. Of course, we paid more than at the Travemünde Week, but the food—we each had a pizza—was excellent. And the prices were absolutely reasonable. The service is very good, and the atmosphere on the terrace is very nice. You're surrounded by the city's hustle and bustle, yet still feel isolated. We'd love to come back here on our next trip to Travemünde.

Whenever we're in Travemünde, we reserve at least one evening for the Casablanca. The food is first-class, the staff is super friendly and has been with us for many years. The overall atmosphere is extremely cozy and simply beautiful.

Unfortunately, I can't give it more than 3/5 :( Too bad... Starter: classic bruschetta - well done, maybe one slice of bread too many for a starter. But well done. Main course: spaghetti aglio e olio con peperoni 🌶... marked as spicy. Well, it wasn't that spicy at all. I even told the waitress. They said they don't make it spicy because otherwise it would be too spicy for the customers. Sorry, that was a stupid excuse. There really wasn't any pepperoni in it, not even pepperoni oil. It was a classic, delicious aglio e olio - even with small pieces of tomato. But if a guest complains about something, you can't just downplay it and claim that's how you do it - if you list an ingredient on a menu, then it should be included. A simple apology and maybe an espresso on the house would have been the easiest thing to do, but I felt stupid as a guest, but there really was zero pepperoni in it. It was milder than a milk roll. The food itself was good, very good, in fact. With an honest answer, it would have been a solid 4/5.

We've been going to this restaurant once or twice a year for years. I'd like to particularly highlight the service! Attentive, helpful, informative, and recommendative, all while being super friendly. Unfortunately, that's no longer a given these days. Here in Hamburg (Portuguese Quarter), you're sometimes not greeted. Special requests (sharing a pizza or half-and-half) were not fulfilled several times. Cutting the pizza was charged €3.50 (without us being told). THANK YOU for still being 100% reliable and extremely competent. I highly recommend it, even with children 🩷

Our friend from Travemünde came with us and we visited her. The food - pasta with various side dishes - was very good. I asked for the extra wine list - wow (that was a mistake 😂). I'm a wine lover and couldn't resist. The four of us spent four hours there, which is why we paid €80 per person. It was definitely worth it. The dessert was also very good. I can only recommend the restaurant.

A very arrogant boss! My girlfriend and I were sitting at different tables! And he came and told the waiter to sit at the same table! That doesn't seem normal to me! Maybe I didn't even want to sit at the same table with her! And the food was terrible: dry pizza with one slice of salami, tasteless, and very little pasta! I paid 18 euros for that portion of pasta! I need three portions to satisfy my hunger. There were no customers at the tables; they were all empty.

Came across this restaurant by chance on an evening walk and got a table without any problems, even with a twin stroller. Super nice service, the food arrived quickly and was super tasty. There is also a nice ambience. A clear recommendation for me. We'll definitely be back.

We recently celebrated a birthday at this restaurant. Some of us have eaten at this restaurant several times, me for the first time. The restaurant itself is cozy and the service staff are very friendly. We ordered a bottle of champagne, wine, starters and mains. In one main course there was a cut corner of a tetra pack. The waiter apologized several times. At the end of the evening, the topic was not discussed again, there was no extra for the lady concerned, and also for our entire table, no closing, coffee or schnapps, as we actually know from every other Italian. In this context, I find that very unfortunate, on the one hand the high bill and on the other hand the plastic part in the food. The ladies who live there and have been there many times no longer go there. You could have kept the guests using easy and inexpensive means.

The boss is always in the middle, so you can feel the mood of the guests and employees. And what stands out among the hosts is clearly the young guard. Every time you visit, the food is of high quality in terms of materials and composition. We have already eaten the menu up and down (except for the pizzas), and we recommend everything. When I go on vacation, I always say: You have to eat where the locals do. If you're from Travemünde, I can recommend going to Casablanca!

Small Italian restaurant with excellent cuisine, attentive and friendly service in a nice atmosphere. We were lucky, small family of three was very hungry but no reservation. Still got a good spot. Restaurant is very narrow but stylishly furnished and well maintained. Waiters are very courteous and helpful. The food was completely convincing, we had spaghetti carbonara (in the children's edition: with cream), a fillet of beef and spaghetti aglo e olio with scampi. Absolutely delicious! The prices are in the slightly higher range. The only point of criticism: there was no bread, olives, etc. to snack on while waiting for the food, and there was a nightcap on the house at the end. That's kind of part of it for me. Still a full 5 stars. It's been a long time since I've had such good Italian food.

A great Italian restaurant with delicious food, a fun team who enjoy their work and offer very good service. We laughed, enjoyed ourselves and were able to leave the restaurant as very satisfied guests. Prices are completely reasonable. And the fact that it was packed and most guests seemed happy and relaxed also speaks for the quality of the food and service.

I have rarely eaten so well and relaxed with children. Even the simple spaghetti with tomato sauce was so good that the kids ate it up.

We went to this restaurant for the first time. Since we come from further away, we found out about the menu online, but unfortunately we discovered that most of the menu was incorrect. I thought the food tasted pretty good, but the service wasn't that good. Everything was very cramped with the tables. It's also a shame that there are differences between guests who are there more often and the holidaymakers who pay the bill, because the service at our neighboring table was much friendlier and more attentive and at the end we were given a schnapps when the waitress asked. I think the work should be more uniform and the operation was the same. I'm deducting stars again for this cheeky answer, I've never experienced anything like that. I have often been to a restaurant for the first time, but all guests there were treated equally.

We had very nice pasta dishes! We were in a hurry and asked if we could manage in an hour, the staff managed to serve us very fast even if the resturant were more or less full. EXCELLENT!

Can't understand the few negative reviews! I've been eating there off and on for about 10 years. For me, Casablanca is the best restaurant in Travemünde. I am very demanding when it comes to food. My expectations were always met and the staff is super friendly, so you immediately feel at home. The complainers should go to a snack bar 🤣.

My absolute favorite restaurant in Travemünde. Very tasty dishes prepared with love and generous portions. I had spaghetti with seafood and counted over 15 shrimp. Particularly noteworthy is the first-class service. Very attentive, small gestures when placing an order are responded to very quickly. The coffee at the end was one of the highlights. It was served black, separately in a small glass of warm milk. Top!
