We took a detour to Travemünde today and had lunch here. The food was incredibly delicious and the server very friendly. The ambiance was excellent, and we would definitely come back.

A large selection of Italian specialties; we were extremely satisfied with everything from appetizers to desserts. Top quality and excellent value for money. Very friendly and attentive staff. Reservations are recommended during peak season.

We had meat dishes that were simply perfect – cooked to perfection, wonderfully seasoned, and paired with creative side dishes. You can immediately tell that the chef knows his craft and enjoys what he does. The ambiance is also perfect – stylish yet cozy, with an atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. The service was attentive and warm, without being forced. An evening full of flavor, passion, and skill – an absolute recommendation for anyone seeking good Italian food!

If you want to eat very well and you're nearby, go there. We were staying at a nearby hotel. Marco gave us excellent service, and the food was delicious. Why deduct a star for the service? Because on the second day, the head waiter and the manager were extremely unruly. The ambiance is nostalgic and cozy.

The food is truly high-quality and delicious, albeit at typical Baltic Sea prices. Pizza costs around €15. The service is extremely good, though; even during rush hour, the food arrived super quickly.

Great food, delicious pizza, great service. Whenever we're home, we go to Bellavista several times. Very child-friendly (tablecloths to paint on, colored pencils), short wait times—never disappointed. I'm always disappointed by people who write completely inappropriate negative reviews and penalize great places with one star—completely undeserved. Overpriced? Pasta and pasta between 13 and 20 euros? In the middle of Travemünde? Welcome to life... We're looking forward to our next visit!!

First you were complained that you only ordered an appetizer (€17.50), then you were charged too much for a beer.

At first, the waiter was unpleasant because he treated us so condescendingly. When we saw on the menu that a 0.2L Coke cost €3.40 and fries cost €6, we left. 💸👋

We ate there today: tagliatelle with meat sauce and pizza 🍕 mozzarella. The tagliatelle tasted like a ready meal, and we returned the pizza because it wasn't cooked all the way through. What a shame.

The food is amazing, it's often busy so things can take a little longer, but it's definitely worth it.

The waiter had too many tables and couldn't devote enough time to us. Incorrect orders and frequent questions resulted. The restaurant caters to tourists, so prices are accordingly high and portion sizes are small. The quality, however, is good. However, it was uncomfortable for us, and we left before dessert.

The pizzas were truly delicious, many thanks to the chef. The waiter's behavior!!! was unfortunately disrespectful and unprofessional. He barely paid us any attention, was very curt and unfriendly, and seemed irritable. In contrast, he was much friendlier to the other guests. Treating guests differently in this way is truly disappointing and unacceptable...

Service ok, prices ok, my pizza was okay, it started with the way it looked. I always think it's a shame when the pizza doesn't fill the plate. Smaller plates or larger pizza meant it was watery, but I think that was an isolated problem. It looked better at the tables next to me.

Completely overpriced for mediocre quality. My lasagna, which cost €18.50, was the size of a small slice of cake, barely big enough to fill a tooth. And since we weren't happy, the waiter was rude and didn't even say goodbye. What a pity!!!

We spontaneously decided to visit this restaurant. We were greeted warmly and given a table, and the food was served quickly and delicious despite the restaurant being quite busy. However, one negative aspect, which really annoyed me, was that the oil and vinegar that had been placed at the table for the bread I was about to eat, were simply taken away as we walked past and placed at another table. Two minutes later, my plate was cleared away, along with the rest of the bread. Unfortunately, the waiter didn't ask us how much more oil/vinegar we needed or whether we still wanted to eat the bread. This somewhat spoiled the experience and put me off ordering dessert or anything else. Nevertheless, I would recommend the restaurant.

We visit Ristorante Bellavista on a weekday early evening and are free to choose our table. The table and bench/chair make a clean impression, and the flowers and candle complete the positive first impression. A very friendly waitress immediately appears with an appealing menu offering a wide range of Italian cuisine. I choose the quattro stagioni pizza for €17.50 with olives, ham, artichokes, and mushrooms. I also order a half-liter of non-alcoholic wheat beer for a whopping €6.20. In my opinion, the drink prices I find on the menu are consistently overpriced. Drinks and pizza are served after a reasonable wait. The pizza tastes good except for the blackened olives, but there's still room for improvement visually; there's not much evidence of "quattro stagioni."

We couldn't even order anything to eat because we were immediately greeted poorly. The waiter looked at me like we were stupid for asking for a Coke at the bar. Then we were told to sit down, and the menu was immediately forced on us, as if we were only allowed to sit there if we also ordered something to eat. My plan was actually just to have a drink.

A REAL Italian restaurant, the only one in Travemünde, with many regulars. Reservations are definitely worth it! Great food and drinks, fantastic service, keep it up!

You're always greeted warmly. Reservations are recommended during the season, as it's usually very busy.

Absolutely splendid spaghetti marinara

Service super fast and super friendly! We were there on the hottest day of the year and there were a lot of customers on site, but they were all served professionally and quickly! The kebab meat is made from minced meat and the quality and taste of the kebab is rather mediocre (grade 3). A kebab costs €9. The shop and toilets could be cleaner, but overall you can eat well and cheaply there! There is also fresh pizza, but I haven't tried it so I can't write anything about it.

We wanted to eat there in the afternoon on May 1st with 6 adults and 3 children. As expected, the terrace was well attended. One person in our group asked for a seat inside. The waiter said there was a free choice of seats - we should see for ourselves whether there was anything available. So we started pushing three seemingly free tables together. On one of them there were glasses and a menu - which could have been left there at short notice by someone in our group. Then the outside waiter came and spoke to us in a rude tone asking if we couldn't see that the table was occupied. The manner was unnecessarily harsh - it could have been clarified in a friendly manner. Shortly afterwards we were offered a table, but the mood was gone. We decided to leave hungry. It's a shame - the sound makes the music, and unfortunately that was completely missing here.

First of all, I have to say that I only ever write a review if something was particularly good or particularly bad. We often go to Travemünde for a short vacation and a visit to BellaVista is always included (opposite our hotel). This was also the case on our last holiday at Easter. So far our visits have always been satisfactory, although not outstanding. The food was tasty and the service was fine. Unfortunately we had a very bad experience on our last visit at Easter. We were five people, four adults and one child and unfortunately I didn't check the menu in advance. The waiter assigned to us was quite snippy right from the start, not to say unfriendly. When I first looked at the menu, I immediately noticed the next price increase, which has now reached an outrageous level. 6.20 € for 0.5l wheat beer, 0.3l apple spritzer for 4.50 €, almost 8€ for a children's salami pizza that felt like it was almost 10-12 cm in diameter and had three small slices of salami on it and a fairly manageable portion of spaghetti aglio olio for 13.50 €. The biggest negative highlight, however, was the way complaints are handled in this restaurant. This was our 7th or 8th visit and the 1st complaint to date. My mother and I both had spaghetti aglio olio. Unfortunately the dish was not edible for both of us as it was far too salty, otherwise it was good as always. Nice spiciness from the chili and a very nice garlic taste. I've eaten this dish there many times and so far it's always been on point. When I asked the waiter about it, he said rather rudely that they were making it new and then turned to my mother. He indirectly accused her of putting too much Parmesan cheese on it and that that was where the saltiness came from. Next time she should check the noodles first. I told him that I didn't put any parmesan on it and it was just as over-salted. He then said again rather stroppily that he had already said that it would be remade. A little later the food arrived and the waiter served it to us with the cheeky remark “now without any salt”. In fact, the saltiness made it okay now. However, the beautiful garlic aroma, the spiciness and the aroma of the chili were completely gone. It just tasted like pasta drowned in oil. It seemed to me as if they had just washed the noodles, added new chilies and garlic and stopped the whole thing from cooking. The worst thing was, there wasn't the slightest apology. Neither in that moment with words nor in the course of the rest of the evening in the form of a free espresso or limoncello. After this incident, the waiter no longer felt like serving us properly. Otherwise, all that remains to be said is that we also had a pizza and it also felt that it had become worse as the price had increased. Finally, I would like to say that we find it very unfortunate how this restaurant has developed. In general, we have to say that prices have continued to rise while quality has fallen at the same time. One has the feeling that the holidaymaker is simply being milked here. There are other restaurants in Travemünde that show that there is another way, where the price-performance ratio is still right. It's a shame, it was only a stone's throw from our hotel and we practically didn't always have to go to the front row.

I love this great Italian restaurant - a must when we are in Travemünde. The antipasti starter, tagliatelle with salmon or pizza - we always enjoyed it very much.

I would recommend. Nothing major to complain about with the food. Nice service and the food, although homemade, comes relatively quickly. Price slightly on the higher side, but justified in our experience. The ambience is quite pleasant if possible given the location and the tables outside are protected from the wind, which is very welcome. As a tiramisu lover, I can also say that this worked well in the restaurant.

El restaurante no es "de lujo", pero la comida es buena y el personal es agradable. Nuestra factura fue de 35 € por una deliciosa pizza y un plato de tagliatelle más dos pequeñas botellas de agua. . . Le pedí al camarero que me diera 10 € adicionales por la propina, pero insistió en que me la diera yo mismo (su inglés / alemán no era genial y me di cuenta de que respetuosamente no quería cometer un error). Este restaurante está en una buena ubicación y es genial a cualquier hora del día o de la noche; es simplemente una visita obligada. No te arrepentirás.

Das ist gute italienische Küche, sehr lecker. gute Bedienung, aber € 19 für 1/2 ltr. Pino Grigio und 7,90 für 1 Flasche Wasser - das ist absolut nicht in Ordnung. Das sind Mafia Allüren!

Wir sind nach dem Lesen der Bewertungen mit gemischten Erwartungen zum Abendessen gefahren. Für einen Dienstagabend hatten wir erwartet ohne Reservierung einen Tisch zu bekommen. Die meisten Tische waren reserviert. Wir haben sehr höflich trotzdem noch einen Tisch bekommen und konnten während unseres Aufenthaltes beobachten, wie das Personal mit viel Einsatz und Freude auch anderen Gästen das Essen ermöglicht hat. Sehr höfliche Athmosphäre! Ist nicht schwer gefallen sich willkommen zu fühlen. In jeder Hinsicht übertroffen wurden unsere Erwartungen zu den Speisen. Bei für uns „neuen“ Italienern, haben wir uns angewöhnt möglichst landestypische und gern mal auf den deutschen Gast „zugeschnittenes“ zu bestellen. In diesem Fall aus einer angenehm übersichtlichen Karte Pizza Prosciutto/ Ricolla und Bandnudeln Bolognese (Originalrezept). 2 Personencheck im hälftigen Wechsel. Resultat: Ganz klar lange gehegte und gepflegte Zubereitungsform! Bolo (man entschuldige die rustical alltagstaugliche Beschreibung) definitv original italienische „Mama Küche“ in bester Marnier! 😊 Pizza ebenso clean wie in einem italienisch nachmittäglichen Innenhof frisch aus dem Pizza Ofen! Beides sensationell gut und besonders herausstechend durch „Einfachheit“. In nicht wirklich auszudrückender Brillanz: Weniger ist mehr! Bestmögliches Kompliment! Nachtisch: Tiramisu (Hausgemacht) und eine Dessert - Kombi „Bella Vista“ Nur ein Wort! SENSATIONELL! Speziell die Tiramisu - ein Traum! Danke Maestro! Wir sind speziell bezüglich italienischer Küche über die Maßen verwöhnt und anspruchsvoll! Unser Credo: Gut ist wenn der erste Biss die Phantasie animiert das Gefühl tiefster italienischer Provinz in Mamas Cucina aufkommen zu lassen. Im Falle des Bella Vista: GELUNGEN! From the reservation to the seating to the service, the service was pleasant, friendly, almost familial. Our server was truly attentive and brought us superbly delicious food. The lentil soup was delicious, the large seafood salad was fantastic. The seafood composition was magnificent. Cooked like in Portugal, but with a more harmonious sauce. A dream. The dessert, the parfait affogato, was also a poem. The whole thing came at a price, but it was truly worth it. A highly recommended restaurant!

Die Reservierung ging super einfach und nett über die Bühne (vor Ort und auch telefonisch). Der Tisch war schön eingedeckt und dekoriert. Zum Start haben wir Antipasti-Teller genommen, vom Hause gab es frisches Brot mit Oliven und Öl dazu. Unsere Hauptgerichte haben wir a la carte gewählt. Es war für jeden etwas dabei. Die Pizzen- und Nudelgerichte waren verputzt bis auf den letzten Rest. Die Pizzen waren perfekt. Die Lasagne wurde in höchsten Tönen gelobt. Auch die Meeresfrüchte sind gut bei uns angekommen. Und dann erst der Nachtisch, lecker. Es wurde Tiramisu und Panna Cotta sowie Kindereis ausgesucht. Das Personal war gut drauf und zuvorkommend. Das Essen kam in guten Zeitabschnitten. Natürlich waren auch die Getränke einwandfrei. Ich bedanke mich für ein unvergessliches Geburtstagsessen.

We visited this restaurant on a Monday evening without a reservation. Luckily we were still able to get a table. We were warmly welcomed and shown to the table, the following waiter was super friendly and accommodating. And then the food, from the starter to the dessert, everything was delicious. So absolutely friendly staff, great food and a well-kept yet cozy atmosphere. Always my pleasure!!! P.s.: Be sure to try the calamaretti :-)

Nach einer langen Anreise bestellten wir 3 Plätze im Bella Vista, da wir es stets in guter Erinnerung hatten. Doch an diesem Abend wurden wir sehr enttäuscht. Wir wurden an der Tür plaziert, hinter Plastikwänden,sehr eng alles. Das, was ich in dem Restaurant fast immer esse, Tagliatelle al salmone, fiel durch. Der Lachs schmeckte merkwürdig und die Folgen bekam ich in der Nacht und am nächsten Tag zu spüren. Als wir am nächsten Tag im Restaurant anriefen, sagte man uns, es kommt nur frische Ware auf den Tisch, die Magen- Darmgrippe geht hier rum. Vielleicht ist das der Grund. Lachs wird in der nächsten Zeit nicht mehr auf meiner Wunschliste stehen. Das Personal bemühte sich um Freundlichkeit, doch aufgrund des Massenandrangs war Genuss und Gemütlichkeit nicht möglich. In Zukunft bevorzugen wir andere Restaurants, wo der Kunde noch "König" ist, wo das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt und wo Wohlfühlen noch dazu gehört. Schade, die Enttäuschung haben wir nicht erwartet.

There were five of us there for a family dinner and we had a table in the winter garden. It was cozy and warm there and very comfortable. The service was very attentive, cheerful, friendly and funny. The food (mixed starter plate, 5 different main courses, desserts, ...) and the wine were without exception excellent. We were the last guests in the restaurant and were still greeted with kindness and a smile. We would love to come back and would recommend the restaurant at any time.

The Bellavista is an absolute must for every Italy lover in Travemünde! The food is delicious, the service is warm and the atmosphere is simply wonderful. We're always happy to come back!

I visited this store on a Thursday evening in December. You were warmly welcomed and were free to choose a seat. The tuna pizza was tasty and reasonably priced. The tiramisu was visually very nice to look at and if you like it, you will enjoy it. And at around €8 I think it's a reasonable price for the size. What didn't really appeal to me personally was the ambience. This is of course very subjective, but I didn't get the right feel-good factor to linger for a long time. But for a delicious, not overpriced pizza 🍕 you can stop by

We were there spontaneously on Sunday with our dog and received a very warm welcome. The pizza was one of the best we have ever enjoyed. Extremely nice and courteous employees. We'd love to come back.

Hello Bellavista team, We happened to have lunch at your restaurant today and would like to thank you for the great experience. We received a warm welcome and it just so happened that it was our 7 year old son's birthday. Our table was immediately decorated and he was given a few things to paint - he really enjoyed it! The food was really excellent, from the starter to the main course (see pictures). The service was always friendly and attentive, which gave us a really nice lunch.
